It's been so long but we're back, i'm gonna be honest, didn't think i'd have anytime to do this but I do now :D Also gonna point out, the theme was supposed to be the Europe, or you know the English version of the intro, i forgot about the Japanese one so :P.

Chapter 16: I love you

Azanael saw Tsubael coming with a right hook and blocked it, Tsubael soon followed up with a kick aimed at Azanael's head. Tsubael wasted no time and charged up a blast, Azanael broke off Tsubael to dodge. Meanwhile everyone else watch in confusion, did Sigma really get into Tsubael's mind?
"I don't believe what I am seeing." Goes Hagino. Out of all things today, this shook her deeply.
Azanael was conflicted, she didn't wanna get killed but she didn't wanna hurt Tsubael, she had to talk her out of this trance.
"Tsubael please stop, I beg of you."
Her pleads would fall on deaf eats as Tsubael kept on attacking.
"Shut up, you lied and made me believe you loved me!"
"I do!" Azanael responded with true feeling.
Tsubael quickly got Azanael with a punch in her gut, she then smashed her forearm into her face. She quickly fired a blast that knocked Azanael back.
Azanael got out of the blast before it crashed into a wall. She looked directly at Tsubael and saw nothing but anger.
"Tsubael please calm down."
Tsubael rushed her with a left, Azanael grabbed it.
"Tsubael!"
An uppercut would cause Azanael to release her hand on Tsubael's fist, and open herself up to a barrage of fists.
A look of panic was on Mari.
"We can't let Tsubael keep on like this." Goes Mari. "We gotta help."
X looked at her." Mari, everyone we can't interfere."
"What?!" Went the others.
"X why?" Goes Alia.
X looks back at the fight.
"This is something only Azanael can handle right now, us intervening right now would only make things worse right now."
"X how can you be sure?" Goes Zero.
X gives Zero an eyebrow.
"This is simple manipulation, Sigma can do that, remember with Doppler, Middy and Techno." He says.
Zero pauses for a minute.
"So let Azanael beat the heck out Tsubael?"
"NO, at least I hope not."
X knows that helping Azanael would only alienate them from Tsubael's trust. He can only hope this won't get out of hand.
Azanael kept blocking Tsubael's attacks.
"Please Tsubael, stop this now."
Tsubael would try a roundhouse, Azanael ducks under and jumps back.
"I beg you, don't make me fight back."
Tsubael pauses and shows a grin.
"It's not fun if I don't beat your face in without a fight."
"Tsubael, please."
Tsubael came rushing back at Azanael. She was at her wits end.
'I've got no choice, forgive me Tsubael.' Azanael thought.
Tsubael came in with a hard right, but Azanael ducks under, she then sends a hard strike to Tsubael's gut, stopping her in her tracks.
Everyone stood still waiting for the 2's next move.
Tsubael's mouth was wide open. Azanael felt her heart begin to break.
"Good." Goes Tsubael. Azanael froze when Tsubael said that, she'd regret that as Tsubael went for a knee to her face. Azanael starts walking back from the hit, she looks ahead and sees a kick coming her way. Azanael blocks it and Tsubael springs off for a backflip, during it she fired a blast at Azanael. She smacks it to the left.
Azanael sees her charging at her again. This time Azanael responds back and charges at her. Both connect with rights to each one's fist.
Tsubael would go for a gut punch. Azanael grabs it. Azanael then pulls Tsubael into a knee, the shock leaves Tsubael staggered on her feet. Azanael hits Tsubael with a right hook and Tsubael goes rolling on the floor. Azanael watches as Tsubael got up, she looked pissed.
"Tsubael, please... come to your senses, you know I love you."
Tsubael stood up and stares at Azanael.
"Bitch." Responds Tsubael.
Azanael was caught off guard by that, Tsubael had an opening, she drove her knee into her gut, Tsubael jumps behind Azanael and kicks her hard in the back of her head.
Azanael stumbles, but recollects her self, but Tsubael would not let up as she fires a blast into her back. Azanael soon meets the wall, and the blast goes off.
"Azanael!" Goes Mari.
Ekaril grit her teeth.
Tsubael stood waiting for Azanael to emerge, and she does, angry.
"TSUBAEL!"
Tsubael starts laughing, Azanael's aura begins to show. Tsubael's laugh would come to a halt. Azanael quickly rushed her with punch to the head. Tsubael falls straight down. Azanael grabs her legs and tosses her up into the air, soon Tsubael would fall down and into a bicycle kick to the face, she hits the wall. Tsubael would rush fast, but get a gut punch for her attempt. This time Azanael fires a blast and sends Tsubael back into the wall.
Azanael stood, waiting for Tsubael's next move. And soon it did come, and it was in the form of a blast, Azanael quickly fired back and that would be a mistake as it wipes Tsubael's and meets her.
Azanael was soon overcome with fear and regret.
"TSUBAEL!" She shouted as she ran to her. Thankfully Tsubael was still alive.
Azanael turned her over to look at her, tears started rolling down her face.
"Az...Azanael.." Goes Tsubael.
"Huh... Tsubael?!" Goes a reliving Azanael.
Tsubael opens her eyes to her. A smile on both faces. Azanael brought her in for an embrace, but this would be another mistake.
"Die."
Azanael's eyes widen as Tsubael crashed her fist into her, this time Tsubael fires a blast that knocks the wind out of Azanael and sends her flying, Azanael hits the ground in pain.
"Shit.." She says lowly.
She looks to see Tsubael charging another blast at her.
"I... I gotta get up.." Went Azanael.
Tsubael soon fired her blast, but then someone got in the way and knocks it away.
Tsubael glared harshly as it was Berkana.
"Berkana?" Goes Azanael.
Everyone blinked, when did she move.
"If it isn't Sigma's traitor." Goes Tsubael.
"Enough of this, Azanael start taking this seriously."
"What?"
"It's clear that simple words are not getting through to her, you must take action, Tsubael will kill you if you don't."
Azanael stood up, she couldn't believe what she was hearing, or at least who was saying it.
"Now as for you, I refuse to let my rival be killed by anyone, her defeat shall be by my hands, and no one else, especially her lover."
Tsubael tightens her stare on Berkana but Azanael walks in front.
"Thanks." Goes Azanael.
Berkana doesn't say anything and returns to the group, even then she doesn't talk.
Azanael looks dead at Tsubael. She knows her, she knows she's there. And if she must, she knock her back into reality.
"Tsubael, i love you. And if i must beat you to get you back, so beat it." Azanael said as she got into a fighter stance. This was gonna be hard on her.
Plays: Iris battle theme-Mega man X4(How could i miss this gem)
Tsubael and Azanael came rushing one another. Tsubael went for a hard right, Azanael ducks it. Tsubael tries to bring her knee up to interfere but Azanael catches it. She grabs the whole leg and throws her into a wall.
Tsubael quickly recovers and fires a blast. Azanael smacks it away, Azanael fires a homing torpedo(i typed horming 1st :( ), Tsubael jumps over it but it comes from the back. Tsubael glances behind her and fires at it. Soon she looks back and sees a parasitic bomb coming. She dodges it and then a magnet mine.
Azanael soon fires the bubble splash and one captures Tsubael, for a moment. Getting Tsubael more and more pissed.
Azanael then fired gravity weld, Tsubael grit her teeth as the force pulled her back, this allowed Azanael to fire a storm tornado and send Tsubael against a wall. Then Azanael fired a boomerang cutter. Tsubael was stuck against the wall now. Allowing Azanael to charge up her speed burner.
Everyone saw the tech that Azanael was doing, making smart uses of her sub weapons.
Soon Tsubael would get off the wall annoyed. But Soon saw a flaming blue coming her way.
"TSUBAEL!" Azanael shouted as a hard right connected and smashed Tsubael into the ground.
Soon Azanael started charging her storm tornado. Tsubael trying to get back up to her feet before she finished but instead of a tornado, she was greeted with charged homing torpedo.
"DAMN!" Went Tsubael as she proceeded to try and dodge the fishes coming for her. This allowed Azanael the chance. She charged up her gravity weld and let loose. The force pulling Tsubael up.
Azanael soon fired the charged storm tornado and soon the charged boomerang cutter. Tsubael would land on the ground hard, Azanael used the charged version of the parasitic bomb. But did not fire yet as she moved to Tsubael.
No one said anything as they watched the scene unfold.
"Tsubael.." Azanael said to her girl.
Tsubael laid on the ground, face up, looking in pain. She begun to shift but slightly.
"Azan...ael," She said in a worrying whimper.
That shook Azanael, did she over do it, possibly.
"I'm here Tsubael." She goes.
"I...i'm sorry..." Goes the gunner as she moves to get up but begins to fall over.
Azanael turns off her sub weapon and runs to help her, but soon stops. Tsubael falls face first.
Azanael begins to shake. 'This, this isn't right.'
Azanael stands before Tsubael, she was going to catch her, but worried, this could be a trap. A facade.
"Tsubael, is it you?" She asked.
Tsubael is quiet for a moment.
She starts to move again. She gets up slowly, wobbled. Azanael catches her.
Tsubael starts to cry.
"It's alright Tsubael..." Goes Azanael. Everyone sighs. Except Berkana.
She quiet, very quiet.
She shakes her head.
"What is she doing?" She goes, the question filled with disbelief.
X looks over at Berkana then back at Azanael and Tsubael.
They were embracing one another. X, having her Berkana, looks closely ahead.
Tsubael tightens her embrace on Azanael.
"Azanael? Do you remember what you told me, that day you denied us?"
Azanael blinked, why would she bring that dumb mistake of hers up here.
"Where i said, we're different worlds?" She went.
Tsubael nods. Then an aura started to appear.
Azanael blinked for a bit out of surprise. Then.
"YOU USELESS LESBIAN GET AWAY FROM HER!" Shouted Berkana.
Azanael jumps at the shout, then realized. She was in a bear hug type embrace!
"Tsubael?!" Goes Azanael.
A dark smirk is on Tsubael's face.
"You were right."
Soon a giga crush explosion commenced and blasts Azanael back, damaging her.
Everyone except Berkana stares in shock and horror.
"N... no.." Goes Mari.
"How can this be?" Goes Hagino.
X felt a pain inside, he needed to jump in, but he couldn't risk escalating the situation.
Otherwise, they might drive truly Tsubael away.
Azanael begun to cough blood as she tries to stand up. She watched as Tsubael laughed darkly.
"You were right, we are different. You are desperate, realizing no one will love you as much as Onomil and i do. You'd do whatever it takes to keep one under your finger, to hide your lack of self worth. By having someone by your side at the end of the day, you feel complete!" Goes Tsubael as she rushes for a left hook, she jumps back before connecting and laughs.
Azanael stares with sad eyes, and soon the charged bubble splash appears.
"HA, TRIED TO CATCH ME WITH THAT, LOOK AT YOU, DESPERATE BITCH HAHAHA! But unlike you, I have worth, I have been a loyal gunner and friend to commander Ekaril, Mari and her friends, even X and his. I fought using Blue against all of Shrivael to ensure Ekaril and Mari's play finished, I did my best, i was rewarded in the end, with my commander back. My friends happy. But..."
Tsubael begun to glow a flashing red.
"At the cost of having YOU as the one. TO BE MY LOVER. Hehehe HAHAHA, FATE IS A CRUEL MISTRESS, But now, I am free from her grasp, Free from you!"
Tsubael fires a shot that breaks the bubble barrier and stumbles Azanael.
"You say you LOVE ME!"
She fires again, getting a grunt of pain as a response from Azanael.
"Is it love when you leave me alone, waiting for your RETURN!"
"GAH!"
Azanael holds her right arm in pain.
"Is it love, when you allow for myself to be HURT!'
Azanael stumbles more.
"Is it love, when you are out DOING LORD KNOW'S WHAT!? IS IT LOVE WHEN YOU LIE TO ME, IS IT LOVE WHEN YOU ALLOW ME TO BE KIDNAPPED, IS IT LOVE WHEN YOU IGNORE ME, IS IT LOVE WHEN YOU HURT ME?!... Is it love?"
Tsubael stops and stands charging.
Azanael's on shaking legs now, looking at her, with arms to the side.
"IS IT LOVE, WHEN YOU SEE ME AS ONOMIL'S REPLACEMENT!" Goes Tsubael as she fires an.. Hadoken!
Azanael eyes widen as she takes the blast. No one could look at the scene with a straight face.
The blast broke Azanael's stance broken, her body weaken.
"I loved you Azanael, I took all this shit from you for you."
A red color appears on Tsubael's fist.
She starts running towards Azanael who looks dazed.
"AZANAEL MOVE!" Shouts X.
"NOW, NO LONGER WILL I SUFFER, SHRYOUKEN!" Shouts Tsubael as the uppercut connects and Azanael goes into the sky.
Everyone's face looked horrified. Then.
"NOW TO FINISH THIS, NOVA STRIKE!"
"AZANAEL!" Shouts X.
A yellow energy surrounds Tsubael and soon She charges and smashes into Azanael's center. The impact sends Azanael into the wall. Leaving a mark before crashing down.
Azanael was battered, and beaten. Tsubael stood as she watched her.
"Gggrr, i can't wait anymore X!" Goes Zero.
X stares at the scene ahead, he can't stand by anymore either.
Then motion was caught from where Azanael was, soon the woman started to stand.
"Hmph, i see. I suppose one more strike then."
"ENOUGH, TSUBAEL WAKE UP!" Shouted X. "SIGMA'S PLAYING WITH YOUR MIND, WE KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE, PLEASE!"
"SILENCE, YOU ARE DELAYING THE INEVITABLE, ONCE I'M DONE WITH HER, I'LL TAKE MY TIME TAKING YOU OUT!"
"Tsubael..." Goes Hagino.
"GGGRRR That's it!" Goes Zero.
Soon X started running past Zero. Zero soon got the picture and was right behind X.
"NOW THEN!"
"TSUBAEL! NO!" Goes X.
"NOVA! Goes Tsubael with jump.
"STRIKE!" Goes Both Tsubael and Azanael... Azanael?!
Everyone paused and looked ahead, they saw the 2 with their hands locked. The yellow energy dissipated and the landed.
Tsubael growled.
"THE HELL?! HOW ARE YOU STILL STAND-"
Soon a hard right connected with Tsubael.
Tsubael looks at Azanael with anger.
"Gggrr you-"
A left.
"How dare you... you call me desperate, you say all these things. I know that's not you Tsubael, Sigma has twisted you... But i'll get you back, EVEN IF I HAVE TO KNOCK YOU OUT!"
Another right.
"I told you everything, how i felt and more. I love you, i love you damn it. And when i leave, i do it so you can be SAFE!"
Another fist.
"When you get hurt, i do what i can to HEAL YOU! When i'm out in the world, you are ALWAYS ON MY MIND. I always try to be TRUTHFUL ESPECIALLY TO YOU! WHEN YOU GET KIDNAPPED, I ALWAYS RUSH TO SAVE YOU! I NEVER WANT TO HURT YOU!
Tsubael has started to stumble from the punches.
"And to use Onomil like that, say your her replacement. You're not a replacement, you are my TSUBAEL, MY HOME, AND I WILL ALWAYS FIGHT FOR YOU!"
Azanael rushes and right hooks Tsubael. She tries to fight back with a left but it gets blocked. Azanael kicks her in the side and Tsubael stumbles more. Tsubael tries to strike but they are blocked. After the 3rd strike from the left, Azanael swats it away and kicks her midsection. She lifts her knee up and goes for a hard hook with her right. And then left, and then right. To sum up, blood is seriously flying.
With Every strike Azanael gave, Tsubael felt it rock her to her core. Every. Single. One.
With tears in her eyes Azanael swung her fists. Tears coming with each hit for Tsubael. It hurts, it hurts. But it must be done.
Azanael soon delivered a right that dazed Tsubael to a standstill.
"And you wanna say desperate, you wanna say how being with me was a cost to you, you wanna say how I AM WORTHLESS... WELL YOU'RE WRONG, I FIGHT FOR ME, MY FRIENDS AND YOU TSUBAEL, AND I DO THESE THINGS CAUSE I CARE FOR YOU ALL."
Tsubael tries to regain her focus, Azanael eyes fixed onto her. "You... your life had no meaning to you after Onomil's death-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP!"
Tsubael stands shocked and angry.
"I've lost someone precious to me before, I won't lose another, I'm gonna get you back Tsubael, no matter what it takes... cause damn it... I'M A CRAZY BITCH IN LOVE!"
Tsubael stared daggers at Azanael, ready to attempt to take her head off. Azanael hands were starting to glow red.
"Enough of this, i'm tired of your talking!" Tsubael shouts as she runs at Azanael.
Azanael follow suit.
Tsubael lifts her right hand up, with blue energy surrounding it. She was going for the hadoken again. But this time however, she made a flaw in her attack.
And that would be met with a left fist into her chest. The impact cause Tsubael to freeze in place. By jumping up she left her self wide open.
Azanael soon shouts.
"SHIN!"
A right into Tsubael's gut, followed by a hard.
"SHYROUKEN!"
The impact from the move sent them into the air. Soon Azanael's aura came into life. Her right hand begun to turn blue, but soon instead a new color appeared. A more darkish purple.
The others watched but not showing a true reaction to the color change, except X. His face read confusion.
'What the, the energy, it changed.' He thought. He then looked at Azanael Her hair was standing up, her body glowing.
She took the hand and aimed it at Tsubael.
"T..t...TENMA HOU ZANKUU!" She practically screamed as she fired her blast at Tsubael. The purple blast hit hard on Tsubael causing an explosion once it hit the ground.
Everyone managed to keep their footing by a miracle. Soon once the explosion was over, Tsubael was on the ground as a mess. Azanael was flying, looking at where Tsubael was.
She slowly flew over to her, feeling weak.
'Tsubael...' She thought before falling to the ground.
"Azanael!" Shouted X and Hagino.
And that would be the last thing she would hear before passing out.

"There are powers deep within a person, a strength that can shape the lands of many. It can bring hope, it can bring peace. But it can also bring chaos. Such a power has been eluded from my grasp. But in time not only will I have it. But soon, the truth shall be reveal. X-"

A groan escaped her lips as she begun to open her eyes.
"Ah good, you're waking up." Goes a voice. The woman looked to see a certain reploid in an gothic Lolita outfit.
"Ber...Berkana?"
"Hmm, looks like you still have your memory. Good then i suppose you'll be glad to know Tsubael is alright."
Azanael looked around before spotting a sitting Tsubael, awake and not fighting. She's being treated by Alia.
Azanael quickly sprung to her feet, getting some protests from Berkana.
Plays: Dr Light's capsule - Mega man X4 ost (again another godly theme, my fav of the 1st 4)
"Tsubael." She called out.
The girl in question looked up and saw Azanael quickly embrace her.
Azanael couldn't hold her tears back as she hugged her.
"Tsubael, i'm sorry, i'm so sorry. I couldn't protect you..." Azanael said. " I'm sorry..."
Tsubael rubbed her back in a calming motion.
"It's not your fault, you came to get me didn't you? I'm the one who should be sorry."
"Tsubael..." Azanael says looking into her eyes.
"I couldn't be strong, Sigma got into my head and i couldn't control my self. I'm sorry Azanael."
Azanael shakes her head as tears started to fall from Tsubael.
"No, no, Tsubael don't cry. It's alright."
"No it's not, Sigma's a sick reploid who got into my head, he twisted my mind and took my will..." She goes.
"Like the virus..." Zero and X goes.
Zero soon brought his fists together.
"Alright, it's time for Sigma to pay!" Goes Zero.
"Wait a second." Goes Berkana, achieving everyone's look.
"You have no idea what Sigma's planning, remember last time. He was attempting a full scale assault with those Arume machines. Who knows what he's planning this time."
And with that sentence an question was formed.
"Well, since you were under him, maybe you do Berkana?" Goes Layer.
Soon a sad look was on Berkana's face.
"Yes and no."
"What?" Goes X and Zero.
"Whatever he's planning, he kept rather secret this time around. I'm not sure entirely but i do know it'll be more or less the same..."
"Really, isn't that pretty much the definition of insanity?" Goes Zero.
"Perhaps, but deception can be key to winning wars, maybe there's more to it, but i'm not sure. I'm sorry."
"It's alright love." Goes Layer as she hold Berkana by the waist.
"Well if that's the case. Miroko and Michiko should get back to Maverick Hunter." Goes Hagino.
"What?" the 2 go.
"She's right." Akane goes. "Miroko, you're pregnant, i wouldn't want to risk our child's life before it even begins. And Michiko, you got a bit of a brain. You could help the defense if need be."
Michiko soon took an argument stance.
"But what if things go bad, who will bail you guys out, it's not like Doppler's gonna pop up again." She said.
Yuuko places her hand on Michiko's shoulder.
"It's alright Michiko, we'll be fine." Goes Yuuko with a smiling face.
"But...i..."
A moment past before Michiko embraces her.
"You guys better come home safe this time."
A chuckle escapes Yuuko before she kisses her.
"I intent too."
Soon Miroko hugs Akane with a kiss on the cheek.
"You better come home, you got a baby to care for."
"Of course, i intent too." Akane says with a kiss to the lips.
The 2 girls give one last look at them before head off to exit.
Soon the remaining fighters looked, for an elevator. Or a door. Something.
"Ugh he's below us isn't he?" Goes Zero as he charges up his buster.
"Wait Zero." Goes Azanael. He looks at her as she looks at Tsubael. Who quickly caught on.
"Oh no, i'm not leaving."
"Tsubael."
"I was there for you before and i'll be here again, i won't let you face this without me, especially after what he forced me to do..."
Azanael saw the fire in Tsubael, she would not be swayed.
"Fine, let's go."
Zero fired and made a hole into the floor.
"Alright Here we go!"
Everyone was ready, Sigma was going down again. They glance at one another before going in. But there is still something, a thought on the mind of Hagino, X and Alia. That energy that Azanael formed, what was it. But there is a thought present in Alia's mind. Her energy has become slightly more weaker, and something, something that she's not payed any attention too. Something VERY important. But now's not the time, as they all prepare for the battle against Sigma, from the prequel to the sequel.
