GOTHAM CITY-NOV 21-02.00 A..M

"Got him on my position." Batman said. He was following the car.

"Heading your way now." Wonder Woman said. In the car they had a three-year old girl as hostage.

"Approach with causation. We can't risk girl's life." Batman said.

"Hera Bruce I'm not a rookie calm down." Wonder Woman said. She knew he meant good but sometimes he forgot that she is fully capable of taking care of a situation like this.

"I know I know. Sorry. Force of habit." Batman said as he keep following the car.

Diana suddenly appeared above the car. Batman was getting close too.

"They are on our tail." Man said. Girl was crying.

"Shut this kid up." Driver said.

"You expecting me to hit a little girl." Man said that holding the girl in his lap.

"WHAT NO. Don't hit her idiot." Driver said. A sound interrupted them. Someone was on the roof of the car. Driver pulled it out a gun and start shooting to top.

"Diana look out they are shooting." Batman said.

"Yeah I can see that." Wonder Woman said. "Wait I have an idea." She jumped off and got back to back of the car. She hold the car and landed. She was trying stop the car by using friction. Driver hit the gas pedal harder but it was useless. Diana was holding the car with very strong grip. Batman stopped the Bat-Cycle right next to car.

"License please." He said and threw batarang to driver. It got stabbed to his hand. Driver screamed.

"Now if none of you want that,leave the car and hand the girl to us." Batman said. Everyone immediately did what he said. Diana released the car.

"See boys you can be nice if you want to." Diana said as she picked up the girl. "Don't cry sweetie everything will be alright."

"Let's tie you boys up." Batman said and start tie the men. Diana tapped her commlink.

"Gordon we have the kidnapped girl and kidnappers." She said. She was patting the back of girl. When Batman came close to Diana girl burried her face to neck of Diana.

"Hey there princess I won't hurt you. I'm one of the good guys." Batman said.

Girl slowly turned to him. "You are?" She asked with dry tears in her eyes.

"Yeah like Superman. I'm much cooler though." Batman said.

Little girl laughed. Diana looked at Bruce with appreciation in her eyes. This was the guy that papers named as cold and emotionless. They'd be surprised by how he approached to a three-year girl.

"See I made you laugh. Now police will come and get you back to your mom." Batman said.

"I don't want the bad guys escape." Girl said.

"They won't escape. You have our words." Wonder Woman said.

"Yeah your big sister here crashed their cars very hard." Batman said.

After a two or one minute later police has arrived to scene. They took the girl to car. Before her leave girl gave a kiss to Diana and Bruce. Gordon approached them as he light his cigarette.

"Good Job." He simply said.

"What's latest?" Batman asked. Ignoring the compliment.

"Nothing much. Everything have been quiet since the arrest of Joker." Gordon said.

"Yeah that's no good." Wonder Woman said.

"I'm afraid she is right. Quiet is no sign of good." Batman said.

"City is waiting for another freak to come out from nowhere." Gordon said.

"How's the things in the Arkham?" Batman asked.

"Thanks to Wayne boy we have a high security cell for Joker." Gordon said.

"Good to know we are not the only who trying to make a difference." Batman said but he was talking about himself. Gordon was about make his exit but a strong roar interrupted them. It came from somewhere up.

"What was that?" Gordon said as he reach out for his gun.

"End of the quiet. Get everyone to safety." Wonder Woman said. Gordon nodded and ran to his car.

"Let's get to high ground." Batman said.

"Yeah so I can say I have the high ground." Wonder Woman said with a grin on her face.

"You are unbelievable princess." Batman said as he fired his grapple gun.

"And that's why you love me." Wonder Woman said and followed him.

They landed on some random roof. They search their surroundings for clues. That roar was something different. Not just a normal street animal roar.

"I don't see anything." Diana said.

"Well me too but that doesn't mean it's not still here." Batman said. He was on guard. He ran and jumped towards to other roof. Diana did the same but she flew.

"From the sound of it,I think we are facing another animal creature." Wonder Woman said. She was expecting something like Croc. And hopefully it doesn't use the sewers.

"It's possible." Batman said. After things he saw nothing can surprise him.

They moved to another roof.

"Diana fly and take a quick look." Batman said.

"Yes sir." Diana said and fly to the sky.

Diana peeked through the clouds real quick but she couldn't find anything. She was just about the give up and land but something passed her real fast. She tapped her commlink.

"I got it." Diana said as she follow it.

"I see you. Follow it." Batman said as he start moving. He was gonna follow them from roofs.

Diana was going fast because that thing was fast too.

"Do you know what it is?" Batman said through commlink.

"I only can see its wings. It's all dark." She said.

"So it has wings." Batman said as he jumped to another roof.

"I'm getting close." Diana said. She was getting close for sure because she could see the creature more clear.

"Great Hera." She said.

"What?" Batman asked.

"It's a giant bat. I mean like a real bat." Wonder Woman said.

"My impersonator took it very serious then." Batman said. He grappled to more high point and using his grapple launch he flew to sky.

Diana got close and tried to hold it's wing but creature hit Diana with his claw.

"Ouch." She said. Batman saw the creature from above and grapple to him. Creature screamed because the tip of the grapple gun was sharp. Batman pulled himself up and find himself on the creature. He grabbed his neck.

"Hello There." Batman said. Creature just roared. "You were supposed the say General Batman dude."

Diana following them real close. Batman pulled injector from his belt and draw blood from creature. Creature shaked itself and tried to make Batman lose his grip. It kinda worked because Batman released one of his hands from neck of the giant bat.

"Batman." Wonder Woman said in a worried tone.

"I'm okay." Batman said but as soon as he said that giant bat took a sharp turn and made Batman lose his grip. He start falling really fast. Diana immediately followed Batman. She was about the catch him but suddenly someone else caught him. A girl in a mask landed to a roof with Batman in her arms. Diana landed as well.

"Hey." Girl said.

Batman jumped off from her arms. "You must be Hawkgirl." He said.

"How did you know?" She asked.

"I mean it's kinda obvious." Diana said as she pointed at her wings.

"What are you doing in Gotham?" Batman asked.

"Well Superman told me about you so I wanted see myself if you guys are real or not." Hawkgirl said.

"We are real when it's usefull. Plus don't you watch TV cause thanks to Riddler we were on it." Batman said.

"I don't believe everything on the tv." Hawkgirl said.

"Well you saw us now you may leave." Wonder Woman said.

"I wanna help with that Bat." Hawkgirl said.

"Gotham is our territory. We'll handle it." Batman said.

"C'mon Batman. Let me help. I can prove you that I'm an ally." Hawkgirl said.

Batman looked at his partner. She slowly nodded.

"Fine you can stay and help us. Wonder Woman a word please." Batman said and walked away. Diana followed her boyfriend.

"What's up?" She asked.

"We can't go back to cave for analysis." Batman said.

"Yeah you are right. We can't give away our base's location." She agreed. "But that's our only research station."

"That's what you think." Batman said.

OLD TRAIN STATION-NOV 21-02.30 A.M

"Why are we here?" Hawkgirl asked.

"To analyse the blood of that giant bat." Batman said.

"But this is an station." Wonder Woman said. It was all ruin and old train parts. But one carriage was solid.

"Yes and it's abandoned. That's why I built a mini lab here." Batman said as he tapped his gauntlet. That one carriage start turning into a lab.

"Wow just wow." Hawkgirl said.

"How come I don't know anything about this?" Wonder Woman asked. She wondered what others secrets he kept to himself.

"You never asked." Batman said calmly and walked into carriage.

Girls walked in as well. It was small but enough to make research. And equipped with high tech. Batman carefully took the blood sample from his belt and put it into log next to computer.

"It should take some time." He said and turned to Hawkgirl. "So what's your deal?"

"What do you mean?" She asked back.

"Superman said you were an alien like him." Wonder Woman said.

"Oh yeah couple years ago my ship landed to earth by accident." Hawkgirl said.

"Which planet you are coming from?" Batman asked.

"Thanagar." She said.

"It really is a weird name." Batman said.

"Why are you helping people with your powers?" Wonder Woman asked. They were trying to figure out if she's can be trusted or not.

"At first I laid low. Cause I knew I was different. A year ago I saw Superman on tv. He was like me you know,He had powers and people love him so I figured I could use my powers to help people as well." Hawkgirl said. "Plus after a while I heard about you two but I didn't believe at first."

"Why?" Batman asked. He was curious.

"You sounded too perfect to be real." Hawkgirl. "Superman is cool but what you guys are facing here is real challenge."

"Tell me about it." Wonder Woman said. "If you are being honest, it is understandable. When I came first here I was lost too. But fortunately he found me and taught me the world around us."

"It's not a big deal. I just did the right thing." Batman calmly said.

"You have a cool boyfriend." Hawkgirl said.

"How could you know that we are in a relationship?" Wonder Woman asked.

"C'mon girl anyone can tell it." Hawkgirl said. "I saw you taking down that car. It was solid team work."

"So you were the one who following us." Batman said.

"You knew?" Hawkgirl asked in disbelief.

"He's Batman." Wonder Woman said with a grin.

Computer bleeped. Scan was done. Batman pulled out the results.

"It's highly mutated but this blood belongs to Dr.Kirk Langstorm." He said. Batman tapped his commlink.

"Alfred search for any properties belongs to Kirk Langstorm." Batman said.

"One moment sir. There it is. Dr.Langstorm and his wife own a lab near the Chinatown." Alfred said.

"We are on our way now. Take a look at the blood sample I've just send to computer and try to make an antidote." Batman said.

"Right you are sir but I must say how you managed to get this sample is beyond me." Alfred said.

"I have things up in my sleeve." Batman said and ended the call.

"So what now?" Wonder Woman asked.

"We will go to lab and learn why he turned into that creature." Batman said.

"A bat vs a real bat." Hawkgirl said.

"Exactly." Batman said and walked away.

"Is he always like this? You know cool but a little bit annoying." Hawkgirl said.

"He's way more annoying actually. I think he's in a good mood today." Wonder Woman said.

"I wonder why?" Hawkgirl said.

Diana winked at her and followed her boyfriend.

"Ohh I get it."

KIRK'S LAB- NOV 21- 03.00 A.M

Trio walked in the lab. It was all teared up. Claw prints everywhere and a body on the floor. Batman approached to body and crouched next to it. He activated his detective mode and scan the body.

"It's his wife. Francine Langstorm. Kirk had no idea what he was doing." Batman said.

"Poor man he killed his own wife without knowing it." Wonder Woman said. There was blood all over the place and a huge machine in center of it.

"What's this?" Hawkgirl said as she pointed at the machine.

"It must be the transforming machine that he used." Batman said and take a look at the machine.

"But why would someone willingly turn themself into a bat?" Wonder Woman asked.

"I think I know the answer." Hawkgirl said. She was holding a note. "He was about the be deaf. Bats have outstanding hearing abilities. So he tried to use it on himself."

Batman was impressed. "Good Job. You've got some skills." He said.

"Thanks. I was going to be a detective back in my planet." Hawkgirl said.

"And a good one." Batman said and start looking at Kirk's computer.

"He complimented at you. You really got it." Wonder Woman said.

Hawkgirl felt proud don't know why but she did. "I take it's a rare thing."

"Oh Hera. This man doesn't compliment at all." Wonder Woman said.

"It's not true. I compliment you all the time." Batman said as he tapped the buttons on the keyboard.

"Yeah but it's me. You can't resist me at all." Wonder Woman said with a smile.

Hawkgirl was kinda jealous by their relationship. It was perfect. She wondered if she's gonna have someone in her life.

"Can't argue with that." Batman said. Batman searched the files in the computer. "Mixing your DNA with vampire bat DNA? That was never gonna end well."

"So while he was trying to cure his deaf. He turned himself into a bat by accident." Wonder Woman said.

"You got it right Sherlock." Batman said.

"How are we gonna find him though?" Hawkgirl asked.

"You two can fly. You will patrol from sky while I search for bat frequency. His screams will take us to him." Batman said.

"What a great way to make friends right?" Hawkgirl asked as she chuckled.

"Welcome to Gotham Hawkgirl." Batman said.

"This place really growing on me." Hawkgirl said.

"Wait until I tell you what we saw in past." Wonder Woman said.

"I've read newspaper. Everything start with that Croc thing right?" Hawkgirl asked.

"Unfortunately yes. It was so gross." Wonder Woman said.

"You are exaggerating. We have dived into that water in second time." Batman said.

"Wow you guys are really doing this job very differently." Hawkgirl said.

"Well sometimes you have to be gross." Batman said. Alfred called them. "Alfred."

"Sir I've managed to make an antidote." He said.

"Good Job Alfred. Send it to my location." Batman said.

"Right away sir." Alfred said and ended the call.

"Let's go." Batman said.

GOTHAM CITY-NOV 21- 03.20 A.M

Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman were flying above the city while Batman patrolling with his motorcycle.

"Gordon. We are gonna cure the creature. I need you to prep the isolation chamber." Batman said.

"Why are we arresting him?" Gordon asked.

"He killed his wife and plus he won't be stable." Batman said. "Take him to court maybe they will release him for not being in control."

"I'm on it." Gordon said and ended the call.

Scanner in the Bat-Cycle was also scanning the city for scream. But it was programmed to scan only Bat sound.

"Do you have anything?" Wonder Woman asked through commlink.

"Not yet. You?" Batman said.

"Nada. Maybe Hawkgirl got something." Wonder Woman said.

"So what's your first impression on her?" Batman asked.

"She seems lovely. We could use her help if we ever need it." Wonder Woman said.

"Believe me princess we will." Batman said.

While they were talking scanner picked up something. "I got a signal. Follow my location." Batman said.

"Okay. I'll pick up Hawkgirl and come." Wonder Woman said and ended the call.

Batman was going faster now. He couldn't lose the signal. Man-Bat didn't attack anyone well not yet. Man-Bat was what Diana called him. She really good at picking names. Batman passed through couple of streets and avenues. Finally he spotted the Man-Bat above him. He tapped his commlink.

"I found him. Near the Falcone shipping yard." Batman said.

"We are on our way." Wonder Woman said.

"Hurry up. I will ran out of roads." Batman said. Batman was going right to the sea. "Hope you can make it in time princess." Batman set the Bat-Cycle on autopilot and jumped towards to sea but before he fell into water Wonder Woman caught him in the air.

"Welcome aboard sir. Thanks for choosing Wonder Woman Airlines." She said with a smile.

"Ha Ha. Get me close." Batman said. "Hawkgirl go and stall him."

"On it." She said and speed up.

Hawkgirl got close and swing her mace to Man-Bat. Man-Bat noticed it of course and changed his route. Hawkgirl took the sharp turn a well after her Diana did the same.

"I should've bring a bag." Batman said.

"Don't throw up. Your mouth part is close." Wonder Woman said and smirked.

"Don't you say." Batman said. "Can you go any faster?"

"You can take it?" Wonder Woman said and speed up.

"That's what I said last night." Batman said and released himself. He start gliding towards to Man-Bat. Hawkgirl was stalling him by swing her mace to air so he could get distracted. Everyone was flying now. Batman was gettin close. All he need to do is inject the antidote to him and it will be over. For them at least. For Kirk it was starting now. Batman finally landed on Man-Bat.

"It's me again." He said and hold his wings. Man-Bat was going right through to a building.

"Fly up dude. Fly up." Batman said. They were about the hit but Man-Bat suddenly start diving. "That's not up." Batman said. He was trying get the injector from his belt. Hawkgirl got close to Man-Bat and hold his head.

"Quick take the injector." She said. Batman released one of his hand and took the injector from his belt and stabbed it to Man-Bat's back.

Man-Bat screamed in pain but he started lose conscious.

"I need the Wonder Woman Airlines." Batman said and jumped off. Diana caught him again.

Hawkgirl got the unconscious Man-Bat. Batman tapped his commlink.

"Gordon we are near the diamond district. Come and pick up the Dr.Langstorm." Batman said.

"Sending a squad now." Gordon said.

Trio slowly landed on the street. Man-Bat was human again.

"Ahh you holding a naked man that was a bat minutes ago." Batman said.

Hawkgirl gently put him down.

"And we saw his all body. Why did you put it down?" Batman said and closed Diana's eyes with his hands.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Don't look WW." Batman said.

"I'm not a kid you know." Wonder Woman said.

"Doesn't matter. I can't live with a thought of you have seen another man naked." Batman said.

"You are unbelievable." Diana said as she took his hands off her face.

" And that's why you love me." Batman said.

Hawkgirl laughed at the duo. They were incredibly hilarious and cool. She wanted a relationship like that.

"I'll tie him up ladies and gonna take two hours long shower." Batman said as he start tie the Kirk.

"I guess my job here is done." Hawkgirl said.

"Wait before you go." Batman reach out his belt and took a communicator. "Take this. If you need any help just call us." He said and handed the device to her.

Hawkgirl gladly took it. "Thanks Batman and Wonder Woman. You guys are not what they say in the papers." She said.

"Yeah. We are more awesome." Wonder Woman said.

Hawkgirl chuckled and fly. "See you guys later." She said and fly more away until she disappeared from their sights.

"That was fun." Diana turned to Batman and said.

"Yeah. But next time we will meet for launch or something. Not chasing half man half bat." Batman said.

Diana laughed. "Whatever you say babe."

HERE WE GO. Hawkgirl is in the house and Man-Bat is cured. Our favorite couple keep solving problems and making friends.
