Bella POV
Today was the day that Carlisle was going to start doing tests on Topaz to see about if she had Autism. I am so nervous though because the process involves needles and she is petrified to death of them. She will put up a fight when Carlisle tries to do the needles and I can tell you now that she will get violent.
I didn't like seeing Topaz sad but we really needed to know if she has Autism. I took her upstairs with Edward to Carlisle's office and put her on the table, Emmett was ready to help if she was thrashing too much he would hold her but not too hard. Carlisle came over with a needle syringe that would be used to take some blood, then Topaz tensed up quickly. I stroked her hair soothingly calming her down. I knew how she felt because I hate having needles stuck into me.
"Topaz, I'm just going to take some blood and Mommy and Daddy will comfort you so you won't feel a thing." Carlisle said calmly and when Edward picked Topaz up into his arms and Carlisle came closer she started to thrash and scream which is what I knew would happen. I also knew that if she punched, kicked, bit, or slapped it would hurt me but it wouldn't hurt Edward because he was a vampire. Yes it may leave a mark on Edward if she bit him but it wouldn't hurt him once.
Carlisle lifted up her sleeve but she slapped him away and clutched onto Edward tighter, I went over to the side next to Edward and turned her head towards me and made faces at her making her laugh. But when Carlisle tried to lift up her sleeve again she screamed and started to cry, but I kept her face looking at me to stop her from worrying too much about the needle. Carlisle quickly took some blood before Topaz could make a big enough fuss about it.
"All done Topaz." Carlisle announced and Topaz looked confused, her face was a picture and made me giggle. I loved my Daughter and all we had to do was wait for about 2 months until we got the results of if she had Autism.
