That morning, the members had already woke up to start on their day. Vector was at the desk reading newspaper with a cup of coffee on the table. Espio was busy cooking pancakes.

Charmy and Saffron were in Charmy's bedroom. Last night, both of them slept together. Saffron lifted her eyelids sleepily and sat up, she yawned and stretched her arms.

The girl looked around and found Charmy sitting at the desk reading a book.

"Good morning, Charmy." Saffron greeted with a smile.

Charmy looked over to her and smiled, "Morning, Saffron. Had a good night sleep?"

Saffron nodded, "Yep."

"Good for you then. You ready to meet Vector and Espio?" The boy asked, closing his book, placed it on the table and got off the chair.

"I think so." Saffron replied, getting off the bed.

"Don't worry, I'm sure they're happy to see you. Meanwhile, you can tell us what happened to Julie-Su." Charmy said, walking over to the door.

Saffron frowned, remembered that she had to leave her back at the castle.

Charmy opened the door as they both exited the room to the kitchen. Saffron, being a shy girl, hid behind Charmy.

Vector noticed him and smiled, "Good morning, Charmy."

Charmy smiled back, "Good morning, Vector."

Espio looked over to him and greeted, "Mornin', Charmy."

"Mornin', Espio." Charmy announced. "Vector, Espio. I would like to introduce you guys someone. A member that used to be part of the team."

Vector and Espio both looked at Charmy curiously. Saffron stepped into the room shyly. Vector's and Espio's jaw opened wide.

"SAFFRON!" Vector and Espio said, running over to her.

"Saffron! Are you okay?! What happened?! How did you get here?!" Vector questioned anxiously.

"Calm down, Vector. Don't ask too many questions yet she just got here." Espio said, then looked at Charmy.

"Charmy? Will you tell us about this?" The chameleon asked him.

Charmy nodded.

All of them went into the living room, Saffron sat beside Charmy and Vector sat beside Espio, facing them. It was silent until Vector started to speak.

"So? Will you guys tell us about this?" The crocodile asked.

"Well, it was night, I went out be-" Charmy was cut off when the crocodile spoke again.

"Wait, what? Why did you go out in the middle of night?!" Vector snapped, startling Saffron.

"Calm down, Vector. Let Charmy finish his story first." Espio said, Vector just groaned.

"O-Okay, so... it was night and I couldn't sleep. So, I went out to take a walk for a while. I was chilling at Green Hill when suddenly a few minutes later, I heard someone coming up behind me. I looked over to see who it was and of course, it was Saffron." Charmy explained, taking a glance at the girl beside him who was looking down on the ground.

Espio nodded, "I see. And Saffron? Will you tell us anything?"

Saffron shot up and stuttered, "O-Oh, yeah! I- uh.."

Charmy placed his hand on her shoulder gently and said, "It's okay. Just tell us."

The girl sighed, "Fine. Here goes nothing."

Saffron explained the team about everything. They were all mad as soon as they heard about Thrash but they frowned when Saffron told them that she had to leave her behind because she got captured by one of the guards. After she finished, they were all silent except for Saffron who sniffed and began to cry softly but Charmy is there to comfort her.

"I'm sorry," Saffron sniffed.

"Hey hey that's okay there's no need to apologise." Charmy assured, patting her back gently.

"That Thrash! I swear if he ever shows up I'll beat him the crap out of him!" Vector growled.

"Calm down, Vector. At least Saffron is okay and she's back to the team. Someday we will see Julie-Su again," assured Espio.

The crocodile sighed, "Alright, whatever. Let's just go eat our breakfast,"

All of them nodded and went to the kitchen to eat their breakfast, once they finished, Charmy helped Espio to clean the dishes while Vector was listening to music and Saffron watching the television in the living room.

When afternoon comes, Saffron and Charmy was in Charmy's bedroom. Charmy was reading a book and Saffron was sitting on the bed staring at him with a smile.

Charmy noticed her smiling and grinned, "Why are you looking at me?"

"O-Oh, sorry, it's nothing, I'm just bored that's all." Saffron stammered.

Charmy blinked. "Oh," then thought for awhile. "You wanna go outside and play?"

"Sure! Let's go!" Saffron said, jumping off the bed to the window as she opened it.

Saffron flew out the room through the window with Charmy following behind her. They flew around and found a field of colourful flowers. Saffron gasped and flew down towards the flowers, Charmy followed her.

The two of them landed on the ground and gazed at the flowers. Saffron looked at Charmy excitedly and said,

"You wanna pick those flowers, Charmy?"

The bee nodded, "Sure!"

They both began to pick up the flowers and collected them as many as they can. Charmy collected the nectars from the flowers while Saffron began pollinating other flowers.

The two of them were having a great fun. Suddenly, they heard a high-pitched voice coming from a distance. The voice was familiar to Charmy but to Saffron, it wasn't.

"Charmy!" The voice called out.

"Chao! Chao!" Another voice called out.

They looked over to see who it was, it was a rabbit with cinnamon fur with a red dress. And a Chao flying beside the rabbit. They had an excited smile on their face.

It was Cream the rabbit and Cheese the Chao.

"Charmy!" Cream called out.

"Chao! Chao!" Cheese squealed.

Charmy smiled, "Oh! Hey, Cream! Hey, Cheese!"

"Cream and Cheese?" Saffron blinked, staring at them.

Cream and Cheese ran up to him. They both missed Charmy very much.

"Hey, Cream! Hey, Cheese! What are you guys doing here?" Charmy asked.

"Oh! We were just wondering around and then saw you here!" Cream replied.

"Chao! Chao!" Cheese said.

Cream then noticed that Charmy wasn't alone. She saw a girl that was the same species of him with the same height standing and staring at them.

Cream blinked. "Charmy? Who is this?"

"Oh? Cream, Cheese. Meet my earliest and very best friend, Saffron." Charmy introduced her to them. Them turned back to Saffron, "And Saffron. Meet my best friends Cream and Cheese."

"Oh? Hello, Saffron. It's very nice to meet you." Cream greeted politely, bowing at her.

"O-Oh, hello Cream, it's a pleasure to meet you too." Saffron replied in a polite tone.

Cream looked at them, "What are you guys doing here, anyway?"

"Oh, we're just playing around collecting and pollinating some flowers," Charmy responded. "You wanna play with us?"

"Sure!" Cream replied, then came up with an idea. "Wanna play tag at the forest!"

"Sure thing!" The boy agreed.

"Chao! Chao!" Cheese said in excitement.

"How about you Saffron?" Cream asked.

"O-Oh! Sure, I-I mean, yeah!" Saffron said nervously, she was always a shy person.

"Good! Let's go now!" Charmy exclaimed as they all ran to the forest with Saffron following behind them.

Saffron wasn't sure who are they but she was sure that she's going to get along with them. They all started to play tag game and Saffron had so much fun. She felt better and got along with Cream and Cheese and she became best friend with them.

After minutes of playing, they all got tired and sat down on the ground while watching the pond in front of them.

"WHY DID YOU LET HER ESCAPE SO EASILY?!"

Meanwhile at Thrash's castle, Thrash, the king was enraged by the news of Saffron managed to escape with the help of Julie-Su, who was sent to the torture room to be punished for helping her.

The guards, that were tasked to watch the echidnas under the ground stood there in front of the king staring at the ground were shivering in fear. His voice was loud the whole people in the castle could hear it.

"Y-Your highness, w-we are very sorry." One of the guard said nervously.

"SORRY WON'T FIX ANYTHING!" The king snapped at the top of his lungs, scaring the guards even more.

Thrash was angered that Saffron managed to escape the kingdom but he was more angry that she managed to steal his Warp Ring, that Warp Ring was the final ring he had. The ring was very important for him especially for transportation.

Thrash sighed irritatedly and got off the chair. He told his guards to watch the echidnas which they did. Afterwards, he went to upstairs to the torture room, he could hear Julie's painful screaming and crying but as he got closer to the room, the yelling gets louder and louder.

Thrash burst into the room to see Julie-Su with his arms being hung with a chain and a guard standing beside her with a whip in his hand. He was whipping her brutally and she was covered with bruises with tears running down on her cheek.

Thrash commanded the guard to stop which he did. The king stepped closer to the echidna and grabbed her hair.

"Ouch! Ouch! Stop! That hurts!" Julie-Su cried out in pain.

Thrash smirked, "Listen here you little crap, I'm going to ask you, how did she get that ring?!"

"I don't know! I swear! She didn't tell me anything!"

"Oh yeah? We'll see about that!" Thrash said as he grabbed the whip from the guard's hand and began whipping her as hard as he could.

"No! Please, stop!" Julie screamed painfully but Thrash didn't listen to her and continued to whip her.

Julie felt more pain, she couldn't take it anymore. She doesn't know where Saffron is but she had no choice but to lie to the king. She just want the torture to stop.

"Please! I don't know anything! Just stop!" Julie cried out.

Thrash groaned and stopped, making a sharp glare at her.

"Fine then, but you will still receive your punishment.."

"But-"

"Just shut up!" He grunted, turning around, he gave back the whip to the guard and walked out the room. Not long after, the screaming pain from Julie-Su could be heard again but Thrash of course ignored.

Thrash went downstairs and shouted, "GUARDS!"

In less than a minute, a few guards entered the room and walked towards the king. The guards stopped and bowed at him and then one of them said,

"Yes, your highness?" One of the guard asked.

"I want you all to take care of this castle. I will be gone for a while. Do not let any echidnas escape," Thrash ordered. "If I found any echidnas escape your torture will be twice more brutal you hear me?"

The guards gulped and nodded in understood.

"Good," Thrash said, going upstairs to his bedroom, he packed up some stuffs and put it into his backpack as he wore it. Thrash went downstairs to the giant front door and opened it. Before the tasmanian devil could exit the castle he was stopped by one of the guards.

"Your highness! Where are you going?" One of the guard asked.

"I'm going to find some rings and create a portal," Thrash replied, but then he remembered his enemy that he fought in the past, who was also an echdina. The only echidna that he hated the most and the echidna that he didn't capture yet.

Of course, his name is Knuckles the echidna.

A sinister smile danced on his lips as he remembered the flashback where he fought Knuckles along with Sonic.

"I'm going to capture back Saffron, Sonic and that piece of crap Knuckles. And also the team and the others! Soon, they all will be my slaves and they will be under my control forever!" Thrash said, chuckling to himself.

He walked out the castle and closed the giant door behind him. Thrash walked away and promised himself to find rings, capture back Saffron and abduct the others.

Charmy and his friends are in a great danger.
