Elias's POV
The days soon turn to a blur, full of dates, meetings, and annoying representatives. I sat on my desk, Fluffball sitting on my lap as I worked. I heard a knock on my door and I gently set down Fluffball and opened the door.
Emmy was standing there, and she smiled. "I just had a wonderful idea. Don't you have to meet the Elite's Parent's? Shouldn't we bring them in?" Emmy beamed. I laughed slightly. "I guess that would be something I have to do-" I said. Emmy laughed.
I did have to meet the Elite's parent at some point, and this would be a good time. I nodded. "How about on Friday, they can see the Report, and then spend the weekend-" I said.
Emmy nodded. "That sounds amazing, I'm sure the girls will all love it!" Emmy beamed. She then quickly walked off, probably to go tell the girls. I sat down and pulled out the Selection files, making a few calls.
Gwen's POV
Emmy told us 2 days ago that our family was coming today. Friday. Elias told us that we could invite whoever we wanted. So, naturally, I invited my Mom, Dad, Aunt and one Cousin. Basically, my whole family.
I stood there rocking on my feet, and most of the other girls did as well. When Sasha's dad entered first, Sasha ran up and hugged him. He laughed. I didn't see the other families just yet.
My family entered and I ran to them. They all laughed. My mom looked around the castle. "Wow, this is so pretty, your so pretty!" She exclaimed. I smiled. My dad messed up my hair slightly. I slapped his hand away, still smiling. I fixed my hair. My aunt hugged me softly, and my cousin hugged me as well.
I was beaming from ear to ear. I heard a laugh from Emmy, and looked over to see her mom and dad hugging her tightly. I looked at everyone elses family. Kate had a lot of people, even a small child, but they all seemed to be happy and friendly.
Emma's mom was there, holding her shoulder and Emma looked the happiest I've ever seen her. Kahlie's dad was there, hugging her tightly. Her siblings were running around, excited. It looked like me and Kate had the most people there, but I didn't mind, I was just happy to see my family.
Elias walked out, and everyone seemed to straighten. He went over to my family first. "Hello Gwen's family, so nice to meet you.." Elias said, and I could tell my mom was very stressed out. Elias was King, after all. "Elias, this is my mom Elisabeth, my Dad James, My aunt Jeralie and my Cousin Ben. My other cousin is still on maternity leave right now." I said.
Elias smiled. "Lovely too meet you all, There is tea and sweets in the dining room, so why don't you guys go wait in their while I talk to the other families?" He asked. I nodded, smiling. I hugged him, and then walked with my family, a stupid grin on my face.
Elias's POV
I was a nervous wreck to meet everyone's family, but Gwen's family seemed nice. Emma was next, and it was just her mom. "Carlie" her mom said, and she shook hands with me. Emma was smiling a bunch, probably just as excited to see her mom. "Lovely too meet you, there is tea and sweets in the dining room-" I started to say
Emma nodded. "I get it you have other families to see. Come on mom!" Emma said, and held her moms hand as she walked away. I smiled slightly and then went to Kahlie. Kahlie seemed a little shy, her dad was hugging her though. Her young siblings ran around, oblivious to my existence. I didn't mind though, and quickly said hello to her family.
Kate was next, and her family was almost as large as Gwen's. "This is my Sister, Brother-in-law, and my niece and nephew." She said simply. Her niece and nephew were more behaved than Kahlie's family, but they still played some sort of game. "Lovely too meet you." The sister seemed to beam, but the brother-in-law only smiled slightly.
Emmy's family was just her mom and dad, but they were talking with her lovingly. I walked up. They both smiled. "Nice to meet you, I'm Elias." I said, though they probably already knew that. They smiled. "I'm Shirley, and this is my husband Roy." The mom said, and Emmy smiled. "There is tea and sweets in the dining room, I'll be there in a moment." I said, and the mom and dad smiled and walked off, Emmy soon following.
Next was Sasha's dad, and the last person. I walked up to her and smiled. "Hello, nice to meet you." I said to the dad. The dad looked at me up and down, evaluating me it seemed. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. He then smiled and shook my hand. "I'm Augustus. Nice to meet you too, King Elias." he said formally. I cleared my throat and nodded. "There are tea's and sweets in the dining hall, I'll be there in a little bit but why don't you go enjoy them?" I asked. Augustus nodded and walked off. Sasha smiled slightly, then followed her dad.
I relaxed slightly, then thought of each family.
So he met the Elite's Family.. heheh!
