Farkle feels how everything went a bit slow motion for him, and take a few seconds to see his closest friend's faces after his revelation. The surprise and worry on Lucas' face, the tiny bit of Cosmo coming from Maya's mouth, Zay's surprise and relief, and the sad but understanding gaze his wife gives to him.

"What did you say?" Maya asks, taking a paper napkin to clean her lips.

"I said I accepted my Father's offer to take the direction of Minkus Tech, in Dubai." Farkle repeats himself.

Lucas fastly leans over the table, "Is this because I told you about Maya's plans?" he asks.

"You tell him that?" Maya asks Lucas.

"He's one of my best male friends." he answers.

"His best male friend." Farkle adds.

"I'm his best male friend." Zay corrects him.

"Are they serious right now?" Maya asks Lucas.

"Don't worry, you're my best friend." Lucas replies and puts his attention back to Farkle, "Please tell me you're not doing this because of that?" he asks again.

Farkle gives him an uncomfortable grin, "Sorry to disappoint, but yes, I decide to be completely impartial this time, so I remove myself from the equation." he explains.

"So, you're running away to not shit on them?" Zay says, half asking, half assuring.

"Zay!" Lucas says, raising his tone to correct his friend.

"Don't correct him, Lucas, he's right this time." Farkle defends Zay, "I already, as Zay loves to say, shit on you both once, not gonna do it again." he adds before taking his phone from his pocket, "Also, it's fucking Dubai man, it's not like I'm being sent to Guantanamo Bay." he continues.

Lucas gets closer to Farkle, "Farkle, you don't need to do this." he says, worried a bit for Maya.

"Ok, I'm gonna stop you here for a minute." Farkle says, giving Lucas a warm smile, "Yes, I'm doing this to avoid screwing anyone, but, this is also my job, it's something that, more sooner than later, it was written to happen." he explains, for a few seconds later, take his wife's hand, "If Isadora can be happy for me, why can't you?" he asks.

Isadora takes her hand from Farkle's, "Don't drag me into this, I understand, but I'm not happy with this." Isadora states.

Farkle closes his eyes, tired of this argument with his wife, "Isadora, for a millionth time, I'm not gonna cheat on you while I'm on Dubai and my father says that if I pay the gas, he will lend me his plane, so I will be here every 2 weeks for, well you know." he says.

"How filthy rich are you?" Maya asks.

Farkle just gives her a sufficient smile, "If you know how much money you have, then you don't have that much." he replies, making Maya throw him the piece of lime from her glass, "Hey!" he says with a grin.

After a few more hours, and way too many cocktails, Maya walks to Farkle, "I just need to ask one more thing." she says, slurring her words.

Farkle puts down his glass and takes a breath of his cigarette, "Shoot." he says.

Maya crossed her arm around his shoulders and press her forehead against his forehead, "In 4 years, after I propose to Lucas, are you gonna be at my wedding?" she asks.

Farkle just snorts a laugh, "Stupid question, I'm the best man." he answers.

"No, you're not!" Zay screams from the sofa, completely wasted, "Tell him, Lukey." Zay slurred to his best friend.

"Don't know, man, I just divorced." Lucas excuses himself before taking a sip of his soda.

"You're a bad friend Lukey." Zay says.

"Whatever you say, buddy." Lucas replies.

Farkle looks at Maya, "You might not believe it, but I'm gonna miss this." he says, making Maya smile.

"4 Years Farkles, in 4 years, you're gonna be at my wedding." Maya says, looking at Lucas deal with the over-affections of a drunk Zay.

"I know." Farkle replies.

Lucas jogs to his door after while he dries his hands with a paper towel. Once he opens, he welcomes his ex-wife, "Riley." he says with a warm smile.

"Lucas." Riley replies and presses a kiss on his cheek before giving him a bottle of wine, "I think this would suit your beef stew." she adds slowly walking inside.

"Mommy!" Lily screams in joy, running to Riley, who fastly picks her up and shower her with kisses.

"My favorite girl." Riley says and softly put her down.

Lily takes Riley's hand and guides her to the dining table, "Come, Daddy makes the best stew." she says, making Lucas smile.

"I know Lily, I used to be married to him." she softly comments, making Lucas smile vanish a bit and Lily to completely ignore it.

Once Lily and Riley were seated, Lucas carefully brings dinner, giving a bowl of warm stew to Riley and then one to Lily, and, as they did in the good times, they enjoy a meal and chat about their days.

Around an hour and a half, Lucas takes Lily to bed while Riley makes sure to pour coffee in a pair of mugs.

Lucas walks back, and Riley gives him one of the mugs, "Thank you." he says and takes a sip of the beverage, "Congratulations for joining the state ranks Miss prosecutor." he says, putting a soft smile on Riley's face.

"How do you know about that?" she asks back.

"Josh." he replies, making a short pause, "Mark's husband, not your uncle." he adds.

"Oh, well, thank you." she replies with a timid smile, getting them into a long, and unlike other times, relaxing silence, "I also heard something." she says, getting Lucas' attention.

"Hope only good things." he jokes.

Riley gives him a tiny smile before looking at her mug, "I heard that you're gonna marry Maya." she drops.

Lucas froze in his seat for good 5 seconds after those words came out from his ex-wife's mouth, "Sorry, what?" he softly says, trying to get some time to think.

"Are you gonna marry Maya?" Riley asks again, weirdly calm if they both consider the situation.

"Farkle?" he asks, still avoiding the question.

"Maya." Riley replies, "So, are you gonna marry her?" she asks a third time.

Knowing that she can't avoid it anymore, he let a soft sigh escape his mouth, "I am." he finally answers, "Two years ago, she told me she would ask me to marry her in five years, now three." he continues.

"Are you gonna say yes?" she asks this time.

Feeling a massive knot in his stomach, he finally gets the guts to speak the truth, "I am." Lucas simply replies.

Riley hoped that her ex-husband didn't notice how hard she was trying to contain, but probably the way she's biting her lower lip was giving her away, "I hope she's able to give you what I failed to give you." she says, feeling her throat to get dry.

Without thinking, Lucas walks closer to Riley and softly wraps her with his arms, "I'm sorry we didn't work, Riley." he softly says.

Riley lifts her eyes and looks at him, "Can I ask one last thing?" she asks him.

"Sure." Lucas answers.

"Please stay silent." she softly says before starting to cry against his chest.

Lucas felt something break inside him, sadly for him, it takes him too much time to realize that, even when he loved Riley, he didn't love her in the way she loved him.

After good 15 minutes, Riley finally moves from Lucas' chest, "I apologize for that." she says, drying her eyes with her sleeves.

"Want me to drive you home?" he asks.

"Nah, I'm good." she says picking up the mug with cold coffee, softly taking one last sip to it, "I forgot how much I hate cold coffee." she adds, slowly putting the mug on the sink, "Well, this is my cue to leave, as usual, your stew it's great." she says before taking a deep breath, walking to the living room to pick up her purse.

"You sure you don't want me to drive you home?" Lucas asks again.

"Lucas, please, I'm a grown "ass woman." Riley replies.

At those words, Lucas feels almost forced to smile.

"Goodbye, Lucas." she says, walking to his front door.

"Goodbye, Riley." he replies, waving to her, looking at her close the door after walking out. Once he was finally alone, he allows himself to breathe a bit.

To breathe lighter.

The next afternoon, while Lily was playing with Mia, Lucas decides to finally talk about last night, "May I ask why?" he asks her out of nowhere.

"Why what?" Maya replies, playing dumb.

"Why did you tell her?" he fastly replies, wholly exhausted from last night.

"Because if you or I didn't, Farkle would tell her." she answers.

Lucas looks at Maya surprised without taking his head from her lap, "How are you ok with that?" he asks.

Maya gives Lucas a soft smile, "People are free to do or say whatever they want Sundance." she replies, taking the importance to the whole Farkle thing, "Also, I'm not that blind to not notice that Farkle tends to always support Riley, so I thought if it's gonna happens anyways, why let Farkle do the dirty deeds?" she adds.

Lucas just closes his eyes and chuckles, "Again, how are you ok with that?" he asks.

"I can't afford to lose more friends, Lucas." she says, answering his joke.

Lucas stays silent for a few seconds before softly continuing, "How did she react?" he asks before slowly put his hand over hers.

Maya smile and intertwined her fingers with his. "She yells at me and questions our past." she resumes.

Lucas lifts her hand and puts a kiss on it, "You still love her." Lucas assures.

"Don't you too?" Maya asks back, looking at Lily, hug Mia from the back.

"I do." he replies, "Just not like you, never like you." he assures.

"Sap." she replies before pressing his lips against his.

"Your sap." Lucas says while his mind slowly drifts, hoping for the next 3 years to speed up.

"Hey, hey, sleepy eyes, wake up, Zay's coming." Lucas says, carefully moving Maya, who was napping on his lap.

"I'm awake, I'm awake, I wasn't sleeping." Maya says, getting up in seconds.

Lucas chuckles and then focuses again on Zay, "So?" he asks.

"Well, you both are now the Godparents of the one, Lucas Keith Babineaux." Zay replies with a huge smile on his face.

Lucas froze in his place, and Maya promptly hugs his friend, "You named him after me?" Lucas asks, surprised.

Zay just looks at his friend before softly palming his shoulder, "Well, history says it's a good thing for me to have a Lucas watching my back." he jokes.

What Zay didn't expect was his friend's reaction.

"I love you man." Lucas softly says and kisses his friend's cheek before getting a bit away from him, "Let's go see my Godson." he says, a bit overwhelmed.

The group walks to Vanessa's room, and Zay softly knocks the door, "Baby." he says to his wife softly opening the door, "And new baby." he adds, looking at his son, "I have some people who want to see you two." he says while Lucas and Maya carefully walk in.

"Hey." Maya softly says.

"Too tired new mama?" Lucas asks.

"Way too much, and I miss coffee so much." Vanessa replies before looking at her husband, "I'm gonna do this only one more time, maybe 2 if you ask nicely, but no more." she warns him, making Maya laugh.

"He's so beautiful." Maya says, softly caressing baby Lucas cheek.

"Well, I'm his father, after all." Zay flatters himself.

"Good thing, he gets all the good features from Vanessa." Lucas jokes.

A few hours later, Maya was outside the nursery, making funny faces to baby Lucas, when adult Lucas walks to her and hugs her from behind, "I can't believe Zay is a parent now." he says.

"He's gonna be a great father." Maya comments.

"No doubt about that." he adds, sinking his nose on her neck.

"You're thinking about babies, don't you." Maya says after several minutes of silence.

"Can you blame me?" he asks, "Zay has been bombarding me with baby stuff the last 9 months." he adds, resting his chin on her shoulder.

Maya stood silent, enjoying the warmth of his body behind her before softly closing her eyes, "Do you think you would ever want another kid?" she asks.

"With who?" he teases her.

"I hate you." she answers, with a playful smirk joining her close eyes.

"No, you don't." Lucas replies, watching how his Godson sleeps on the nursery, "With you, all the kids you want." he then answers her initial question.

Maya giggles and turns over to put a soft peck on his lips, "I'm good with one." she says.

"The one it is." Lucas comments, "Shawn Friar." he continues, making Maya chuckle.

"You already picked the name?" she asks, "How do you know it's gonna be a boy?" she asks this time.

"I may, or not, have played the babies game with Zay when we were in Middle School." he answers.

They both keep quiet, a bit afraid, both for different reasons.

Maya, thinking if those names were for him and Riley.

Lucas, thinking if he should confess that he wanted to marry her in Middle School.

In the end, they both share one last thought, 'Only 2 more years'.

Maya softly opens Lucas' front door and walks in with a bag with a few of her snacks when she was fastly intercepted by Lily.

"Did you get me something?" she asks.

"Do you have anything for me?" Maya asks back.

"I do." she says, extending her hand.

"Good girl." Maya says and puts a snickers bar on Lily's hand, "What you have for me?" she asks.

"Two things, I'm gonna come back late, but I will be at Mia's house." Lily says, opening the bar and give it a bite, "And good luck with him." she continues, fastly sneaking away.

Maya felt nervous. When Lily wishes her luck, it always means trouble for her. She slowly starts to walk to the kitchen, thinking about the things she had hidden from Lucas, she was sure it wasn't the lingerie since she passed that for a gift from him, she also reduces her sugar since her mother was diagnosed with diabetes, "Fuck." she softly says, remembering the one thing she wanted to keep from Lucas.

That damn ring.

Maya walks into the kitchen, only to be surprised by Lucas.

"Good afternoon." he says, looking at her eyes, almost looking for a confession.

"Jesus Christ!" she yells, looking back at him, deadly serious, sitting in the kitchen, drinking coffee, and that was never a good signal, "Always good to see you Sundance, but you kinda creep me out with that glare." she comments on his stance.

"Sorry, but after a certain favor, you ask me about your taxes, there is something that refuses to leave my head." he replies.

Maya stiffens, hoping he didn't notice how much she spend on the ring she gets him, "Yeah? And what exactly you didn't like about my bank account? Worried about the size?" she tries to avoid his suspicion, "You know size doesn't matter." she teases him.

"Ha, funny." he says sarcastically, "I saw something on your taxes that I didn't like." he says and put a copy of her tax declaration on the counter, with something highlighted in yellow.

Maya took the copy and looked at the highlighted item.

Her apartment.

"What's wrong with my apartment?" she asks, dumbfounded.

"Nothing really." Lucas answers, "I was just wondering why you still have it when you spend at least 5 nights of the week here?" Lucas says.

Maya takes a deep breath and chuckles, "Like you just said, Taxes McBoingBoing." she starts, "I spend 5 nights here, but I still need to sleep the other 2 days." Maya continues.

Lucas smiled at her, "I don't like that." he says and then pushes a tiny black box through the counter, closer to her.

Maya felt her lungs stop working for a second and take the box with her hands, "What is this?" she asks.

"Just open it." he replies.

Maya opens the tiny box, only to find a gold-painted key, and then everything makes sense for her.

"I already asked Lily, and she loves you almost as much as I do." Lucas says with a loving smile on his face, "Do you want to move here?" he asks.

Maya looks at him with equal love on her eyes and fastly slaps his face, only to hug him a second later, "If you give me a scare like that again, people will never find your body." she says, hiding her face on his chest.

Lucas just laughs and hugs her back, "Is that a yes?" he asks.

"Stupid." she says and presses her lips against his, feeling a lot safer, knowing that he didn't put care enough on the ring.

Lucas smelled her hair and kissed her forehead, hoping that if the ring Isadora is helping him pick, it would be enough to compete with the one Maya bought for him.

"I'm hungry, it's your fault, make me food." Maya says, making a little pout.

Lucas let a deep sigh out, "Aye, aye captain." he says, thinking that he only needed 1 more year.

"You know that you're asking for something complicated for me, right?" Mary asks Maya, who was sitting in front of her, eating a piece of her pecan pie.

"I know." Maya replies before putting her final piece of the pie in her mouth.

"More pie?" Mary asks, avoiding the tenacity on Maya's eyes.

"Yes please." Maya replies. While Mary walks to her fridge to get more pie, Maya put her bag on the table and carefully starts looking for something.

"What you're looking for, dear?" Mary asks.

"My offer." she says, feeling her smile grow wide at the sight of the tiny navy-blue box, "There you are." she says to the box before put it in front of Mary, "Mrs. Friar." she started.

Knowing what's in the box, Mary softly puts her hand over Maya's hand and looks at her with caring eyes, "Mary." she corrects her.

"Ok, cool." she says and starts again, "Mary, you have no idea how much I wished to be Riley when she got married to Lucas." she states before looking down for a second, "For years I told myself that Riley was the perfect match for your son and that I should be the best friend so they can have the perfect life they deserve." she continues, still looking down, remembering the circumstances of her relationship with Lucas, "Sadly, when I met Lucas, I was in a point of my life where I only wanted to protect the fairy tale my best friend had, even when that means rip myself from a chance to be happy." she adds, feeling a few tears fall through her cheeks.

Mary fastly takes her handkerchief and dry her tears, "Don't cry my dear." she says, giving him a comforting smile.

"You both do the same when I'm like this." she laughs. Instinctively her hand caught Mary's hand, "Ok, ok, ok, I'm good." she adds pulling her spirits up, "But." she says and makes a tiny pause, "But, now, things are different, he's in a different point in life, and me too, we've both learned from our time as friends and with other people, and it seems that I've been the worst liar in the world, because even when I tell everyone that I wasn't in love with your son, deeply, I was, I am, and I was ready to leave him next to my ballerina dreams, but, turns out that your son loves me back." she says and pick up the box and opens it, showing Mary Friar and massive gold ring, with a 1x1 centimeter dark Verdelite in the center.

Shocked, Mary picks up the ring and analyzes the piece, "It's beautiful, Maya." she praises her.

"Glad you like it." she says before receiving the ring from Mary's hands, "I love your son, let me marry him." she asks Mary, who gives her a soft smile.

"Just promise me you're gonna cherish him." Mary says, dropping happy tears for the first time in a long time.

"For the rest of my life." Maya replies, seconds before Mary hugs her tightly.

A few hours later, Maya softly knocks on a pretty familiar door.

On the other side, Mark softly opens it and smiles at Maya, "She's with Mia in her room." Mark says.

"Thank you for the heads up." Maya says, walking into Mark's house, nervously walking upstairs.

On her way up, Maya wasn't able to suppress the turns her stomach was doing. One thing was convincing a mother who saw what Riley did, but with Lily, a completely different story since she was nothing but the best mother, she can be with her. She stood outside Mia's room for a few minutes and was interrupted by Mia, who opens her door.

"Miss Hunter?" Mia asks, confused to see Maya outside her room.

"Hey, aunt Maya." Lily says, popping out her head from behind Mia.

"Hey girls." she says, "Mia, dear, I have something to talk with Lily, do you mind go out to enjoy something nice?" she asks, before pulling a 20 dollars bill.

"Nice." Mia says, taking the bill and turning back to look at Lily, "Boston Creme?" she asks her best 'friend'.

"I love you so damn much." Lily replies.

"I know, I know." Mia says, slowly walking downstairs.

Once they were alone, Lily sits back on the floor of Mia's room, and mimicking her, Maya sits in front of her.

"So, I'm in trouble?" Lily asks.

"Did you get caught doing something?" Maya asks back.

"I'm gonna use my right to remain silent." Lily answers.

"Good, because I'm here for something unrelated to whatever you did." Maya says, surprising Lily, "Come on, you just give yourself up with that." she explains, before taking off the same ring she showed Mary Friar a few hours ago and as same with her, she put it in front of Lily, "Lily, you know that I love you and that I love your father." she started.

"Yes, you can marry him." Lily answers the not asked question.

"So, I'm here to ask you, wait, what?" Maya replies, dumbfounded.

"Yes, you can marry my Dad." she says before laying on the floor and rest her head on Maya's lap.

Instinctively, Maya's hand lands on Lily's head, and she softly starts to caress her hair, "Are you for real?" she asks, still unsure about what just happened.

"Do you know who loves my Dad more than you?" Lily asks, "Me." she answers before Maya was able, "With all due respect aunt Maya, I would be a liar if I tell you that I don't want my parents to be back together." she continues, making Maya's heart twitch with grief, "But I'm not blind, nor stupid, to not notice that my Dad doesn't look at my Mom in the way he looks at you aunt Maya." she explains.

"I'm sorry about that." Maya apologizes.

Lily denies with her head, "Don't apologize for making my Dad happy." she says.

Maya smile at her Goddaughter, thinking how she was able to grow that fast without her noticing, "So you don't hate me at all?" she asks, still unsure about Lily's opinion.

"I hate the situation, but I love you both, way too much to be mad for you two being all lovey with each other." she explains her feelings.

Maya warmly smiles at Lily, who silently closes her eyes, enjoying the blonde's petting.

Soon they were startled by a camera flash, "This is gold." Mia says with a grin on her face.

"Don't you dare." Lily says with a playful tone.

"Yeah? What you're gonna do?" Mia asks back, teasing her best' friend'.

Lily smiled and get way too close to Mia, "You don't want to know." she replies, teasing her best' friend' back.

Maya looks at them, half surprised, half proud, "Ok, I think that's my cue to leave." she says, getting up from the floor, picking up the box on the way.

Once she leaves Mia's room, Lily grabs her hand, "Just remember I love you both." she says before pulling her closer and hugging her tight.

"I love you too." Maya says, pressing her lips against her hair, "Now let me leave you both alone." she adds with an 'I caught you both' tone.

Lucas opens his door front, officially ending his workday. He walks inside, a bit tired, only to be greeted by the image of his daughter packing things on a backpack, "Lily?" he calls her.

"Hey, Dad." Lily says, putting his phone charger on her bag.

"I'm gonna let pass the fact that my charger is inside your bag to ask the obvious question." he says, making his daughter blush a bit, "Isn't too early to go to your Mother's house?" he asks.

Lily finished packing and starts to walk to Lucas, "That's because I'm not going to my Mother's house." she replies before softly putting a kiss on her Father's cheek, "Mia and I are joining Jayden and his sister, and we're going to the beach." she explains.

"Oh, and you decided that it would be a good idea to just go and not tell me?" Lucas asks.

"Mom said it was ok." Lily defends herself.

"Well, at least you ask one of us." Lucas says, "Anything else you need besides my phone charger?" he asks.

"Well, ice cream doesn't buy itself." Lily jokes.

"You're right, I buy it." Lucas says, pulling out his wallet, "How much this time?" he asks.

"I'm good with a 20." Lily replies.

Lucas pulls out a 20 and gives it to his daughter, "Please try to eat something healthy from time to time." he begs.

"No need." Lily replies, "I will be back tomorrow afternoon." she says, fastly kissing his Father's cheek and run to Mia's house.

Lucas chuckles, knowing that he was fooled. Accepting defeat, he walks to the kitchen, only to find Maya taking 2 bags of marshmallows, a few chocolate bars and a pack of graham crackers, "Can I have some of that?" he asks.

Maya stops and turns to look at him, "Of course Sundance, this is, actually, for both of us." she says and winks at him, "You and I are gonna have fun in the backyard tonight." she adds.

Lucas looks at her, surprised, "Really? Awesome." he says and takes the chocolate bars and the graham crackers from Maya's hands, "Wait, when you say fun in the backyard, you mean PG13 fun, right?" he asks.

Maya stop for a second and turn to give him a charged glare, "Well, I was thinking PG, but I like the way you think Sundance." she adds, walking to his backyard.

"I walk into that." Lucas says, more to himself than to Maya. He follows her, and once he crosses his kitchen door, he felt his heart rate skyrocket. A log on his backyard, his grill with red hot firewood and a bottle of wine on the grass, "Now I get the s' mores thing." he says before sitting in the log.

"Sorry if it's not a real one." Maya says, sitting next to him.

Lucas softly kisses her and then opens the pack of graham crackers, "I'm gonna give you an A+ for the effort." he teases her.

Maya smiled at him and punched his arm, "Well, get ready then because I'm gonna work extra credits on that." she replies.

Lucas felt a chill down his spine, "Love when you talk nerdy to me." he jokes.

"Of course, you do." she replies and opens one of the marshmallows bags, "Now, let's eat, drink wine, and make out." she adds, shoving 3 marshmallows in her mouth.

Almost 2 hours of jokes, teasing, S' mores, wine, and 2 make out sessions, Lucas was ready to take things back to the bedroom, "Ok, This is gonna kill my teacher rep, but I think we should move things to the bedroom if you want that extra credit." he teases her.

Maya gives him the smile he loved, even when she had something else planned for him, "Sorry to disappoint Sundance, but not yet." she says before looking at her phone, "Give me a few minutes, also, if you can put out the fire, that would help me." she says before getting up and jog back inside.

Surprised, Lucas only nods, "O-ok." he says, watching Maya leaving him alone. He also gets up and closes the lid to cut the oxygen. Lucas waits for a few minutes and opens the top to check the firewood, "Ok, done with the fire." he says and walks inside, "Hey Maya, the fire is down." he says, slowly muting his tone, looking at Maya on one knee in the kitchen, "Are you serious?" he asks, feeling incredibly nervous.

"I told I would do it." Maya replies with a smile before taking the little navy-blue box from her back pocket, "I ask you to wait for me for 5 years, and surprisingly, you did." she starts. Lucas fastly gets on his knees and kiss on of her hands, "And to honor your commitment, I honor my promise, I ask your Mother, and she allowed me to do this, I ask Lily, and she gave me her blessing too." she relates to him, "Lucas, I've loved you for a long time, I've loved you even when I ask myself to not love you." she continues, while Lucas felt his eyes a bit watery, "These last 5 years has been a blast, even those days when we fight, I would not change anything from us, well, except for one thing." she adds, softly opening the tiny box, "Lucas Friar, will you Marry me?" she finally asks.

Lucas smiled at her, "I've been waiting 5 years to hear that question." he says and gets up the fastest he can, "Give me a second." he says and runs to their room.

"You serious right now?" she asks, perplexed.

3 minutes later, Lucas returned, "Sorry, needed something before answering." he replies and gets on his knees with her. Lucas takes the ring from Maya's box and put it on his ring finger, "Yes, I Will Marry you." he says before showing Maya another tiny navy blue box, "Now, you, Maya Hunter." he says and opens the box, showing her a ring, "Will you marry me?" he asks her.

"Well, I kinda ask first." she teases him, only to smile a second later, "Of course Sundance." she replies, and Lucas put the ring on her finger.

A few hours and a few miles away, 2 notification shows up on Lily's phone.

'FriarTheVet just uploaded a photo'

'Mayart just uploaded a photo'

"Aren't you gonna check that?" Mia asks.

"I know what it is." Lily replies before hiding her face with her knees and arms.

"You knew it could happen one day." Mia softly says, trying to comfort her friend.

"I know." Lily replies, "That's why I didn't stop her, It hurts, but I will be fine, just not tonight." she explains.

Mia gets closer to Lily and softly makes Lily look at her, "What can I do to make you feel better?" she asks.

Lily smiled at Mia with her eyes with tears, "Just do like you always do." she says before giving Mia a soft peck that Mia returns.

"I love you, Lily." Mia says, giving Lily another peck.

"I love you too Mia." Lily replies, receiving the peck and tight hug.

Just one more.
