(Back with Bill…)

He wasn't surprised to find his new mate on his knees a look of horror stricken on his face. Before him the Axolotl was motionless. Bill couldn't help but feel indifferent about it; he knew saving the being was impossible.

His death was inevitable, but that didn't mean it had to be the end.

"We failed." Dipper rasped his voice barely a whisper.

"Where there is death there is new beginnings." Bill assured him remembering what Axolotl told him about the boy before him.

Dipper thought about that and wondered. 'Wait, maybe I could…" He reached out and touched the Axolotl's flank. As his hands began to glow a strange blue the wound began to heal. "It's working!" Dipper said out loud, but then something went wrong, the Axolotl was set a blaze and soon set a blaze, and in moments he was ashes.

Dipper more horrified than before took a handful of ash, a look of confusion on his face. "I thought I could…" He shook his head.

"Kid you can't something back from the dead." Bill reasoned. "They come back as a corpse, not as you remember them."

"So, it's hopeless?" Dipper asked.

"I wouldn't say that." Bill said as the ashes began to stir in Dipper's hand.

Dipper watched as a tiny axolotl emerged from the cinders.

The little creature of comic power looked up at the being before him in great admiration. He may be only seconds old, but he knew this being was the one who brought him into existence. His great creature smiled down on him in delight.

"I did it!" Dipper exclaimed, but then his face fail. He could leave the Axolotl here; he was so tiny and small now.

"Best to take him with us." Bill reasoned. "It will be a few centuries before he's the all powerful being you remember him to be."

"But he can't be the same Axolotl." Dipper reasoned. "I wasn't around to make him."

"Kid the Axolotl lives outside of time, he most likely traveled back to make sure you succeed." Bill reasoned.

"I created the Axolotl." Dipper realized in amazement.

"Of course, you did." Bill exclaimed. "Why else do think he speaks in codes and other nerdy nonsense."

"Hey!" Dipper exclaimed. "It's not nerdy!" He stopped as he noticed Axolotl was turning a little blue. "What's wrong with him?"

"Well he's an ordinary axolotl right now." Bill said as he made a spear of water appear. "And they need water."

Dipper too the spear as Bill offered it to him and placed the creature inside. "I can't believe this little thing is going to create the entire Multiverse one day." Dipper's eye widen. "Wait does that mean-"

"That you just inverted cause the creation of the entire multiverse?" Bill asked.

"But how?" Dipper was really confused now.

"I told you he exists outside of time, he'll go back so far in time until there's nothing and then he'll make something not realizing what he just made is the start of it all until much later, just like you just did with him." Bill explained.

"This is why time travel." Dipper explained. "Way too many paradoxes."

"Agreed." Bill laughed. "So, kid what now?"

"I guess we could have him live with Malia." Dipper said, missing the true meaning to Bill's question.

"You mean go back?" Bill asked. "Kid have you seen what you look like?"

Dipper looked down and as if just remembering notices his new form. "We'll maybe I could…" He focuses and Bill watches in amazement as Dipper's shape morphs back into his human appearance. "There." He said. "That's better."

Bill is stunned by the skill and ease Dipper already possess, but not as much as he is that Dipper wishes to return. In fact, he was kind of hoping the Kid would want to stay with him and rule the multiverse together. "Kid…" He began.

Dipper who had already began to leave smiled back at him. "Look Bill I appreciate the help, but you don't have to come with me." He said.

Come with him? The thought had naturally never occurred to him, but now that the kid had said it…No he could! Who would want to spend the rest of their days with annoying flesh sticks with their sappy emotions! He'd have to insane to even consider it!

Dipper's smile grew and he reached his other hand out to him. "Come on." He insisted. "Who knows it could be fun."

"Fun?" Bill scoffed. "You fleshlings don't know the meaning of the word."

Dipper shrugged. "suite yourself."

Bill watched him leave, good riddance he had gotten the power he always wanted who needed a partner anyways?

The dream demon stopped as he remembered how it felt to hold the kids hand, it felt so…right. He turned starting to float away, doing his best to ignore the emotions bubbling up inside of him. A partner would just slow him down, especially one who didn't have the same vision as he did for ruling the multiverse.

Dipper didn't even bother to look back, if there was one thing, he knew about Bill it was his love for a party, and as soon as he realized he couldn't have one all alone; he'd join him. "Well buddy lets go check on the other's." Dipper said to Axolotl as he began to open a new Rift.

(Back with Mabel…)

Everyone had just started to pick themselves up when the sky ripped open once again.

"Oh no he's coming back after all!" McGucket screamed. "Flee for your mortal lives."

Many took heed to his warning, all but Mabel who had strange feeling. He couldn't explain what it was, all she knew was that she felt it, and it felt familiar. She turned to see someone she never thought she'd see again. "Dipper!" She screamed.

His name alone made time seem to stand still for him. Ford stopped and looked over shoulder in awe.

"Kid!" Stan raced by his brother and Tackled Dipper along with Mabel.

"Dude you're alive!" Wendy joined in on the embrace!

"Group hug!" Soos exclaimed and for the first time ever everyone actually complied with his request. "Finally, the right time!"

"Mason?" The crowd parted as Ford walked up to his great Nephew.

"Hey uncle Ford." Dipper said.

"But how….?" Ford was speechless.

"Turns out Bill had just enough good in him after all." Dipper said.

Ford practically fell into the kids arms. "I thought we lost you for good that time." He said.

"Yeah no more dying for you bro!" Mabel yelled.

"Yeah man our hearts literally can't take anymore." Wendy told him.

Dipper smiled. "I love you guys too." He said as Ford pulled away.

"Hey what's with the salamander" Mabel asked as she notice it in the watery orb.

"It's not a salamander." Dipper said. "It's an axolotl." He explained. "I was hoping you could take are of him for me." He said to Malia has he handed her the orb.

Malia took it wordlessly. "So, I guess you couldn't save him." She said.

"In a way I did." Dipper tried to explain but realized that perhaps it was better that he didn't. After all he could only imagine the pressure she would feel if she realized she was raising the actual Axolotl!

Malia looked down on the small creature before her lovingly. "I'll take good care him." She promised.

"I know you will." Dipper said.

Suddenly the sky began to bleed red and…kittens began falling from the sky.

"My dreams of kitten rain are finally coming to pass!" Mabel cried. "Girls help me catch them all!" She exclaimed.

Grenda and Candy waste no time trying to catch as many as possible.

"Okay that's weird." Stan said.

"Weird." Ford said gravely as his eyes fell on the Rift. "You don't think…"

Everyone turned and aimed their weapons at the hole in the sky…nothing happened.

For a moment there's an eerily silence then finally a voice from behind them says. "Hey whatcha' guys looking at?"

The group of humans scream and turn to see…

"Bill Cipher!"

Bill's eye creased suggesting a big smile. "Did you mis me?" He asked sarcastically. "Admit it you missed me."

I had feeling you'd be right behind me." Dipper smiled as Bill loomed over them.

"So, uh what now?" Stan asked. "You gonna like start something?"

Bill shrugged before changing back to his human form. "Na My other half is currently attached to you." He explained.

"Other half?" Ford asked confused.

"Yep we're family now." He said with an evil smile.

Mabel gasped. "You guys got married!" She hugged Bill happily. "I always wanted a brother in-law." She said.

Bill laughed realizing she basically just said she always wanted her brother to marry a man.

Dipper blushed. "We're not married, and Mable …just…ew!"

"Kid we're bonded in the ways of comic beings we might as well be." Bill reasoned.

"You know what this calls for girls!" Mabel exclaimed. "A wedding!"

"No, no, no!" Stan declared. "I'd rather be related to a Yeti!"

"And I'd rather fall into the bottomless pit." Ford agreed.

"Guys…" Pacifica whispered. "This isn't about what you want." She told them as Bill and Dipper began to talk among themselves. "This is about what they want."

Mabel stopped. "You're right, they should get the chance to figure out what their relationship is for themselves."

"But if it is love I call brides maid!" Pacifica suddenly decreed.

"Hey no fair!" Mabel yelled.

"And just when we thought we were finally rid of him." Stan said as the girls kept arguing.

Ford shook his head, he should have know better.

"So, I guess you're done with being evil now hu?" Mabel suddenly asked Bill.

Bill laughed openly. "Nope I learned nothing!" He stated.

"Bill." Dipper warned.

"Pine Tree only cares now because he still remembers what it's like to be human, give a millennium or two, all you guys will be gone, and he'll no longer care." Bill explained as if it was that easy. "I've waited a trillion years I can wait a few more. "

Everyone stared at him in disbelief.

"You are joking right?" Mabel asked hopefully.

"Maybe. Bill teased. "Maybe not."

"Well time to start restocking the bunker with doom supplies." Ford said as he made his way back to the shack.

"Wait don't leave me!" Stan shout running after him. "You know how awkward I get around new relatives!"

"I think that went well." Bill said.

"Great job Bill you've petrified them." Dipper began to lecture. "And if you think I'm going to just let you do whatever you want think again!"

"It was a joke kid geesh lighten up." Bill complained. "Seriously if this is ever gonna work you guys need to get use to my sense of humor."

"Bill your sense of humor involves disembodied heads and melting people's faces off!" Dipper continued to argue as the rest of the group made their way back into town. They had a lot of cleaning up to do before the towns folk returned.

But would they want to when they found out Bill was going to be a permanent resident?

"Well there goes the town." Gideon joked out loud.

"Hey, we learned to live with you." Dipper joked.

"Well at least I changed." Gideon pointed out.

"Bill's changed…sort of." Dipper argued.

"Nope I told you I learned nothing!" Bill decreed. "You hear that you crazy witch?" He shouted waiting for the Oracle to pop up.

Nothing happened.

"What Nothing?" Bill yelled. He shrugged, maybe the old hag had finally turned into dust from old age.

"You journey of self-growth has not yet ended." Mekhi said popping out of nowhere.

"Great elder gods what is wrong with you lady!" Bill decreed.

"Great trials still await thee." She warned.

"Yeah, yeah." Bill said. "Destiny and all that jazz; we get it."

"Wait what kind of trials?" Dipper asked.

"They come in twos, never one nor three." Mekhi said. "Upon the day winter turns to summer, the innocent shall bring forth the end of history and an age of fury."

"You just had to ask didn't you kid?" Bill shook his head as the Oracle disappeared.

"Now were cursed to fear the first day of summer for the rest of our lives!" Robby screamed.

"But what does it mean?" Dipper asked.

"Looks liker that's gonna have to wait another day." Mabel said as they arrived to see the town in ruin. "Man, when those demons made a run for it, they didn't stop for nothing."

The group of friends moaned, but otherwise set to work.

"Looks like we've got our work cut out for us." Dipper said. "You coming Bill?"

"Comes in twos but never one and three." Bill thought under his breath.

"I thought you didn't care." Dipper said playfully.

"I don't." Bill said. "It's just I'm usually really good these things." Bill reasoned. "A prophecy is just another kind of Cipher this should be easy for me."

Dipper shrugged. "Maybe that's because its not time for us to know."

"Pine Tree, the Pine Tree is okay with not knowing something." Bill gave him a look. "Who are you?"

"Very funny." Dipper said using levitation to start cleaning up the rubble around them. "I'm just saying we just got out of one Prophecy, can't we just you know take a breather or two before we dive into another one?"

Bill had to admit the kid had a point, so he pushed the thought away and shrugged be fore offering his mate a helping hand. They had a lot of work to do before this town was in live able shape again.

(Three days later…)

It had taken a lot of work, and a lot of convincing, but soon the towns people of Gravity Falls had begun to return, and life had started getting back to normal.

Well as normal as a town like Gravity Falls could get.

"T-Shirts, get your Bill Cipher Rulez T-shirts here!" Bill exclaimed as he held up several shirts of himself. "All those who buy will avoid my future wrath!"

Several of the mystery Shack costumers ran over, eager to buy his shirts.

"Yeah Gruncle Stan he's even better at this than you are." Mabel said as she and Stan watched from the cash register.

"Of course, he is." Stan said. "The guys a con-artist." He smiled at the pile of money in the cramped register. "And I love him, tell Dipper they have my blessing"

Suddenly the vending machine door opens to Ford and Dipper who immediately try to close it.

Several tentacles slip through the partly open door as they push against it.

"Nothing to see here!" Ford shouted. "Carry on, please."

"I thought I told you two no more experience in my house." Stan shouted.

"Your house I built it!" Ford yelled as he stopped helping Dipper to argue with his twin.

"And I paid for it for the last 30 some odd years!" Stan shouted back.

The vending Machine door begins to warp under the pressure.

"Uh guys?" Dipper asked hopefully. He could simply use his powers, but there were too many people around, anyone could get hurt.

Bill feeling his Distress suddenly turns into a living nightmare, a black triangle with multiple faces and jagged teeth.

All the tourist scream and run out of any door or window they can find.

"No refunds." Bill shouted. He turned then to face the growing problem. "Can't take my eyes off you for one minute." He teased.

Dipper rolled his eyes. "Just help me with this wot you?" he asked, changing into his own Pine Tree Form.

"Well as long as we're cleaning up each other's messes." Bill joked as the rest of the Pines Family geared up.

"You guys ready?" Dipper asked.

Everyone nodded.

Dipper moved and as the door swung open revealing a beast worthy enough to haunt even Bill's Nightmares the Pines family both new and old members striked as one.

Dipper smiled as the battle raged on, his life had changed since he first came to this seemingly quiet town, but now he realized as crazy as was He honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
