Inks POV
Error didn't make a single noise, he seemed shocked though as he looked down at Inks soul which was still in his hands he seemed to be staring at it protectively. "...What... Why didn't you have a soul before?" Error eventually asked after a breathe, he seemed to be trying to wrap his mind around this new information. Ink didn't blame them, he had never told anyone else this, not even Dream or Blueberry, but he had a speckle of doubt. 'Should I really tell him? Its not like our relationship will 100% work out... what if we break up or something and he goes and tells everyone.'
Ink shook his head, focusing on the feeling he had when he thought of his relationship with Error, he had a sure feeling it would work out for some reason... He wasn't sure if that was cliché or not. "Weeeeeeeeeeeeell... I just barely remember having no soul, and being emotionless and creepy I guess, and then I guess I just... randomly had a soul one day... I never seem to remember how." Ink answered, he was staring down at the bed, already getting used to the feeling of vulnerability. He slightly jumped when he felt his soul brush something, looking up Error was holding it protectively against his chest, the soft scarf he still wore was what he had felt. Souls were weird, Ink had found, since they were connected to their owner whatever the soul felt the owner felt in essence... Souls could also sort of reflect what their owner was feeling. For example if Ink was feeling stressed Error would be able to sense that since he was holding Inks soul, Ink knew this.
"How... did you even survive without a soul?" Error asked, genuinely confused though Ink smiled softly at him and his protective look he had on as he kept holding Inks soul against his chest, lightly enough that it didn't hurt Ink at all. In fact the soft scarf just made him feel like someone had put a fuzzy blanket over him, the feeling was definitely interesting to say the least. "Eh well... thats one of the parts I dont really remember." Ink admitted, lightly tapping the side of his skull as if that would help. "Well... I remember this..." He began with a straight face, Error just kept listening quietly. "I had no soul... and then I did." Ink laughed drily as Error gave him a look. "Yeah... the only things I can remember is being pretty much cast out from all of monster-kind and... then I guess I wasn't? I don't know how I survived without one since monsters are supposed to die and stay dead without souls but I guess im weird hehe. I... It... I think it happened a long time ago but for all I know it could have been a year ago I-I cant remember whatever happened so I, eh, Its easier for me to keep forgetting I didn't even have a soul before hand." Ink admitted quietly, glancing up at Error he was just staring at the soul in his hands.
"How do you know you didn't have a soul before?" Error asked, Ink knew that was a reasonable question but he didn't really know the answer to it. "Eh well... I can't really remember it but sometimes I get flash backs to then... and... also nightmares... Being cast out from all of monster kind isn't a fun experience, or memory, and its a even less fun thing to dream about." Ink stared hard at the bed. "Oh... Was that what happened on your like... 3rd night of staying here when you woke me up at the middle of the night crying?" Error asked, Ink wondered how Error even managed to remember that as he had completely forgotten that had even happened until Error just now mentioned it, Ink nodded slowly. "The only other thing I remember about it is just one moment when I first felt emotions... I think I seriously freaked out and tried to... heh, rip apart my own soul or something since I remember all the stupid and I guess rude things I had done before caught up to me and made me really guilty and feel bad and I just couldn't handle it then." Ink mentioned slightly beginning to rant, he kept his voice flat, he didn't really ever care about what happened in his past, he wasn't even sure if he was remembering it right or if this was all from his imagination or something, but he felt sure of it being true. After all... Something like 'the future is the only thing you can change so you shouldn't dwell on the past' is one thing he managed to remember whenever he had to remember something that probably scarred him for life. Ink also slightly regretted forcing himself not to show any emotions right now as a feeling of hollowness overtook him, and he figured it was probably getting reflected to Error... He really didn't need Error worrying about him or something.
"InKy." Ink jumped slightly when he heard Errors voice, it was glitchy, he was scared he had upset him somehow..."tAke youR soul back." Error instructed, slowly handing his soul over. Ink took it and allowed it to rest back inside his ribcage, the dim white glow of it was gone now... So was the weird reflecting feeling that he didn't feel like describing twice to himself. Suddenly he felt arms wrap around him and he was pulled into Errors lap. Ink felt a blush creeping onto his face as he looked up with a smile, seeing Error smile back down at him, also blushing brightly. Ink hugged the other tightly, now hiding his face in Errors clothes again. Mostly hiding because he too was blushing since, well, he still had no shirt on.
The hollow feeling was still there despite the fact his soul was now inwardly having a stroke about being this close to Error again. He really disliked feeling like this, the emptiness was almost suffocating but he didn't bother with focusing on it. Ink focused on the feeling of safety he had around Error instead. He felt Errors arms wrapped securely around him and he sighed. "Why did you hug me?" Ink was curious, and also slightly worried Error might ditch him for being... weird? He also wanted to tease Error as he felt the hollow feeling fade as he rested his skull against Errors chest, listening to his soul as he usually did. Errors soul was also racing just as much as Inks was. He snickered quietly.
"BeCause I caN? aNd youR eyEliGhts just wenT to white circles and I never saw you like that before... And your soul was giving me this creepy empty feeling." Error responded with the same quietness, Ink was still slightly worried but listening to Errors soul made him feel calm, and loved. "Do you... wanna hold my soul?" Error asked with a gentle tone, probably trying to change the mood. Ink leaned back from the half hug half snuggle. "Sure!" He answered excitedly, he was curious what Errors soul would look like... And he had an idea to try and fluster Error with as he inwardly laughed evilly. 'Wow me, you've been in a rather evil mood lately. I know me and I love it hahahahhh' Ink said to himself as he smiled at Error who was very hesitantly moving one of his skeletal hands to his chest, Ink noticed he looked very unsure about this and a lot more worried than Ink had been. Ink just waited patiently, he understood the feeling of uneasiness that would come from leaving your soul out as he subconsciously already started forgetting the somewhat depressing conversation they just had.
Errors POV
Error stares at his skeletal hand, knowing he could easily summon his soul right now and just lend it to Ink like he's supposed too. But he just hates having his soul out, he's just glad the humans at school don't know how to summon souls or something or Error would be screwed over. He glanced at Ink who just gives him a reassuring look, Error knew Ink wouldn't rush him. Error growled at himself. 'Cmon you good for nothing mistake, at least do something for the only one who cares about you.' Error told himself as he finally summoned his soul, instantly freezing at the feeling of vulnerability he felt. Errors soul was definitely interesting... At times it looked like a normal soul, just light blue with no glitches in sight. Other times it would glitch out completely and you wouldn't even see the soul, just glitches. It even sometimes glitches parts of itself away... It would be a small quarter of a soul at times, perhaps even a sliver, to just being half of a soul to having a full soul just surrounding by glitches just like the owner of said soul. Error didn't know why his soul was like this, it just... was. He really hating feeling vulnerable. Error forced himself to slide his hand over to Ink, trying to ignore how creepy the soul looked, his soul hovering just above his skeletal palm. Ink very carefully took his soul, being even slower than any of them had been with Inks soul as Ink took Errors soul over to his own chest.
Glancing at Inks face he just looked mystified at Errors weird ass soul. 'I wonder why it is even like that...' He also noted that Ink looked slightly worried as well whenever the soul switched to one of its weird slivers being left to not even being able to see the soul for a second. Error just felt anxious, he didn't know why but having his soul anywhere except inside his ribcage always freaked him out. But he kept quiet despite the slight panic he was feeling, and the cold dread covering him per usual when he took his soul out, and yet he trusted Ink fully to not murder him easily by simply stabbing his soul and whatever other shit you would need to do to murder someone. Ink glanced at him with a reassuring smile. 'Ah fuck I forgot he can feel what im feeling so long as he is holding my stupid soul.' Error cursed himself silently. He didn't want Ink to think he was weak or some crap, especially since he probably almost died or something just because of a group of little human turds being jerks. At least some humans were nice, a few of them just wave or even hold doors for him and others. Those humans were respectable, the jackass ones? Not so much.
"Can I try something?" Ink asked, Error nods despite the wave of anxiety he felt from questioning what Ink was gonna do. 'What the fuck is he planning...' Error thought curiously, and slightly scared. He saw Ink slowly lifting the soul from his still undressed chest to his skull. 'Wait-' Error had a suspicious about what was gonna happen and his suspicion was correct when he felt Ink softly kiss his soul, at the moment it was in the form of no glitches, just a baby blue solid color with a soft glow. Error shivered at the feeling of pleasure that caused, it felt like someone had just given him a relaxing massage with a loving intent, of course what happened to the soul was connected to him so... well... He enjoyed that a lot, but he was definitely never going to admit that as he hurriedly used his scarf to cover the bright blush he knew he had by the fact his cheekbones were heating up. 'Damn it why did that feel so nice what the hell is wrong with me?!' Error questioned as he glared at Ink who was smirking at him, still gently holding his soul. Still glaring he makes sure his face had 'What the fuck Ink' written all over it as Ink giggles. 'Why me? Why do I have to suffer because of how cute he is...' Error questioned his life choices silently.
Error looks at Ink again only to get a evil smirk, he wonders what hes about to do. Ink then licks his soul. "Ah-~" Error forces himself to shut up as he covers his mouth with his skeletal hand, despite not having a mouth so obviously he could still talk. He hated and loved the feeling Ink was giving him with this at the same time. Luckily for him the scarf still covered the definite blush he had covering his face. "W-What the fuck Ink?! Great Asgore fuck me what the hell!? Why would you do that?!" Error exclaimed, not wanting to admit he was enjoying that as he was clearly visibly flustered. He cursed himself as he knew Ink could feel Error was secretly loving this by the pleasure his soul was most probably radiating. Ink starts outright laughing as Error angrily stares at his lap feeling embarrassed and angry Ink would laugh at him. "H-Oh my gosh, I-I-" He wheezed, literally wheezed... "t-that response was so perfectly amazing" Ink managed to say as he kept laughing, Error had to admit it was kinda funny... Error laughed a bit with Ink despite himself. He was still highly flustered.
He flinched when he felt the scarf get pulled down and someone grab the hand he had already began moving to pull it up again. Glancing at Ink he was smirking now and still chuckling a little. Of course Inks smirk only widened, if that was possible, when he realizing just how much he had effected Error doing that. "Fuckin' kinky Inky." Error mumbled, making sure it was loud enough for Ink to hear. He heard Ink huff, though he laughed a little. "I am not kinky!" He finally responded when he stopped laughing again as Error stopped staring at his lap. "Says you!" Error threw back, earning himself another huff from Ink. "I wasn't the one moaning!" Error felt embarrassment wash over him again as he kept avoiding Inks gaze, once again staring at his lap. He heard Ink giggle a little as he probably realized he just won their little shouting match. 'Why does he have to be so god damn adorable?' Error questioned to himself as he felt Ink let go of his hand, but he didn't pull his scarf up. A second later he felt Ink forcing him to meet his gaze by lifting his chin.
"You enjoyed it though right? Your soul did for sure but if you didn't like it I promise I wont do it again." Ink said quietly. Now Error was in a tough spot, either admit he actually liked that or probably hurt Inks feelings or some shit. He chose the former. "I did. Why else do you think I moaned you kinky bitch." Error responded, also quiet. He heard Ink laugh at his response again. "Can I keep holding your soul? I, Ummm... It makes me feel safe when I can feel you like in my hand... if that makes sense?" Ink asked. Error nodded, he felt safer than he had before. "May I ask why your soul is, um glitchy like that?" Ink questioned, Error shrugged. "To hell if I know." Error answered aloud, he really didn't know. He knew he was still blushing and he somehow only just now noticed Ink was also blushing. 'Not surprising giving he literally just made me fucking moan.' Error thought with a unamused expression.
"Thanks for trusting me with your soul. I could feel how uneasy you were when you first brought it out. Now though... Im feeling something much different~" Ink said, at first with a straight face but it soon faded into a smirk. Error rolled his non existent eyes. "Not my fault you licked my soul." Error pointed out, Ink giggled yet again. Error felt good, like really good, not that type of good you sinners, just... safe and loved. He felt warm now, being here with Ink. 'I really love him, even if he is a kinky bitch in disguise.' He laughed a little at his thoughts and Ink smiled at him. Error smiled back, still feeling a little flustered but by now they were both sat in moderate silence as Ink just kept Errors glitchy soul in front of his chest, as if he was hugging it protectively without actually touching it.
Ink then slowly handed Errors soul back to him, Error glanced at him for a second before taking it. Allowing his glitchy soul to be concealed safely inside his ribs once again. He was slightly surprised when Ink then pinned him on the bed. Error blinked, glancing up at Ink who had a very bright rainbow blush yet again, Error felt himself blushing and knew he was probably looking like a blue glowstick. Error gave him a questioning look, trying to stop looking visibly flustered. Ink then just lays down beside him. Error had a sudden idea to revenge Inky for being kinky. He quickly sat up and Ink glanced at him, Error then proceeds to start tickling Ink, the shorty still not having any shirt on made this easy as he immediately started squirming and laughing as Error kept ticking with a evil smile.
"ER- hhehe- Stop it!- hahah!" Ink kept laughing as he kept on trying to get Error to stop with no success, this made Error laugh as well. "Nooooooooo!- heheh -stoooppp!" Ink jokingly begged as he kept trying to escape the tickles. "Error!- heheheh - mercy!" Finally Error collapsed dramatically on the bed beside Ink again, ending the tickle attack on Ink, as said artist kept giggling randomly. "Meanie!" Ink shouted with a smile once they regained their breath. "Thats karma for being kinky!" Error justified himself as Ink booped Errors noise. Error hissed at him in response, with a pouty face for extra measures, and Ink just giggled again. "I love you." Error mentioned pretty randomly, he thought this was sappy but it wasn't stopping him. Ink scooted closer to him. "I love you too." Ink responded softly as he curled up beside Error, spooning hin. "Soooooo... When are you gonna put a shirt on again?" Error questioned. "Mmm never" Was Inks only response as he seemed to get comfy. Error laughed. "Okay then, have fun when you have to go to school half naked" Error joked. Ink huffed from beside him but with a glance Error saw Ink was smiling, he was too.
Error sat up, about to get under the covers, when he felt arms trapping him from moving. Looking down he saw Ink evilly smiling with their eyesockets closed. Error rolled his non existent eyes and laid back down, also snuggling into Ink who made a happy noise. It wasn't like Error was cold or something, he could survive falling asleep on the covers. He knew school was tomorrow and he made a mental note to remember that and prayed the alarm clock was still on but didn't want to check for since he was already comfy and if he moved Ink would probably wake up, if said skeleton was even already asleep that is. Error tucked his skeletal hands under his skull as he glanced at Ink, who was probably trying to go to sleep if he wasn't already sleeping, and closed his own eyesockets as well.
