Chapter 17: Indura's Temperance

Tension was thick as the Sins glared at Escanor, Merlin, and the Nephalem.

"Who are you, and what the fuck is he!" Meliodas demanded as he glared at Naruto's limp form.

"Meliodas…" Escanor said meekly to his captain. "Please, lower your sword?"

Meliodas snarled.

"Answer my damn question!" Meliodas shouted as he activated his demon mark.

"Meliodas…" Elizabeth said in a panic as she put her hands on his arm.

Meliodas looked at her before taking a sharp breath and dropping his demon form, breathing deeply, feeling woozy before he collapsed into Elizabeth's arms.

"Captain!" the Sins shouted.

"It's okay, its just exhaustion." Elizabeth said as she held Meliodas, shakily smiling as she looked at Naruto. "Please, tell us what is going on?"

Kuroka, Xenovia, and Edward looked at each other before looking at Escanor and Merlin.

'Should we tell them?' Xenovia thought, feeling Merlin connect their minds with telepathy.

'Yes, we should.' Escanor thought weakly. 'I mean, they deserve to know.'

'No, if a certain person finds out,' Merlin thought, glancing at Elizabeth. 'Bad things could happen. So, we should keep it to ourselves. Kuroka?'

'I think I agree with Merlin, nya.'

'I do as well. I don't want to tell Naruto's story without his permission.' Xenovia thought as she looked at Edward, who nodded.

"Things will be explained later." Merlin said as she comforted Elizabeth. "Let's go get everyone healed."

The rest of the group agreed and returned to the Boar Hat.

Meanwhile…

Zeldris sat upon the throne of Camelot, deep in thought with a frown of confusion.

"Zeldris, my dear son Zeldris…"

"Father?" Zeldris said allowed, surprised to have heard his dad.

"Yes, my son." The Demon King responded. "I have felt a great power, one that surpasses the Commandments. What happened?"

Zeldris explained what happened to his dad, who already knew about it due to the fact he could see through the Commandments, but didn't want to reveal this to anyone.

"I understand. Now everything is made clear." The Demon King stated solemnly.

"What is it, Father?" Zeldris asked in concern, having never heard this tone from his dad.

"Zeldris, what I am about to tell you must be kept between us, can I trust you?"

"Of course." Zeldris said.

Within four seconds, Zeldris's eyes widened.

'WHAAAT!' Zeldris thought when the Demon King told him about his oldest son, a being of contradiction that he and the Supreme Deity made as a bridge between Demons and Angels.

Next Morning, Boar Hat…

"So, you are saying that Naruto is a demon?" Elizabeth asked, keeping Meliodas from moving as Naruto's group stood before the remaining Sins.

King and Diane were missing, and they were not able to be found.

"Yes, he is." Xenovia said, doing her best to not look at Merlin.

Merlin and Escanor stood on the side of the Sins, trying not to make the situation worse.

This left Kuroka, Xenovia, and Edward alone while Naruto slept in another room.

"And he was able to escape the sealing, and ended up killing Liz?" Meliodas demanded.

"That was an accident!" Xenovia shouted, making everyone jump. "You know Naruto would not have killed someone for laughs!"

"But… Karasuba…" Meliodas struggled to say as he was being fueled with anger.

"She is the one who started this." Merlin stated. "I was able to read her lips, and she said she used magic to force Liz to fight Naruto, and made Liz throw herself onto his sword."

Meliodas took several seconds to think before turning on Merlin.

"Then why did he care? Meliodas demanded. "I know he and Liz were good friends, but that doesn't explain why he would crack and destroy Danafor with me?"

Merlin was unfazed.

"I don't know." Merlin stated calmly. "That is a question you will have to ask Naruto when he wakes up."

Meliodas was livid.

He shook with rage before he turned back to face the Fallen.

"Get the fuck out of my bar, and take your 'leader' with you." He said coldly as his demon mark appeared on his forehead, his eyes becoming black.

Kuroka, Edward, and Xenovia stood up, not visibly fazed by Meliodas's threat.

"Fine." Edward said calmly, though he shook slightly.

He walked away and grabbed his stuff, Kuroka and Xenovia carefully picking Naruto up.

"Mom…" Escanor called out as the Fallen headed towards the door.

"It's okay, sweetheart." Xenovia said as she looked at her son. "Stay here, your teammates need you. Call us if you need us, Sins."

Escanor clenched his fists as he watched his mom, dad, uncle, and friend leave him with the Sins.

'Don't let this cloud your judgement, Escanor.' Merlin said with telepathy. 'With the commandments, you need to be calm.'

Escanor shook before he walked upstairs.

"So, what is our game plan?" Ban asked as he held Elaine.

"We shall gather our forces with Liones's army, and then we shall fight the commandments." Meliodas stated as he looked out the window.

Hours later…

The small group of the Fallen landed outside their home away from home.

They placed Naruto in his room before they sat down.

They sat in silence.

"Any idea what we will do?" Kuroka asked weakly, since she no longer had to keep it in.

"We will provide help where we can." Edward stated. "And we will protect Naruto."

"Agreed." Xenovia stated.

One month later…

"SHIT!" Ban, Howzer, and many other soldiers yelled in anger as the Commandments attacked Liones.

They were facing Estarossa and Shirone.

Correction, they were at the mercy of the Commandment of Love's affect.

"Your commandment negates mine, Estarossa." Shirone said in slight irritation. "It's okay, this way, we don't have to worry about step in the fleshy goop they would become."

"I agree with that." Estarossa said in agreement.

"YOU BASTARD!" Ban shouted in anger. "I'll make you pay for what you did to Naruto!"

Before the Commandments of Love and Temperance could respond, they were surprised when Day form Escanor stepped up, unaffected by their commandments, adorned in gold and blue armor.

"How…" Estarossa asked. "You should be paralyzed by the Commandment of Love."

"It is simple." Escanor responded, as he stood before Estarossa and Shirone with Rhitta in hand. "Why should I be angry at someone weaker than me?"

"You aren't angry at us for what we did to your comrade last month?" Estarossa asked curiously, though he was on edge.

"Naruto may have taught me everything, but he was a weakling. For I, Lord Escanor, am the pinnacle of all races." Escanor declared proudly.

"Hm… hehehahahaha…" Estarossa laughed. "Gee, how proud can some guy be?"

Escanor laughed.

"That is the price for the Sin of Pride." Escanor said as he slashed Estarossa.

Only for muscle and flesh on Escanor's left arm to be torn open and blood splashing across the arm.

"No way… that is Full Counter!" Howzer stated.

"No, that was pure strength, no magic was in Escanor's attack." Ban corrected.

"Yes, my power, Full Counter, can repel all physical attacks at twice the damage back to its attacker." Estarossa stated as he summoned a small sword.

"And my magic is Shadow." Shirone stated as she started to become one, only for Kuroka to swoop from the sky and grab Shirone off the cliff she and Estarossa were standing on.

*Growl* "Kuroka…" Shirone growled as she recognized who was holding her.

"Shirone…" Kuroka said tearfully as they hit the ground, only for Shirone to become a shadow.

Reacting quicker than anyone could see, Kuroka avoided losing her leg from a blade of shadows used by Shirone.

"What a warm welcome." Kuroka said as she avoided it. "How are you, Shirone?"

"Where is brother?" Shirone asked, hiding within the shadow of the grass. "He isn't here, is he dead?"

Kuroka didn't respond but reacted and grabbed Shirone's arm and yanked her from the shadow.

"Someone here is in for a long-awaited punishment!" Kuroka stated as she punched Shirone.

Meanwhile…

"Hm, this is perfect." Zeldris said to Karasuba, the two flying above the battlefield that was Liones castle.

"Indeed, Zeldris." Karasuba stated gleefully. "Grayroad is taking care of the people in the castle, Estarossa will fight that gold bastard Escanor, Shirone is fighting her sister, and our demons are killing the rest. However, this is concerning since Xen… Speak of the devil."

Edward appeared behind Zeldris and Karasuba.

"It has been awhile, Edward." Karasuba said with false happiness. "About a month or so, how is the freak of nature and the fairy whore doing?"

"Zeldris, I'll take care of him. You don't have to do anything." Karasuba informed her boss as she drew her katana.

"I don't mind." Zeldris said as he went to watch Estarossa's fight with Escanor.

"You know, I had actually hoped you wouldn't show up." Karasuba said truthfully. "I wanted to have the thrill of hunting you down, enjoying the ecstasy of tearing you apart one by one."

"You are a sick bitch, you know that." Edward replied as he prepared himself for battle with his demon mark appearing above his eye.

Karasuba smiled sadistically.

"You have no idea." Karasuba stated as she got into her battle stance.

Karasuba thrust her blade forward, sending herself flying with her sword out to impale Edward, who vanished.

Edward appeared under Karasuba and swung his bisento in an arc, disrupting Karasuba's attack.

Without hesitation, Karasuba twisted her body and clashed against Edward, who kicked her with a tremor empowered foot, sending her into the ground, cracking the earth and kicking up a dust cloud.

"I'm actually impressed." Karasuba stated as she dusted herself off. "You have gotten stronger, but let me get serious."

A demon mark appeared over the vampire's head, strengthening her further.

Edward barely blocked her slash, a gash appearing over his arms and torso, causing his blood to splash across her face, much to Karasuba's delight.

Meanwhile…

Shirone grabbed Kuroka and slammed her into the wall, dragging her sister through it like a wild beast before through her into the mountain, nearly caving the castle in.

Shirone was covered in darkness that was healing her body.

Kuroka emerged from the mountain, equally healing as she gasped for air.

"You bitch…" Shirone gasped as she covered her hands in black flames. "Just stay down."

She jumped at Kuroka, only to get slapped to the side.

"Just stay there, Shirone." Kuroka said as her hands were covered in poison magic.

"Shit…" Shirone stated as her body was freezing up on her. "Go ahead, kill me… it will be easy for you since you abandoned me, Derieri, and Monspeet."

Kuroka ignored Shirone in favor of recognizing the intense heat of Escanor's magic while the rocks started to melt as Estarossa was sent flying by Esanor.

Meanwhile…

"Cruel Sun." Escanor stated above Estarossa, standing on his attack before it was launched into the commandment, sending him and itself into a lake. "Now, Pride Flare."

The Cruel Sun exploded, its heat boiling the water to the point the lake vanished into a large wet bed of steam and mud.

Castle…

"I can never get use to Escanor's power.' Kuroka thought as knights appeared to help her.

"Lady Kuroka, are you okay?" One of them asked her, before he and the rest of them stopped to see her with her cat ears and tails.

"I'm fine…" Kuroka said before she watched four of the knights start screaming, demonic power invading their bodies as they expanded, becoming bloated muscle mass.

"HEY!" One of them shouted at one of their comrades. "YOU HAVE THE THING I WANT!"

Before anyone could react, these three knights attacked and brutally murdered their party before they set their sights on Kuroka.

"Hah…" They growled predatorially, before they wreathed and screamed in pain again before they melted into fleshy liquid.

"What the fuck?" Kuroka shouted.

"The Commandment of Temperance." Shirone stated. "One who feels greed towards a comrade, and if this greed is strong enough that they would want to steal or kill for it, will be empowered and be driven to murder the ones that have what they want. After they are dead, they melt into flesh."

"So, this is your commandment?" Kuroka demanded.

Shirone smirked.

"Of course." Shirone stated before closing her eyes.

Kuroka felt a pulse of power spread.

"Now the entirety of the kingdom will fall prey to my Commandment." Shirone stated through grit teeth, having to keep her concentration to keep up the new the range of her commandment.

Hundreds of human soldiers and knights morphed and attacked their comrades.

The castle and town's streets became flooded with blood and liquid flesh.

Meanwhile…

Edward was barely able to keep his eyes open as he leaned onto his bisento.

"This is the third time we have faced each other, Edward." Karasuba stated as she stood beside Edward. "And each time, you thought you had a chance against me. Just like how that purple guy thought he could protect you against Meliodas."

Edward glared angrily at Karasuba.

"Don't you dare talk about Fraudrin." Edward muttered as he shakily stood up, blood covering his body. "Because he was the strongest being that I know, not in physical or magical strength. But in heart."

And with that Edward ripped six of his seven hearts out.

"I offer six of my hearts, and sacrifice my humanity." Edward said as his darkness enveloped him.

"No… impossible." Karasuba stuttered as Edward's body twisted and warped before the darkness vanished.

In Edwards place was a giant being. It had a single body, but fifty heads, and one hundred arms of darkness, all similar to Edward's original body, but the features were gone due to being covered in his darkness.

In one of the hundred hands was his bisento.

"Shit, he is an Indura of Hecatoncheires." Karasuba spoke as she could feel fear creep into her heart. "I am afraid."

She admitted her fear, or else she would become stone.

She stepped backwards, and one hundred eyes landed on her.

Edward, or what was once Edward, let out a roar, echoing through out the entire battlefield and then some as the Commandments, Meliodas and Merlin could feel the Indura transformation take place.

Karasuba prepared herself, but was slashed in half, surviving thanks to her darkness, only to get sliced into exactly one hundred pieces before Edward pummeled the ground, massive tremors shifting and altering the earth.

In a final roar, it poured all it's power into its fists and slammed all one hundred of them into the ground, causing a white light to erupt as the continent split in half, with Karasuba at the center of it.

Boar Hat…

Elizabeth, Meliodas, Zaratras, and Hawke felt the magic and the world tremble.

"WHAT IS GOING ON!" Hawke squealed in fear, ready to wet himself at any moment.

"That was…" Meliodas said as he recognized Indura. "Shit, we have company!"

At that moment, Monspeet and Derieri broke through the sealing, ready to kill Meliodas and his companions.
