Two more chapters in a day! Is it nap-time yet?

While writing these, the dumb red lines under all of the names of the warriors kept bothering me, so I decided to go through and get rid of them. While doing so, I found out that I called Eagletalon Eagleclaw in the entire first chapter, so that's fixed now! There were also a couple of other things, such as me not capitalizing the C in ThunderClan (My sister insisted that it was spelled like that and I corrected them, but apparently I didn't catch all of them) and one instance where I called Meadowfeather (Sunflight's mom) Meadowflower, although both are equally nice, in my opinion. I also found out while researching for the next chapter that Doestar was the name of Pinestar's leader, and that I also called Brokenflight's apprentice Doepaw. Oops.

I wrote Chapters 12 and 13 yesterday and the day before that, but these ones are hot off the press! Enjoy!

Silverpelt:

The poppy seeds that Hailfur gave them worked well; Silverpelt slept well.

However, they did not ward off the dreams.

In her dream, Sunflight would dump her for Moonheart, and all Silverpelt could do was watch. Thousands of Sunflights would then jump out from the shadows, and they would claw at her, desperately trying to draw blood while she tried to escape -

A voice whispered in her ear. "They're not real. Kill them."

Silverpelt gingerly lifted a paw and slashed at the nearest one, and it seemed to dissolve. Confident, she swiped and clawed her way through the clones. She looked around, but nobody was there. "Hello?"

"Enough time has been wasted," said another, a she-cat this time. "You must leave tonight for the mountains. May StarClan walk your path. Have faith."

Silverpelt woke again, this time to soft morning rays filtering through the cracks in the ceiling of the Warriors den. She shook Sunflight awake. "I had another dream," she whispered. "We leave tonight."

Sunflight:

Silverpelt led them across the border to RiverClan that night after taking traveling herbs from Hailfur and telling him to inform Dawnstar where they went. The moon was bright, and their long shadows swept over the river as they hopped across the stones over the river.

Moonheart was waiting with Rushwillow. The medicine cat looked at her somberly, and Moonheart licked her cheek. "Let's go," she said smiling at Sunflight.

Silverpelt frowned. She had been frowning a lot these days. Sunflight shrugged it off.

They followed the river out of the lake territories and soon, the mountain loomed before them. The path of Clan cats that had come before them was worn into the rock, and the three followed it.

It was slow and tiring, but Sunflight found joy in watching Moonheart. Her eyes seemed to glow in the moonlight, a beautiful shade of green. She had an odd expression on her face, something between a smile and a frown, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

Their pawsteps were almost drowned out by the waterfall that fed the river, but soon, as they walked away from it, following the path to what Silverpelt guessed was the other side of the mountain, even the roar of the water became a noise against the background.

"I think the path will circle around," commented Silverpelt when Sunflight noted this. "We'll probably hear it again, if that's the case."

They walked all night, following the path as it wound up the mountain. Finally, when the first rays of morning broke through the night sky, the waterfall came back into view again and they were standing on the peak of the mountain.

Moonheart:

The view was magnificent.

The three of them stood at the very top of the mountain watching the sunrise. Beautiful colors filled the sky, and Moonheart wished that Rushwillow could be here to see this. Both sisters would always get up at the crack of dawn, but the forest obscured the sunrise. Rushwillow would have loved the pretty colors that filled the sky.

She wondered what her sister was doing now.

A wide river blocked them from the other side. Silverpelt said something, but it was lost in the roar of the water.

"Help!"

"Did you hear that?" she asked Silverpelt. "It sounded like-"

"Help!" said a tiny voice.

Silverpelt's ears perked up. "That's a kit! We have to save it!"

The tiny bundle of fur was holding on to a rock, but obviously couldn't hold on for much longer. Moonheart's instincts kicked in, and she jumped.

The river almost swept her away instantly, and she realized that it was foolish of her. She fought against the current, trying to get to the mewling kit trying to stay on the rock. Eventually, she got close enough to grab it by the scruff of the neck. "Gotcha," she whispered triumphantly.

Then she felt her paws slip and the current smashed her into a rock. She blacked out.
