It is early morning at the Loud House, we see Lincoln and Lenington putting some finishing touches on...something that the camera refuses to show. Lincoln turns to us and begins to speak.
"You ever think about what's it like to grow up with a big family? My teacher sure is thinking about it. With ten sisters, it's just one word: Chaos!"
The camera finally reveals a diorama (imagine the original project but with Lenington face-palming his respirator in the middle of it all)."It took 3 weeks, 5 boxes of pasta, 2 and a fourth tubes of glue, and 29 popsicle sticks, but the centerpiece of my project is finally finished. It's the most accurate representation of the Loud Family. Making this thing is the cakewalk of the journey. Getting it to school in one piece? Sounds easy-peas, right? You would've been right if Lenington would just stop time and bring the thing over to the van but sadly, that is not the case." he said.
"Hey! I already told you the reason why I don't just stop time to help out in important situations like these. You'd never learn from these challenges if I did." Lenington interjected."Yeah, yeah. I know, I know. As I was saying, if you want to get everybody through the door in time, you need to get up early and plan ahead."
As soon as Lincoln finished his sentence, a tremor was felt if the water inside the glass beside them being disturbed was to be taken as proof."The hydra has awoken. Wish us luck."
Lincoln takes his diorama with Lenington right behind him. As soon as they go through the door, a bucket of water fell on Luan."Not today, disco lady!" went Lenington."We'll see about that. Pailure is not an option. Ahahahaha! Get it?" Luan guffawed at her own joke.
"How about we take it to the van later?" Lenington just nodded in agreement."Hit it!" he screamed and pointed to Luna, who began playing her 'axe' while Luan slinks back into her room, likely preparing another prank."It's mine!" Lola screamed."No, it's mine!" Lana shot back. Lenington walked up to them and cleared his throat. This gained the twin's attention and turned to the fancy boy, who swiped the dollar and gave them one each."Thanks, Lenington!" came the twins, Lenington just did a two-fingered salute and turned to Lincoln with Lucy behind the boy with an overbite."Good morning, Lincoln." greeted Lucy."Yah! Oh, good morning Lucy." Lincoln greeted back while holding his chest where his heart is below."I have a new poem. I need a word that rhymes with 'choose'. Have one?" Lucy asked.
"Hm, how about 'lose'?" suggested Lincoln."Thanks." and Lucy leaves. Lincoln sees Lily completely naked and holds out some clothes for her and vegans to put it on here."Lenington, think fast!" went Lynn and threw a football at him, who simply holds a hand out and catches it before throwing it back at the sporty sister."Nice catch and throw, bro." she complimented.
"Thanks, but you could use some work but it's OK I guess." Lynn wasn't pleased by this but chocked it up anyway. Knowing Lenington, she'd lose to Lenington on most sports or possibly any sports, but she'll be the judge of that. The door of Lori and Leni's room open to reveal the former on her phone, "OMG, Bobby. I literally had to call you right away. I am just so excited about the homecoming dance." she mused on the phone. Another bucket of water fell on Luan, Lenington made an "I'm watching you" gesture towards the comedienne."I'll get the drop on you, someday. Ahahahaha!" Luan said with a determined look before laughing at her own pun and changing a second time. Lori notices Lenington and Lincoln in front of her, "What do you two want?" she asks."I want you to haul your butt and get ready. We leave in ten." Lenington answered in a no-nonsense way."Watch your tone, twerp. And I can multi-task just fine." "You watch your tone, woman. You still haven't gotten on my good side." Lenington shot back, Lori just rolls her eyes at this and gets to work.
Leni walks by while blowing a bubblegum and tripped but was caught by Lenington."You alright, Leni?" asked Lincoln."Note to self: Don't walk while chewing gum."
"We're running out of time." stated Lincoln."I'll get the project." Lenington walks in to Lincoln's room and takes the project."Lenington, think fast!" came Lynn with a soccer ball which she kicks at Lenington. Time seemed to slow down as the ball headed to the project, crisis was averted though as the masked boy booty-kicked the ball back at Lynn."Phew." was Lincoln's reaction."Let's get that downstairs now, shall we?" Lenington just nodded."Run for it! She's gonna blow!" Lisa came in with a flask emitting steam."Or not." Lincoln pushed Lenington back to his room and came with a dropper and dropped the content into the substance, stopping the smoke."Phew. Lisa, you're always forgetting you dinitrotoluene." he remarked."Silly me, you have my gratitude." Lisa then goes back to her room, the flask exploding."I LIVE!" she screamed.
"AYYYEEEEE! LUCHA LIBRE!" Lynn screamed while wearing a Lucha Libre masks as she leaps out of her room and crashes down the stairs."Todo bien (all good)" she groaned out. Lily waddles by without her pants, "Here's your pants Lily." Lincoln said as he holds up a pair of pants, the pants disappeared and reappeared already on Lily.
The twins are arguing on who goes to the bathroom first."I was here first!" came Lola."No, me!" came Lana."Oh no, you weren't!" "Oh no, you weren't. It was me!"
"That's what you always say!" Lola shot back."No! You do!" Lana shot back. Lincoln smirks and puts on some roller skates before rolling to the bathroom."Hey! No cutting!" the twins screeched out. Lincoln circles them while giving them their toothbrush and putting some toothpaste on them before skating away."Thanks Lincoln!"
Lincoln tosses the toothpaste to where it belongs."Has anyone seen my zit cream anywhere?" asked Leni. Lincoln hands it to her, "Thanks!". Lori walks by, "I literally found the cutest dress to wear." she said. Lincoln was annoyed by her lack of punctuality, Lenington also look annoyed under his headpiece but due to her incorrect usage of the word 'literally'. Lucy comes to them "Any word that rhymes with stuck?" "Luck." Lincoln replied."How do you stop a rhino from charging?" Luan asks."Take away it's credit card." Lincoln replies and Luan laughs. Lincoln passes by Lisa solving for X on the wall while Lenington approaches. Lenington burns the writings off and sprays the wall then wipes it clean. Lisa looks at Lenington with an annoyed feature, the fancy boy just shooks his head."Same! Blame! Game! Fame!" went Lincoln as he passes by Lucy."Where the heck are my roller skates!?" screamed out Lynn, Lincoln skates takes them off and gives them to her."Hold on. There are no roller skates in field hockey." Lincoln remarks."With how I play, there is." Lynn argued back.
Lily crawls by, Lincoln grabs her."Got you!"
Lincoln looks at us, "Phase one of Operation Get Ready For School and Into the Car on Time is complete. Now comes phase two: breakfast."
Luna finishes her music "THANK YOU!!!"
An egg falls into a skillet and the camera zooms out to reveal Lincoln cooking. He turns to us and begins speaking ."Cooking is usually Dad's specialty, but I told him to take a break. This is so that my plan can work better."
He turned behind to see the sisters and Lenington lined up between him and began serving."Egg-whites for Leni, sunny-side up for Luna, gooey scrambled with tomato slices for Lenington, funny-side up for Luan..."
"Great yolk. Ahahahaha!" "...scrambled for Lynn, fried for Lisa, deviled eggs for you two..." Lori walks to him, still on her phone with a plate on her other hand. "And I picked the perfect tux for you to wear, Bobby." Lincoln felt an eye twitching at the sight before him, "Tuxedo? You better not be mentioning my tuxedoes!" came Lenington's voice from the dining table."Don't worry, it's not yours!" replied Lori, Lenington didn't respond to this."...hard-boiled for Lori..."
He went to Lily's plate on her high chair, "...extra goo goo gooey for Lily." Lily giggled at the sight of her favourite egg cooking. Lucy walks up to him with her plate, "And for Lucy, burnt." "My heart would be swelling if I had one." Lucy quoted.
After everyone finished their breakfast, they started heading for the door."All right, then. Everyone is dressed and fed, backpack on our packs and food is packed for our day. All we need now is Lori." Lincoln monologues and comes Lori twirling the keys for then van, still on the phone *sigh*. Even I can't stand playing on the laptop or phone for this long...moving on!"No, not puke. Puce, it's like reddish brown, Bobby."
"Lenington, get down here! Don't forget our project!" Lincoln yelled upstairs."Don't worry! I got it!" replied Lenington as he comes into view. He stepped on Geo's hamster ball "WOAH!" and began rolling down the stares. Lincoln gasped and Lenington stopped rolling down in front of the door. They released the breath of air they've been holding.
"Is everyone ready to go? Time for phase four, out of the door." Lincoln turns to us."Like I said, if you want to get all of your siblings through the door on time, you need a plan."
The camera zooms out to reveal Lori looking angry."Fine! If you don't want to wear the tux, then i don't want to go to the dance! In fact, I don't want to go to school!" she screamed in frustration as she goes upstairs.
The sisters began heading to the stairs but was stopped by Lenington."No one goes upstairs or anywhere! You are all staying here. I'll fix this." he turns to Lincoln."See if you can get her to drive us." The latter nods and heads upstairs.
"Lori, wait! You're the only one who can drive us!" "GET MOM THEN!" Lori replies angrily."But she's already left!"
A scream comes from downstairs."I'M BLUE! WHY IS MY SKIN BLUE!?" Leni screamed as she looks at her skin."Actually, that's the pale shade of cerulean. But why split hairs?" Lisa replies."Alright, Lisa, what did you do this time?" Lenington asks."I switched Leni's blemish cream with an experimental skin pigmentation ointment that I've been working on, in secret." she replied. Leni starts shaking."And why, pray tell, would you want to do that?" "Because she wouldn't accept if I asked her."
"Make a cure right now or else." Lenington ordered with a malicious tone and his index finger crackling with dark lightning and pointing at her. Lisa gulped and ran upstairs to work on the cure. Lincoln is starting to lose his cool now, "Can't things go my way for once?" he asks to no one in particular."You can't always get what you want, bro." Luna answered."Now that's hypocritical." Lenington voiced out. Luna looked at him with a look that said 'what?'."You guys always get what you want with him so that's hypocritical of you to say 'you can't always get what you want.'."
The sisters present looked down in shame while Lincoln had a grateful look "Your welcome." Lenington said to the silent thank you of his only brother. Lucy sneaks behind Lincoln again, "I have finished my poem. It's called 'Failure."
Lincoln yelped in surprise, "Lucy, i really don't wa-" he was interrupted by the goth girl.
Failure. It is not an option, yet it's something you choose. The man with the plan is destined to lose.
Lily comes walking by, naked."Lily! Where are your clothes and diaper?" Lily walks behind the sofa while being chased by Lincoln, who steps on something disgusting."I found the diaper." he said while nauseated, Lenington is visibly irked by this and puts on the clothes on Lily without her knowing it via guess what. Lincoln goes upstairs for a fresh pair of shoes. Lucy just kept on reading.
Failure. You know there is no one else to blame. For the choices you make are always the same.
Lenington knocked on Lori's door, "Come on, woman! Get your behind on that driver's seat and drive us to the fricking school, already!" he screamed. Lori just told Lenington to screw off.
Downstairs, the twins are arguing once again."The peanut butter sandwich is mine!" Lola insisted before tugging on the sandwich with peanut butter."No, it's mine!" Lana shot back."No!"
"We don't have time for this." Lenington said before going downstairs."You have the jelly sandwich, I get the peanut butter sandwich." Lola argued, Lana just repeating what her polar twin said. Lenington takes the sandwiches from them, earning him a 'Hey!' from the twins. Lenington ignores them and switched a loaf with the other so they both get peanut butter-jelly sandwiches."Thanks, Lenington!" "Just get to the car."
Lincoln arrives downstairs and picks up the diorama. Lisa also comes down and meets with Lenington with the 'cure'."Here."
She hands the bottle to Lenington who was about to give it Leni but pulled back."Wait a sec'." he poured the bottle on to Walt, who puffs up like a pufferfish. Lenington gave a mild electrocution to the girl genius before doing a 'hand it over' gesture."Fine, hairless apes: two. Science: zero." she muttered to herself. Lenington gave the antidote to Leni, who squeals in delight before going upstairs to use it. Lincoln smiles but not for long as Lucy reads her poem more to him.
Failure. It's all your fault, this streak of bad luck. No escape from this cycle in which you are stuck.
"Stop, Lucy. Just stop. Here, I made a poem, too. It's called 'Lucy'." Lincoln cleared his throat before reciting.
Dark as night, hair like tar. Take your spooky self to the car."Lucy laments at the 'poetic brilliance', as she calls it, of her brother before complying. Lynn comes skating into the two boys, "Think fast!"
Lenington pushed Lincoln aside and made a sturdy string ramp leading to a seat of the van for Lynn."Eh problemo." Lenington quoted with his hands on his side. You don't even need to remove Lenington's breathing aid to see the cheesy Cheshire grin plastered to his face, you can already feel it.
He takes back the string ramp into his body."Hey! Where is my field hockey stick!? I have roller Derby today!" Lynn screamed from the van."Already at the van!" Lenington replied. Leni came back with her skin normal once again."Oh, it feels good to look perfect and beautiful again." she muses. As she heads to the van, Lenington stomped his foot. As he did that action, a string board covers Leni, acting as a shield against the water from above. Luan growls at the constant thwarting of her pranks, "Come on, bro. I thought we were pails. Ahahahaha. Get it, anyone?" she laughs before getting electrocuted like Lisa.
Lincoln turns to his brother with a worried expression, "What about Lori? How are we gonna get her behind the wheel?"
Lenington just chuckles, dials Lori's number on the telephone removes his respirator, straps his nose tube on and clears his throat."Hello?" Lori's voice came from the phone. In a perfect imitation of Bobby's voice, the fancy boy spoke."Babe. I've been thinking about the tuxedo and I wanted to say sorry and I will wear it for you." a squeal was heard from the telephone. Lori comes down the stairs with a smile on her face, Lenington quickly hanged up and strapped his respirator back on."Would you two hurry up? You two are always so slow to get to the van, ugh." Lori remarked and picks up Lily before going to the van."No u!" Lenington shot at her before he disappeared and reappeared on a seat in the van. Lincoln smiles, knowing everything is in place. He grabs his project and heads out to see Luna getting some help from a burly looking man loading her speakers into the van.
"Luna, what's all this and who is he?" he asked."It's my gear for my rehearsal later, and him? He's Chunk, my roadie." the rocker girl answered while Chunk tips his hat to Lincoln."Oh no. He's not a part of the plan. You, out. I'll take care of this."
Chunk walks away, upset. Lincoln loads Luna's gear into the van before he sits at the front."Mission accomplished. And with 10 minutes to spare. A Loud House first, might I add."
As Lori starts the car, Luan laughs. Lincoln realises something as Lori is about to drive backwards."STOP!" he screamed out. Lori stops and Lincoln runs out in panic with Lenington looking back to see what it was about. Thankfully, the project is safe so he breathe out a sigh of relief. Relief that didn't last long as he steps on one of Lynn's roller skates and slips.
The project flies into the air before descending in slow motion."NOOOOOOO!!!/ZA WARU-"
Too late as the project smashes the ground, falling into pieces."Ah, frick." Lincoln muttered under his breath. Lincoln begins lamenting, "3 weeks worth of work, all ruined just like that."
The sisters and brother come by his side, Lori speaks up."If you're done moping, maybe we can help." "11 heads are better than 2, after all." Lynn added."Just try not lose yours. Ahahahaha." Luan jokes, her siblings looked at her in disgust before turning back to subject at hand.
"Everything's going to be alright, little bro." Luna reassured. Lincoln sniffles before saying, "Really? You guys will help?" "Duh! It's what family is for." the twins replied."But me and Lenington are supposed to give this report in ten minutes and the thing is all ruined. What can we do?" Lincoln asks.
The sisters smiled while the eye socket looking part on Lenington's respirator glowed a colorless glow.
The scene cuts to Lincoln, giving his report.
In conclusion, in my family, every day is a challenge. But you can be sure that when I need them, my sisters and brother will always be there for me. All of them. The camera zooms out to reveal all the sisters and brother standing completely still, imitating the project.
And sure, life in the Loud House can be summed up in one word: chaos. But I love that chaos. And I wouldn't trade it for the world.Mrs. Johnson applauds him."Fantastic. Simply fantastic. A for you two." she said. She nearly got drenched if it weren't for Lenington throwing a sizable rock at the water bucket above her in a way that redirected the falling bucket to land and stand perfectly on it's bottom. Luan growls at Lenington "Oh give me a break!" she said in exasperation, not even finding it within her to crack a pun. Lenington just tugged her flower downwards and released it so the comedy material smacks her chin.
"Is it like this at your house, Lincoln, Lenington?" Mrs. Johnson asks."Definitely." The two boys answered.
How was it? Like it, love it or hate it? Tell me by reviewing.
