Hey! I know you all hate me and my friend after that cliffhanger. Your reviews told me that LOL, every single one mentioned how evil we are. and darn right you are..evil is my speciality HAHA! But be glad I didn't ditch the story there, that would have been a big fat OOF. And also remember..I can NEVER be as evil as Rick Riordan, no matter how hard i try. i still haven't forgiven that guy for the ending of the mark of athena it made me scream louder than when i was watching chat blanc and thats saying something. ;)

Chapter 24: Dark Cupid

The end of the world started when Ladynoir happened.

Marinette was dead.

Adrien was also dead.

On the other hand, the rest of the class was cheering, screaming, and jumping in joy.

When Adrien finally realized what had gone down, his voice suddenly returned to him. It was impossible to be feeling so many emotions at once, but hey- here he was. He had half the mind to scream louder than he'd ever screamed, and the other half to smirk at marinette, and some of his mind desperately wanted to kiss her. He settled for the first one.

Without even knowing how loud he was screaming, he exploded. Because it's not everyday that you find out the love of your life kissed you willingly and "forgot" to tell you about it.

"YOU KISSED ME? WE KISSED? WE KISSED? WE KISSED AS LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR? YOU. ACTUALLY. KISSED. ME! AAAAHH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! ALL THESE MONTHS I COULD HAVE KNOWN THAT WE ACTUALLY KISSED! MARINETTE HOW COME YOU NEVER TOLD ME? YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME RIGHT AFTER, WHY WHY WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME! I CAN DIE HAPPILY!" Adrien finished, out of breath.

Marinette yelped and stumbled back. She was not expecting that.

Adrien suddenly realized that the entire theater had gone quiet. He blushed red with embarrassment. "Ooops..sorry guys!"

They stayed quiet for a few seconds then burst into roaring laughter, making Marinette go even more red and grumble something under her breath about "I didn't kiss you.."

"But you DID!" Adrien protested, grinning so widely that it made him look like a-Ahh, what would Marinette say? Oh, right! A DORKASAURUS! He knew that he looked like an idiot just sitting there smiling a big, goofy, dorky smile but he couldn't care less.

"You look like a dorkasaurus right now," she grumbled, ignoring what he'd just said.

"I know," Adrien admitted. "I can't help it."

"Can we just please resume the episode!" said Marinette, grabbing the remote.

Adrien snatched it from her and stared at her. "Umm, no! This conversation is NOT over."

"Can it please be over?" she begged.

"No, sorry girl!" Alya smirked. "First of all, I'm your best friend. And you never told me that you kissed someone?"

Marinette turned pink. "I was NOT kissing him, I was saving him!" she yelled in her defense. The rest of her classmates smiled and exchanged knowing looks.

"Stop looking at each other like that!" she fumed.

Adrien laughed. She was so cute when she was mad.

"Ugh, stop laughing!" she shouted, causing everyone to laugh harder and louder.

"OH COME ON!" she screamed, her cheeks getting redder by the minute.

Adrien leaned his head on her shoulder and whispered in her ear, smiling. "I will never forget this. I'll remind you that you kissed me willingly-every single day!"

Marinette shoved him away and groaned. "Please don't.."

"This is what you get for not telling me! I could have lived my life peacefully knowing that we kissed, but nooo, you just "accidentally forgot" to tell me!" Adrien rolled his eyes.

"Ohh, trust me it was NOT an accident! You wouldn't have let me live it down if I'd told you," Marinette scoffed, defending herself.

"Still, you kissed me-"

"UGH! Stop saying that!" Marinette yelled in frustration, making Adrien want to burst into laughter at how cute she looked at the moment. "I. was. NOT. kissing you! I was SAVING you!"

Much to her displeasure, her entire class burst out laughing again. Even her teacher looked like she was trying hard not to laugh.

"Say what you want, dude!" Nino wiped a tear from his eye.

"But the fact will always remain that you kissed me, even if it was to save me," Adrien finished.

Mariette let out the longest groan the universe had seen and buried her head in her hands and mumbled, "This is the worst day ever.."

"Darn right it is!" Adrien laughed. "The best day for me though!"

"I'm glad," Marinette gritted her teeth. "Now someone give me the remote before Abby appears out of nowhere-"

Abby appeared out of nowhere.

"HI GUYS!" she cheered, a smile too big for her face on her face. "Sooooo, I thought I'd just..you know, check in on you guys!"

Marinette glared at her and she winked back. Adrien grinned at Abby and gave her a thumbs up before Marinette scowled and slapped his hand down.

She batted her eyelashes innocently. "So..what part were you watching? Let me guess.."

By the way she snickered, Marinette could tell what was coming next. She had never felt more embarrassed in her life. Was this torture not enough? Did Abby really have to come and add on to it. Boy, she was starting to hate this girl..

"The part where Marinette..Ah, what should I say? I know! The part where Marinette saves Adrien," she said innocently. Marinette had half the urge to wipe that smirk clean off her face. And she decided that's what she was going to do.

"Tikki, spots-" she yelled.

"NOT A CHANCE!" Tikki scowled, interrupting her.

"Hey, umm, maybe we should just resume the episode like Marinette said," Miss Bustier cleared her throat, determinedly not saying anything about what had just happened. Marinette could feel her cheeks growing hot.

Great. Just great. Even her TEACHER had seen it! This. Was. A. Disaster.

"We'll toture this poor helpless girl some other time," Chloe smirked, clearly enjoying everything. Marinette was surprised that she wasn't unhappy that she'd kissed Adrien-

Oh god. Suddenly, it hit her. That day, she'd kissed Adrien Agreste. Adrien God Darned Agreste!

AND SHE HADN'T EVEN KNOWN! I would have freaked out if I found out before this..she admitted to herself.

"This conversation is NOT over though," Adrien laughed, earning some agreeing nods and a cute scowl from Marinette. He smiled and resumed the episode.

Cat Noir: Huh? (He gasps) What am I doing here? (He doesn't remember what happened to him.)

Ladybug fiercely grabs him and twists behind her head using both her arms.

The theater ringed with laughter.

"How do you even do that to a person?" Alya snickered.

"I was so confused," Adrien laughed.

Ladybug: No time! The quiver pin, Cat Noir! Now! (She throws Cat Noir but he screams and he lands on top of Dark Cupid and she tells Cat Noir to take the villain's quiver pin from him.)

"You just..You just THREW HIM!" Alix laughed so hard that she was clutching her stomach.

Marinette grinned. "Yes, I did!"

Adrien scowled. "And I do not appreciate it!"

"Ugh, that's what you get for making me kiss you," she rolled her eyes.

"Excuse me, but that was your own choice!" Adrien defended. "But you have to admit that you liked the experience a little-"

"NOT THIS AGAIN!" she yelled as a warning, earning a laugh from him.

Ladybug: Grab it! Grab the pin!

"I love how you just woke up from your daze but you already know what to do..like you're not even a bit confused!" Alya told Adrien.

Adrien shook his head. "Oh, no! I was SO confused. She was just yelling at me to grab the pin, so I just did..but I didn't even understand what was going on!"

Marinette laughed. "Which is why it was so funny."

Dark Cupid: No!

Cat Noir: Sorry, need that. (Cat Noir destroys the sash with Cataclysm) Happy Valentine's Day! (Cat Noir tells Dark Cupid, Happy Valentine's Day while he throws the quiver pin to Ladybug)

Kim snorted. "That's like the most pleasant way to defeat a supervillain. So chill, I love it!"

Ladybug: Awww, you shouldn't have... (she drops the quiver pin) Whoops!

"Whoops" HAHA!" Alya cracked up

Ladybug: (she stomps on the pin to release the akuma) No more evil-doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize! (she catches the akuma with her yo-yo) Gotcha! (She releases the akuma to turn it back to a normal butterfly) Bye bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug! (she throws the Lucky Charm into the air and its energy restoring everything back to normal)

"Do you say that everytime?" Chloe smirked.

Marinette rolled her eyes. "Yes."

"Why?" she asked.

"Because.." Marinette started. "Actually, I have no idea," she admitted. "Guess it's just a habit these days" she replied

Alya: (she is about to cut a picture of her and Marinette in half) What the heck am I doing?

Alya breathed a sigh of relief. "Good timing, girl.."

"I know right!" Marinette exclaimed.

Chloé: (to Sabrina) What the heck are you doing?!

Sabrina: (she is scribbling on Adrien's portrait and drawing a beard) I have no idea!

Marinette burst out in laughter, and so did everyone else.

Adrien smiled. "I guess I don't look that bad with a mustache."

"I prefer how you look now," laughed Marinette.

Kim: (he transforms back to his normal self) Huh?

Ladybug & Cat Noir: Pound it!

"That pound it thing is a habit too i'm guessing" Mylene guessed

"Yup, i guess it is then" Adrien declared

Ladybug: (her Miraculous beeps) Oops!

Cat Noir: Wait, Ladybug! I gotta tell you something.

Alya laughed. "About time!"

Ladybug: Look, the kiss... I had to break the spell, or…

"Nice way to cover up that you kissed me!" Adrien teased.

"I WAS BREAKING THE SPELL!" she corrected him for what seemed like the millionth time.

Cat Noir: Kiss? What kiss? No, I just wanted to say... (his Miraculous also beeps)

"So that's what you were talking about!" exclaimed Adrien.

Ladybug: Look out, Cat Noir, your ring is flashing!

Everyone groaned.

"Seriously, you just HAD to interrupt him right before he confessed to you!" growled Alya in frustration.

Cat Noir: Uhh... yours too!

"Uhuh, thank you detransformation earrings!" Marinette giggled

Ladybug: (she laughs) We're about to turn into pumpkins, and personally, I'd rather not see that. (Both superheroes run away opposite directions)

"I wouldn't care to see that as long as you just let him confess to you!" exclaimed Nino.

Hawk Moth: Grrr... blasted Ladybug! Blasted Valentine's Day! (his window closes)

Marinette mimicked his voice. "Blasted Hawkmoth!"

The class erupted into fits of silent giggles.

Scene: The Place des Vosges. The postman arrives, and opens the mailbox, full of letters.

Tikki: Hey, there's your chance to get your card back!

Alya glared at Tikki. "Really?"

Tikki shrugged sheepishly. "Sorry.."

Marinette: That was before...

Tikki: Before what? Tell me!

"Tell me! TELL ME!" Alya jumped up and down in her seat, giddy with excitement.

Marinette: I realized that even with all this hate everywhere, love still wins. But if I wanna win over Adrien, he needs to know the truth about how I feel.

"Awww, that's such an amazing line Marinette!" Rose bubbled.

Marinette smiled. "I needed to tell him someday..maybe that just wasn't the day, though."

Tikki: Ah! This is a big day!

"Big day indeed" Adrien smiled

Scene: Adrien's room. Plagg is talking about Cat Noir being rude to Ladybug.

Plagg: Hahaha! Can you believe all the horrible thoughtless things you said to Ladybug? (he eats his Camembert happily)

"Why do you sound so happy?" asked Marinette, irritated.

"Because," said Plagg happily. "It's fun to watch humans suffer!"

Adrien shook his head. "You're unbelievable, Plagg!"

"I know I am," he snickered.

Adrien: You think it's funny, huh? (Adrien is feeling down because his alter ego was being rude to Marinette's alter ego) Ugh!

"Hey, no need to get upset," said Marinette softly. "I know that you would never say any of that stuff, of course I wasn't mad at you or anything!"

Adrien smiled. "Good to hear."

Plagg: What's the big deal? You've got so many cards from all these lady fans of yours! Take your pick! (he chooses, between all the cards and he picked a heart-shaped one by tossing the card to Adrien while he is laying facing down on the bed while he is closing his eyes)

"For once Plagg you chose correctly," Adrien rolled his eyes and smiled.

Adrien: (he sees the card and he is surprised that someone responded to his poem while he is sitting on his bed) Whoa, hold up! Someone answered my poem? But I threw it away! (he starts to read the poem)

Chloe snorted. "Not if a certain someone dug through a trash can to find it..talk about desperate."

Marinette's cheeks colored. Chloe would never let it go, would she?

Adrien: "Your hair shines like the sun, your eyes are gorgeous green, I look at you and wonder your innermost thoughts and dreams. Yes, your Valentine I will be, our love will be so true, together for eternity, my heart belongs to you." (he gasps)

"So cute! You two are SO meant for each other. I wish I had a soulmate," Rose squealed in happiness.

"Yeah, it seems too good to be true," Alya laughed.

"But it is," Adrien added, smiling. "And I'll be forever grateful."

Marinette stared at him fondly. "Me too."

"Please don't kiss," Alix gagged.

Adrien rolled his eyes. "We weren't going to!"

"I wouldn't let him if he tried," teased Marinette. "See, I don't always appreciate desperate cats."

Adrien pouted. "HEY!"

Plagg: Aww, well, anyone who writes as sickeningly sweet as you must be your soulmate.

"YES PLAGG, DARN RIGHT YOU ARE," Alya screamed.

"Plagg, dude, you are a GENIUS!" yelled Nino happily.

"I guess we are soulmates," A smile broke out on marinett's face. How lucky was she?

"I guess we are," Adrien beamed back at her.

"You two are ADORABLE!" Mylene gushed.

Adrien: It isn't signed... (A ladybug flies and lands on the card. He follows it to the window, and watches it fly away.)

Alya sighed. "Of course it's not.."

Adrien: Could it have come from Ladybug?

"You wish!" teased Marinette.

"Turns out it did come from Ladybug..what a cute coincidence!" Rose gushed.

"I know right, this is the best show ever," said Alya.

"Littke did I know that it actually came from Ladybug," sighed Adrien. "I would have freaked out!"

"You guys are so lovesick!" Plagg gagged in disgust. "I'm so tempted to sing this instead of the theme song now: "Meow-culous! Two lovesick pests! You know the rest, or we wouldn't be here"-"

"Ugh, shut up!" blushed Marinette.

Adrien smirked. "Oh yeah? You are SO on. After this episode, we are having a parody battle."

Plagg blew a raspberry. "Please. You're nothing compared to me. But fine, you're on!"

Marinette sighed and rolled her eyes. "I can't believe this is actually happening.."

Plagg: Oh, please.

Scene: Marinette's room. Marinette can't remember if she signed her letter.

Alya: What do you mean, you don't remember? Did you sign the card or not?

Marinette: I don't know! The ladybug came along while I was writing, then you were yapping about your blog, and then... It's all a blur!

"Way to cover it up," Ivan snorted.

Alya: (laughs) I don't believe you! The girl didn't even sign it! I love you and all, but sometimes you seriously bug! You know that, right?

"I seriously bug.." Marinette burst into laughter. "This gets more ironic by the second!"

(Both of them laugh as a ladybug flies outside the house.)
