Chapter 16: Rampage

John threw Serena into a wall, causing me to activate my aura, the beam striking my chest, unfazing me. How dare he hurt Serena. My Serena.
Ash POV:
After I turned on my aura, I kicked John into a wall, before punching him over and over again. He wasn't going to hurt Serena any more. He won't be alive to see it. My aura turns a dark blue, eventually to a black aura, before I realized I punched John into submission, Blyke shooting a beam at me. I engulf the beam, sending it back, stronger, reflecting off my created barrier, him getting hit and hit, over and over again. He falls to his knees, unconscious, and I turn down the barrier. Remi and Isen run at me, as I jump up high into the air, as I shoot a homing beam at Isen, my beam almost getting stopped by Arlo's Barrier, and I realize Elaine healed everyone. That fucking traitor. I look over at Arlo, his mouth bleeding. Isen is also on the floor unconscious. I then realize that my aura is black, instead of it's usual dark blue. Wait, what? I though black aura was dark aura? I was snapped out of my thoughts when Blyke's beam hits me right in the head, and I see black.
When I wake up, I am not on the ground of Wellston. I am floating, watching Serena bleed out, my unconscious body doing nothing about it. Then, everyone starts to leave. ARE THEY NOT SAVING SERENA?! I try to float back to the best of my extent, when Dragonite is released, stomping on me, snapping me back to reality. I heave myself up, and rush over to Serena, who is still unconscious, drowning in scarlet liquid. I pick her up, and send an Health Shockwave again, before i fall to my knees. It hurts to even move. Serena, now awake, looks at me, and rushes to my side. I smile, before John, who the shockwave must've healed as well, as he jumped on me, and kept punching me over and over again. My vision starts to get blurry. I then see black.
John POV:
Useless. They're all useless. I look at Serena, who is crying, staring at Ash. "What are you looking at, you piece of trash!" I shout at her. "You're just a cripple!" I finish. I go back to punching Ash again, when a girl with green hair tries to stop me. Claire. I elbow her as a warning. I go back, until Serena jumps on me, trying to beat me up and get me away from him, but it doesn't hurt. I throw her off of me, before I see Seraphina, holding a swelling cheek, crying. I get off of him, and I go to Sera. "Are you okay?" I asked her, putting my hand on her shoulder. She flinched at my touch. "Get away from me." She said. "I'm sorry." I told her. "M-monster." She said, before she was gone, replaced by Claire. "Shut up, Claire!" I yell, slapping her face. She stumbled away, Claire replaced with Seraphina again. "Fuck you." She said, backing away. My head hung low, and I tried to apologize, but Seraphina ran away. What was life worth anymore? I shook my head. They don't derserve my mercy. They don't deserve anything. I look back at the raven-haired boy, who was being lifted to the infirmary by Serena, and I sigh, and I run away. I don't know where I'm going. I just know I'm going.
Ash POV:
When I wake up, Serena is on a chair, crying, and I'm blinded by the light over the bed. I focus my vision, and I jolt up, causing Serena to look over at me, her cerulean eyes filling with joy. "Are you okay?" I ask her. "You're the one asking me that? John knocked you unconscious, and you're asking me that?" She said, pulling me into an embrace. I smile, and return the hug. Tears started streaming down her face again. I pull away from the hug, and look into her cerulean eyes. "Are you okay?" I ask again. "Well, about a week ago, before you fought John, you kissed me. Then, yesterday, you said you were my girlfriend." She said. "Yeah." I confirmed. "Well," Serena said. "I-i like you. More than a friend." I blushed, before smiling and pulling her into another hug. "I love you too, Serena."
