Chapter 16 Arrival in Australia
A.N. – Back to the action as the Lyoko Warriors attempt to make an entry into Australia. No taking of countries, that will be next chapter. Really, nothing much to say about this, so I'll just start.
Short Summary – The two couples awake next morning, not talking about the previous night, since they don't know about the other. As they approach Australia, they find that the security program doesn't want them in. They must find an alternative way in before their boat can safely dock.

Paris, France
The gang is all enjoying living a normal life. The world was evermore grateful for the efforts they put in to defeat the security program. It was a nice sunny day and the world has repaired and was put back into a sort of normalcy.
"Glad that chapter as being Lyoko Warriors is over" Ulrich said.
"Don't tell me you won't miss being a hero" Odd says. Melissa is also there with him.
"I will but traveling the world and witnessing death. I don't know, that was too much."
"What can you do? We tried our best and failed but rebounded and came out victorious" Aelita said.
"Yeah, let's just hope with the supercomputer turned off, we won't hear from anything ever again" Yumi said.
They all raised their glasses, when an explosion went off. The immediately rushed over and saw a giant cloud of smoke rising.
"What happened?" Melissa asked.
"Not him again" Aelita said.
"Oh no not that" Ulrich said.
"You thought you get rid of me that easily, I'm afraid not" the security program said as he plunged the world back into chaos. "Now for the real prize, your deaths." The security program sent a wall of fire towards them wiping out everything in its path. When it reached them, all you can her was them screaming in pain.
Back in the Boat
Aelita woke up form her nightmare panting heavily and sitting up. She was no longer cuddled near Odd after what happened last night. She saw a clock that was readjusted to a new time zone. The clock was smart enough to readjust as it traveled different time zones. It read 11:30A.M. Aelita decided it was now the right time to wake up. She went to the bathroom first, returned and then put on her Lyoko Avatar outfit. She then went to apply the pink face paint that went up to her eyes. She was still trying to work out if that nightmare meant anything. (Maybe. You'll just have to wait.)
Yumi & Ulrich's Room
Yumi was the first one to awake. She started out her day just like Aelita and then put on her outfit. The only thing that she did differently was apply the white powder and blush to her face, instead on any paint like Odd and Aelita. Just as she was stepping out of the room, she saw Aelita doing the same.
"Hi there Aelita" Yumi said.
"Hi Yumi" Aelita said.
"What are you doing in Odd's room?"
"I spent the night with him."
"You had sex with Odd?!"
"No, no I had nowhere to sleep, so he offered to spend the night with him."
Aelita was surprised that Yumi made that quick of a judgement. 'Note to self: never tell Yumi my plans again' Aelita thought to herself. Yumi can be trusted to keep a secret, but she can't have her making conclusion like this.
"Oh, okay. I think us girls are ready to fight the security program."
"You conquered your fear factor?"
"Yeah, last night actually."
"What was it?"
"Ulrich."
"I don't think you killed him. What did the security program do that involved him?"
"What I saw in the tower, was Ulrich cheating on me. My fear is, since it took too long for us to be official, I'm afraid that I'll lose him some way. Whether it be to another girl, or death, or just anything. So, the way I figure is to just temporarily end our relationship. Defeat the security program first, and then continue our relationship."
"That didn't go well the first time with Xana."
"Think about it Aelita. Wouldn't you hate too lose someone close to you, who you thought you could trust."
It made Aelita think of what Jeremy would do if he found out. She couldn't risk telling anyone. And knowing Odd, if he wants to have a relationship with Melissa after the war, he needs to keep his mouth shut.
"Whether it be trust or anything, I feel being close might be a way that the security program can play with our emotions, so I made us single so that way he can target one without hurting the other" Yumi finished.
"You mean you won't fell crushed if he gets hurt?"
"I'll still care for him, just not on too much of an emotional level. You remember when Xana was still active. My caring for Ulrich never stopped. I just felt that we had too many problems in our lives that back then we couldn't have a stable relationship."
"I know how you feel. It took forever for Jeremy to actually admit his feelings towards me."
"He was crazy for you, even before he though you weren't a human. As soon as he turned on that supercomputer, he found his match. I'm sure he would have gone to Lyoko to marry you if you couldn't get out."
They both chuckled at this.
"Yeah, but I made more moves then him, and he just never admitted."
"Maybe he can't handle rejection. Ulrich's emotions are stone cold because of his father. He didn't have a proper relationship with him, so he tucks his feelings away and they eventually get replaced with anger and regret." (I don't know if that is true, but if you had a father that screamed at you constantly, I guess your emotions would never show. Again, work with me. No backlash if I'm wrong.)
"With Jeremy, I think it's the inability to talk to a girl. He never found someone who peeked his interest, until he met me."
"Jeremy was able to talk to you like a normal person. It's when you came to Earth, he never declared a relationship, because he couldn't release his feelings properly."
"And everyone was saying go for it too."
The two headed up to the top deck to wait for the boys to wake up.
Two Hours Later
The boys eventually woke up two hours later and joined the girls. They were only a couple hours out from Australia. This meant anew set of challenges, only if they can get past the security program.
The Tower in Norte Dame, Paris
The security program was watching them in Paris. He knew everything now. Still his intentions remained the same: stop them or kill them. Each country was step closer to him. But with Odd's relationship now in jeopardy, the security program thought he can use this to his advantage.
"What's the plan my master?" William asked.
"For now, let me handle Australia. I got a job for you. Find me Melissa again. I have something that she would want to see" the security program said.
"Yes master. I will find her."
William left the throne room.
"We'll see if she still trusts Odd after she sees that he is not to be trusted."
The security program lined up forces at the port of Newcastle, just a little North of Sydney, where the Lyoko warriors were expected to land.
Near the Coast of Australia
After traveling for hours on the Pacific Ocean, the Lyoko Warriors can finally see Australia. They were about to make entry when the boat came to a stop.
"Why are we stopped?" Ulrich asked.
"Maybe we ran out of fuel?" Aelita suggested.
"Let's go speak with the captain" Yumi said.
They made their way up to the control room and asked why he stopped.
"Take a look for yourself" the captain said.
Aelita looked through the binoculars and saw a hoard of Krabs, Tarantulas, and Bloks guarding the coast.
"Big guns" Aelita said. "I count about twenty each. In total, sixty monsters blocking our way in."
"The security program doesn't want us coming in" Yumi said.
"Typical, the hero gets stopped by the villain and yet the hero will come out on top" Odd said.
"You will, but my boat won't. I am not docking until those monsters are gone" the captain said.
"How the heck do we reach the coast then?" Ulrich said.
Aelita looked over to the wall and saw something. "Dive suits. How many of those dive suits do you have?"
"Enough for all of you" the captain said.
"Then we'll take them all."
The gang suited up and prepared to dive and swim to Australia.
In the Pacific Ocean
The gang dived in and saw underwater to avoid detection.
"Follow me, we are only a couple meters out from the coast. When we get there, we go around and flank them. Try to take out as many as you can before they notice themselves falling. We want to deal with as less as possible when they know we are there" Aelita instructed them.
"Copy princess" Odd said.
They continued to swim until the were at the coastline of Australia.
Port of Newcastle, Australia
The Lyoko Warriors all got to shore and took the dive gear off and remained out of sight. The monsters had no idea that they were there and neither did the security program. They snuck around the back to where the monsters were on point waiting.
"If you give me a few minutes, I can take out ten of them with a mega energy orb" Aelita said.
"How long do you need?" Ulrich asked.
"About three minutes."
"Get started then." Aelita started to construct her orb. "Let's get ready ourselves."
Three Minutes Later
Aelita was ready and the rest were ready to make their presence known.
"Now!" Ulrich said.
Aelita launched her orb taking out ten Krabs. Yumi threw both of her fand taking five Bloks. Odd launched a lot of arrows taking out three Tarantulas, two Krabs and one Blok. Ulrich rushed in and took out the remaining Krabs, four more Bloks, and two Tarantulas. The once sixty monsters were now cut down to twenty-five.
"There still a good amount here" Yumi said.
"We've been through worse" Odd said.
"Name one."
"The thirty plus Bloks after Xana trapped us in his simulation bubble."
The monsters closed in on the warriors and they didn't know what to do.
"I got a plan. Me and Yumi will take the Tarantulas and Odd and Aelita will take the Bloks" Ulrich said.
They started their attacks and Yumi immediately threw both of her fans destroying five of the tarantulas.
"Super sprint!" Ulrich said as he slashed through five more of the Tarantulas.
Odd and Aelita split the Blok hoard in half. Odd fired laser arrows like mad and took out his five Bloks. Aelita needed another mega orb but didn't have the time to construct it. Odd was done with his monster wave so he decided to lend a hand to Aelita. Odd destroyed tow of the Bloks while Aelita destroyed the remaining three.
"Thanks for the hand Odd" Aelita said.
"Anything for the princess. She is the most important part of this kingdom" Odd responded.
Ulrich and Yumi quickly finished off the remaining five Tarantulas and the port was clear for docking. The Lyoko Warriors sent a symbol to show all clear sign. The boat once again moved and docked at the now free port.
"See how much better we fight when we're not together" Yumi whispered to Ulrich.
"We may fight better, but I'm still a little heartbroken over it" Ulrich whispered back.
"Give it time, just don't use it as an excuse to experiment with others or I will leave you."
"I would never cheat on you. I know every girls fear is that, but you don't have to worry about that with me."
"My fear only happened when we were together."
The Lyoko Warriors now waited for the resistance to arrive and start to conquer Australia.
The Tower in Norte Dame, Paris
The security program knew that he lost the port, but Australia was still in his pocket. William walked through the door.
"I've got what you wanted" William said with Melissa struggling.
"What the fuck do you want with me!? I told you, I know nothing!" Melissa said.
"Here this should calm her down" the security program said sending a calming shock to her enough to stop her struggling and keep her awake. "Now then we have something you might want to see."
William turned her around and the security program played the footage on the night Odd cheated on her…

A.N. – First of all, special thanks to Josh Xana for this idea with the security program and Melissa. I was gonna have Melissa come back before they reached Paris in part three, but I choose the chapter she will come back. Now, I can't say what will happen next chapter, but it might be the last major Melissa scene for a while, and she will have a major part in the chapter where she finally confronts Odd in Europe.
