LA Hospital, 3:00 PM, Friday, March 27

After hiding her new hairdo for a whole school day, Cat finally took off her hoodie to drive to the hospital to pick up Robbie and pay the bills using her parent's money, with permission. When she got there, she bought another bag of gummy worms to see if he can eat them. She went up to his room, and surprisingly, he was already dressed for their date. "Hey, Robbie. You ready to go?" Robbie smiled at the sight of Cat with brown hair. "Yeah, but you have to fill out this paperwork before we leave, we have plenty of time, movie doesn't start until 5:30." Cat looked at his crutches. "Hey, I know the surgery fucked up your walking, how long would it take for you to walk normally?" Robbie pointed at his doctor. "Ask Doctor Randle, he has the full explanation." Cat's head swiveled around quickly. "What's the deal, Dr. Randle?" He took a deep breath. "We have to keep his right leg down because if it pushes up, it has a chance to reopen the tear in the abdomen. I would say that he needs about 4 weeks until the scar forms and the wound permanently closes up." Cat gave him a thank you and went to do the paperwork and pay off the bills. Her and Robbie said thank you again to the nurses and doctors and went back to the car. "Cat, can you drive? My legs might not handle the foot movements." Cat rubbed his skinny stomach. "Of course I will."

All of a sudden, Robbie got a text from Beck. Hey, Robbie, do you wanna watch Killjoy with Jade and I? The movie starts at 5:30. Bring Cat, she told us that you two were dating, I would love to see you two together. Robbie responded with, Dammit, you caught us. If you come late, that's perfectly fine, Cat and I are gonna be there early, and then he looked up at Cat. "Why did you tell them that we were together?" Cat brought her arms down. "Jade threatened to kill me." Robbie nodded. "Fair enough." They got in the car, and Robbie put his right leg on the dashboard. Cat put her head on the steering wheel. "I'm kinda scared, Robbie. Beck invited us to the movies, unaware of us having plans there, and Jade's gonna be with him. I'm afraid of what she's gonna say about us and my hair." Robbie pushed her head back up. "It's ok, I told Beck we would be there early. He already told me what we're gonna watch." When they got into their seats, they saw Beck and Jade trailing behind them, so Cat put up her hood. "Well," Beck said. "If it isn't the most innocent couple in the world." Robbie wrapped his arm around Cat. "Yup, and she's mine, all mine." They rubbed their noses. Jade made a disgusted face. "That made me fucking sick to the core." They sat down next to them. "So, when did this whole thing start?" Beck asked. Cat put her hands inside her sleeves. "Well, the day before the Prome, Robbie asked me to be his date, but this football player already asked me. He thought I was lying because he came late. I went to apologize to him. He drove me home and...he fucked me. Over-" Jade cut her off. "Woah, a small little dick can do that?" Cat held her hand up to Jade's face. "Don't talk shit about my boyfriend again, understood? Let me finish what I was saying. Anyway, we broke up in Yerba and we got into a fight, but we resolved things and got back together."

After the movie, Jade eyed Cat's hoodie. "What are you hiding under there? You've lied to Robbie, don't start lying to me." Cat tightened her hoodie. "Leave me alone." Jade clenched her fist. "Yeah, sure I will." She yanked her hoodie down, revealing her brown hair. Cat shrieked and started to cry. "Why, Jade?" Jade shook her head. "I should be asking why to you. What's with the drastic change in hair color, it's so unlike you, Cat." Cat dried her tears. "I loved the red, but it was time for a change. I wanted people to take me seriously, you know?" Jade frowned. "I don't know, I kinda liked the red." Cat buried her head back into her sweater. "But you told me it was childish many times." Beck hugged Jade. "You know Jade, she just loves being snippy." Robbie broke up the tension. "Well, I sure am hungry. Where do you wanna eat if you're hungry, Cat?" Cat jumped up and down in excitement. "Yeah, I am hungry. Inside-Out sounds really good right now, I really want a cheeseburger." Robbie grinned. "Sorry guys, we gotta split. You know how she gets when she's hangry." Beck blew air out. "We know. See you two tomorrow." Cat and Robbie got into the car and waved goodbye as they drove off.

"Hey, Cat, it's 8:00, so do you want to eat at the restaurant or eat it at home?" Cat tried to keep her eyes on the road. "Yeah, we'll eat it at home, we have school tomorrow, we can go to sleep after we eat." When they got there, Robbie whipped out his wallet. "Since you paid for the movie, I decided to pay for dinner." Cat sighed. "I insist, I told you that I would pay for everything." Robbie inched closer. "No, I don't want you to spend too much money." She put her wallet back in her purse. "Aw, Robbie. Fine, you can pay. It reminds me of when my brother bought me food when I tried to use my allowance money, before he went insane and tried to kill you." Robbie shivered. "So what do you want?" Cat showed him the list on her phone. "Are you sure you mean four strawberry shakes with two bacon cheeseburgers and two large fries? That's a lot, don't you think?" She nodded. "Yup, I'm only 90 pounds, I need to bulk up before we go to our school's new gym, I don't want people to laugh at me. They're weight-lifting, treadmill-running, penis-pounding fitness junkies. And we're the skinny kids that sing and play music, we're all out of whack compared to them. You should get a lot of food too." Robbie reluctantly went up to the counter to buy Cat's food and he just ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and soda for himself.

When they got into the car, it immediately started to smell like bacon. "Are you happy?" Robbie asked. Cat started to drink her milkshake. "Yeah, I am, you just made your little kitty happy. I love you." Robbie put his card back in his wallet. "I hope that almost 40 bucks of food was worth it." They drove home and put the food on the table. Cat was busy eating her burger as Robbie was still putting his stuff on the table. "Cat, don't you think you're eating too fast? Don't you wanna save stuff for tomorrow?" Cat giggled and sang "No!'' In a whistle note. "Come on, when you were gone, all I ate was candy and cereal. I didn't have you home to cook. I wanted to wait for you." Robbie finished his food and so did Cat, and they went to brush their teeth and dressed up into their pajamas, but obviously, Robbie had a hard time. "Cat, can you help me put my pants on?" Cat bit her lip when she saw the bulge in his underwear. "Are you getting hard?" Robbie scolded her. "No, we're not having sex, you want this relationship to be balanced, right? Then lay off the sex a bit, please." Cat started to whine. "I just said that in the heat of the moment, can we have sex tonight, please?" Robbie limped over to the bed. "No, maybe tomorrow. We have no school tomorrow, so we can do whatever we want. Goodnight, Cat." Cat jumped into the bed. "Fine. Goodnight, Robbie."
