Back on earth in a place called Knowhere we find a small dog with purple fur with a black spot sitting on a bench looking up at the sky deep in thought.
'ever since I started Living with Muriel and Eustace I have constantly been fighting all matter of supernatural beings I just wish I had some way of better protecting them' he was snapped out of his thoughts when a blue ring appeared in front of him.
"Courage of nowhere you have the ability to instill great hope welcome to the Blue Lantern Corps." it said.
The ring then flew onto his finger and in an instant his his fur changed from purple to blue with the rings symbol on his chest before he could question this he disappeared in a blue light.
