U.A's Saiyan Heroes-21
Somewhere, high above the clouds, Kami and Morgo were watching with baited breath for the outcome of the fight that was transpiring on top of I-Island's central tower. The Changeling and the Namekian prayed that Kaen and Midoriya would be triumphant in their fights, and beat the villains that had invaded I-Island.
"Kami, do you sense that?" Morgo asked.
"I do Morgo. Somehow, there's fruit from the tree of might, here on Earth Alpha." Kami said. "An' its power is tainted, and being given to Wolfram as we speak."
~With Kaen and Midoriya~
Kaen and Midoriya lunged forward, slamming their fists into their opponent's faces. Knocking Wolfram and Adam back, as they continued their endless onslaught of attacks. Kaen had a lot of steam and anger to burn off, and he didn't know a better place to let out some steam, than by beating a couple of villains to a pulp alongside his best friend. Landing blow after blow, causing the villains to be pushed back as Kaen and Midoriya were gaining ground.
Adam jumped away from Midoriya, getting out of his reach, before he sent a crescent attack at the two Saiyans. Midoriya saw the attack coming, and reversed the polarity on his gauntlets, before he held his hands out, and caught the energy wave with them. Adam's eyes widened when he saw that Midoriya's gauntlets were actually absorbing the energy, and boosting their power.
When the energy wave was completely absorbed, Adam went on the defensive as Midoriya went charging at him, sending his own energy attack back at him in the form of repulser blasts.
Adam used his blade to slice through each of the blasts, but he was unaware as each of the attacks forced him closer and closer to the edge, before Midoriya uppercut him, hitting his jaw, sending him a few feet off the ground, and knocking off his mask. As Adam felt himself falling to the ground, he was suddenly stopped, when Midoriya grabbed him by the ankle, and pulled him up.
"Why… why rescue a villain?" Adam questioned.
"Because a hero's job is to protect lives. Not end them, when there's a way to avoid it." Midoriya said.
"How sweet." Wolfram smirked, as he was somehow keeping pace with Kaen and dodging his attacks.
'Not good. He's somehow able to keep up with me now. How's that possible? He's not wearing the Quirk enhancer device, but there's something different about him. His power is increased, he's stronger, and more agile than before. An' this aura that's around him. It's completely dark. What's going on?' Kaen questioned. 'If I don't land a precise hit on him soon, then I'm not gonna be able to win this without going to my full power.'
"However, sentimentality has never been my thing." Wolfram said, ducking down, sending a wave of spiked metal at Midoriya.
Kaen's eyes widened in shock as he witnessed the metal piercing Midoriya from behind, forcing his grip on Adam to end, thus making the villain fall from the top of the tower.
"MIDORIYA." Kaen called out, backhanding Wolfram before running towards his best friend, and destroying the metal spike that pierced him, while still keeping the piece in his chest. "Midoriya, stay with me pal."
"Kaen… I'm sorry… I wasn't strong enough…" Midoriya said, coughing up blood.
"Hey, stay with me pal." Kaen said.
"I'm sorry but… It looks like I won't… be helping you rebuild the Saiyan Race…" Midoriya said, the blood pooling out of him staining Kaen's hands. "Tell my mom… I'm sorry… and Penny that I wish I could have seen our child, grow to be…"
Midoriya wasn't able to finish his statement as the life force left him, and turned his body cold.
"Midoriya? MIDORIYA." Kaen shouted.
"Aww, what's the matter huh? Feeling upset because your little friend fulfilled his dream, and died as a hero?" Wolfram questioned, standing over by the helicopter. "I mean you shouldn't feel too bad should you? It is what he wanted after all."
"Shut up. You monster." Kaen growled, lying Midoriya on the ground, and closing his eyes.
"What? All I'm saying is he was simply able to fulfill his dream." Wolfram smiled, grabbing the case with the Quirk Enhancer Device.
In an instant, Kaen flew through the air, and grabbed David Shield, before using a Ki blast aimed for the gas tank and caused the aerial vehicle to explode, the light of the flames dancing around him.
"Kaen… I…"
"Save it Uncle…" Kaen said, setting him down by the entrance to the escape path. "I don't wanna hear your excuses. My best friend, and your daughter are dead now. Their blood is on your hands, all because you wanted to keep dad on his pedestal." Kaen exclaimed, letting out a heavy sigh. "But you don't really care about stuff like that, do you Wolfram?" Kaen asked, his eyes closed, as the visage of Wolfram came up from the flames behind him.
"Impressive, you were able to tell I was still alive." Wolfram said, his voice changed, sounding like multiple people talking at once.
~Kami's Lookout~
"Not good Kami. This is not good." Morgo said.
"I know Morgo, I know. With both the power of the corrupted fruit from the Tree of Might, and the Quirk Enhancement Device, Wolfram has become a powerful foe, even stronger than Kaen. This isn't looking good for any of them." Kami said, with a surprisingly calm demeanor on her face.
"You don't seem awfully concerned about this new development." Morgo said.
"Wolfram's power might have increased, but it's still only a fraction of Frieza's true strength." Kami explained. "When one looks that kind of power in the eye, and lives to tell about it, somehow maintaining their sanity, power like Wolfram's is… underwhelming at best."
~I-Island Central Tower~
Kaen turned around to see wolfram standing there, covered in metal armor that looked like it was fashioned from the sheets of metal from the helicopters flooring. It quite honestly, made Kaen think of a robot welded together from scrap metal. On his head he saw the Quirk Enhancer Device, with
"So what, you've got some armor you made from the helicopter's flooring. That's not gonna save you." Kaen said. "You've weighed yourself down, traded your speed for strength. That will be your biggest downfall."
"Oh, I beg to differ." Wolfram smiled, holding up his hands, showing the repulser ports on the palms.
Kaen's eyes widened. He turned to look at Midoriya's body to see the gauntlets and boots were missing.
"You stole, Midoriya's gear… off his dead body?" Kaen growled, his eyes locked onto Wolfram, before his head was knocked to the side from Wolfram coming out of nowhere, and punching him in the face.
"Oh man, this power is unbelievable. What I could do, to bring you to your knees." Wolfram smirked, slamming his fist into the other side of Kaen's face, knocking him further to the ground, before Wolfram used his control over metal to grab Kaen by his wrists, and keep him pinned down by his knees. "An' the best part it, I will be the one to kill you, for good." Wolfram exclaimed, using his enhanced Quirk to create a sword made of scrap metal. "First, let's get rid of that pesky power source of yours." Wolfram smirked, heating the edge of the blade to extremely hot temperatures before pulling on Kaen's tail, and cutting it off at the base of his spine.
"AAAAHHHHHH." Kaen shouted in pain. 'He cauterized it. One-for-All must have told him how to cancel out my regeneration Quirk. With how hot the metal was when he sliced my tail, the cells won't be able to regenerate. I'm permanently without my tail now.'
"There now. Since you've lost your power, I'm thinking I'll have a little fun before I kill you and take Professor Shield back. Just a little way to make you pay for what you've done be freeing the mighty dragon contained within the Dragon Balls." Wolfram smirked, walking over to Midoriya.
"No. Stay away from Midoriya." Kaen cried to him.
"I'm afraid that's not possible. If a body is left undealt with, it'll start to rot, and decay." Wolfram said, with a sickening smugness in his voice. "Then it'll attract rodents, and the property value of the house will go down greatly, pretty soon the entire neighborhood will follow, and it will all be just a mess."
"I said, DON'T GO NEAR HIM." Kaen shouted, a red aura enveloping him. "KAIOKEN-X2."
Kaen broke free of the restraints holding him and flew towards Wolfram, slamming his shoulder into the villain's stomach, before grabbing the back of his head, and slamming it into his knee as he brought it up.
Wolfram stepped back as the Kaioken energy left Kaen's body, and he was powered down now. Not missing his chance, Wolfram restrained Kaen again, this time, getting his neck restrained as well.
'Damn it, I thought two Senzu Beans would have been enough for me to use Kaioken for a little longer. I might have mastered it, but my body isn't able to handle back to back uses of it like Goku. Damn it, why do I need a thirty minute rest between each use of Kaioken no matter how short it is?' Kaen mentally cursed.
"Now if you're done with trying to get me from having my fun, I suggest you say your final goodbyes." Wolfram growled, reaching into his armor, and pulling out a small pouch with slices of strangely dark glowing fruit. "I'd share some of my Fruit from the Tree of Might with you, but Turles was very strict about me not sharing any of it." Wolfram said, eating a couple slices. "Though I must admit, the sour taste is almost like sour candy."
The dark aura Kaen could see around Wolfram increased after he ate the two slices of fruit, and with blinding speed, Wolfram twisted around, and used the stolen repulser technology to destroy Midoriya's body, blowing it to smithereens.
Kaen's eyes widened in horror as the dust cleared, revealing the only thing remaining of Midoriya's presence there, was a blood stain that had dried from the heat of the repulser blast.
Kaen's anger rose, and the ground beneath him began to tremble as he directed all his hatred towards Wolfram. The rubble around them began to rise into the air, causing Wolfram to look around in confusion, before his eyes landed on Kaen.
The Saiyan's hair was waving about as the milky white flaming aura enveloped him, before it shot into the air, defying gravity as he let out a battle cry.
"You monster." Kaen growled. "First you kill my cousin… then my best friend… and now you defiled his body, not once, but twice by stealing his gear and destroying it. YOU'LL PAY." Kaen shouted.
Within his inner world, Kaen was standing across from Oozaru, who stood in his path to the first Torri Gate.
"Out of my way Oozaru, I'm opening that gate." Kaen growled.
"I feel the same hatred you feel for Wolfram. But you are not yet ready for this power." Oozaru glared. "Remember my warning, if you attempt to open any of these gates while you are not ready, you will lose access to them, forever."
Kaen growled, before he lunged forward, past the fire pit, and Oozaru himself, slamming his shoulder into the Torri Gate, letting a loud snap resonate through the air. Oozaru was just standing there, in complete and utter shock.
In reality, Kaen's restraints shattered as he let out his mightiest battle cry, as his hair turned golden blonde, and his eyes turned sky blue, glaring at Wolfram.
"Wolfram." Kaen growled. It ends here, and now."
Within the blink of an eye, Kaen was in front of Wolfram slammed his fist into the villain's chest, sending him a few feet off the ground, before he just as quickly changed attacks, and axe kicked him in the shoulder sending him back to the ground, face first.
'How is this possible? Did he charge himself up with one of his stored up Quirks? No, no Quirk could power him up this much.' Wolfram thought as he quickly got up and jumped away. "You want to die so badly? Then let me oblige you and grant your request." Wolfram shouted, downing the rest of the fruit in his snack bag. Kaen's brow raised as Wolfram's power increased, but he could also feel something ebbing away. "This is what happens, when you defy me."
(Cue Music… Back from the dead: Skillet)
Wolfram took to the skies, using the repulsers, before Kaen soon followed. The instant that the Saiyan caught up with the villain, fists began to fly.
Wolfram dodged the Super Saiyan's attacks as he kept leading him away from the tower. Without missing a beat, Wolfram countered Kaen's punches, but his strength was lacking, and each time their fists collided, Kaen had caused some internal damage to his bones and muscles, so with nothing left to lose, he decided to use the Quirk that the man who leant him Adam, gave him.
Wolfram's muscles started to increase in size, as the skin that was visible on him, started to turn red as his body's internal temperature increased.
"Say good night you damned monkey." Wolfram cried, slamming his fists, clutched together, down on Kaen's head sending him falling down below.
Kaen glared at Wolfram as he righted his position, and flew straight for him, before ramming into Wolfram's torso, holding his arms tightly around his waist before changing angles and flying towards the ground, coming upon it faster and faster.
Wolfram, out of desperation, slammed his fists into Kaen's back, forcing the Saiyan to change course, and flew straight into the central tower, breaking through the walls into the banquet hall where the hostages were being held.
Carmine used herself to shield Melissa's body from the dust and other debri that was flying at them, while still trying to untie All Might.
"WOLFRAM." Kaen shouted, his expulsion of energy causing the cloud of dust to clear instantly giving the gathered heroes all a view of the newly resurrected hero. Carmine was most shocked at what she was seeing. Not only was the power of One-for-All coursing through him, his hair was blonde and his eyes were blue.
"No way, could he really be a… a Super Saiyan?" Carmine questioned in awe.
Kaen went charging at Wolfram, slamming his fists into the villain's face. But the villain wasn't going to give up so easily, as he was dodging as many of the attacks as he could, before slamming Kaen with a head-butt, giving him an opportunity to counter strike.
Kaen moved to the side, and caught Wolfram's fist, before pulling the metal covered villain towards him and slamming their foreheads together. With Wolfram disoriented, Kaen slung his leg forward before the strength of the kick sent his opponent flying through the ceiling.
Catching up to the villain, after slamming him through at least fifty floors, Kaen slammed a One-for-All empowered fist into Wolfram's face, sending the villain flying and changing trajectory instantly, before he crashed out the side of the building. Following him close behind, Kaen was behind Wolfram in an instant, using an upwards kick to send him flying high above the peak of the building. Without even showing a blur, Kaen was above the villain, and backhanded Wolfram with his closed fist, sending the metallic man down to the landing platform, where the whole fight began.
Wolfram picked himself up, and to Kaen's surprise, he was breathing heavily as Kaen could sense the villain's power was diminishing greatly. Even his second Quirk that he had been using was diminishing.
"Now I see what's ebbing away from you. Your power has increased after eating the fruit, but it's burning away your life energy. If we keep fighting, you're going to die." Kaen said. "Surrender Wolfram, and I can heal you."
"Like I'd really fall for that." Wolfram smirked, before he was slammed in the chest by Kaen's knee, and thrown over his shoulder.
Wolfram quickly caught himself in mid throw, twisting over Kaen's head, and releasing himself from his grip, before flying up into the air, and using Midoriya's repulsers, created an energy attack, one that could destroy the entire tower if it hit.
Kaen swiveled one leg back, and put his hands together at his side, preparing a counter attack.
"PREPARE TO DIE YOU DAMNED MONKEY." Wolfram shouted throwing the energy blast.
"Ka-me-ha-me-HAAAAA." Kaen cried out, sending off his own attack that neutralized Wolfram's, and sent the villain flying higher into the air, as his body was enveloped in the Kamehameha Wave, and vanished, as it turned his body to ash.
(End Song…)
With the battle done and over with, Kaen turned away from Wolfram, and made his way to where he has left David Shield. After picking up the professor, Kaen made his way down to the second level, with the bound and injured professor in hand. Setting him down Kaen walked towards the stage, where All Might, Carmine, and Melissa's body were.
"Hey dad, sorry I'm late for the party." Kaen smiled, choking back tears.
"Think nothing of it my body. I see you copied my hair color." All Might laughed.
"What this? Nah, it's only temporary." Kaen smiled, his Super Saiyan form dying down, before kneeling and looking at Melissa. "Don't worry Melissa, I'll bring you back, I promise." Kaen said. "Wrath…"
The small three headed dragon appeared from the side of the stage, where Carmine left the case of the dead Dragon Balls, and hopped onto his shoulder.
"Your wish is my command." Wrath's middle head said. "You have five remaining wishes."
"I wish for everyone Wolfram killed tonight, to be brought back, including Midoriya." Kaen said. "His body was destroyed, you think you can handle that?"
"I can." Wrath's right head exclaimed, before all three pairs of eyes glowed red.
Minutes later, Melissa's bullet wound in her head began to seal itself, and heal up, before she opened her eyes with the wound completely gone.
"I'm alive?" Melissa asked, slowly sitting up.
"Yes you are." Kaen smiled.
Melissa looked to Kaen and smiled with tears in her eyes, before pulling him in for a hug.
"Kaen, you're alive. I'm so happy, I thought I'd never see you again cousin." Melissa cried happily hugging him tightly.
"I'm happy to see you again to Melissa." Kaen smiled, returning the hug.
"Does someone wanna tell me how I'm still alive, and how I got here?"
Kaen looked behind, to see Midoriya, his body fully restored, but his repulsers and gauntlets were missing.
"I wished you back with one of the wishes I had." Kaen smiled.
"Well, that's good at least. But what happened to my gear?" Midoriya asked.
"Wolfram snagged them before I could take him down, and he ate this weird fruit to." Kaen said. "Anyways. Melissa, I think you have a job to do."
"Right." Melissa said firmly, standing up as the sun started shining through the gaping hole in the building. "Take me up to the control room."
~The following Day, Island Beach~
"Man, last night was such a rush." Mina sighed leaning into Kaen's body as he was reading a book.
It took Mina, Jiro, Kami, and King Kai, both deities talking telepathically to Kaen, to convince him to take the rest of the week off and enjoy the island before going to fulfill his end of the promise made to Kami. Kaen finally conceded when Mina threatened to stop taking birth control on their nights of fun. Not wanting to experience parenthood just yet, Kaen agreed to take the rest of the I-Island vacation to its fullest advantage.
After the incident with Wolfram, Kaen had been approached by the I-Island directors and was given quite the substantial check for saving their island. Kaen at first thought they'd forgotten to put a comma in a couple places. Instead of worrying about it, Kaen just decided to put the money towards helping rebuild the damage that had been done to I-Island's Central Tower.
Another perk to being given the gratitude of the entire island, the directors of it, has closed off the beach area from everyone except for Kaen and his friends. This gave him the opportunity to meet Nazuna, and congratulate Midoriya on becoming a father. But needless to say, the girls of both the Midoriya and Kaen Harems, treated it like a nude beach, but not wanting to go full on birthday suits, they settled with only going topless.
"What you reading?" Jiro asked, coming up to them, moving some hair behind her ear.
"I found this book in David's lab when his stuff was being cleared out. It's actually about the lost city of Atlantis. Melissa said it was an old obsession of his from before he had the responsibilities of raising her." Kaen said before a blush came to his face and he shut his eyes. "Speaking of whom… Melissa could you please put a top on?" Kaen asked, as Melissa was hugging Midoriya.
"Sorry, but I'm enjoying my freedom, and I like being part of Midoriya's Harem." Melissa smiled. "We even sealed the deal last night."
"Midoriya, please tell me my cousin is not cooking a bun in her oven." Kaen grumbled.
"I promise you, I took the necessary precautions this time to prevent a pregnancy from happening." Midoriya said.
"Fine." Kaen grumbled looking back at his book as Carmine came up from behind him, and looked at the page he was reading. "Can you make out any of this stuff?"
"No I don't think I… Wait… look right there." Melissa said, tapping a picture with her finger. "That Rune right there."
"The Ancient Greek Rune?" Kaen asked.
"That's not Greek." Carmine said, taking the book and flipping through the pages to the front of the book, while sitting at the picnic table. "That's the language of the Saiyan's Highest Warrior Class."
"What do you mean?" Mina asked.
"I'm needing a pen and a pad of paper." Carmine said.
Momo acted on that and created them from the excess mass she still had from the Senzu Beans she ate during the I-Island Tower incident. She'd been making items non-stop, and was just barely getting back to her normal figure.
Carmine searched through the book, writing down any of the Saiyan language she saw with intense vigor until she got to the end of the books.
"Finished." Carmine said, going over her list of notes.
"So what do they say?" Mina asked.
"Well, as far as I can tell, they're coordinates for a specific location of longitude and latitude, and a riddle of some kind." Carmine explained. "Melissa, do you think I could get a world map?" Carmine asked. "The more detailed, the better."
Melissa nodded and looked through her backpack she brought with her, and managed to find a world map she had gotten for her world geography class. Bringing it over to Carmine, the Saiyan and Scientist, began looking over the map, mapping out where the coordinates lead.
"All right… as far as I can tell, the coordinates lead to somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, not too far from our current location actually." Carmine said.
"But Atlantis wasn't in the Pacific Ocean, it was in the Atlantic Ocean." Kaen said. "Why would the coordinates lead somewhere completely different to the two oceans?"
"There's only one way to find out, isn't there?" Melissa asked with a smile. "Anyone up for some deep sea diving?"
~Sometime Later~
"No fair, how come Carmine, Jiro, and Mina get to go with you, but I have to stay behind?" Melissa asked.
"For one, Carmine is the only one here, who fluently speaks and reads the Saiyan language. I'm still getting the hang of it." Kaen said. "For another, Mina's acid could really come in handy if we find something that needs to be opened, and Jiro's jacks will be able to listen in and detect any sort of trouble we might run into down there."
"Then why are you going?" Melissa asked.
"Me? I'm the muscle. Also, if anyone out of this group deserves to learn more about their Saiyan Heritage, it's me." Kaen said.
"He's got a point Melissa." Midoriya said. "Besides, we're going to see everything with the cameras they're wearing."
"True. We'll be able to stay in contact with them as well." Melissa sighed.
"Great, glad we're in agreement." Kaen said, using Michiru's Animal Kingdom Quirk, to give himself gills and gain a more aerodynamic shape. "Let's get going you three."
The four divers, the girls now wearing bikini tops and scuba gear, wadded their way deeper into the water, until they dove under the surface, with Kaen leading the way, wearing a wristwatch that directed them to the location the coordinates would be.
As they approached, Kaen was getting a strange sense of familiarity like he had been down in this part of the ocean before. Shaking the thoughts out of his mind, Kaen swam a bit faster, with the girls following him closely, for another ten minutes, before they stopped when they reached something that none of them had been expecting to find at the bottom of the ocean floor.
"Are you guys seeing this?" Mina asked her eyes wide.
"I'm seeing it, but I'm having a hard time believing it." Midoriya's voice echoed through the radio.
In front of the four divers, stood the large, mythical underwater City of Atlantis. It wasn't even damaged in the slightest. Completely intact. All the buildings and structures that made up the island, were in perfect preservation.
"The lost city of Atlantis is real." Jiro said.
"Given the clue that were left to find it, I doubt it's even an earth made civilization." Carmine said. "It's possible, the founder of the City of Atlantis, was a Saiyan who came to earth over four thousand years ago."
"Could be. C'mon, let's get a closer look everyone." Kaen said.
"Collect some samples or artifacts for me if you can." Melissa said, through the radio.
"I can't make any promises." Kaen stated.
When they got closer, they had to stop again as Kaen noticed something.
"The entire city… it's covered by some sort of giant clear dome like structure." Carmine said.
"So how do we get in?" Jiro asked.
"I could just use my acid to melt a hole in the dome." Mina suggested.
"Bad idea. Whoever put the dome up, and left the clues obviously intended for the city to stay intact and to be a safe haven for Saiyans, should any come to earth." Kaen exclaimed.
"So how do we get in then?" Mina inquired.
"I think that might indicate how we get in." Carmine said, pointing down the dome and towards an opening door like entrance.
"It looks like an airlock of some kind." Kaen stated.
"You think the city was built on top of a Saiyan Space Ship?" Mina asked.
"It's possible. Before we used pods, Saiyans traveled through the cosmos in large groups, sometimes colonizing other planets with our own species before the pure blood died out and was diluted through generations of mixed breeding." Carmine said. "But Saiyans have never used a ship big enough to hold a city on top of it."
"We'll figure that out later." Kaen said. "Right now we need to focus and get inside before your oxygen tanks run out, and I time out with my transformation."
"Kaen's right. Let's go." Jiro exclaimed, before they all began swimming for the airlock.
Looking over the door, Kaen searched for a switch, or a keypad, or something that could be used to open it. When he couldn't find anything, he managed to spot a corral encrusted pad on the side. Removing the corrals, Kaen saw that it was a hand recognition scanner pad.
"Incredible. Ancient Saiyan/Greek technology that far surpasses that of technology from the modern day." Midoriya said.
"Does it still work?" Mina asked.
"It had better." Jiro said, looking at the gauge on her tank. "I'm running on fumes here."
"Why didn't you tell me your tank was running low when it started?" Kaen asked turning to her.
"I saw how determined you were to try and find more of your heritage, and…"
"Jiro, finding my heritage isn't as important to me, as keeping my friends safe and alive." Kaen said, before putting his hand on the scanner. After a second, the door to the airlock opened, pulling them in, before shutting off, and draining of the water that followed them, filling with air. Expelling the water from his lungs, Kaen returned to normal, just in time for the other door to the airlock opened up.
"Looks like we're going exploring through the lost city." Mina said.
"Good thing I brought my waterproof camera." Jiro stated as they went through the open airlock door.
Kaen and the girls went traveling through the streets of the ancient civilization, amazed at how well preserved everything looked and was structured.
"These homes do look like they came from the Ancient Greek Era, but I don't understand how someone could have preserved them so well." Mina said, as Jiro snapped some pics.
"It looks to me from what I can tell through the camera, that there might be some sort of grounds keeper, or some androids to maintain the structures." Melissa said.
"Do you really think someone could be living here?" Jiro asked.
"I highly doubt it. This place has been lost to human civilization for over four thousand years. If anything it's the latter of Melissa's theory." Carmine stated. "Besides, remember what it took to find this place, deciphering the Saiyan Warrior's language."
"If this place has been here all this time, how come it hasn't been discovered by radars or sonars yet?" Jiro asked, after snapping a few more pics.
"That's easier to explain actually." Carmine said. "Most likely this entire city structure was created, using Saiyan technology. Our kind might not have been as smart as the Tuffles, but that didn't stop us from developing technology that could nullify tracking systems and technology like sonars and radars."
"Who were the Tuffles?" Mina asked.
"They were a race of aliens that, inhabited half of Planet Vegeta, while the Saiyans inhabited the other half." Carmine explained. "Unfortunately, the Saiyans of that era, sought to eradicate the Tuffle Race, and committed mass Genocide, with only a few Tuffles escaping to freedom from our ancestor's wrath."
"That sounds rather unnecessary." Jiro stated.
"It was." Kaen said. "When Athena told me about it, I was appalled at the thought of ever being a part of something like that."
"Well duh, that's because you're one of the good ones." Mina smiled.
"C'mon, let's head to the temple at the top of the slope, I think it might hold some answers for us." Carmine said.
Kaen nodded and went running towards the temple, with the others following closely behind. When they reached the temple doors, Kaen pushed hard on them, forcing the large stone doors to slowly swing open. Or at least that was the plan, but it wouldn't budge open.
"C'mon why won't the doors open?" Kaen questioned.
"I think the doors will only unlock when a certain phrase is spoken." Carmine said. "This must be where the riddle from earlier comes in. Try and see if you can find a voice activated system or speaker of some kind."
Kaen sighed, before moving his hands along the surface of the doors. After a couple minutes of searching, he found a small key hole in the center connected to both the doors, but the key hole was shaped differently, and it didn't look like any language Kaen, Mina, or Jiro had seen before.
"It's another Saiyan Rune." Carmine stated. "The word is… God."
"Weird, but what does the riddle say?" Jiro asked.
"Oh, right the riddle." Carmine said, pulling out a plastic bag with a folded up piece of paper inside it. Pulling out the paper, Carmine began to read off the riddle. "More precious than gold, but cannot be bought. Can never be sold, but it's earned if it's sought. Though it be broken, it can still be mended. At birth it can't start, nor by death, is it ended." Carmine read off the riddle. "That's the whole riddle."
"More precious than gold? Diamonds?" Momo asked.
"No diamonds can be sold and bought." Midoriya said.
"Cannot be bought, nor sold… Though it be broken, it can still be mended, but it can't be ended at death… I got it." Kaen snapped his fingers. "The answer is obvious. The one thing, that is more precious than gold, can't be bought or sold, can be mended if broken, can't start at birth, but also can't end in death. The answer is Friendship."
The rune on the door shined a bright emerald green, alerting them that the answer was correct, before they started to move on their own, and opened up for the four of them. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Kaen and the gang went into the temple, and it was quite the surprising view.
Inside the temple, it looked so pristine and clean, but the thing that was most surprising about it, was how it looked like a Spartan training center blended with a martial arts dojo, with all the training equipment in the building. In the center of the temple, someone sat on their knees on a pillow, wearing a pair of white Gi pants with a red sash tied around his waist, and a pair of martial arts slippers. His body looked sculpted like it was chiseled from a slab of Greek marble, but the muscles on his back, looked like the face of a demon. His hair was a brilliant crimson red, and the aura he resonated, gave Kaen chills as he couldn't sense the stranger's power level.
"Kaen, you unable to sense his power either? I know I'm still new to that technique, but still, I should be able to sense the faintest bit of power coming from him." Carmine stated.
"Yeah, I'm not sensing his power level either." Kaen said.
"The reason, you are unable to sense my power, is because mortals, are not able to sense the energy resonating from a deity." The man said, standing up and turning to them. "My, my. Look how much you've grown since the last time I saw you, young man."
"Do… do I know you?" Kaen asked.
"Of course you don't remember me. How could you when the first time we met, you were barely conscious." The man smiled, walking up to him, and holding out his hand to Kaen. Reciprocating the gesture, Kaen held his hand out below the man's, and a second later, he dropped an arrow head pendent in the palm of his hand, one that Kaen recognized. "This is my lucky pendent. I thought I lost this during a cruise I took with Athena and the Bakugo, and Midoriya family when I was…"
"Only seven years old." The man smiled. "I had sensed your power level, and your energy, and knew from that, you were a Saiyan. At first I was concerned you were sent here to conquer the planet, however my fears were proven wrong, when I saw how you were interacting with your guardians."
"Mitsuki was mine and Athena's Nanny. She raised us alongside her son Katsuki, like the three of us were all siblings. She gave this to me as a congratulations gift when I unlocked my power." Kaen said. "I lost it three years later."
"But… how does he have it?" Mina asked.
"Do you remember, young Saiyan, the situation you went through during your vacation?" The stranger asked.
"I remember, Katsuki pulling my tail, and causing me lose all my power. He thought it'd be funny to throw me overboard when swinging me by my tail. I couldn't swim at the time, and when I hit the water, I was still powerless from when my tail was pulled." Kaen exclaimed. "After that… I remember drowning, and before I knew it I was regaining consciousness, and found myself under water. I was in someone's arms, someone who was strong, and saved my life. I only caught a glimpse of him but…"
"You thought it was nothing more than a dream, and never considered it might have been real, did you?" The man asked. "You lost your pendent when you landed in the water, and I found it after I returned you to the ship, after bringing you here for medical treatment of course."
"Who are you?" Kaen asked.
"My name is Atlas. But, my given Saiyan name, is one I have forgotten long ago." Atlas said. "It has been over five thousand years since I became what you see before you."
"What are you exactly?" Carmine asked.
"My dear, that is quite simple." Atlas smiled. "I am, a Super Saiyan God."
A/N: Heyo, hope you enjoyed the chapter. Just thought I'd let you know, that I'll be experimenting with different Spinoffs of Saiyan Heroes of U.A, like I did with Mama Yang, and seeing which one I feel sticks. See you in the next chapter.
