Sergei's POV

In the motel,at the hall,Sergei and Shima Ko are playing chess games with a cardbox improvised as a table and some broken chairs.

" It's been nearly two hours since they left. " Sergei notices while moving the Bishop to E5.

" Should we go to look for them ? " Shima purposes indifferently. Meanwhile she takes the Rook and puts it to H7.

" No. They know how to handle themselves. They don't need us. " The ukrainian survivor moves his Queen to E5.

" What if they were captured ? " The asian woman asks with the same indifference while moving the Bishop to F6.

" Well... If they have taken all their weapons,they would be really trapped. I don't think they would find an easy way... " After eliminating Shima's Bishop with his Queen to F6,Sergei gets up and grabs his Makarov. He takes off the magazine and checks his bullets. " Two mags... Sixteen bullets in total... Shima,stay here and protect the motel. It's better than one of us keeps the place safe. "

Sergei opens the exit door and gets out. Suddenly an unknown car rides onto the road. He finds inside seven strangers. He takes out his Makarov and aims at the driver. But after precisely analyzing,he discovers that it's Jaiden who's back. This one stops the car right in front of the buiding.

" Blue code ! Blue code ! It's Jay ! " Sergei yells to Shima.

This one gets out of the car and friendly hugs Sergei.

" Glad you're okay. "

" Seems like you got bored without us at the motel. " Jay notices before to chuckle.

" Mind to introduce them to us... except the drunk dude over there... " He points at Lars Karlsson who gets out of the car,his shotgun in his hand.

" Alright,I'll present them to you. But first... "

Lars comes to his encounter,panting and his shotgun puffing strong smokes.

" Sorry... We met those people... Then some fuckers ambushed us and ruined their farm. We've got no choice but to bring them with us. I need a drink... "

" No. You need to rest. Please. " Sergei negociates to Lars.

" Fine. " He answers,frustrared before to head back inside.

" So... " Jay continues. " We have met six new people. One of them died earlier. Another one will return... with the company of William. "

" Cool. " He answers a little bit indifferently.

" So... Come on. Let's present you to them... "

" No I wouldn't. "

" Why ? "

" I'm not at my pace with the others. "

" Don't you wanna socialize with others ? "

" Sorry but I prefer that some of them come to me. Forgive me but I can't handle this... stress... "

" Alright. As you wish. But lemme present them. First,the one missing is an old man named Hans. Next... His daughter repairing the car is Alicia. The woman putting her makeup in the car is Kyrie,the medic. The last woman helping Alicia is Melissa. The one who is sitting in front of Kyrie is named Ryan. And the little girl... Where is she again ?! "

" A problem ? "

" There's a little girl named Alejandra who hides in front of strangers. Now that I think about it... She reminds me of you ! "

" Very funny. " Sergei reacts,insensitive to the comment.

" Kyrie. Where is she ? Don't tell me we left her to the farm ! " Jay asks.

" No. She's just at my feet... "

" don't tell them i'm here... " The young girl whispers to her friend.

" Don't worry. They are good guys. You can come out. "

" I ain't surr about it. I'll stay for now. "

" What a first impression. " Sergei gently mocks. " Anyway,what might Will be doing ? "

" Last I knew,him and Hans were cleaning the farm from walkers and bandits... "

" Wait ! Bandits ?! Which ones ? "

" I don't know. They had black clothes and black masks... "

" That must be some amateurs. But we should be more careful. Who knows,they maybe followed us. "

" Will makes sure that's not the case. "

" Alright. Come with me. Let's go to the office. "

Jaiden and Sergei head together to the hotel's office behind the hall. After letting Jay in,Sergei closes gently the door behind him then takes a seat on the chair while Jay arrogantly lies on the wall.

" What are you gonna do of them ? "

" We could maybe... Keep them with them... For a pretty long tim... "

" I wish I could do that. Honest. But don't forget we don't know anything about them. So we shouldn't keep them for that long. "

" They just lost their only house. We can't just send them back to the street. They'll get killed pronto. "

" Two days ago,I joined one of the worst sects that exist on Earth. I saw what those bitches did ti a lot fo people. That was... so... cruel. I couldn't bear it. So I fled. What if those guys were doing the exact same thing again ?! "

" They won't . "

" Alright. As you wish. They can stay as much as they want. But the next month,I will decide. "

" Deal. " Jay agrees.

" So... Hey ! Here comes our buddy William "

Indeed,the tractor has finally arrived to the place too.

" Do you yahe turkeys ? " Hans has difficulty to speak thanks to the adrenaline.

" OHHHH DAD ! " Alicia instantly hugs her father. " I knew you would make it. "

" No one can stop the old Hans. " This one mocks.

" I made it,too. Thanks everyone for your su... (Sigh). " Suddenly,Ramirez rolls his arms on Will's shoulders to reassure him.

" We're there too. " Jay exclaims.

" Thank you so much. Anyway... " Will quickly gets himself free. " Should we bring everyone inside ? "

" You do that. I will get to Shima. Since they arrived,she fled to the upper floors... "

" Give her some space. " Sergei advices. " She's not a sociable kind. Respect her personnality. "

" Yes,Sergei. "

" Anyway,I'll get everyone inside. Sergei,secure the door. Jay,find Shima in the afternoon. For now,help me to get the new car to the nearest garage. " Will and Jay get out of the hotel. " Everyone,please get inside before you finish into stomaches. "

Everyone obeys and the duo takes the car by the front and pulls it to the garage.
