Chapter 14 : When Evil Strikes PART 1
*(Disclaimer : I do not own Total Drama or any other franchises used in this fanfic.)
*(Recap of last episode)
"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate Crossover! Our contestants wake up to what to them is the best news they've had on the show so far, no longer having to eat Chef's food. Man, all past contestants must be soooo jealous right now. Trust me though, I'll undo that miracle the second I'm giving the chance… which will likely never come considering my two supposed bodyguards have to stay with me for the remainder of the contest! (Sigh) Anyway, instead of a life-threatening experience, my contestants had to go through a Karaoke Challenge, which to some of these guys was way worse. We learned Natsu's not that good at remembering stuff, Voldemort's got too much pride and Sticks' singing may very well have been the most painful thing to happen on this show so far! Sick of his partners in crime questioning his actions, Voldemort decided to quit the alliance. Hope that doesn't come back to bite him. Aqua's and Crow's deduction skills uncover that Sunset is not quite herself, and we have three possible elimanies for the first tie-breaker of the season! Which contestants will win the tie-breaker? Which ones will lose? And what kind of evil-scheme is Voldemort up to now? Find out right now on Total Drama Ultimate Crossover!"
"(Que theme song)
The sun shined down on TDUC Island as the contestants were slowly but surely getting up… well most of them.
"Do you people have to make such a racket in the morning?!" Torchwick complained, still laying in his bed. "Just because we let you three in during the middle of the night doesn't mean you can move around like there's no one else here!"
Natsu shot Roman a glare as he was, surprisingly, one of the first ones up. "Well maybe if you guys told us where Voldie and Sunset are, we wouldn't be up so early to go look for them!"
"We already told you, we don't know where those two are." Roman said truthfully for a change. "Voldemort's being a spoiled child and likely took Sunset with him. But if you and Beast Boy couldn't track him down last night then I seriously doubt you'll have better luck today."
Beast Boy and Natsu glared at the gangster while Crow said judgingly "Well maybe you could help us search instead of lying here on your back!"
"No thanks." Torchwick responded before getting up. "The only thing worth doing today is see which Blue Dragon has to leave. Speaking of which, how ya feeling Green-kid? Not to tired I hope. Whatever you, Badger-girl and Goggles will have to do is sure to get exhausting. Sure it was a good idea to spend most of the night searching the woods?"
Beast Boy frowned at Roman.
"Don't let him bother you Garfield." Crow told him as he, Usopp, Natsu and Happy stood by the door. "If the guy wants to be a prick then let him be one. We have a friend that needs to be found."
Beast nodded as he and the crew went outside. Roman sighted before turning to Itachi. "I don't suppose you have any idea where our former member is right now?"
Itachi shook his head. "My crows are practically all over the island, but have yet to report anything about Voldemort's or Sunset's whereabouts. It's quite possible Voldemort is using his magic to try and evade my search-efforts."
Torchwick frowned at this news. "You never had much trouble spying on him before."
"He never tried to avoid my detection before." Itachi answered with a small concerned look in his eyes which Torchwick didn't spot.
*(Confession Seat)
"Sunset's wellbeing may not be a priority of mine but Voldemort reminds me too much of Orochimaru for comfort." Itachi explained his worries. "I decided to turn a blind-eye towards Voldemort's activities since he was an ally at the time and the rules forbade him from killing Sunset anyway. After last night though, he has made it quite plain that he doesn't care much about rules."
*(End Confession)
Meanwhile, the Blue Dragon girls were already waiting for the others in the cantina.
"Ugh." Cassie said. "I forgot how tiring an all-nighter could be."
"You said it love." Tracer agreed while leaning against her chair. "Even though we searched nearly all night, we failed to find even the slighted sign of Sunset or Voldemort."
"They couldn't have just vanished into thin-air." Aqua stated. "The island is only so big, so if we just continue looking we're bound to find them eventually."
"Too bad Vegeta isn't here anymore." Sticks said as she was laying on the ground looking tired as hell. "He could have found those two in two seconds flat."
"I doubt that." Beerus said as he and Whis were currently waiting for their breakfast. "Whis can't even locate them so either that bald-guy did something to hide them from our sight or they're hiding somewhere Whis can't look."
"Can't you two just race around the island until you find them?" Sticks asked.
"Too much of an effort." The god of destruction answered. "They'll turn up eventually, and if Voldie does try anything, I've gained permission from Chris to destroy him."
"Breakfast's ready!" Tikki announced as a whole plate of pancakes was dropped in front of them while Marinette let herself fall on a table.
"Just pancakes?" Beerus was disappointed. "That's not nearly as big a feast as the one you had prepared yesterday."
"Give the girl a bit of a break Lord Beerus." Whis jumped to Marinette's defense. "She was already exhausted from all that searching last night, so it makes sense she made less breakfast then yesterday."
"Plus she got up early the night before too." Aqua pointed out.
Beerus scoffed before putting three pancakes on his fork and devouring half of them with a single bite. "Well at least they're still tasty, but what about those macaroons you promised us?"
Marinette lifted her head tiredly from the table before putting a plate filled with pink, yellow and brown macaroons on the table. "Here you go (sleepy-gasp), as promised."
"So these are macaroons huh?" Beerus said with a critical look on his face. "There a lot smaller than I thought they would be."
"Macaroons are supposed to be small." Tikki told the destroyer.
Beerus pinched his nail into a pink macaroon and eyed it carefully before putting it in his mouth. His eyes widened at the sweet taste and cheered. "Amazing! It's so sweet and full of flavor. Is that strawberry I taste? These things are divine!"
Whis put a yellow one in his mouth. "My what a unique flavor! Lemon on a pastry, what won't earthlings think of next?"
Marinette rubbed her eyes relieved the two gods were satisfied as the door suddenly opened.
"We're here!" Usopp announced as he and the rest of the boys came inside.
"Any news from Sunset yet?" Crow asked.
"None." Cassie stated. "Eat you breakfast and get ready, we're going searching again once everyone has finished."
"But we've already been all over the island!" Happy stated. "I couldn't even find them by air."
"We already searched the volcano, mountain and jungle." Usopp summarized. "I honestly have no idea where else they could be hiding."
"What about the ruins?" Tracer asked. "Has anyone checked those out yet?"
The group looked at one another but none them said they did.
Marinette started looking hopeful. "If that's the only place we haven't searched yet then Sunset has to be there!"
"Maybe." Cassie said before turning to Whis. "Have you gone over the ruins with that staff of yours."
"Hmm, let's see…" Whis stated as he looked in his staff. "That's odd. I can't look into these ruins at all."
Beerus swallowed the last macaroon and looked surprised at his servant. "How in all the universes is that even possible?"
"I'm not sure." Whis answered honestly. "Maybe there's some form of energy obstructing my view."
"Or the writer did it to prevent us from finding those two too fast." Sticks commented but was ignored.
"Well what are we waiting for then!" Natsu got up looking fired up. "Let's go to those ruins and-"
"Attention all tie-breaker competitors!" Chris announced through the speakers. "Please gather at the beach so I can give you your tie-breaking challenge!"
Chris announcement annoyed most of the competitors while Sticks, Tracer and Beast Boy stiffened up.
"(Sigh) Looks like we'll first have to see what Chris cooked up this time." Crow said irritated as they all started heading toward the beach.
*(Confession Seat)
"Let's hope their tie-breaker won't take too long." Aqua said worryingly. "Who knows what kind of evil scheme Voldemort is brewing right now."
*(End Confession)
In the ruins, Voldemort was indeed busy brewing something… in a black caldron.
"This is sooooooo boring…" Dark-Sunset stated as she walked into the old room. "Are you done yet? I thought you said it would only take a little while, and that was hours ago!"
"Be patient." Voldemort all but commanded as he put some dust inside a cauldron that was bubbling up. "This is the first time I'm doing something like this and I can't afford any mistakes."
"Well if I were you, I'd hurry it up." Sunset stated. "The old magic in these ruins might hide us from the others, but I doubt they'll overlook these for long."
"By the time they figure out we're hiding here it will be too late." Voldemort assured her. "Besides, it was my magic that truly reawakened this place, as well as my spell making us both unable to leave a scent behind. Now go back into those tunnels and continue looking for that relic. And please don't complain to me when I'm working on my little concoction. I don't want it to blow up in my face."
*(Confession Seat (Evil-Sunset))
"That makes one of us." Dark-eyed Sunset stated without remorse.
*(End Confession)
All the other contestants gathered at the beach, waiting for Chris and Chef to show up.
Crow looked around and said "Guess we shouldn't be surprised neither Voldemort or Sunset showed up."
"Won't they be disqualified from the contest if they don't come?" Usopp wondered.
"I doubt it." Cassie stated. "This isn't really a challenge but a tie-breaker, one neither Voldemort or Sunset needs to participate in."
Just then, Chris and Chef showed up on their scooters.
"Welcome to the very first tie-breaker challenge of the season!" Chris announced before getting of his scooter. "Will the participating contestants please step forward?"
Beast Boy, Sticks and Tracer did just that, though it didn't go unnoticed by Chris that these three looked more than a little tired.
"You know, if it weren't for the fact that I don't want to wait days for this tie-breaker to be over, I would have given you an awakathon-challenge. Luckily for you three I want to get this done fast so let's begin, shall we?" Chris said before pulling three identical envelopes out of his pocket. "Each of these envelopes contains a map. For this challenge, you most all travel to the spot highlighted on your map and pass the challenge that is set-up there. Once you complete said challenge, you will receive a small Blue Dragon flag. Once you've obtained said flag, you must travel back here and hand your flag over to me. Do that and you will be allowed to stay on this island and continue your journey. However, whichever one of you arrives last will be eliminated from the contest and send to the Loser-Dimension. Any questions?"
Marinette was about to ask-
"That doesn't involve currently missing participants?" Chris added causing Marinette to frown at the man.
"Yeah what kind of challenge do we have to do once we find our flag?" Tracer asked.
"Oh all three locations have a different challenge." Chris explained. "One will require brawn, the other some thinking, and the last will require a bit of bravery. Now if you three would please pick an envelope. They've all been shoveled together so whichever map you'll receive will be completely up to faith."
Chris pointed the envelopes in the participants direction and all three of them approached Chris at the same time. Beast Boy was the first to pick as he took the one straight in the middle. Sticks took the one on the left while Tracer picked the one on the right.
"Mine says I need to go to Mount DragonFang." Beast Boy stated before quickly turning into a cheetah that was holding the map in his fangs. "See you guys later!"
"Good luck Garfield." Aqua cheered for him.
"DevilSeat Scorch it is for me." Tracer said as she blinked towards the volcano.
"And off she goes." Cassie stated impressed by how far Tracer could blink.
"I have to go to the jungle!" Sticks said happily as she started running towards said jungle.
As all three participants had left, there was an awkward silence at the beach.
…
Crow broke the silence. "Sooooo, are we gonna watch how they do on some TV or-?"
"Nah I don't have any monitors set-up." Chris told them as he took out a beach-chair and started relaxing. "You guys don't have to wait here if you don't want to. You can go back to searching for your missing teammates or whatever. I'll call you all when the first two competitors have returned so you can all see who will have to leave. Oh, but you're not allowed to help or obstruct any of the participating competitors. Do that and you will join them on their way to the loser-group. "
"Coconut smoothie?" Chef offered as he was also sitting in a beach-chair. Chris accepted it immediately and started drinking.
"Hey! Where's my smoothie?!" Beerus angrily asked while Whis made another pair of chairs appear with his staff. Chef rolled his eyes before taking two more smoothies out of nowhere and handing them over to the deities.
*(Confession Seat)
"Well at least we can go back to looking for Sunset." Marinette stated.
"If she's really hiding in those ruins then I don't think she'll be easy to find." Tikki pointed out. "Those tunnels go on for miles and she could be hiding anywhere down there."
"But it's the only place we haven't checked out yet." Marinette rebottled. "And with Whis being unable to check those ruins out, it's the only place they could really be hiding."
*(End Confession)
*(Confession Seat)
"Back to searching I guess." Cassie sighted. "I hope Tracer will win this tie-breaker. She's the only other soldier on this island and the two of us just get along."
*(End Confession)
*(Confession Seat)
"I hope Garfield will stay in the contest." Aqua voiced. "We get along pretty well and I'd rather not see him leave because of my shortsightedness. (Sigh) If me and Garfield had just voted on Sticks, this tie-breaker wouldn't even be happening."
*(End Confession)
*(Confession Seat)
"I think it's pretty obvious who will lose this tie-breaker." Torchwick stated confidently. "The most important factor in this challenge is speed and Green-kid and Goggles are much faster than Badger-girl. I'll admit though, Sticks has gotten the best location for her challenge. Somebody who's lived their whole lives in a jungle will have an easier time navigating in one. Then again, she also has an injured shoulder so I don't think she'll be swinging from the tree-vines or something stupid like that."
*(End Confession)
We then cut over to Sticks swinging from some trees.
"Geronimooooo!" Sticks yelled as she swung towards another three only for her shoulder to start hurting at the last second causing her to swing the wrong direction and smash face-first into a tree. "…Aw."
*(Confession Seat)
"I swear, the writer likes seeing me in pain." Sticks stated while pushing her face back into place.
*(End Confession)
The none-competing participants started making their way toward the ruins only for Crow to turn around and take a look at the remaining evil-alliance members. "So what are you three gonna do? Mess with the challenge again?"
Torchwick had considered that at first but said. "Nah, Chris was pretty adamant about no one interfering. I think I'll just stay here and enjoy the sun for a bit."
"Fine by me." Azula greed as the Evil-alliance moved away.
Tikki wasn't happy about this. "It's their own teammate's fault that Sunset's gone missing and they don't even have the decency to help out?"
"What did you expect?" Natsu spoke up. "They're bad-guys. If anything they're probably happy Sunset's gone missing."
"Just ignore them." Cassie advised. "We've got a lot of ruins to search through and I don't want to waste any time worrying about those three."
"Right sooo… which entrance are we gonna take?" Happy asked.
"The one in the jungle." Cassie answered. "It's the most center-positioned entrance so we'll enter through there and split into teams."
As the team started heading out towards the ruins, Itachi gave them a subtle look before turning to his two partners. "If it's all the same to the two of you I'd like to follow them to those ruins. We still don't know what Voldemort is exactly up to and I get the feeling whatever it is, it won't be beneficial for any of us."
"Knock yourself out." Roman answered as he sat down and started drinking a smoothie. "Just give us a heads-up if anything interesting happens."
Itachi nodded and ran towards the jungle, ninja-style before disappearing completely into the overgrown bushes.
Azula turned towards Torchwick. "Not that I have anything against taking a day off but are you sure leaving the situation to Itachi's a good idea? We don't exactly know very much about him. Who's to say he's not cooperating with Voldemort behind the scenes?"
"You worry too much." Torchwick stated as handed the fire-princess a smoothie. "Let him and the idiots find Voldemort first, less work for us."
Azula sighted before taking the smoothie from Roman's hand. "Where did you get these anyway?"
"Stole them from Chef when he wasn't looking."
*(Confession Seat)
"Once a thief, always a thief." Roman stated proudly.
*(End Confession)
"No matter how many times I have to go into this mountain, it stays cold!" Beast Boy complained as he moved through the mines in the form of a wolf, since cheetahs aren't exactly known for living in the snow. I didn't take him long to find his challenge.
"Ah there it is!" Beast Boy happily exclaimed before turning back to normal. "All right, now what kind of test do you have in store for good old Beast Boy."
Beast Boy entered the room and saw it was filled to the brink with giant square-blocks of ice. There was also a massive digital scale in the middle of the room with a small metal-box beside it. The titan looked at the board right next to the scale and started reading it.
"Challenge : Put enough weight on the scale so that it reads out 3000 kilograms." Beast Boy readed before looking at all the ice surrounding him. "Sounds simple enough, let's get to it!"
Beast Boy turned into his gorilla form and lifted two big ice-blocks off the ground with ease before placing them on the scale. The scale then read 238,45 kg.
This confused Beast Boy a bit, so he removed one of the ice-blocks and now the scale read 112,23 kg. "Wait. These ice-blokes don't weigh the same amount and their weight isn't rounded out either? Oh, well doesn't really matter. Now let's get back to carrying."
*(Confession Seat)
"With my animal-strength, I'll have 3000 kilos on that scale before you know it." Beast Boy stated confidently.
*(End Confession)
Tracer was the next participant to find their challenge. Unlike with Beast Boy though, her challenge was located at the very top of DevilSeat Scorch. Once she arrived, she saw a giant mess of tied together ladders going from one end of the volcano to the other. These ladders did not follow a straight-line however. They started going straight but then turned left and right and left again. It was basically a labyrinth made out of ladders! Tracer could see the metal-box containing her flag on the other side. She then started reading the challenge on the board.
"Challenge : Successfully travel to the other side using the ladder-path in front of you. If you fall you must start over again…" Tracer looked down in the volcano and saw lava-spots everywhere that she could easily fall into. "…Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm dead if I fall off. Oh well, let's begin."
Tracer put her foot on the laddery path and steadily started making her way to the other-side all the while looking pretty confident she would pass this challenge.
*(Confession Seat)
"I wouldn't be a good pilot if I was afraid of heights." Tracer stated confidently. "But I better keep my blinking in check for now. Too big a change I'll end up falling through the holes."
*(End Confession)
Sticks was the last one to arrive at her challenge as she ended up near the race-track. The race-track however had nothing to do with her challenge. She went towards a board with the metal-box containing her flag right beside it. Unlike the other boxes however, hers a 3 digit slot on it.
"Challenge : " Sticks started reading. "Solve the following equation to get the code for the box. Oh geez, hopefully this equation isn't too difficult."
The equation at the bottom of the board read:
(((2!x3)/0.1)/6x10^4)-(((500000/5)+2.39)/w)x10391304347x((dx10^-4)+0.175838)/200000–0.159585 = ?
Sticks mouth fell wide open as her brain had decided to shut down.
*(Confession Seat)
"HOW IN THE MULTIVERSE AM I SUPPOSE TO SOLVE AN EQUATION LIKE THIS WHEN I'VE NEVER EVEN GONE TO SCHOOL?!" Sticks yelled out in anger before trying to compromise. "Any chance I can call Tails real quick?"
*(End Confession)
As the competing participants started working on their tests, the rescue team was still looking for an entrance into the ruins.
"It should be around here somewhere." Aqua said.
"Well I'm not seeing anyAAAAAH!" Usopp yelled as he fell down the hole.
"There it is!" Natsu shouted as everyone started gathering around the hole.
"You alright Usopp?" Marinette asked.
"I'm fine!" Usopp yelled back. "The only thing I hurt is my pride… and my butt."
*(Confession Seat)
"Glad it wasn't me this time." Crow stated happily.
*(End Confession)
Everyone jumped into the ruins and saw the path split in two.
"Natsu, can you smell Sunset or Voldemort down here?" Cassie asked.
"Sorry I got nothing." Natsu told her. "This place smells a lot weirder then it used to though."
"Probably Voldemort's doing." Aqua reasoned. "He doesn't want us to find him anytime soon."
"Then I propose we split into two teams." Cassie proposed. "Me, Crow, Marinette and Tikki will go right while Aqua, Usopp, Natsu and Happy go left. Any problems?"
Nobody argued against her. "All right, then let's go. Oh, but be sure to be on the look-out for traps. This place is full of them."
"You worry too much Cassie." Happy told her as he sat on an old torch. "The traps down are really old so they can't be all that dange-"
Suddenly the torch went down and small holes started opening up in the opposite wall that all started shooting darts towards the winged cat. Happy screamed but was protected from the sharp darts by Aqua who quickly made an Ice-block appear in front of Happy to shield him.
Happy let out a sigh of relief. "I thought I was cat-meat for sure."
"Now will you be careful!" Cassie berated the cat. "Just because this place is old doesn't mean the traps are any less dangerous. Now let's start searching already."
As the two teams split up, Itachi jumped down the hole and eyed both direction. He quickly made a shadow-clone that went left while he followed the group that went right.
*(Confession Seat)
"Splitting up into equal teams was a good strategy." Itachi commented Cassie's quick thinking. "But I doubt Voldemort will be found so easily."
*(End Confession)
Beast Boy had very quickly piled up a bunch of ice-blocks on the scale and reached 3 tons easily.
…Yet his box remained closed. See, Beast Boy's task was to make the scale read out 3000 kilograms exactly, and right now it read 3008,51.
"Stupid picky scale." Beast Boy complained as he pushed one of the ice-blocks away only for the weight to now read 2950,36. "… This is gonna take a while, isn't it?"
*(Confession Seat)
"Couldn't Chris have just given me ice-blocks that all weigh the same?!" Beast Boy yelled out. "How am I supposed to get exactly 3000 kilograms on this thing if all ice-blocks weigh a different amount?!"
*(End Confession)
"Almost there…" Tracer said to no one in particular as she was in the homestretch. "One quick blink and I'm all set."
Tracer blinked the final stretch of the ladder-labyrinth and made it to the other side without any problem. The metal-box opened up revealing a Blue Dragon flag.
*(Confession Seat)
"That was easy." Tracer stated. "Now I just have to get back and my spot is secure."
*(End Confession)
"OH COME ON!" Dark-Sunset yelled as this was like the 50th empty room she found. "Why did whoever build this place make so many empty rooms! I've been all over the place and I still haven't found-"
Sunset stopped her ranting as she suddenly heard foot-steps approaching her. She quickly hid in the empty chamber and listened to the intruders.
"Man these tunnels are long!" Crow complained. "How far can these ruins possible go?"
"For all we know they could cover the entire island." Cassie stated. "This would certainly be the perfect place for Voldemort to go into hiding."
"SUNSET!" Marinette yelled out. "WHERE ARE YOU!"
Tikki was calling out to her too. "SUNSET! ARE YOU DOWN HERE!"
"I don't think Sunset would respond even if she heard you." Cassie told the two. "Didn't you tell us Sunset's probably brainwashed?"
"Which brings us to a difficult question." Crow cut in. "Even if we find Sunset, how are we gonna break Voldemort's control over her?"
"No idea." Marinette admitted. "If she was just Akumatized all I'd have to do is break the possessed object but I don't know if Sunset even has anything like that."
"The only way we can free Sunset is by finding Voldemort and have him undo whatever he did to Sunset." Tikki voiced her thoughts on the matter. "But we first need to find Sunset if we want to cure her."
"Fair enough." Cassie figured. "Now come on, we have to keep searching."
The group moved on as Sunset released a breath she didn't know she was holding. Then she accidently stepped on a loose-tire and fell through the floor.
"AW!" Sunset yelled. "Stupid ancient floor, now where am… oh."
Sunset stared towards something in the middle of the room and an evil-smirk returned to her face. "Perfect."
*(Confession Seat (Evil-Sunset))
"Now we can finally get this show started, hehehe." Evil-Sunset snickered.
*(End Confession)
Sticks was just lying on the grass at this point staring at the equation in dismay. It was pretty obvious she had given up-
*(Confession Seat)
"What do you mean, given up?!" Sticks yelled through the phone. "I ain't gonna quit because of some stupid math-problem you found on some random site."
The manager sighted. "The viewers didn't need to know that."
"Well you know what I'm gonna do?" Sticks shouted. "I'm gonna try every possible combination on that lock and I won't stop until the stupid thing opens! I don't care if that takes an hour or even the entire day!"
*(End Confession)
Sticks held the lock in her hands and got to work. "Let's see, 000 is obviously not it. 001…"
The box stayed locked.
Sticks sighted. "This is gonna take forever. 002-"
There was a clicking sound and the box was now open.
Once again, Sticks looked genially baffled. "WHAT?!"
*(Confession Seat)
"Yep." The manager said to Sticks. "The correct answer is indeed 2. I had a feeling you were gonna try and take the hard-route, so I made sure to pick a low-number. Otherwise, the viewers would have gotten bored pretty quickly."
Sticks was silent for a second before saying "I'm not sure rather I'm angry at you for trolling me like this or happy that my test's finally over."
*(End Confession)
Back at the beach, Beerus and Whis had separated themselves from the others as they were currently enjoying their coconut smoothies while laying on some beach-chairs.
"Whis, we need to travel to other dimensions more often." Beerus stated. "Every earth we've been to so far has given us nothing but the best qualities of food imaginable. Admittedly, this world had a bit of a rough start with that hotpot but everything else has been downright delicious."
"I couldn't agree more." Whis stated as he put his empty smoothie away. "But I do need to remind you again that dimension traveling is forbidden, even to us deities. So I advise we go back home as soon as this trip is over."
"Ugh, maybe that is for the best." Beerus reluctantly agreed. "After all, if the Omni-kings somehow found out about this, I'd be erased for sure."
Just then, Whis' staff started blinking grabbing the gods their attention.
"That's weird." Whis said. "I didn't expect any calls today."
Whis answered the call but the staff projected nothing other than some static and a very unclear voice. "HeLlLo, C-an y—ou hEeAR mE?"
"Very unclearly." Whis stated as he looked really confused. "You're image isn't getting through either. If you don't mind me asking, who are you exactly?"
"Iiiijt's mE YjU FffeslS, Yo-you're ONiKijfmke!"
"Hold on I'm trying to make your voice clearer." Whis told their contactor as he finally managed to make the voice understandable but still filled with static, same for the screen.
"It's me you fools! You're Omni-king!"
Beerus immediately spit-out the rest of his smoothie before staring full-eyed at the staff. "Z-ZENO-SAMA! D-do what to we own the pleasure?"
"I've learned you and Whis are currently in another dimension! You both know that's against the rules!"
Beerus' face had gone pale. "I-uh, I can explain your excellency! B-but how did you learn I went to another dimension? Did Whis-"
"Don't look at me my lord." Whis stated also surprised Zeno was calling them like this. "I haven't said a word to anyone we're here. Also Omni-king? I still don't have any visual and your voice is still unrecognizable."
"That's because I'm trying to contact you from another dimension!" The 'Omni-king' explained. "As for how I learned uhm, … I watch the show!"
Beerus was pure white at this point as he started kneeling on the beach with his head in the sand. "FORGIVE ME MY LORD! I WAS NEVER PLANNING TOO-"
"You can give me your explanation in person!" The 'Omni-king' demanded. "I'm ordering both you and your attendant to come to me immediately! The second you're in front of me you will explain exactly what you did and then I'll decide how to punish you, am I clear!"
"Y-yes my king!" Beerus hastily answered. "Me and Whis will come to you as soon as possible."
"You will come to me right now! Any second you're late will only result in a graver punishment! Now move it!"
And just like that the call ended and Beerus was crying on the floor. "That's it! We're finished! We're gonna be turned into absolute nothingness! Oh Whis, why did you never talk me out this stupid idea of mine!"
"I did do that." Whis reminded him before eyeing his staff carefully. "I don't think I've ever heard the Omni-king be so demanding before, not to mention rude. Also, I'm pretty sure only one person was talking to us. We're was the second Omni-king in all of this?"
"The second one's probably so furious he didn't even want to talk to us!" Beerus panicked. "Whis! Get us to the Omni-kings sanctuary immediately! Maybe they'll spare me if I show them how sorry I am!"
"Shouldn't we first tell the others we're leaving? It's quite rude to simply-"
"NOW WHIS!" Beerus screamed at Whis and the angel didn't want to argue further, so reluctantly he beamed himself and Beerus away without anybody noticing… somehow.
*(Confession Seat(Camper-style))
"I find it odd that that call was so unclear." Whis stated. "Even if we're in another dimension this is the Omni-kings we're talking about. They should have no problem contacting us even if we were on the other side of existence. Something seems really off about all this."
*(End Confession)
Voldemort currently had his head in a bubbling cauldron but quickly pulled it out.
"OW!" He yelled. "Okay, that was a lot more painful than I thought it would be but my plan seemed to have worked. Those two will be out of my hair for a while."
"What hair?" a voice spoke up and Voldemort quickly turned around to see Aqua, Usopp, Natsu and Happy.
Natsu snickered at that question. "Good one Happy."
"What the- how did you fools find me?!" Voldemort asked angrily.
"Wasn't difficult when you started screaming like that." Usopp answered to which Voldemort face-palmed.
Aqua had her Keyblade in hand and pointed it at the wizard. "All right Voldemort, you're gonna tell us what you're up to and what you've done with Sunset. Where is she?"
Voldemort laughed. "Oh she's around. I send her out on an important job to recover something for me." Just then the ruins started shaking a little. "Ah and it looks like she has found it."
"What are you talking about?" Aqua asked worryingly.
"Oh it hardly matters to the three of you." Voldemort said dismissingly.
"THERE'S FOUR OF US!" Happy yelled. "And why would it not matter to us?"
"Because none of you are leaving this place alive!" Faster than the eye could see, Voldemort's wand fell out of his sleeve and into his hand. He pointed towards the group and yelled "AVADA KEDAVRA!"
A green beam shot towards the group catching all of them by surprise. The spell speeded as fast as lightning toward Aqua who did not react in time. The beam would have hit Aqua head-on had it not been for a certain raven-haired ninja quickly pushing her out of the way.
Usopp, Natsu, Happy all looked in shock as Itachi got hit by the beam, blasting him a few feet away.
Aqua was disoriented for a few seconds but quickly turned her worried gaze at the falling ninja. "Itachi!"
"Ah so the spy has been following you." Voldemort observed. "I'd be lying if I said I'm not thankful your watchful eyes have finally been shut!"
"YOU BALD BASTARD!" Natsu shouted in anger before taking a deep breath. "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!"
A huge stream of fire went towards the wizard who pointed his wand in retaliation and split the beam in two, protecting himself from the flames.
"Itachi!" Aqua quickly ran towards Itachi with Usopp not far behind.
"This is bad!" Usopp stated. "Crow told me about this spell. It's what Voldemort used when he tried to destroy that demon a while back. It didn't work but it's supposed to kill whoever it hits!"
"Itachi, please be all-" But Aqua sentence got interrupted when Itachi suddenly poofed into smoke.
"Oh good." Usopp let out a sigh of relief. "It was just one of his clones."
"He… saved me." Aqua stated in astonishment. "If he hadn't pushed me out of the way-"
"Look you can thank our apparent stalker later!" Usopp shouted. "We need to take Voldemort down before he tries to kill us again!"
Aqua, still in a bit of shock from the near death-experience, nodded at the sniper before focusing on the fight.
"Come on Natsu!" Happy cheered on Natsu's back. "Teach that bad excuse of a wizard what we to do people who try to kill our friends!"
"You got it buddy!" Natsu muttered while still breathing fire at the wizard who was starting to get overwhelmed.
"I-Impossible!" Voldemort shouted as he noticed the fire started to get closer to him. "Your fire's as strong as that of a full-grown dragon! How can your fire possibly be this powerfull?!"
"I'M FAIRY TAIL'S FIRE DRAGON SLAYER, GENIUS!" Natsu shouted but continued his attack. "A DRAGON TAUGHT ME HOW TO WIELD THIS POWER SO THAT I COULD USE IT TO TAKE DOWN JERKS LIKE YOU!"
Voldemort defense was starting to break. He snarled but eventually stopped his spell so he could turn into black-smoke. He flew underneath the fire and quickly made a run for it into another tunnel. "IT'S ALREADY TOO LATE YOU FOOLS! MY PLAN IS ALREADY IN MOTION! SOON YOU WILL ALL BOW TO ME!"
"Boy that guy sure loves to hear himself talk." Happy tried to joke but Natsu was in no mood.
"That jerk just killed Itachi!" Natsu growled bitterly. "They were supposed to be partners and he just killed him without a second thought! That guy needs to-"
"Natsu!" Aqua tried calming the dragon-slayer down. "It's okay. Voldemort only destroyed a clone of Itachi. The real Itachi's still around."
Natsu let out a relieved sigh at that. "Good, for a second I was afraid I lost the best challenge I had on this island."
"I thought those were Saitama and Vegeta?" Happy asked.
"Yeah but they're both gone and Itachi's the only one of them I've actually fought against-" Natsu then blinked as he realized something. "Wait a clone? YOU MEAN ITACHI WAS SPYING ON US?!"
"He's likely spying on Cassie's team as well." Aqua realized. "We better find them and tell them what has happened."
"What about Voldemort?" Usopp asked. "We can't just let him get away. Not after he just tried to kill us!"
Aqua knew Usopp had a point so she turned to Natsu and Happy. "You two are our best chance against Voldemort. Think you can go after him?"
Natsu sniffed the air for a bit before smirking. "Seems like I burned away whatever was preventing me from smelling him before. I'll chase Baldie down and smash his face against the ground!"
"You do that." Usopp said as the grin on Natsu's face was really reminding him of that of his captain. "Now let's go find the others."
"Right." Aqua nodded as the team split up.

"I wonder why Itachi saved me." Aqua pondered. "I know that it was only his clone but he could have let me die and have one less competitor to worry about. From a tactical point of view, his decision makes no sense. I know I would have saved him had our positions been reversed but…"

Voldemort was putting his sleeve out that had caught fire during his escape. "Okay then. It would seem that so-called fire-wizard is a lot more powerful than I had anticipated. His fire-breath reminded me of the dragons I have back in my world. Perhaps I chose the wrong magic-user to bend to my will. Well no matter, I still have my secret weapons in play, and that boy won't surprise me a second time!"

Beast Boy was sweating like crazy as he saw the scale read 2902.20 kg. "Okay this is impossible! No matter how I rearrange the ice-blocks, I can't get that dumb-scale to hit 3000 kg precise! I thought this was a test of brawn, not brain!"
In his frustration Beast Boy sat down on the edge of the scale and saw the weight increasing again. "… Wait a second."
Beast Boy climbed the massive pile of ice-blocks and once he was at the top turned into a porcupine adding 20 kilograms to the scale. When he noticed that wasn't heavy enough he turned into a kangaroo, changing his weight into roughly 50 kilograms. He then started to think bigger and turned into a panda weighting 100 kilograms. When he saw the scale read out 3002.20 kg, he made himself a tiny bit lighter until the scale hit 3000 kilograms exactly, causing the metal-box containing Beast Boy's flag to finally open.
"FINALLY!" Panda Beast Boy cheered before he got off the ice-blocks, turned back to normal and grabbed the flag.

"Who says I can't think of smart solutions?" Beast Boy boasted more than a little proud of himself. "I'm glad that box didn't close as soon as I got off the scale. If that had happened, I'd have rage-quite right then and there."

Tracer was racing through the volcano and could see the exit from afar. She was heading straight to it when she suddenly heard something heading her way.
"What the-?!" Tracer barely managed to dodge the giant flaming-boulder that was thrown her way. She turned towards the direction the boulder came from and dismayed. "Not you again."

"This has to be the absolute worse time for him to show up again!" Tracer with a small bit of her hair on fire.

As Itachi's clone had poofed, the knowledge of the clone returned to Itachi who was currently spying on Cassie's group. The experience of the death-curse however was so abysmal that it temporary felt to Itachi like he was really dying! He stumbled forward and fell on the floor.
"W-what was-" Itachi didn't get any time to pounder it as his fall had not gone unnoticed.
"Hey!" Crow yelled at the ninja. "What are you doing down here?"
"He was spying on us." Cassie figured as she took out her guns. "Marinette!"
"Right." Marinette knew exactly what Cassie wanted her to do. "Tikki! Spo-"
"That won't- urgh!" Itachi tried to get up but he was still a little disorganized. "-be necessary. I did not come here looking for a fight."
"No, you just came to spy on us." Cassie said accusingly.
"Did Roman order you to follow us?" Crow asked demandingly. "Or are you secretly in cahoots with Baldie!"
"Neither." Itachi honestly answered. "I came here on my own account. And for your own well-being."
"Yeah right." Crow waved him off. "Why would someone who's willing to work with a criminal, maniac princess and deranged wizard care about us?"
"You're letting my current allegiance blind you." Itachi stated. "Voldemort left our alliance and is no doubt trying to sabotage the game. He's obviously no longer interested in the price-money, no he's after something else."
"Such as? Tikki questioned.
"Think about it." Itachi said as he got fully back to his senses. "There's only one object on this island Voldemort is truly interested in. He's been nothing but interested in it after realizing just how powerful it really is."
Cassie knew exactly what Itachi was referring to. "You're talking about Chris' Loser-remote, aren't you?"
"Indeed." Itachi confirmed. "Roman and Azula have an interest in it as well, but they don't possess the means to take it."
"Since Beerus and Whis are protecting it." Cassie reasoned.
"That and the fact they don't know how to use it." Itachi answered which caused the group to look at him confused. "I've paid close attention to that remote. There are hundreds of buttons on it and every time Chris has used it he's pressed a different combination. He never presses the same combination twice even when he does the exact same thing like sending someone to that Loser-dimension."
"So even if someone takes that remote, they won't know how to use it." Marinette followed.
"I shared that information with all of my alliance members, including Voldemort." Itachi revealed. "I did so so that my allies would have second thoughts about acquiring that remote even if Beerus and Whis were to be no longer present. The only way they could learn how to use it is from Chris but both Roman and Azula know that you'd never allow them to just torture him for that information. They may be confident about facing one or two of you, but all of you? No, too big a risk for them."
"But you think Voldemort is going to make a break for that remote?" Cassie asked. "Even though there are literal gods protecting it?"
"I have a feeling he's already figured out a way to get rid of them." Itachi revealed. "The other group has located Voldemort and are likely fighting with him as we speak."
"How do you know that?" Marinette asked.
"The clone I used to follow them got destroyed a little while ago." Itachi revealed. "The feeling my clone returned to me was unlike anything I had felt before. That's because Voldemort used his death-curse to destroy him."
"Death-curse?" Tikki did not like the sound of that.
Itachi explained. "As its name suggests, it's a curse that immediately kills you on contact."
"I've seen it before…" Crow remembered. "It's the spell he used against that demon. It looked like he was slowly dying before roaring back to life."
"My clone died the second he was hit." Itachi revealed unnerving the group even more. "And the spell was not aimed at me. Had my clone not taking the hit, Aqua would have been killed."
"WHAT?!" Crow, Cassie, Marinette and Tikki shouted in shock.
"Voldemort's only interest is in that remote, and he's willing to kill anyone that gets in his way." Itachi continued. "His plan's already underway so we need to return to Chris as fast as possible."
"Hold on a second!" Crow still had questions. "Why should we believe anything you just said! You haven't exactly giving us much reason to trust you!"
"You have a point Crow." Cassie admitted before glaring at Itachi. "Why would you bother saving Aqua? And why would you want to stop Voldemort?"
Itachi simply answered. "For a Shinobi such as myself, the mission must come first. And Voldemort's action are currently endangering my mission."
"And that that mission is?" Cassie asked a little curiously. She knew how determined ninjas are when I comes to missions.
"To secure the prize-money for the benefit of my organization." Was all Itachi was willing to reveal. "Now if you would please follow me back to Chris-"
"Sorry." A malevolent voice cut in catching the groups attention. "But none of are leaving without my says so."
Everyone looked up and saw Sunset sitting on a broken pillar a few feet way. They saw the black-sun on Sunset's forehead, as well as her dark-covered blue-eyes shine in the darkness.
"Sunset!" Marinette said in relief but didn't ignore Sunset's makeover. "What happened to you?"
"And why do your eyes look like you're a dark-singer?" Crow couldn't help but notice.
Dark-Sunset snickered evilly at the people below her. "Let's just say I've changed a little these past days. But if I were you guys, I'd by a little less focused on me and a little more focused on them!"
Suddenly the tunnel got flooded with dozens of ancient statues walking in from several different tunnels, all focused on the make-shift team.
"Not these things again." Cassie said in annoyance as she took command. "Marinette, transform and assist me in the front! Itachi, you handle the back! Crow, stay between us and see if you can create some distractions."
"Got it!" Crow agreed as he activated his Duel-Disk.
"Understood." Was Itachi's reply as took out his kunai.
Marinette looked worried at the evil-smiling Sunset but Tikki flew in front of her. "I get that you're worried about her but you've got to focus Marinette. We can't help Sunset if these statues get a hold of us."
Marinette knew Tikki was right and in a worried tone said. "Tikki. Spots on."
Marinette transformed as the statues got closer and closer, all the while Sunset just sat on the pillar and watched.
"Let's see if you can handle these stone protectors." Sunset grinned as she knew perfectly well why these statues had suddenly shown up. "Once you're done with them, the real show can begin."
*(Confession Show)
"Well if we ever had any doubts Sunset was brainwashed their gone now." Cassie stated while looking down at the ground. "This reminds me too much of the Revenants we have back home, but at least we might still be able to turn her back. That is, if we can catch Quan Chi 2.0."

"Wow today was boring." Roman complained as he and Azula had been at the beach all day. "Seriously, this has been the quietest day we've had on this island so far."
"It was rather dull." Azula agreed. "Never thought taking a day off could be so boring."
"You can say that again." Chris agreed as he removed his sunglasses and got out of his beach-chair. "I'm dying of boredom over here! When are those tie-breaking participants gonna show up? They've been gone all day!"
"Maybe you should have given them easier tasks." Chef commented. "Maybe then we wouldn't have had to sit here all day and wait for-"
Just then, a green jaguar ran towards Chris with a flag in its mouth. "I'm back!" He said before transforming back to normal and handing the flag over to Chris. "But let me tell you, that was the hardest challenge I've had on this island so far!"
"Noted." Chris took the flag but quickly threw it on the ground because it was covered in spit. "Ew! Couldn't you have just carried it in your hands like normal person?!"
"Great." Azula said without much enthusiasm. "The green one gets to stay. How nice."
Roman expected him to pass so he wasn't that surprised. "Guess all we have to do now is wait for Tracer to show up and we can call it day."
"Well keep waiting!" A new voice spoke up causing everyone at the beach to look towards the jungle. Sticks jumped out the bushes covered in leafs and scraps. After spitting a leaf out of her mouth she walked to Chris and gave him her flag. "Bet you weren't expecting me to pass this challenge now did you?"
"I didn't." Chris honestly answered. "Good thing I didn't bet on who would pass. I'd have lost a fortune."
"Same here." Roman agreed as he would never have suspected the badger to make it through. "Well at least this means a more trouble-some competitor will be eliminated so I guess I can live with this."
"Speaking of which though." Azula couldn't hide her curiosity. "How come the girl who's arguably the fastest one on the island ended up losing. Especially since this challenge involved more speed than anything else?"
"Maybe she got lost?" Chef quested.
"Or she got a little occupied." A sinister voice that everyone recognized announced and grabbed everyone's attention. A cloud of darkness flew towards the beach before materializing into the evil-wizard, Voldemort. "After all, volcanoes tend to be pretty dangerous."
"Ah Baldie!" Chris greeted without fear. "Where have you been, site-seeing?"
"I've been busy." Voldemort admitted before taking out his wand and pointing it to the group, surprising them all. "But I'm about to get the sweet reward for my efforts."
"H-Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" Chris asked surprised as he noticed the wand was aimed at him. "Using violence against the host is forbidden! I can have you thrown out of the contest for this!"
Voldemort merely laughed at Chris' threat. "Fool! I'm not interested in this contest or it's reward. No, I'm after a much bigger prize."
Chris started to sweat before turning around and yelled "Hey Beerus, Whis! Don't just lay there! Do your-" Chris stopped speaking however as all he saw were two empty chairs and a tumbleweed blowing past them. "…jobs."
"I'm afraid you can no longer count on your divine protection Chris." Voldemort stated. "The gods have abandoned you, just when you needed them most."
Chris was starting to freak out. "Internee's! Protect me!"
"Nope!" The internee's said as they started to run away.
"OKAY YOU GUYS ARE SO GETTING A PAYCUT!" Chris yelled as he quickly took out the only protection he had left, the Loser-remote. "Voldemort, for the act of threating my handsome self, I'm hereby banishing you to-"
"STUPEFY!" Voldemort yelled out and blasted Chris right in the face, causing him the fly back a few feet. He fell on the beach, completely stunned and unmoving. "Be grateful I still have need of you, otherwise I would have killed you instead of merely stunning you."
"Okay what the hell do you think you're doing?!" Beast Boy shouted. "Chris is… an absolute jerk sure, but why did you-"
"Isn't it obvious Green-kid?" Roman asked as he armed his cane just in case. "He's after Chris' remote and without those deities around it's practically begging to be grabbed."
"Which none of you will try." Voldemort threatened. "If any of you even attempt to get in the way between me and destiny, you'll pay the prize."
"Oh yeah?" Sticks asked daringly. "You and what army?"
Just then a massive roar echoed on the beach causing everyone but Voldemort to hold their ears.
Azula shook her head from the roar. "What in the name of Sozin's comet was-"
"EVERYONE SCATTER!" Chef shouted out in fright as he looked in the sky and saw a massive being approaching. It flew using bone-like wings and it's red-eyes stared at the group present on the beach. It landed right next to Voldemort while holding an unconscious Tracer in it's massive-stone hand.
"Oh god, not this thing again!" Roman said in a panic.
"I thought we got rid of this OC-monster already!" Sticks shouted.
"HehehehahaHAHAHAHA!" Voldemort laughed like a mad-man. "Well it may not be an army, but you know what they say? Quality over quantity."
The demon roared once more and everyone stared at the massive fire-demon as it threw the unconscious Tracer towards them. Beast Boy quickly gorilla-uped and grabbed the speeding Tracer. "Trace! You okay girl?"
Tracer eyes slowly opened up as she looked at the group. "H-hey guys." She weakly smiled and stated. "G-guess (Cough) I'm out huh?"
Beast Boy frowned as he and Sticks glared at Voldemort while Chef had decided to hid behind his chair. Roman and Azula exchanged an uneasy glare as they started to realize just how serious the situation had gotten.
"Now then." Voldemort aimed his wand at the group and with an evil grin on his face said "You're move."
*(Confession Seat)
"Well things went from zero to a hundredth real fast!" Roman stated with quite a bit of fear in his voice.

Back in the ruins. The team that encountered Sunset were starting to clean up the last of the statue-warriors. Cassie managed to shoot two straight in their heads while Ladybug had entangled one in her yoyo-string. After pulling the rope real hard, the statue shattered into multiple pieces. Crow managed to distract some statues using a big white bird called Blizzard The Far North. Itachi made use of Crow's distraction by placing paper-bombs on the statues which he detonated as soon as he was at a safe distance.
Dark-Sunset did not look impressed. "Wow those statue's suck. No wonder this place was abandoned."
Ladybug gave Sunset a worrying glance but that allowed one the statue's to move to her blind-side. It lifted its sword, ready to strike the heroine down but was suddenly hit by a seed that quickly turned into a vine that started crushing the statue into dust.
"Finally!" Usopp said happily. "You have any idea how difficult it was to find you guys?"
"Complain later." Cassie stated as she shot down another statue. "Fight now!"
Itachi had struck down another statue using Tai-jutsu and was about to turn around and stab the statue behind him with his kunai, only for the statue to get sliced in half by Aqua's Keyblade.
"There." Aqua addressed the ninja. "Now we're even."
"I would have taken him down anyway." Itachi stated as a matter of fact, slightly annoying the Keyblade-wielder.
Ladybug took down the last statue by using her yoyo to steal the statue's mace, which she then quickly used to smash its face in before it fell to the ground. "I think that was all of them."
"It was." Cassie confirmed before turning to Usopp and Aqua. "Let me guess, you're team encountered Voldemort, didn't they?"
Aqua was surprised. "How do you know-"
"Itachi gave us a rundown." Crow said still eying the ninja carefully. "Claimed he saved your life and based on your earlier comment, I'm guessing he spoke the truth."
"He saved Aqua true but Voldemort got away." Usopp explained. "Natsu and Happy are trying to chase him but there's no telling where he is right now."
"As I stated before, he's probably heading for Chris." Itachi repeated. "So now that we're done here we should-"
"Uhm, hello!" Dark-Sunset interrupted him. "I'm still here you know."
Everyone present turned to Sunset and two people were quite surprised to see her.
"Sunset?" Aqua asked. "Is that you?"
"What's wrong with your eyes?" Usopp asked a little freaked out by Sunset's new appearance. "That does not look like a healthy eye-color."
Dark-Sunset merrily giggled at Usopp's question before she said "If you don't like me already then you're gonna hate what's gonna happen next."
"Sunset please!" Ladybug tried reaching out to Sunset. "There's no need for us to fight. We're your friends, remember?"
"It's no use." Itachi said emotionlessly. "She's under the complete control of Voldemort now."
Dark-Sunset rolled her eyes at that statement. "Ugh, don't remind me. Like, I don't mind working with someone but that wizard is as incompetent as they come. Did you know he was once killed by a toddler. A toddler! How stupid must you be to end up getting killed by one of those?!"
"I-Is…" Usopp had a hard time containing his snickers. "Is she serious?"
"Don't know, kinda hard to tell." Crow admitted but was also laughing on the inside.
Aqua decided to head back to the real topic. "Look Sunset, none of us here wants to hurt you. But you're not well nor yourself right now. So why don't you come down here, tell us what Voldemort's planning and what you're looking for down here?"
"I already found what I was looking for." Sunset answered as she pulled a familiar looking statue. It was the same demon-statue Sticks had found before, but the color of the ruby's in its eyes were starting to turn blue as Sunset channeled her power inside of it. "I needed some more time to channel my magic into this thing. Now you'll see what I'm truly capable of!"
"Sunset stop!" Crow yelled out. "You have no idea what that thing is!"
"Course I do." Dark-Sunset stated confidently as she started to glow red. "It's a chain, one I'm more than willing to break!"
The statue shined pure blue before exploding into a thousand pieces as the magic inside started to get absorbed by Sunset. Her eyes became pure white and it looked like tears were going down her face. The red glow turned dark as the ruins started to shake and break apart, the walls with ancient text started to shatter all while those present started to get blown backwards by a sudden strong wind. Sunset disappeared in a flash of light and once the light vanished, Sunset's metamorphosis was complete. She opened her eyes which were still dark and devoid of light. Her dark-sun mark was also still present on her forehead but everything else had changed. She had easily become twice as big, her skin had turned red and furish, her clothes had changed into a yellow and red striped dress, wings had sprouted on her back and a lush red-and yellow colored tail completed her form.
Dark-Sunset, or better yet, Demon-Sunset laughed at her return. "HeheheheHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
TO BE CONTINUED!
"Oh come on!" Sticks was not happy. "That's a stupid cliffhanger-ending and you know it!"
Sticks go back to the stone-demon or I'll write more slapstick involving you.
Sticks muttered under her breath but did as she was told.
Well that's the first part of this chapter down. This part was a lot shorter than I thought it would be but then again this chapter is mostly just the setup. I'm saving the exciting stuff for the next part.
So yeah, Demon-Sunset has made a return. I'm using her original evil-form since I was too lazy to think of a new one. Oh well, don't fix what ain't broke. Voldemort's plan is coming into fruition as he now not only has Sunset but also a giant indestructible demon-statue at his side. With Beerus and Whis gone he's literally only a few steps away from taking his prize. Also since Tracer was the last one who returned, she technically lost the tie-breaker challenge. Will Chris still banish her despite Voldemort's interference? Maybe. Not like we can ask him right now.
So yeah, I hope this chapter was a good enough setup for you guys despite it being much shorter than my previous chapters. I look forward to writing the rest of it as this is technically the half-season finale of my fanfic. Glad to have finally reached this point.
Look forward to part two and make sure to check out my newest fanfic, RWBY Reacts to Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's Dubbed as well. I'll likely update that one first before continuing this chapter.
This is MasterSaixus, signing off.
