Chapter 20 Killer

Ven's POV

I fell to the ground as tears fell from my eyes.

"Ventus", Chirithy said in concern. "Are you okay?! What's wrong?!"

"I...", I breathed out. "I..."

"Say it", Lauriam demanded with venom in his voice.

"I...", I breathed out as I looked at the girl. "I...I killed you."

"Yes", Lauriam said with venom in his voice. "You did, and now...you're going to pay."

With that...Lauriam summoned a Keyblade.

He was about to walked up to me, but was stopped by the girl.

"Strelitzia", he said in shock. "What is the meaning of this?"

"Big brother", the girl (who's name I now knew was Strelizia) started. "Please. Don't do it."

"Why not Strelitzia", Lauriam asked angrily. "He KILLED YOU! HE DESERVES IT!"

"No", Strelitzia yelled. "Nobody deserves to be killed!"

When Strelitzia said this, Lauriam looked at her angrily.

Then...he pushed her down, and charged at me!

However, before he could strike me...his Keyblade was blocked...by Strelitzia's.

"Strelitzia", Lauriam asked angrily. "What are you doing?"

"I won't let you do this big brother", Strelitzia stated. "I won't let you have blood on your hands!"

"I already have blood on my hands", Lauriam revealed. "I'm not who I used to be Strelitzia."

After Lauriam said this, he shoved Strelitzia out of the way!

Once again he tried to strike me, but before he could...Strelitzia wrapped her arms around me, and then...we were engulfed in light.

When the light disappeared...we found ourselves in a forest.

"Where are we", I asked in confusion before looking at Strelitzia. "What did you do?"

"I used a teleportation spell", Strelitzia revealed.

After she said this, I looked down sadly as tears began to well up in my eyes.

"Why", I asked. "Why did you save me?"

"It's like I said", Strelitzia started. "Nobody deserves to be killed."

After Strelitzia said this, I looked down sadly.

"I do."

"Ventus", Chirithy yelled. "Don't say that!"

"But it's true", I yelled.

"You still have your Chirithy", Strelitzia said getting my attention.

"Huh", I said in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Huh", Strelitzia said in confusion. "Nothing, it's just...I don't have my Chirithy anymore."

Hearing this caused me to look down sadly again.

"Because I killed them."

Saying this made Strelitzia be quiet for a moment.

"Why...", she started. "Why did you do it?"

"I don't remember", I revealed.

"You don't remember", Strelitzia asked in confusion.

"I don't remember anything of my past", I revealed. "I think that I'm from the age of fairytales, and I think that I got here on something called 'The Ark', but I don't remember anything!"

Hearing this made Strelitzia go quiet again.

Then...she did something that took me by surprise.

She stood up...and held out her hand.

"Well then", she started. "Let's find out the truth together."
