AN: I do not own MHA.

Let's all try to stop sipping the Mineta hate juice and drink some Mineta improve soda.

(U.A. Support Class)

Mei Hatsume normally didn't pay attention in class. Wasn't her fault that all the stuff being taught was for wannabe inventors. She was so pass the baby steps phases, she was an experienced car driver in invention levels. With a spotty record too! If that made sense to anyone.

The only thing she ever listened for was how much baby creating time she got a day. Now one could imagine how the hyperactive nutshell called Mei Hatsume reacted when she heard most of the support classes would be used for the students to create gadgets and nicknacks for the upcoming sports festival. And the workshop would be open on the weekends and even longer after class!

That was a little over a week go. And those days had been great. Power Loader told them they should be focused on creating for the thirteen days they had of extended baby creating time!

Mei only had a few days left for her babies and she was determined to make them the cutest! But first, she had to take her mandatory food break. Or lunch, as other people called it.

'But that doesn't mean I can't brainstorm some ideas while I consume nutrients!' She thought distractedly, bumping right into someone. "Hey! Watch where you going!"

The person spun around. "You bumped into me!"

"Yeah yeah. I need to get lunch quickly or Sensei won't let me make super cute babies!" Mei shouted.

"What?"

"My babies! I make them in the workshop!" Mei answered, rolling her eyes, "I'm a support student."

The blonde obstacle smiled. "So your babies are your inventions?"

Mei just nodded as she began to walk towards the cafeteria. The obstacle followed something she wasn't used to. Most of the other U.A. students ignored the support course, especially Mei and her eccentricities. Well not the Business course, Mei had to try really hard to run them off. 'Stubborn little buggers.'

"Why are you following me?" Mei asked after a minute of walking.

"You're different," the girl beside her answered, "And different is cool!"

"Tell that to everyone else," Mei responded.

"Forget them! They're just boring and you need to find people different like you!" The girl said, "Like me! Himiko Toga!"

"Mei Hatsume," the pink-haired girl said, "As much as I would like to continue this conversation, I got to eat so I can get back to the workshop!"

"A go-getter huh?" Toga said, before scribbling on some paper and thrusting it into Mei's hands, "I let you get back to work, but when you want to get wild and do something crazy, hit me up! I have some friends that are just like us!"

Mei just stared at the paper containing Toga's number, surprised by the blonde's actions. Never once had someone offered their phone number or to hangout. Most people found her too weird to handle. But not this girl. Mei felt a strange warmth in her chest as she headed to the lunch line. 'Maybe I'll call her this weekend or something. I can't get distracted from my babies!'

(U.A.)

Shinso Hitoshi had his back pressed against the training mats of U.A.'s many gyms. He was out of breath from his recent exercise, but the foot nudging his face wasn't going to let him catch a break. "Dude, get up! We still have an hour left."

The purple-haired brain haired washer glared at the much shorter purple-haired teen beside him. "Did I ever tell you how much I hate you right now?"

Mineta snorted. "Not my fault you are in such shit shape. You can't depend solely on your quirk for heroics."

Shinso grunted as Mineta continued. "Plus, how will you keep all the babes if you're a scrawny toothpick?"

Stars were in the sticky ball user's eyes at the thought of beautiful fangirls vying for his attention. Mineta saw the look on his friend's face, making the fervent dreams go away. "Your grouchy attitude might attract them, but they won't stay if you don't have the Chad body to match!"

Shinso rolled his eyes as he sat up. 'At least he has toned down his eccentricities. I really don't want to brainwash my only friend for being a mega pervert.'

When Shinso didn't make it into the hero class because of the combat biased entrance exam, he thought he could find camaraderie in the general ed classmates that also failed the hero entrance exam. And he was right until everyone found out about his quirk. No one wanted to talk to him anymore because of his so-called villainous quirk.

But not Mineta, the guy who all the girls hated for his perverted activities, still talked to Shinso. The mind controller might not have the same enthusiasm about the female body like Mineta, but the fact the little guy still chose to talk to him meant a lot to Shinso. And Shinso found Mineta to be actually a cool guy, when not focused on the female body. Mineta helped Shinso with schoolwork whenever the taller teen needed it. Mineta was ranked about sixth in the class while Shinso was in the lower half, so the taller teen accepted the help. Begrudgingly at first.

'And then there's the fact he's in much better shape than me. Who would have thought such a squirt was so fit and he's better at the heroics than am I,' Shinso thought, remembering how Mineta didn't make the cut by three points. And that was due to the shorter aspiring hero's meticulous planning being ruined by a blonde currently in heroics, 'He got that far by applying himself while all I did was cower in a corner for the whole test.'

"Hey man, no daydreaming about the Hero class and hot babes until after training!" Mineta shouted, snapping Shinso out of his thoughts, "You set the rules, you got to follow them!"

"They were for you, not me," the taller teen grumbled.

"Whatever man, we got some powerful competition in Class 1-A. You heard about U.S.J.!" Mineta reminded his friend.

"Ugh, don't remind me. I bet they are loving the attention," Shinso got up facing his friend, "I'm already mad at you for not letting me vent on them earlier when the other hero class had a pissing contest in the hallways with 1-A."

"I thought you were planning on being an underground hero. You can't paint a big target on your back!" Mineta told him, "You got to stay in the shadows and surprise them like a ninja."

Shinso chuckled as his friend made a bunch of obnoxious noises and erratic movements that ball haired teen believed to be martial arts. "I guess. What's next?"

The smile on Mineta's face let Shinso know he was in for a world of pain.

(Dagobah Beach)

Two figures sat on the sand of the formerly notoriously dirty beach. "Come on, Himi-hime. It's not that bad."

Himiko glared at Izuku. "You don't understand! If I can't do this before the sports festival, Baku will lord this over me forever!"

The green-haired teen sighed. "I thought we agreed to mostly improve our existing skills right now?"

"That's all fine and dandy for you babe and Baku, but I can only improve my physical capabilities so much in so little time!" Himiko explained, "And plus, I know you two buttfaces are creating an ace up y'all sleeves to up one another."

"When did I become a buttface?"

The blonde punched her man's cheek softly. "Babe, you know I think your butt is the cutest! So naturally, you are a super cute buttface!"

Whether it was from her words or the strangeness of what was spoken, Izuku's face flushed. "I feel much better now, Himi-hime."

The pseudo-vampire's eyes narrowed. "Are you making fun of me?"

Izuku gently removed her hand from his face before placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Of course not."

Himiko found herself blushing from her boyfriend's actions, making her want to snuggle up to the mop of green hair. 'Must resist the need for cuddling!'

"Izu-kun, we have to get back to training!"

Izuku looked at her questioningly. "You sure? We've been at it for two hours now."

The blonde's shoulders' slumped. "If only I had someone else's blood. No offense babe, but your quirk is kind of hard to control. That just shows how great you are though!"

Izuku smiled shyly. "Thank you. But I only got that good because of all the advice I received. Both of our quirks are blood-based, so your advice helped the most."

The blonde smiled back. "You think with what you just said it would be easy for me to replicate your quirk. But whenever I try, the feeling is hollow. Like I know the power is there, but what I can do feels like a terrible imitation of your quirk and that just throws my whole game off."

'That must be One for All she's talking about,' Izuku thought, recalling his mentor's words on how Inked and One for All were merging together, 'She probably won't be able to use my quirk then since Inked and One for All are becoming one entity and instead of two separate quirks. Something similar to Todoroki?'

"How did you feel when you used that ability similar to Uraraka's quirk?" Izuku asked.

"I would say weightless, but I was already under the effect of her quirk. So that might not be it," She answered.

"Maybe you can convince her to lend some blood for practice?" the teen asked hopefully.

"She's probably not going to do that..."

"Why? She seems like a nice person."

"Let's say some of the things I said and did during the extra training lesson might have made her dislike me," Himiko answered nervously, prodding her two fingers together. Izuku shook his head, knowing it was best not to ask what exactly happened.

"We could ask Kacchan." The blonde girl blew a raspberry at Izuku.

"His blood tastes nasty, it's extra salty!" Izuku rolled his eyes at his girlfriend's complaining. "And I can't ask Baku for help! He would just say I only won because he let me!"

"Sounds like a stupid bet."

"Don't call our bet stupid, Mister Let's see who wins the Spirts Festival!" Toga stood up and poked Izuku in his face.

"But Himi-hime, it's a battle to see which one of us is the manliest!" Izuku argued, stifling a laugh after the words came out of his mouth. He failed to contain it as Himiko began to giggle that turned into full-blown laughter.

The blonde wiped a tear from her eye. "That's it babe, you've been spending too much time with your underlings!"

"I never said those guys were my underlings," Izuku said.

The blonde flicked the bridge of his nose. "But you never said they weren't!"

Himiko stretched a bit. "Let's call it a day, Izu-kun."

"I'll walk you home," Izuku said, twirling his hand out extravagantly.

"Such a gentleman," Himiko said as she grabbed her hand.

"Always has been."

(Izuku's Room)

'I'm surprised you didn't say anything when All Might be revealed he used to be quirkless,' Izuku thought.

'I was too tired at the moment to ponder the Bright King's words,' Koda replied drowsily.

Izuku shifted on his bed. 'You've been like this since after U.S.J. Did that villain really do so much lasting damage?'

The teen shuddered at the memories of the unstoppable black monster and its master. He remembered his arm being shattered and the stabbing pain in his head as Oni fought Nomu. 'If All Might hadn't shown up, I'm sure none of us would have survived.'

'Yes, it was very fortunate he came, late as he was. Too busy using the rest of his precious time fighting villains that other heroes could have taken care of,' Koda grumbled.

The summoner sighed. 'You're never going to forgive him, are you?'

'No! He caused your attempt!'

'No, he was the last straw. Everyone else involved has to take as much as blame as All Might,' Izuku argued, 'But that's not what I wanted to talk about. What's up with you?'

'I do not know, Young Master. I feel like I'm slipping into something bright as the sun and threatening to consume. Every time I start to get away, some unknown vindictive force pulls me back in,' Koda answered.

Koda's words caused Tokoyami's face to appear in the young boy's mind. 'Can you remember any details?'

'Brother. Control,' the serpentine creature said, 'And Nine.'

'Someone spoke to you? Why didn't you tell me about this earlier?'

'I apologize, Young Master. I find it incredibly hard to focus after that happens,' the snake said somnolently.

'Another issue to pop up right before the festival, just my luck,' Midoriya grimaced.

'I apologize...'

'No need. It isn't your fault,' Master cut off familiar, 'I'm just a little miffed that I'm not making progress like everyone. Instead, I keep hitting roadblocks that aren't only hindering my progress, but also pushing me back!'

'I know you will overcome these difficulties, Young Master. The Bright King entrusted with a sacred power that has been passed down for generations,' Koda assured the boy, 'It is time for me to rest once again.'

'Thank you Koda,' the boy whispered, closing eyes to prepare for sleep.

(Toga's Room)

The eldest daughter sat by her lonesome in her room. She had just gotten off the phone with her boyfriend. Something to pass the loneliness of her household. The only other people in the house were a few maids.

"The life of a rich girl can be sad. I wonder if Momo feels like this," Toga said to herself as she flopped on the bed, "Doubt it since she's the start child if what my parents say is true."

Toga remembered all the times her parents would talk about the perfect heir of the Yaoyoruzu business was. Those talks were more directed at her than her younger siblings.

'None of them had behavioral problems, as Mom and Dad like to call it,' Toga thought to herself mirthlessly.

'Great, now I'm lonely and sad! Izu-kun and all the girls are asleep, so no one to cheer me up!' Himiko slumped into the bed, seeing the time was 11:30 p.m. She really wished her siblings lived in the manor with her instead of some fancy boarding school. 'It's for their future, they say. Mom and Dad still distrust me even though I've been doing so good for almost a year now!'

'I made it into freaking U.A. for fucking sakes! The best hero school in the world,' Her anger coming to the forefront.

"At least Izu-kun, Baku, and Mama Midoriya trust me," Toga let out a hollow laugh at the thought, 'Funny that people I met just under a year have more trust in me than my own family.'

Himiko jumped out of bed, taking a chest out from underneath her bed. She pulled out a blood vial, one that was half full. She was about to open it, not wanting to fall into despair. It was too dangerous. Her thirst got stronger, almost unbearable when she got like that. 'Izu-kun believes in me, the first person to do so. I have to prove he wasn't wrong to do so. I'm Toga Himiko and I will prove everyone wrong about me!'

Her resolve strengthened, she put away the blood vial. Her thirst was gone now and now she had a hunger for something else. Something sweet. Something considered normal.

AN: I not really satisfied with this chapter, especially considering how small it is and how long it took me to write. But it was necessary for plot advancement and propping!

And more Shimnso and Mineta friendship shown! They aren't going to be that prevalent in this fic beside the Sports Festival and that training battle between 1-A and 1-B. Might make a few scenes between those two arcs with them showing up here and there. When Shinso finally enters the hero course in canon, that's when our purple pair will become prevalent!
