When Derek and Desmond walked back in a few minutes later the room was still filled with Penelopes friends both old and new, Derek grinned as Penelope introduced everybody to him. He smiled and shook hands with everybody and said, "I want to thank all of you for taking such great care of my girl for me when I couldn't
Emma grinned and said, "she's an amazing person, you have yourself quite a woman there", Derek looked at Penelope and grinned and said, "that I do Emma, that I do". Penelope looked at Derek as Desmond said, "he's going to be fine in a few days, the bullet grazed his side, I've cleaned the wound and bandaged it and even gave him an antibiotic shot just in case of any infection that might set up".
Penelope sighed happily and said, "thank you so much for everything you did", Desmond said, "I didn't do anything", Penelope said, "but you did, when Malcolm aimed his gun at me you shielded me with your body". She continued by saying, "and when my hotstuff here burst into the room you turned and shielded me again with your body to keep me and the baby from getting hurt".
Derek said, "speaking of the baby", Hotch said, "I think that's our cue to head out", Penelope said, "you are more than welcome to stay at my place but I'll be honest I have one bed and a couch so you probably won't be comfortable there", Millie said, "why don't you all come stay at my place while you're here"?, Dave smiled and said, "thank you Milie, that sounds amazing".
Jessica said, "and we have a diner that's right up the street and it stays open 24 hours, just in case any of you are hungry", Reid said, "I don't know about the others but I'm starving". Shane looked at Hotch and said, "what about me agent Hotchner"?, Hotch smiled and said, "you did such an amazing job of helping us and I'm hoping that your sentence will get reduced to time served".
Shane smiled and said, "that would be amazing", Hotch said, "you come with us and I'll make that phone call", Shane walked over and kissed Penelope on the cheek and said, "take care, you". She grinned and said, "and you take care, you", he shook hands with Derek and said, "I'm glad you got your girl back".
Derek said, "thanks, me too", Shane sighed and turned to follow the others out of the room, Emma winked at her and said, "how about I bring you and your honey some dinner over"?, Penelope said, "woman you are reading my mind". Emma laughed and said, "see you two lovebirds later", Penelope nodded her head and said, "later Em" as she watched her friend follow the others out into the hall.
Penelope rested her head against Dereks and said, "I'm so sorry that I left you like that, it's just I di" and he silenced her by putting his finger under her chin and pulling it up so that she was looking him in the face. He said, "you don't owe me an apology, you did what you thought you had to do sweetness, the only thing that matters now is that we're together now".
She blew out a deep breath and said, "and the baby, well I found out the day before our wedding and I was going to tell you on our honeymoon and well, our honeymoon didn't happen". Derek kissed her lips gently and said, "how about we settle that problem while we're here with our family"?, Penelope said, "but what about your mom and sister and well their is Henry and Jack, they aren't here either".
Derek said, :don't worry about them they can all come over on Daves jet", Penelope said, "are you sure that you still want to marry me"?, Derek kissed her lips and said, "sweetness, I've never been more sure of anything in my life". She bit down on her bottom lip and said ,"I'd love to marry you sugar" and he claimed her lips with his in a passionate kiss.
As they pulled apart his slid his hand down to her stomach and said, "how far along are you"?, she said, "almost 12 weeks", he sighed happily and said ,:so by Christmas we're going to add another member to our family"?, Penelope said, "we are, how do you feel about that"?, he kissed her lips and said, "I feel like everything is falling into place, everything is the way it's suppose to be".
She rested her head against his and sighed happily and said, "I couldn't have said it better myself baby boy" causing him to grin as he closed his eyes and enjoyed having the love of his life in his loving arms, where she belonged.
