Dewey Duck's Abduction

Chapter 21

"Here we Go!

"Let the girl's go!" Darkwing ordered. Darkwing took one look at the girls then glared over at Bulba. Bulba just snickered at him. He grabbed Violet by the scruff of the neck. Darkwing's eyes blazed into his. He had gotten rather fond of the kids. He wasn't about to let anything bad happen to them. He glanced over at the older one. She was slowly starting to wake up. Good. He could use her help.

"I will not." Bubla snarled at him. "These girlie's are my ticket too -."

He stopped as a chair was thrown at him making him drop Violet and stagger back. Darkwing quickly grabbed Violet and made a grab for the newest girl he hadn't seen before.

"Um. I don't think I should -." Gosalyn began.

But he didn't let her finish because Lena had gotten to her feet, just as he rushed back over to her.

"Okay, kid. I know this is sudden, but you need to make him -." He jerked his head over to Bubla who was now coming at him like a rageing, well, bull.

"Got it." Lena said. "GO! I'll meet you at the plane." She told him.

She knew this was pushing herself, but she wasn't going to be a failure again. Not when the other's needed her. She began to glow brightly and threw a magical purple fireball at Bulba Bulba skidded to a stop, confused, a bit shocked.

"What's this now?" Bulba said. "Not really a fair fight if magic is involved is it?" Bulba snickered at her. He glanced over at the beakers. "I wonder..."

He quickly moved over to them and drunk them quickly, one by one. Forget what they did, it would be better for him in this situation if he just found out himself. Lena stared at him blankly as the bull in front of her started blinking different colors repeatedly.

"Now, it's a fair fight." Bulba said with a wide grin.

Darkwing Duck however pulled the girls along while the newer girl helped Violet out with her bondaged arms.

"Thanks." She said once they got to the plane.

Violet narrowed her eyes at her and punched her in the arm.

"OW!" She said. "What was that for?"

Darkwing glanced back at them. Clearly they had some sort of history.

"I told you if they got hurt I'm holding you more then responsible!" Violet reminded her.

"It wasn't my fault!" Gosalyn fuemed. "I -."

"I hate to break this up girls." Darkwing said, stepping in between them, as he heard a loud exsplosion from the building. "But we need to get going, now." He said, once he saw Lena running towards them looking far worse then she has been.

Gosalyn and Violet looked at each other in silent agreement for once and hurried into the plane. Lena made it up to them and paused at the opened mouth of the plane.

"W,We need to get back to Duckberg." Lena said, breathlessly. "S,Scrooge's money bin. Now!" She said.

"Right." Darkwing said, he pulled Lena in and he himself started up the plane.

He had a sense that something other then fighting had went down between her and Bulba, needless, he had wanted to be the one to bring him down. But he had a feeling that he'd have other chances. Right now though, he had to do help the others, and Scrooge before it was too late...

Dewey had no idea what to do at this point. He had been shoved into the blue test tube container along with Huey and Louie's beside him. Dewey being in the middle of them.

"Okay," Dewey said, as he pressed his hands and face against the glass. "It's offical, we are offically in serious trouble." He said.

"No kidding, sherlock." Huey snapped at him.

"Um. Guys, I, I can't find any way out of this." Louie said in a desperate voice.

Both his brother's looked over at him. He was staring at the buzzards, Mrs. Vanderquack who had Webby close to her side who was staring at them with frightened eyes. Edward was talking to a couple of egg headed shaped minions, not even bother to look sinere when he glanced over at them. Louie didn't know what to make of their father. One minute he was helping them, the next minute he wasn't.

It was all getting to much for the youngest of the triplets.

What was keeping him from just siding with these F.O.W.L people anyway? All he's done was be resonsible for getting both his brother's kidnapped in the first place. He hadn't even done anything to redeem himself since then, and have been acting like he idolized his father when he really should be upset and angry, like he had with his mother.

What was the wrong with him?

"Bradford." Edward was saying, as he got done talking to the egg heads. He walked over to him, carefully not to look over at his children. "Scrooge McDuck is here." He said.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie looked in horror as their Uncle was dragged into view with their Uncle Donald, Mom, Launchpad, Gyro, Mrs. Beakly, and Fenton. Baloo, Kit, Molly, and B.O.Y.D were no where to be found, little did they know they were waiting for the signal to take action somewhere nearby. Baloo had insisted they help after learning of their perdicament.

Scrooge couldn't refeuse help when it was handed to him on a golden platter. He knew he needed all the help he could get, from experience, he knew larger in numbers was the way to beat these kind of people. He was going to make Bradford pay for what he was doing to his family. He looked towards his nephews and his heart sank. They were looking back at him with fear on their faces. Webby was beside a woman, who just stood there. Scrooge assumed that the woman was holding her hostage with some sort of weapon he couldn't see.

He glanced up at the huge laser that was pointed at the sky. It was much more massive then the rocket that Lunaris had built to make the Earth orbit around the moon. He looked towards Donald and Della, they were staring mouth agape at a man near Bradford. Donald's face was getting red, while Della's eyes were on fire.

Bradford and the man slowly walked up to them.

"Ah. Mr. McDuck. I'd like to thank-you for coming." Brandford snickered.

"Didn't really have a choice." Scrooge snapped at him.

"Eddie?" Della asked, staring at Edward who narrowed his eyes at her.

"Della." He replied. "Heard you were back. How was your trip?" He asked her.

Della opened her mouth to yell at him but Donald made a sudden move for Edward with his fists. But the egg head near him shot him with a electrical teaser which made him fall flat face. He groaned loudly.

Bradford chuckled softly.

"Restless as always." He said, eyeing Donald with distaste.

"So, what's the plan, ,here, Bradford?" Scrooge asked, making small talk.

He had to keep them talking, until he gave the signal that it was good to go.

"Oh, just bringing the world out from under the great and powerful Scrooge McDcuck." Bradford snickered back. "You almost destoryed it after the whole Lunaris inncodent," He reminded Scrooge, "and without the world, who would we larcenate against?" He asked cooly.

Scrooge stared at him.

That's what this was about?

"We saved the world in the end!" Scrooge shot at him, his anger rising.

"Yeah, but at what cost?" Bradford asked. "You plunged the world into an ice age!"

"We didn't!" Della said, finding her voice, "That was Lunaris!"

"And who's fault was that bringing him here?" Edward shot back at her.

Della fell quiet.

It was true.

It was her fault for bringing him here. If she hadn't gotten on that stupid rocket...

Huey and Dewey saw tears in his mother's eyes, and their hearts sank. She knew she has been beating herself up for that and had been trying hard to make it up to them all this time. Trying to be a good mother to them, and learning along the way. It wasn't fair for Edward to be calling her out for that.

"Your family has been a thorn in our side for sometime now." Bradford said. "It's time you paided for it." He nodded at the egg head near the boys.

"Wait, what are you -." Scrooge began.

The egg head hit the big button on the control panel near the kids. Huey, Dewey, and Louie looked at each other quickly and took a step back away from the glass, all three heart's were pounded hard against their chests.

"Either you back down." Bradford said, "or your family will pay dearly for it."

The family looked towards the triplets in alarm as smoke started to fill the test tubes. The smell was horrible making Dewey's eyes watery. He started to coughing and his lungs felt like they were on fire.

Was he dying?

He saw the first patch of sunlight through the water in his eyes. Any other time he would have thought it was an amazing sunrise. Brilliant shades of red, orange, and pink against a brillian blue sky.

The last thing he heard before blacking out for the second time that day was his Mom, Uncle Donald, and everyone else he cared about screaming their names.

Baloo, Kit, and Molly however were waiting anxiously for the signal Scrooge had told them to look out for. Kit was staring out the window of the airplane. They had finally found each after all this time, and now, they were helping out there friends in return for helping them out. Kit didn't know if it was the pirate in him or not, but he'd feel a lot better not getting involved in their situation. He learned that the hard way.

"Molly, you are staying in the plane." Kit had told her once they had talked strategy with Scrooge. She had thrown a fit and her scowl hadn't left her face since then, as Kit looked over at her. She was sitting in the cargo pit, with her arms crossed not looking at him.

"She'll get over it, Kit." Baloo had told him.

Kit hoped so. He was doing this for her own good. If she got hurt on his watch, he'd never forgive himself.

Suddenly they saw the sky light up from the flare gun that they had given Launchpad before they departed.

"Here we go!" Baloo shouted, and he started up the plane.
