There were always whispers, mostly rumors and conspiracy theories.
Always sprouting up here and there, some were about the gym challenger's love life. Others, the secrets to their victory.
But recently there's a new one popping up all over the place.
She heard it all, every single time she went in a Pokemon Center.
It wasn't false, per se, but it wasn't exactly true.
She hated those people who thought she was in love with Leon. Leon, of all people, even though is was glaringly obvious that he liked Sonia.
No, not liked. He loved Sonia.
She didn't like him either for another reason... someone else had caught her eyes this time, and that was why her heart was pounding so fast when he asked her the important question, the one that sent her spirit flying.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes."
She knew it was coming. Anyone with sense would listen to the whispers as she had. He made it clear that he would ask. And she knew from the depth of her heart she would say yes.
Those whispers were never wrong, to be honest. Anyone and everyone knew that Hop and Gloria were meant to be.
