(General POV) -Two weeks later after the discovery of Peri's pregnancy-

It was noon, and as soon as Peri was nodding off to bed with a demand of strawberries and a spicy variety of nut flour burritos, leaving Gaston to shake his head in disbelief yet submission as he was both scared yet awed at Peri's mood swings.

Every morning after morning sickness, and evenings as well, Peri opted to have a craving of salted crackers with peanut butter, saying it helps out with the nausea. Gaston can't wait for the fifth month to come as it was said that morning sickness is prone to stop by then.

Of course, the kids are excited to meet their newest sibling, but they have to be patient, and they are just dumbfounded that their mother becomes more emotional if they fight about silly things, so they agreed to tone down stuff like that.

The entirety of Pixie Hollow is exalted as well, and Tink has been searching around for pregnancy books with pictures for both Peri and Gaston's levels of reading. The rest of the girls are creating pillows and stuff that would help out with Peri's aches later on. As for Abby and the others, Abby decided to stay longer, not just because of mentoring Kayla, but she's skilled with childbirth, and she helped out with Estera anyway.

Peri and Gaston decided to keep secret of the pregnancy from the others, apart from Abby as she already knew...They had told the village and Lefou that it was just a simple case of being dehydrated and overworked, and that Peri is just dandy fine.

-Month 4-

Gaston tried to stop his vomit from coming up as he observed his wife eating vanilla ice cream with anchovies! He moaned lightly as this is only the third week of Month 4. Peri has been eating that darn combination for lunches...Luckily, the breakfast and dinner combination isn't worse than that as it's chicken soup with dandelions.

And much to Gaston and the kids's happiness, there has been signs of the baby moving as it has been kicking here and there, and Ashe especially loved feeling his mother's belly as he talked to the baby. Through there has been bets between the kids, talking about the possibility of the baby being a boy or a girl.

-Month 5-

Gus grimaced lightly as he saw his mother eating grilled cheese sandwiches, drenched in chocolate syrup, and that's only for lunches this month! For breakfasts and dinners, it was a combination of salted apple slices with raspberry jam.

At least the morning sickness isn't ailing Peri anymore through the mood swings is getting stronger... Gus had a feeling that his dad will be out on the couch sooner or later. Should he warn Gaston? Probably as his mother is scary sometimes. Oh, he doesn't blame the baby or anything...Kayla told him that it was just the hormones..

-Month 6-

How was Gaston supposed to know that the strawberry jam is out of bounds beyond Peri's control?

He groaned lightly as he laid on the couch, thrown out from the bedroom by Peri after Gaston went to stop her from eating the spoon covered in strawberry jam. Strawberry jam is delicious. Gaston got that. But when it's drenched over chicken legs, it's grossly incredible to watch as Peri didn't hesitate at all, eating them all.

Luckily, it's only for dinners. For breakfasts and lunches, it was a much easier combination of dill pickles with scrambled eggs. At least the books said that the cravings should stop by the end of this month or so. Gaston thinks he couldn't handle seeing his wife eating crazy combinations of food anymore, not after he saw Peri diving for anchovy ice cream two months ago.

Luckily, Gus warned him in time, so he's prepared for a night on the couch, even when the bed is more comfy. He had a feeling that if Kuzco knew about this, he would have been on full teasing towards Gaston.

-Month 7-

Okay, Peri's mood swings of anger is definitely more confrontational than Tink's temper at times. How was she supposed to know that the molting winter owl feathers was not right for the pillows? Tink had a feeling that Rosetta is going to tell her 'I told you so' about the fact that dove feathers are softer and nicer.

At least the food cravings is gone as Tink actually threw up last month at the sight of chicken legs smothered in strawberry jam. She is glad that she's not pregnant as she had planned to work for five years before thinking about kids.. Even Terrence turned green when Tink told him about what she saw, and he agreed heartily after that.

-Month 8-

Kayla sighed heavily as she flopped back into her chair, exhausted after Peri's insistence to fly outside, and Kayla's attempts to defuse her mother from going. She is relieved that her mother is taking a long nap right now, and she knew she's so going to tell Abby about this as flying during pregnancy is dangerous.

Walking, it's okay, but flying, it's so dangerous. Even through shifting is no problem for the baby and Peri, there could be dangers all around like hawk attacks, collisions with another fairy in flight, or falling over rocks and stuff.

And she had a feeling that her dad's planning to do something very nice to distract her mother from the outside world, even after the baby shower last week. She hopes that the baby's coming soon as she can't avoid her shifts of watching her mother...Luckily, it's only Tuesdays for her...

-Month 9-

Peri woke up, blinking softly as she noticed that it was the middle of the night, and she frowned lightly as her aches were bothering her again, and she felt she had to go to the bathroom...again. After glancing at Gaston who's clearly asleep, she got up, heading to the bathroom, figuring that a wet, hot towel could alleviate some of the aches, and then turned around to the toilet when a sharp kick came suddenly, bringing her down to her knees.

She groaned lightly as she felt pressure on her bones, and then as she was grabbing a corner of the tub, she felt something go, and she felt wet. She gasped loudly as pain came, and she grabbed her belly gingerly as she looked down to the floor. She realized that she's in labor! She screamed out for Gaston who woke up instantly, falling over to the floor in a heap of blankets before he ripped them away from them, running to the bathroom.

He gasped in shock and fear, asking if the baby's coming, and Peri yelled out in pain one more time, clutching at her belly before nodding that she's in labor, and the baby's coming. Gaston went to her, picking up her gently yet quickly, heading back to the bedroom to put her upon the bed, knowing the pillows will help her out while waiting out the contractions. It's going to be a long day!
