Chapter 17-Goblins
The three men walked the blond into the large marble building a little before noon. The group looked like royalty walking into the bank. They had on their best business robes no one dared to come up to them as they walked through Diagon Alley. Hermione was excited and a little nervous about the three men she was with. More that someone will notice who one of them was and start a fight.
As soon as they walked in the goblin took them into the conference room. To that they were surprised at who was in attendance was an understatement. If Voldemort looked at any of them, they trembled but maintained their silence. Later Hermione understand since he had a massive amount of gold in the bank.
"Hello Miss Riddle-Malfoy," Ragcuff greeted as he walked into the room, "Welcome Mr. Malfoy, Mr. Snape, and Mr. Riddle."
"Let's get on with it," Voldemort said.
"Tom," Hermione chastised, "Forget about him Ragcuff. We are grateful you could fit us into your schedule today. Unfortunately, these men have no patients. Can we start, please?"
Ragcuff was amazed at her way of handling her father and her polite tone toward him. Again, like yesterday he was amazed at how she talked to creatures. Most purebloods even muggle-borns either talked with disdain for fear. No one in todays time talked to goblins with respect. The Head Goblin was starting to think maybe times were changing. "Very well. We will start with the reading of the will," Ragcuff said, "After that if you wish we can go to any vault or talk through all matters."
Hermione smiled. She was ready to get the formalities over with and to just be able to relax for the next few weeks till term started again. Ragcuff started to read the will,
Last Will and Testament of Diana Maria Malfoy
Thank you all for being her. I am sorry it has to be this way, but I have known for a while that I will not be here long. I am not mad anymore about it so none of you should be either. I have outlined everything in this will to be divided as such.
To the Grangers I wish to pay them $1,000,000.00 pounds for taking care of my beloved child all these years. I hope she was taken care of well and as loved as I would have given her.
To Severus my dearest friend. I leave you my apothecary in London and Hogsmeade. I know how much you hate working at Hogwarts and I wish to gift you the ability to have your own businesses where you can research and do any potion you wish without any children involved.
To Lucius, you were the best big brother a girl could ask for I could never repay you. I can only give the thing you wish most our childhood beach property in Spain. I know you have a lot of homes but that one always was our favorite and its just ours. Only share with blood because they will be the only ones to appreciate it.
To my beloved Tom, since you never made me your wife, I wish to return my ring to you. It is yours to give the women you wish to spend your life with since I wasn't the one whom it belonged too.
Now to my darling daughter Hermione, I leave you everything. I wish you well and hope that life brings you everything you need. I have and will be watching over you.

All three men had tears in their eyes. Tom looked the worse. Hermione wasn't sure what to do but she decided to distract the goblin so the three men could compose themselves. "SO Ragcuff what all is everything?" Hermione said, "I'm not aware of exactly how wealthy everyone is, so I am unaware of what everything is."
Ragcuff smiled amazed at the innocents that one sentence confirmed to him. "Well Miss Riddle-Malfoy it seems that thanks to your uncle your mother's investments have really paid off. She was into fashion and beauty. She invested her inheritance into almost all the fine retail shops in Diagon Alley. They have been paying the dividend to her account, so you have over $15,000,000.00 galleons and counting. We can draw up a ledger and give exact account," Ragcuff informed, "You also have about 10 properties. Five are buildings in Diagon Alley. Four are rented and one is for lease now. All are ran through a leasing agency. The other five are houses throughout the world. You know of the one in London. There is a similar townhouse in France, two cabins on beaches on in Hawaii and another in St. Martin. Finally, there is a winery in the Rhine area of France that is in working production and has been producing fine wines for years. The estate there is empty just waiting for you to visit."
Hermione was shocked. She was wealthy. "There is also an account that my father set up for unknown heirs. He thought it would be for himself since he turned into a lady's man after my mother's death but turns out you can add about $6,000,000.00 Galleons to her vault," Lucius informed the room.
"What?" Hermione exclaimed.
"Of course, Mr. Malfoy," Ragcuff said smiling, "It seems that you are a very wealthy woman."
"You said I have a building here in Diagon Alley available," Hermione said.
"Yes, you do," Ragcuff said.
"Can you please fire call the leasing agency and have the property taken off the market I know what I want to do with it," Hermione informed them.
"Very good, Miss Riddle-Malfoy," Ragcuff said.
"Please call me Hermione," She replied.
"Very well, Hermione," The Head Goblin said blushing slightly.
It was the first time that a wizard wanted him to call them by their given name. "What are you going to do with the property?" Tom asked.
"Let's go back to the house and I will tell you," Hermione said smiling.
The group left quickly after that. The only thing left was Hermione got a card similar to a muggle credit card, but it would work in the wizarding world and the muggle one. Hermione also needed to get her parents money to them.
