Chapter 17: The Third and Final Trial (Part 2)
In The Luxury Box above in The Crowd of Ponies watching, Princess Luna, Darkwing, and some of The Guards are watching Moon Flight and Gilda's Progress in The Trial, while Eating Snacks and Drinking. The Unibat and Griffin make their way to The Illusions, after picking which Weapon they'd like too use. Moon Flight chose The Bladed Horse Shoes, and Gilda chose a Sword. Commander Darkwing tells his Princess excitedly, "I think you're going too like This, your Majesty." Moon Flight and Gilda start too fight The Illusions, using their Weapons and Magic. As soon as Moon Flight started his Ash Spell, Princess Luna spat out her Drink in Shock at a Couple Guards, Realizing The Unibat was using Dark Magic. The Princess got up from her seat, and tells The Wet Guards, "My Apologies, If you'll excuse me." Luna trots towards an Alarm switch on a wall, too alert Everypony in The Castle about Moon Flight's Dark Magic. But before she could pull The Lever, she overhears how Everypony in The Crowd were amazed at how Moon Flight was Fighting. The Alicorn started too think for a Moment, "Hmm...Should I throw him in The Dungeon, or maybe...?" An Idea starts too pop in Luna's Head, as she trots away from The Alarm, and goes back to her Seat to watch The Final Trial. Moon Flight and Gilda fight back to back with The Illusions, showing The Crowd how they'd make a Great Duo. They have Two More Illusions too defeat, as Moon Flight tells Gilda, "I'll take The one on The Right, you go left." The Unibat and Griffin run towards The Last Two Illusions, and try to finish them off. Princess Luna leans forward in her seat, observing how much of a Fighter Moon Flight is. One of The Illusions knock Gilda's Sword out of her Claw, and starts to attack her. Moon Flight sees This, uses his Magic on The Illusion attacking him, and Throws it at The Illusion attacking Gilda, and both Poofed away. Moon Flight helps Gilda up, and they put their weapons back, before they fight The Manticore. Princess Luna became very interested in Moon Flight's Fighting, and thinks out loud, "How very interesting."
Pipsqueak, Thorax, Journey, and Orchid cheer at Moon Flight and Gilda's, along with The Rest of The Crowd. Just then, The Massive TV transitions away from The Duo, as DJ PON-3 announces, "Alright Lovers, It's time for The Kiss Cam." "WHAT?!" Shouted Thorax, as he becomes incredibly concerned. The TV starts too show A Mare and Stallion in The Crowd kissing each other, as Thorax's Real Left Ear starts too show. Pip notices Thorax shaking nervously, and asks The Changeling with worry, "Thorax, are you okay?" Thorax starts too panic, and tells Pipsqueak, "I need too get out of here, before I get exposed." The TV then shows Two Stallions kissing each other, then Thorax's Left eye changed into his Real eye, and grew back one of his Fangs. The Changeling is Freaking out, as his Changeling Parts start too show through his Crystal Hoof Form. "Pip, Please Help me." Thorax says to The Foal with Concern. Pipsqueak agrees to help Thorax, by leaving The Area too go to The Bathroom, as Thorax wanted too be alone in a Room for awhile. The Kiss Cam lastly showed Two Mares kissing, and begins too focus on Moon Flight and Gilda's Progress again.
Moon Flight and Gilda finally make it to The Manticore, as The Ferocious Beast Roars at them. "Remember what Darkwing and The DJ said," Moon Flight tells Gilda, "Not too kill The Manticore." The Griffin quips, "Oh don't worry, we are practically Cousins." The Manticore roars at The Duo again, and begins too attack. The Unibat and Griffin dodge The Manticore's swipe, as Moon Flight unleashes a Non Lethal Magic blast from his Horn. Making a Direct hit on it's side, The Manticore got mad, and turned his attention to The Unibat. Before it could sting Moon Flight, Gilda grabs The Manticore's Tail, and slams it against a Wall. Just then, The Manticore starts too wrap its's tail around Gilda's Body, strangling her like a Python. The Griffin started too have trouble breathing, due to The Manticore's Tail strangling her, She pleads to The Unibat, "Moon Flight, Help." Moon Flight decides too blast The Manticore in The Face, freeing his Griffin Friend from being Strangled. The Manticore roared once again, as Gilda uppercuts it in The Face. The Manticore uses its Tail, and slams Gilda against The Wall. The Griffin rubbed her Head, and The Manticore let out small roars at her. Gilda tells Moon Flight, "I don't speak Manticore, but I'm pretty sure it's saying 'How do you like it? Huh, How do you like it?'" "It's Possible." Said Moon Flight. The Unibat and Griffin charge towards The Manticore, and continue too fight it. But no matter how much They throw at it, The Manticore is really tough too fight. Moon Flight comes up with an Idea too defeat The Manticore, so he casts a Spell on it, before it attacks Gilda again. The Manticore starts too shrink, and turn into a Baby Manticore. The Baby Manticore starts too coo and laughed, as Everypony in The Crowd awed at how cute The Baby Manticore was, Even Princess Luna found The Manticore Cute. Since The Manticore is Now a Baby, Moon Flight and Gilda sprint to The Finish Line, and Finished The Final Trial.
Everypony including The Guards in The Luxury box, cheered for Moon Flight and Gilda. DJ Pon-3 tells The Unibat and Griffin through The Speaker, "Good Job you two. Hey Moon Flight, in about maybe 5 Minutes, can you change The Manticore back into an Adult, so others can fight it?" The Unibat nods to The DJ watching him, as Everypony in The Crowd that just so happen to bring cameras, can take Pictures of The Baby Manticore.
Up in The Luxury Box, Commander Darkwing tells Princess Luna, "See your Highness, I told you He's amazing. I think you should allow him too join us." Princess Luna got out of her seat, and tells The Bat Pony, "Yes, he is Amazing at Fighting. One problem though, That Pony uses Dark Magic." This shocks Darkwing, as he had No Idea Moon Flight was using Dark Magic. "Don't worry your Highness," said Darkwing. "I'll have him thrown in The Dungeon immediately." "No!" Said The Princess. "I think I'll have a talk with This Pony, as soon as The Final Trial is Over." Commander Darkwing asks Luna with concern, "But, what if he tries too attack you or something?" "I appreciate your concern Darkwing," says Luna. "But I can take care of Myself. I learned My Lesson The Day I became Nightmare Moon, that's why My Sister outlawed Dark Magic in Equestria. He will be punished, but I might have something planned for This Pony. For now, I'll allow him too be a Guard, as well as The Griffin." "But your Highness," Objected Darkwing. "Your Sister said..." "SILENCE!" Shouted The Alicorn Princess in a Booming Echo Voice. She then tells The Commander with her Normal Voice, "I made up My Mind." The Bat pony sighs in defeat, then says to Luna, "As you wish, My Princess."
