The next world will be a Kirby world. It will contain references from both the games and anime. If you're a Kirby fan, your gonna love this chapter.
Chapter 23: Sora's Dreamland Adventure Part 1
For the next 30 minutes, our heroes are sitting around and having fun. Plucky even let Sora play his Nintendo DS. Sora beats Whitney's Gym in Pokemon Heartgold.
Plucky: How did you do that?
Sora: Beginner's luck.
Sweetie: Sora, we're approaching a new world.
Sora: Let's check it out.
Sora and the gang looked out the window to see a star shaped planet.
Sora: That's a new world? It looks like a star.
Sweetie: It may look like a star but it's definitely a new world. It's called Pop Star. And on Pop Star is a land called Dreamland, home of the Cappies of Cappy Town.
Sneezer: Although the inhabitants are friendly creatures, I recommend you three should change appearances to be safe.
Sora: But how can we change our appearances?
Plucky: Mumbo taught me a special ability to do that.
Sora: Is it safe?
Plucky: It's not tested yet, but I'll give it a try.
Plucky points his staff at Sora and zapped him. A smoke poofed in front of Sora and now he's wearing a Princess Peach costume.
Sora: Plucky, you need to work on your magic.
Plucky: I just wanted to make you look stupid kid.
Plucky, Dizzy, and Elder-Ham rolled on the floor with laughter.
Dizzy: Sora so pretty in pink.
Sora walked over to Plucky and zaps him with Thunder.
Sora: You better change me back or else!
Plucky: OK, OK. I was just fooling around.
Plucky points his staff again and returns Sora to normal.
Plucky: At least it worked. Now I'll use my magic to change our appearances when we arrive.
The gummi ship departed for Dreamland.
World: Dreamland
Cappy Town as a small but peaceful town in Dreamland. The Cappies are small ghost like creatures with oval black eyes, tan bodies, and pudgy hands with no fingers. The gummi ship arrived and out came three odd creatures. One has a red oval shaped chest with yellow feet and has arms, hands, and feet, but no legs. The other is similar to the former but looks like a green duck with white oval shaped chest and also yellow feet. The last one looks like a Cappy, but was purple with a Tasmanian devil face. The three are none other than Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy. Sora looks around nervously.
Sora: Plucky, are you sure about this? We don't look anything like them, except for Dizzy.
Dizzy: But me still have normal face.
Plucky: Don't worry. The Cappies are friendly creatures, and they are not the only creatures in this world. Besides, We need hands and feet to fight the heartless.
Sora: Good point there, but does Dreamland lack in the leg department?
Plucky: That's just the way they are kid.
Dizzy: But me have no feet.
Plucky: Get use to it. I can't do anything about it now.
Sora tries to walk, but falls down.
Sora: Ugh. It's so hard to walk with feet like this.
Plucky: It's not that hard. All you have to do is...
He broke into a song and dance.
Plucky: Put one foot in front of the other, and soon you'll be walking across the floor. Put one foot in front of the other, and soon you'll be walking out the door.
Plucky ran into a tree and fell down.
Sora: Looks like your act needs a little work.
Plucky: But at least I tried.
Dizzy: Plucky good at being clumsy.
Plucky: Can't you two at least give me a break?
Sora: At least you're good at being a good friend.
Plucky: Thanks, Sora. Do you really mean that?
Sora: Of course I do. All for one and one for all.
Sora slowly walked across the street and turned to his group.
Sora: You're right, Plucky. It's not so hard. Let's go guys!
The trio walked through Cappy Town for a bit. Along the way, Sora found a chest containing five more Pikmin.
Plucky: So the inn is by the restaurant. We'll check into the inn first and then we'll eat at the restaurant.
Dizzy: Sound good to me.
Sora: Let's go then.
Sora's group was about to leave, when they heard a female voice.
?: Come on, Tuff! Hurry up!
Sora noticed five creatures running towards them. Two of them look just like what Sora and Plucky were. The first one was a young girl who had light yellow skin and a long ponytail. She wore a shirt which was half pink and half green with an egg cracked look in the middle. She also had orange feet. The second one was a boy with orange skin, orange and green mushroom cut hair covering his eyes, blue pants without a shirt, and green feet. The next two creatures weren't running, but floating. They are both round creatures. One with blue skin and the other with pink skin. They had white gloves and feet. The pink one wore a bow in her head. The most interesting creature of all was a pink, round creature with oval eyes, blushing red cheeks, small pudgy arms, and small red feet. The two floating creatures flew so fast, they ran into Plucky.
Plucky: Ow! Watch where you going!
Pink creature: We're so sorry.
Blue creature: We didn't mean to-
When they looked at Plucky, the both scream and hid behind the girl.
Girl: What's the matter, Fololo and Falala? They seem friendly to me.
Dizzy: Dizzy mean no harm.
Girl: Sorry about that. They can get scared sometimes.
Sora: Don't worry about it. Plucky sometimes thinks there's a monster under his bed.
Plucky: I do not!
Girl: You must be visitors from a faraway land. That's OK. We always welcome visitors.
Boy: I don't know. They look different.
Sora: What do you mean?
The girl observes the three.
Girl: They do look different, but they seem harmless. Besides, the one with the spiky hair is kinda cute. Forgive me, but I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Tiff.
Boy: And I'm her brother, Tuff.
Fololo: And we're their friends Fololo.
Falala: And Falala.
Plucky: Nice to meet you all. But who is that pink puff ball?
Tiff: Oh yeah. This is our special friend Kirby. Say hi, Kirby.
Kirby looked at the trio confused at first, but then smiles and hops around
Kirby: Kirby! Kirby!
Plucky: Great, another Pokemon.
Sora stomps his foot on Plucky's foot, causing him to scream.
Plucky: YEOW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?
Plucky realized why Sora did that for.
Plucky Oh, right, sorry.
Tiff: Kirby can't really speak too well yet. He may have a hard time understanding you.
Sora: Hi, Kirby. My name is Sora.
Kirby: So..ra?
Sora: Huh?
Kirby: Sora!
Plucky: And I'm Plucky Duck.
Kirby: Plucky Duck!
Dizzy: and me Dizzy Devil.
Kirby: Dizzy Devil!
Sora: He's like a baby. That's so cute.
Dizzy made a jealous look at Kirby as he jumped up and down for Sora who started laughing.
Tiff: So, where are you three from?
Sora: We're from...another part of Dreamland. Just far away from Cappy Town.
Plucky: By the way, you guys look like you were in a hurry. What's the rush?
Tiff: We were all playing a game when these-
Tuff: Tiff! They're back!
Everyone turned to see heartless. They are Red Nocturnes, Search Ghosts, and new ones called Star Fighters. They are small round heartless with star swords and shields.
Sora: Hide you guys! We'll take care of the heartless!
Tiff, Tuff, Fololo, and Falala all ran to the tree, but Kirby joined in the fight.
Sora: Kirby, stay out of this!
But Kirby didn't listen and used his Inhale to swallow a Red Nocturne. He swallowed it and gain a tiara with fire on it.
Sora: You can fight too?
Tiff: Of course he can.
Plucky: What is that on his head?
Tuff: Kirby can copy his enemy's abilities. He is now Fire Kirby.
Kirby used his Fire Breath to burn some heartless. He then uses Burn to turn into a fireball and took out some heartless.
Plucky: Wow! That's pretty cool.
Sora: We gotta fight, too.
Sora's group charged at the heartless. The Search Ghosts disappeared for a moment and then reappeared behind the group. Sora clashes with the Star Fighters, while Plucky and Dizzy battle the Search Ghosts and Red Nocturnes. Plucky uses Blizzara, while Dizzy uses his Spin Attack. The gang eventually wipes out the heartless.
Sora: The coast is clear. You can come out now guys.
Kirby's friends came out from behind the tree and bushes and Tuff cheered.
Tuff: That was awesome! You guys rock!
Dizzy: It nothing. We took down bunch of heartless.
Fololo & Falala: Those were the creatures that attacked us.
Tuff: They were chasing us before, but Kirby took care of them.
Tiff: You should've seen him in action earlier. He's a Star Warrior.
Plucky: Star Warrior? Don't make me laugh.
Tuff: Don't make fun of him. You wouldn't believe some of the cool things he did.
More heartless appeared, but Kirby swallowed them all in one gulp.
Sora: He ate them all in one gulp.
Tiff: Kirby have fought tons of monsters before, and he's a big eater too.
Tuff: But sometimes, his eating habits gets us into trouble.
Plucky then looks at Dizzy.
Plucky: It looks like someone has met his match.
Dizzy: No way! Dizzy still best eater here!
Dizzy saw a tree with a fruit and went into his Spin Attack. Dizzy spins into the tree and accidentally falls it down. Kirby grabs the fruit and ate it. Kirby walked back to Tiff and rubs his stomach.
Tiff: Kirby's still hungry. We were about to go eat and head home when those things attacked us.
Tuff: So how are we going to get there without those creatures attacking us?
Tiff: We don't mean to ruin your day, but would you like to come with us?
Sora: Yeah, we'll go with you. The heartless are pretty dangerous. We'll escort you to the restaurant and to your home. We're heading to the restaurant ourselves.
Dizzy: Let go already! Me hungry!
Sora's gang and the kids went to the restaurant. It looks like a Japanese restaurant.
Tuff: Here we are. This is Kawasaki's restaurant.
Dizzy took a sniff.
Dizzy: Smell good, but not too good.
Tiff: Chef Kawasaki's cooking isn't that great, but at least he tried.
Suddenly, one of Sora's summon gems reacted and Yoshi came out.
Yoshi: Yoshi want food.
Tuff:(Giggles)Look's like we have another customer.
Sora and the gang enters the restaurant. It was a small Japanese styled restaurant with small wooden tables and chairs set up. An egg shaped orange creature wearing a chef's hat and a cooking apron walks out to greet them.
Creature: Tiff, Tuff, glad you two could drop by.
He then turned to notice Kirby. He made a disappointed look.
Creature: And you brought Kirby as well.
Tiff: What's up, Chef Kawasaki?
Kawasaki: Same, Same old. Business as slow as usual. I was hoping to see Cappy Town's 200th anniversary parade. But after this meal, I think I'll be here all night.
He turned to notice Sora's gang.
Kawasaki: Oh, my. Are these new friends of yours?
Fololo: They are Sora, Plucky, Dizzy, and Yoshi. They helped us fight off the black creatures.
Kawasaki: Any friends of Tiff and Tuff are friends of mine.
He walked up and shakes Sora's hand
Kawasaki: Please make yourself at home, fellas.
The group found a long table to sit at and ordered their food. After 10 minutes of waiting, Kawasaki brought them their food. Everyone ate it all up. Dizzy, Yoshi, and Kirby ate their's at a fast pace.
Tiff: We're putting this on my dad's account, so you can eat as much as you like.
Sora: Good, cause I'm ordering another one.
Dizzy: Dizzy order two more.
Yoshi: Yoshi order three more.
Plucky: Those three have endless stomachs.
Kawasaki walks in with two more bowls of ramen, panting.
Kawasaki: You kids sure can eats. These are the last two bowls. Who wants one?
Sora raised his hand and the chef gave it to him. Dizzy, Yoshi, and Kirby wanted the last one, but upon realizing they wanted it, the three gave each other stares you would imagine in the westerns.
Dizzy: Last bowl Dizzy's!
Yoshi: Think again, Dizzy!
Kirby: Poyo!
Sora: So it's like the devil, the dino, and the puff ball.
Kawasaki: I can't stand around all day. Which one of you wants it?
Dizzy: Dizzy challenge Yoshi and Kirby to a showdown. One who eats bowl first wins.
Everybody rolled their eyes but they knew how powerful Dizzy, Yoshi, and Kirby are when it comes to eating, so they decided to watch.
Plucky: I can't wait to see this. It's the battle of the century. Three titans of eating going at each other.
Everyone shushed Plucky as the wind blew lightly into the room.
Dizzy: This town ain't big enough for three eaters!
Yoshi: Two of us have to go!
Kirby: Poyo!
Tuff: On the count to 3, I'll say draw. 1...2...3...DRAW!
Yoshi stuck his tongue out and wrapped it around the bowl of ramen. Kirby tried sucking the bowl in but Yoshi held onto it with all his might. Dizzy soon follows with his Spin Attack and tries to grab the bowl. For awhile all three struggled back and forth with the bowl. Finally, all three of them fell over and the bowl went flying into the air and lands on Plucky's head. The ramen was so hot that it burns his face.
Plucky: AHH! MY EYES! IT BURNS!
He ran into a wall which had a picture of Kawasaki. The picture fell off and the chef dove for the picture and grabbed it, but then trips over Plucky and crashed into a table.
Sora: Looks like Plucky is the winner.
Everybody laughs while Dizzy, Yoshi, and Kirby sighs.
Tuff: So that means, it's a draw. Kirby, Yoshi, and Dizzy are the ultimate eaters.
Kawasaki: Great. That means I have two more Kirbies.
Kawasaki fainted. Sora and the gang cleaned up the mess made by Dizzy, Yoshi, and Kirby. Then they payed the check and left.
Plucky: That's one dining experience I won't forget.
Sora: Looks like Dizzy's not the only one who eats like crazy.
Kirby extended his hand to Dizzy, but Dizzy turned away from him. But being the nice little devil, he turned to Kirby with a smile and shook his hand.
Tiff: That's so cute. They're friends now.
Tuff: Hey, Tiff. We should get back to the castle. I'm worried that those creatures might do something to our parents.
Plucky: You're parents are the King and Queen of this world?
Tiff: I wish. My parents are actually the King's Court Officials, so we all live in the castle.
Sora: So your parents work for the king? Who is he anyway?
Tuff: A big fat loser named King Dedede.
Fololo & Falala: Fat as in a ton of bricks.
Tiff: Dedede makes all these dumb laws and tries to ruin our fun. He even hates Kirby and used to work for a company called Nightmare Enterprises. But Kirby always foiled his plans. Right Kirby?
Kirby: Poyo!
Tiff: I believe that maybe he summoned those creatures her. We should let daddy know about this.
Tuff: But ever since they've shown up, he's been acting really weird.
Sora: That's OK. We'll come to the castle with you guys.
Our heroes left Cappy Town and went towards the castle, fighting heartless along the way. They finally reached the castle entrance and Tiff knocked on the door. Two creatures answer the door. The first one wore green armor with green feet, a brown chest, and a belt which held a sword in a sheath. The second one also wore green armor with brown feet, a blue center, red long hair at the back, a red mask, and a sword in a sheath too.
Tuff: Hi, Sword. Hi, Blade.
Sword Knight: Tiff and Tuff. I'm glad to see you're both safe. Your parents are worried sick.
Tiff: Our parents are usually never worried that much.
Blade Knight: It's because those creatures attacked our world.
The two knights turned to Sora's group.
Sword Knight: Who are these people? They look suspicious to me. Especially, the dog that looks like a Cappy.
Dizzy got mad and crossed his hands
Fololo: They're our new friends. They protected us from those monsters.
Falala: They don't mean any harm.
Tiff: Please. Can't you let these three come in?
Sword: Well...
Blade:...OK!
Tuff: Thanks, guys.
Sword: Hurry up before the king comes!
The gang enters quickly into the castle. As the two knights closed the door, a mysterious figure watched from a tree with his eyes glowing green.
?:(Mexican accent)He has come.
Back inside, Tiff and Tuff lead the gang down a small hallway in the castle. They arrived at a room and Tiff opened the door. The room was pretty big. It had a mini dining table, two red couches, and a normal table. Kirby began jumping around the room looking for food.
?: Tiff? Tuff? is that you?
The group turned to notice a female creature who wore a long pink dress, had yellow skin, held a fan in her hand, and had green earrings.
Tiff: Hi, mom.
She ran to hug her mother.
Woman: hello, darling. Are you alright dear? I heard those creatures were all over Cappy Town.
Tuff: Yeah, but we had help from Kirby and these guys.
Sora's gang enters the room.
Tiff: Guys, this is our mom Lady Like. Mom, this is Sora.
Lady Like: Pleasure to meet you, Sora. i am forever in your debt for protecting my children.
She shook Sora's hands.
Sora: Don't worry about it, mam.
?: Tiff? Tuff? Is that you?
A male creature entered the room. He had yellow skin, wore a buttoned purple shirt, brown pants without legs, purple mustachio, and purple hair shaped like a court judge.
Tiff: Daddy.
Man: Tiff, where have you and your brother been? It's late. You've disobeyed me. Ever since those things attacked, I've been concerned with your safety and yet you were out for too long.
Fololo and Falala flew to Tiff and Tuff's father.
Fololo & Falala: Behold! You stand before the King's Court Official, Sir Ebrum
He then looks at Sora's group with a funny look.
Ebrum: Who are these three gents?
Tiff: They helped us fight off those creatures.
Ebrum: I've never seen them before. Where are you three from?
Sora: Good question. Plucky was gonna tell you that.
He then turns to Plucky.
Sora: Right, Plucky?
Plucky: You're going to regret that you brat. We...came...from...um...
Plucky looks around the room looking for something. He then noticed a sign that said Ice Cream Island, which is a vacation resort.
Plucky: We came from Ice Cream Island.
Dizzy: Ice Cream? Where?
Kirby ran into the kitchen holding a spoon upon hearing Plucky saying ice cream.
Ebrum: And what brings you all the way to Cappy Town?
Dizzy: We here to find keyhole?
Sora & Plucky: Dizzy!
Dizzy: What did Dizzy say?
Lady Like: Keyhole, you say? Is it a special kind of keyhole?
As they were talking, Kirby walked back in and thought about something.
Tiff: There are many keyholes here. But what's so important about this one?
Dizzy: Well-
Ebrum: There's no such thing! Especially in this kingdom!
Tiff: But, daddy.
Ebrum: Young lady, not another word! Until those creatures leave, you and your brother are not allowed to leave the castle! Is that clear?
Tuff: Nice going, sis.
Lady Like: Tuff!
Kirby: Poyo! Poyo!
Tuff: What's the matter, Kirby?
Kirby ran out the door.
Tuff: Uh-oh! If Kirby runs into Dedede, he's in big trouble. Come on, Everyone!
Sora and the gang followed Kirby. Ebrum sat in his chair and sighed sadly.
Ebrum: What's wrong with me? Perhaps I'm being too strict. How could one with a good heart become so cruel to his own children? Have I become ill?
Lady Like: Just relax, dear. Perhaps you should take some medicine and then go lie down for a little while.
Ebrum: Perhaps you're right, love. A little rest should do me well.
Fololo: What about the keyhole they've mentioned? I'm quite curious about it.
Ebrum: That's none of your concerns, Fololo. Have you two been keeping good eyes on my children?
Fololo & Falala: No, sir! We mean...yes, sir!
Ebrum walked back to bed and falls asleep. Lady Like turns to the twins.
Lady Like: Now that my Ebrum is asleep, we can talk about Dedede. What do you have to report?
Fololo: Well, just as you suspected, those creatures do in fact came from him.
Lady Like: I knew it! That troublesome king is up to no good again! I see that Nightmare Enterprise's downfall has taught him nothing.
Falala: Well what else is new? What should we do, Lady Like?
Lady Like: You two need to stay with Tiff and Tuff for now. I'll figure out what to do about the king.
The twins left the room, following Sora and the gang.
