Rose and Quetzan were both walking the the field catching up on things and Rose finally offered to her old friend.

"Quetzan, let us get out of here and go home." said Rose.

"I cannot. I adore this place." said Quetzan.

"Right. You are comfortable in your personal Nirvana as you put it." said Rose.

"Rose, the world is not my home no more. I know I have my brother and sister, but I will meet them again in some other life. I am here now, as a servant and agent of the universe at large." said Quetzan.

"Then I cannot persuade you to come home? Very well. Then one day... I hope I get to meet you again." said Rose as she kissed Quetzan one last time.

"This isn't goodbye Rose. I will see you again in the netherworld... one day." said Quetzan.

Upon returning to Cory and Zigi, Rose told them the rather sad news.

"I thought so. Quetzan was always a fanatic when it came to his mumbo jumbo." said Zigi.

"But what shall we do with the body? He's still breathing and he has not thinned out." said Rose.

Just then, little by little, shards of light appeared and Quetzan's body began to disappeer in small fragments of light as they floated up into the sky.

"He's one with the universe after all." said Cory.

"Then... what now?" asked Zigi.

"You two need to find a place to stay safe. One of the Diamonds has had her court interrupted by yours truly and knowing her, she must have sent some of her soldiers to hunt me down. I suggest you and your sister go North from here. There are villages there." said Rose.

"Oh Rose. After all this time... You still look out for us." said Zigi.

"Of course I do. I will protect all of you!" said Rose.

"I had hoped my future vision may help you, but your Garnet... I see a wonderful future for her." said Cory.

"I will miss you both." said Rose.
