Malcolm's POV

All he could do was freeze at the cold steel touch. He wanted to get up but to do so would be disrespectful to his liege. Disrespect was dangerous and mostly fatal.

Ra's growled like the possessive alpha he was, "The only reason you are alive right now is because of my omega. Tell me what is going on now Al Saher."

Malcolm took a breath through his nose as he replied, "My liege there has been a change that I only found out recently myself. Oliver Queen is not a Queen by birth."

His liege's eyes narrowed in disbelief and Malcolm explained. It had been a single night between himself and Moira Queen. He and his wife had been having problems during her pregnancy. Just as Moira and Robert had been having problems.

Like the rest of the world, he had assumed that Oliver had been Robert's son. Even Robert hadn't known until Oliver presented as an omega. There had never been a male of the Queen line that presented as an omega. Thea herself even presented as a rare female alpha.

Robert Queen was lucky he was already dead. If Malcolm had known what he put Oliver through he would have killed the man much sooner. It would have been by his own hand best friend or not. Child abuse was not something he or the League would abide by.

Ra's looked at Oliver a softness coming over his features. Malcolm had known the alpha a long time and in that time he had never seen such a look. It was only now that he was beginning to understand his son and Ra's. They were mates and Ra's obviously cared about his omega or he wouldn't be here.

Malcolm said looking at the bodies, "I don't know who they are put they were after Oliver. From what I could tell they had orders to take him alive but kill anyone he was with."

Al Sayf growled, "We can protect Al Sahim ourselves, Al Saher."

Malcolm snapped back, "You've done a brilliant job so far. He has no memories of his past or of you. There are those hunting him some to kill, some to capture. Tell me how that is protecting him."

A groan caught their attention and a voice said weakly, "Stop fighting."

They all looked down to find Oliver blinking up at them. His blue eyes were glazed over and weren't really seeing them.

Ra's had once again dropped down next to his omega. Oliver was trying to sit up but whatever had caused him to collapse was keeping him weak.

Ra's helped Oliver to sit up as he said, "Ease there, Habib. You are safe."

The young man shook his head his eyes clearing slightly. He said, "I have to keep going. I have to find out why I was almost killed and ending up in the water. I have to know Ra's."

A tired sigh escaped the alpha. Then there was a glance given to him. Malcolm met it evenly.

"Then you will take Al Saher and Al Sayf with you. I will have to return to Nanda Parbat soon. If you go on a search for your past then you will take them with you."

Oliver nodded before collapsing back into the older man. Malcolm sighed. It seemed he would be dragged back into working with the League. He could only hope that they wouldn't take their pound of flesh for his failed attempt to destroy the Glades. If the look he was receiving was any indication he wasn't going to be that lucky.

Ra's ordered coldly, "There's a safe house nearby. Let's go there so we can make plans there."

Oliver's POV

When he came to his head pounded like he had been hit with a sledge hammer. He made a pained sound and rubbed at his temple as he sat up. The room was plain and had two doors in the corners. Then there was a dresser.

Oliver was still wearing the clothes he had been when he passed out. It was likely he was with the League wherever he was. They were likely waiting for him to wake up to drag him back to Nanda Parbat.

Gingerly he stood and moved towards the door closest to him. When he opened it he saw Al Sayf sitting closest to his door. He was glaring at Malcolm Merlyn. On the other side of the room was Malcolm. His arms were crossed over his chest as he took the glare.

Oliver cleared his throat drawing their attention. Two sets of eyes rounded on him.

Al Sayf said, "Al Sahim glad to see you back up again."

Oliver returned the greeting before he asked, "Where are we? Are we returning to Nanda Parbat?"

Another voice answered, "No I will but Al Sayf and Al Saher will be protecting you."

Oliver turned to the right where he could see Ra's entering from another room. The alpha looked exhausted but there were comfort and love crossing their bond.

Oliver questioned unsurely, "You're not coming with us?"

Al Sayf answered calmly, "No the Demon's Head must return to Nanda Parbat. I'll be staying with you as will Al Saher if he wants to keep his head."

Malcolm snapped back, "I'm not going to leave him, Al Sayf. He is my son and I will help him."

"Good, Al Saher because if my omega is injured I will kill you," came the chilling reply, "Not only for failure to protect him but for the betrayal of your oath."

Malcolm flinched but Oliver ignored it for the moment. He snarled at Ra's, "Do not talk about me like I'm your property. If I get injured or am killed it won't be either of their fault."

Ra's blinked at him then sighed, "Oliver I'm not trying to say you are a possession. However, Al Saher has betrayed the League and deserves to be punished. This is the only way he does not end up tortured and eventually dead by League law."

Oliver wanted to grumble about it but he knew it wouldn't do him any good. If anything it might make Ra's take him or Malcolm with them. Oliver took a deep breath as he nodded accepting the words.

From there Al Sayf began to go over plans. Their plan would be to use him as bait. A twitch of displeasure went across his bond with Ra's. He didnt agree with using him as bait. However, he wouldn't interfere with their plans.

Malcolm would be on the rooftops watching him. Al Sayf would be in the crowd ready to grab whoever came after him. The goal would be to take at least one of them alive.

Once plans were finished Ra's was moving towards his own room. His alpha was giving him space. At this point, Oliver felt bad for denying him. He looked for permission at Al Sayf as his alpha went into his room.

Al Sayf glanced between him and the door. Then he nodded and that was all Oliver needed. He went to the door before he hesitated again. There was a good chance that his alpha didnt want to be interrupted. Pushing his insecurities away he knocked. There was a flash of annoyance across their bond. Then the door was yanked open and Ra's blinked at him in surprise.

Concern and curiosity crossed the bond and his alpha's face. Oliver questioned carefully, "Can I come in Ras?"

Ra's stepped back to allow him inside the room. Then Oliver went inside without any hesitation.
