Day 16- Daytime
*Bing bong, ding dong* "Gooood morning students! It is now 7 A.M. Wakey wakey, commit a murder!" the morning announcement played, and woke me up. Yawn… it seems earlier than usual. Or is it just me?
I got out of bed, and then looked over at the photo laying next to the bed. It's just a picture of a white flower… I wonder which type of flower this is. I might as well ask someone, right?
*Knock Knock* Huh? "Who is it?" I asked, coming to the door. I opened it, and looked down. Oh. It's just Kujiya. I moved to shut the door, but the hamster blocked it.
"Hold on, crime girl. I need to talk to you," Kujiya said, and I crossed my arms.
"What about?"
"The picture you got. You really don't know anything about it?"
"Wha- how did you know that?"
"A hamster knows," Kujiya said thoughtfully, and then wandered off. How did it know I don't have any idea what this is? Geez.
I decided to go back to the place behind the information center, to see what everyone's doing.
"What the heck?!" someone yelled by the photo booth. I jogged over to see what was troubling the person. It turned out the person was Tomomi, holding a picture.
"I don't see anything wrong with that picture," Katsuo commented, looking over Tomomi's shoulder. Huh?
"That's exactly what's wrong with it!" Tomom turned around and noticed me. "Ayona, this is just a normal picture of Katsuo!"
"What the heck? That's strange," I commented as Tomomi handed me the photo. It was just a picture of Katsuo smiling, with no blood or death anywhere in the photo.
"Maybe these photos can tell the future! Uh oh," Tomomi concluded, and a scared expression made itself comfortable on his face. No… they can't. No one can predict the future! It's impossible!
"Hey guys! Minako wanted us all to meet at the ice cream shop, so you should probably head over there," Otoko said, coming up to the three of us. Huh? I wonder what she has to tell us…
"Mmm… nothing else to do," Katsuo said, and started walking to the ice cream shop, with Tomomi and I behind him.
Katsuo opened the door, and the little bell rang. Minako, Randamu, and Otoko were chatting at a table while Surudoi was leaning against the wall.
"Oh, great! Everyone is here!" Minako exclaimed, and stood up and came over to us.
"Minako had the idea for us to share the photos that Monokuma gave us, to build trust or something," Randamu said from the table, also standing up.
"Our photos?" Tomomi said nervously. "Are you sure?"
"Yep! I'll start by sharing mine," Minako stated, and held out the photograph she was holding.
The photo was of Minako at a young age, hiding under bed sheets while a shadow in the form of a monster was on her wall. The only weird thing about the photo was the blood on the wall, in the exact spots the shadow monster's teeth were.
"See? I don't know how this would get me to kill someone," Minako said, crossing her arms and smirking. Yeah… Monokuma's done a pretty bad job.
"You were scared of monsters?" Katsuo commented, and chuckled. "Nice."
"I was really young! Anyways, now share yours!" Minako commanded. No one moved. After what seemed like a decade, Katsuo took out his photo and gave it to Minako.
Minako passed it around while Katsuo's face reddened. It was a picture of modern-day Katsuo in front of a microphone, either yelling or singing. I thought the latter was true, and passed the photo back to Katsuo.
"I left mine in my dorm," Randamu said, and shrugged when Minako gave him an angry look. I'm pretty sure I did that too.
"So, just to make sure, none of us have a photo that would be murder inducing?" Minako asked, looking at us. Most of us nodded, except for Surudoi, who was looking in the distance.
*Shatter* "Wait! Wait for meeeee!" squeaked a shrill voice, which turned out to be Kujiya. The hamster had jumped through the window, creating a hole and stray glass pieces on the floor. What the heck?! Why didn't Kujiya use the door?
"We're not doing anything," Minako said coldy, a total change of tone from the trigger happy Minako a few seconds ago.
"Why don't you guys trust me?!" Kujiya exclaimed, looking angry. Oh, I wonder.
"You are in kahoots with Monokuma, you tried to poison our water, and you didn't fight back against the stupid bear!" Tomomi exclaimed, angry. Kujiya looked at all of us, holding an angry expression.
"Fine! I can see when I'm not wanted," Kujiya remarked, and went out the door. Geez. He just left a bunch of glass scattered along the floor by jumping through a window, and doesn't offer to pick it up.
"Well, that's all I have to say for now. You guys can continue doing whatever," Minako said in her normal voice, and headed out of the ice cream shop.
-Free Time-
Hmm… maybe I should check on Surudoi, she didn't say anything while talking about the photos. And what happened to the scar on her left arm?
"Hey, Surudoi. Can I talk to you for a second?" I asked, walking up to where Surudoi was leaning against the wall.
"No," Surudoi replied, not even glancing at me. Damn, she's cold. "I saw someone brutally murdered in front of me. I just want this sick killing game to end."
I left Surudoi alone, and decided to sit down at a table. After a minute or so, Randamu decided to sit down across from me.
"What do you want?" I asked Randamu, sitting up. Randamu shrugged in response.
"Well… maybe we could hang out here? Unless you have something else to do," Randamu said, and shrugged again. Should I hang out with him? Yeah, probably. I don't have anything else to do.
I nodded my head, and we spent most of the afternoon (or what I assumed was the afternoon) looking at the ice cream flavors, trying them out, and just generally having a good time. Well, until Randamu brought up a question.
"Do you think we'll ever be able to escape from here? Or be stuck here forever, our friends and families just accepting we're dead? That a murderous bear forced us to kill each other, but now we don't want to? Will we be stuck in this loop, doing the same things every day?"
After leaving Randamu back in the ice cream shop, I headed back to my room, contemplating the questions that Randamu had brought up. I don't even remember anyone, except for everyone here. Do I have a family that remembers me? If nothing happens, I'll never find out. I'll be stuck here, only knowing 17 different people/ weird robots. Maybe the white flower is related to my family in some way? Like how Randamu said I never went to Hope's Peak… I went to a 'reform' program. Is it because I'm branded as a thief?
*Knock, Knock* What? Who's that? Is it Kujiya again? I went over to open the door, and what. There was a brown haired lady at the door, with a sort of prisoner-like shirt and pants that had seemed like they'd been through a lot. A ribbon was wrapped around her hair, making a ponytail.
I gasped, and I was on my bed. What was that? A day-dream? Who was that person? I sat up, rubbing my head, which was starting to throb. Ow.
Maybe I'm hungry? I left my room, and headed over to the cafeteria to grab something to eat. Well, something else was in the cafeteria. Uh… what?
It was Monokuma, with holes inside it revealing the robotic parts inside. There was no one else in the cafeteria, just the broken Monokuma. Hey… what's this bottle? There was a bottle next to Monokuma. I picked it up, and looked at it closer. Does this say… poison?! And it's empty?!
"Woah… what the heck happened?" commented Tomomi, walking into the cafeteria. "Is Monokuma dead?!"
"No, I'm not dead, you fools! Idiots! Complete morons!" Monokuma yelled, and walked into the cafeteria. Ah… so there's more than just one. Great. Just great.
"Sooo… why is there a clone of you lying on the floor?" Tomomi asked, pointing at the mauled bear.
"Idk," Monokuma commented, and left. Seriously?! He just left?
"Hey, I've seen this bottle before! Except it had stuff in it," Tomomi said, looking at the bottle that I held.
"Where did you see it?" I asked, intrigued. Monokuma either doesn't know or doesn't want to answer where this came from.
"Uh… I saw it in the cafeteria, next to the knives. Soo… it didn't go that far," Tomomi answered, and pointed at the cafeteria.
Tomomi and I went to the knives in the cafeteria, and Tomomi shrugged. Wait… there's a stain here! Like something spilled… why would there be poison in a cafeteria?
"Tomomi- wait, where did you get that?" I asked, as Tomomi was holding a sandwich. What- how?
"My backpack?" Tomomi shrugged, then walked off with his sandwich. His backpack..? What? Whatever… I pocketed the poison bottle and walked back to my room.
The door was ajar a little, not how I left it. Uh… did someone come in here? I walked in, but there was no one there. Oh… I guess it was just me, then.
"What's this?" I said in surprise, as there was a note on my bed stand, right next to the picture of the flower. It read: I know what you did. You killed him. Stop lying to us. You're a murderer. You made this game, didn't you? You want more death, more blood, to make yourself satisfied.
I stood in fear, looking down at the note. W-what..? Who wrote this? I never killed anyone! You don't know that. You don't know anything about your past. You could be a serial killer for all you know. I gripped the bedposts, my head hurting even more.
"Stop!" I yelled, the other voice inside my head laughing. How is this possible?! The voice became louder, my head throbbing even more. I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to make the throbbing stop.
"Ayona! Are you ok?!" someone yelled, the door to my room opening. No. I shut my eyes, the voice still yelling at me.
"What's happening to her?"
"Possibly a panic attack, or something else."
"Hey, is she losing consciousness?"
