Fei woke up with a bit of a start. She looked around the room full of sleeping Karasuno boys and she smiled. She wasn't sure how she had gotten to her mat, but seeing Ennoshita across the room, and Hinata cuddled up to Kageyama next to her, she was sure things had ended well after she had fallen asleep.
Fei got to her feet and headed towards the kitchen. It was rare that she woke up so early, but she wasn't going to allow this opportunity to go to waist. She was sure the managers were already in the kitchen getting breakfast ready for the boys.
"Morning Fei." Yachi greeted cheerfully. Fei groaned and Kiyoko giggled at the girl. She handed over the coffee cup she had in her hand and patted Fei on the head.
"I'm surprised to see you up so early. Are the boys awake yet?" Kiyoko asked as Fei took a sip of the coffee and smiled.
"No, I woke up first." Fei yawned and took another sip. "Who ever made this coffee… you are a master and you and I should become friends."
Kiyoko giggled and patted Fei's head again.
"Kiyoko, you make such a great big sister." Yukie said with a sweet smile. "I made the coffee by the way."
"Should have known with Bokuto's coffee addiction." Fei said with a roll of her eyes. "But I'm actually older than Kiyoko. I'm just small."
The girls giggled and all took a sip of their coffees. Fei let out a content sigh and smiled over at Yukie. "But for real. Bokuto had better keep you close, or I'm going to swipe you away… Ok, so Akaashi had better keep you close so I don't take you away. Did you make the coffee for him last weekend?"
Yukie raised an eyebrow. "When he left Bokuto for Kuroo and Kenma to put up with… yeah. Now that I think of it… He had asked for an extra cup… wait… Are you the girl Bokuto had been going on about? Something about making out with Kuroo in Kenma's kitchen and getting busted?"
Fei instantly blushed and the cup slipped out of her hand. Kiyoko seemed to have seen it coming and quickly grabbed the cup before it could spill or fall to the ground.
"Is that what was going on between you and Noya!" Yachi squeaked. "I thought you, Noya and Asahi had a thing going."
Fei blushed again and groaned. She hid her face in her hands and Kiyoko giggled. "Noya and Asahi are seeing each other. Fei is just Noya's best friend. Don't always believe the crazy rumors those boys come up with. They also think Hinata and Kageyama are a thing."
"Actually, I'm pretty sure as of last night they are." Fei said with a knowing smirk. "I locked them in a room together and this morning they were cuddled up together."
Yachi's mouth dropped in surprise. "Wait… I thought Tsuki liked Hinata…"
Fei choked on her coffee. "Wait what! No. Tsuki and Tadashi have been together for at least a year. They don't really talk about it, but Tsuki told me when I started to question him about their friendship."
"No way! Tsuki is so mean to him though!" Yachi squeaked and Fei shook her head.
"Tsuki is just a sarcastic smart ass with the personality of asshole. He doesn't really treat any one very well. But if you watch them, you can see it in his actions. Like those stupid headphones. He isnt actually playing music when Tadashi is talking to him. He also does little subtle things. It's kind of adorable and slightly romantic."
Kaori giggled. "Akaashi is like that too."
"Wait… your seeing Akaashi!" Yachi exclaimed and Fei burst out into a fit of laughter.
"Akaashi and Bokuto are a thing." Fei said then laughed again. "Even though Akaashi will deny it till the day he dies. I'm sure even on their wedding day he will simply roll his eyes as his I dos."
Both Yukie and Kaori giggled. Yukie then shook her head. "Oh hell no. Akaashi is going to be the one to pop the question and cry like a baby on their wedding day. He's got a huge soft spot for Bokuto. And when they are around people they know, they get a bit gushy."
The girls all giggled till the boy they were talking about walked into the kitchen and raised an eyebrow at them.
"Hey, Yukie, Bokuto is awake." Akaashi said with a yawn. He looked around at the girls, feeling the small amount of tension in the room. "Did I interrupt the girl talk?"
Fei gave him a mischievous look and Akaashi groaned. "By that look, little devil, I don't want to know."
Fei snickered and Akaashi rolled his eyes. "You keep snickering like that, I'm going to help your brothers keeping you away from Kuroo. You are starting to act like him."
"Oh that's right. You sneak!" Eri said with a slight smack to Fei's arm. "You got us distracted, you never cleared up about what happened between you and Kuroo!"
Fei blushed.
"She made out with him in Kenma's kitchen and Kenma caught them." Akaashi answered for her with a mischievous smirk of his own. "Woke up all cuddled next to him when I got there. Even fed him some of her breakfast till that Libero called and things got awkward."
"Akaashi!" Fei protested as she threw herself at the boy and covered his mouth. He chuckled and pulled her hand away.
"Did I say anything that wasn't true?" Akaashi asked and Fei huffed.
"You know what… when you and Bokuto get married, I had better be sitting in the front row so I can get photos of you bawling your eyes out for blackmail later." Fei growled. She felt herself get pulled away from Akaashi and let out a small yelp. The laughter in her ear let her know exactly who had pulled her off of the boy.
"Kuroo." Fei said as she turned in his arms. He winked down at her and kissed the top of her head. Fei blushed as she heard the other girls giggling.
"Didn't expect to see you up this early." Kuroo said as he wrapped his arms tighter around her and yawned. He placed his head on her shoulder and cuddled up as close as he could to her.
All the girls let out an awe. But that didn't seem to bother Kuroo.
"If you fall asleep on me, I'm allowing you to fall to the ground." Fei teased as she ran a light hand through his hair. "Now, you want help waking up the boys? I have a little payback due to Yamamoto."
Kuroo snickered and stood up straight. He bid goodbye to the girls and Akaashi and led Fei to the Nekoma room. When they got to the room, the only one awake was Yaku. He took one look at Fei and shook his head.
"I'm not sticking around for this disaster." Yaku grabbed his clothes and quickly exited the room.
"Yaku! You big chicken." Fei called after him. She then turned her attention on Kenma. She walked up to him and sat down next to him. She poked him a few times with no response. She then jumped on him and started to trickle his sided.
"Uh! Come on. Five more minutes!" Kenma said as he some how flipped their position around. He gave her a slight glare then laid down next to her with his arm around her waist. He threw a blanket over his head and groaned. "If you are here, I'm guessing Kuroo is awake. I hate you both right now."
"I woke you first. So you have till the time I wake the rest to get up." Fei said as she ran her fingers through his hair a few times. The boy slightly moved into her touch and sighed.
Kuroo smiled down at them and rolled his eyes. "You two are way too cute for your own good."
Fei giggled and softly nudged Kenma as she noticed the boy's cheeks turning a light shade of pink. "You hear that Gamer Boy. He thinks we're cute."
"Go wake up the others before I kick you out." Kenma said with a sleepy voice. Fei giggled and got up. She then walked up to Yamamoto. She leaned down, took a deep breath and yelled into his ear.
"Wake up sleepy head!"
Yamamoto woke with a start. Fei and Kuroo burst into a fit of laughter as others around them also started to wake.
"Jesus, Kuroo, cant you control your woman! It's to early for this!" Yamamoto growled. Fei giggled even louder as Kuroo just shrugged and sent her a wink.
"I'd better go back to Karasuno. If they woke to find me missing, I'm sure they'll be sending out a man hint soon." Fei said as she kissed Kuroo on the cheek. She bent down and petted Kenma's hair. The boy sighed but didn't make any attempt to wake.
She left the room and headed down the hallway. She made it to Karasuno's door as it flew open with a worried looking Suga, Daichi and Ennoshita.
"Oh… morning." Fei said with a bright smile.
"Don't you morning us!" Suga demanded with his hands on his hips. "Do you know how worried we got to wake up to you gone!"
Fei sighed heavily. "Sorry Daddy Suga. I woke up early and went down to get coffee from Yukie. Have you had her coffee? We should kidnap her and bring her home with us."
Daichi sighed in relief. "So you didn't sneak off to Nekoma."
"Oh, no. I just left their room. Kuroo let me do a bit of payback on Yamamoto." Fei said with a bright smile. "Are Asahi and Noya awake yet?"
Ennoshita chuckled. "Noya is. He tried to wake Asahi and just got brought into a cuddle and hasn't attempted to move since. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this team has a cuddling problem. And it started when you showed up."
Fei burst into giggled. "I plead the fifth."
Fei sighed heavily as she watched Hinata and Kageyama during the last couple practice matches. The quick attack still wasn't coming together, and they still weren't talking. But there was definitely something different about the silence. It wasn't about avoiding each other. They always seemed to stand close during the breaks. This was more about understanding space. Fei wasn't completely happy about it, but at least it was better than nothing.
Fei sat in her normal corner of the gym with her newest book. Every once in a while one of the boys came to sit with her during their breaks. Most of them left her alone to her reading. Bokuto was not one of those.
"Hey, hey, hey! Little Devil what you reading there?" Bokuto asked as he sat down next to her and swiped the book away from her.
"One hundred ways to shut up annoying owl boys." Fei said as she swiped her book back. Bokuto chuckled and messed up Fei's hair.
"How rude of you. You should respect your elders." Bokuto teased.
Fei rolled her eyes. "Older by nine days…. Pretty sure that doesn't count as an elder."
Bokuto looked at the girl in surprise. "Nine days… really… Akaashi! Little devil here is only nine days younger than me! I found a birthday buddy!"
Konoha let out a protesting hey from across the court, but Bokuto ignored him. "We should have a huge birthday party!"
"Oh, I am so down for that." Fei said giving the boy a high five as multiple people groaned.
"You should join us for practice tonight." Bokuto said with a huge smile. "I heard you got some mad libero skills. Wouldn't mind testing them out on you."
Fei giggled. "If I can get away from my brothers. I'll be there. They don't exactly like leaving me unsupervised in Kuroo's presence."
Bokuto chuckled again. "Don't blame them. You two are kind of handsy."
Fei punched his arm and Bokuto chuckled again. "See ya tonight Devil child."
"Go bug Akaashi, Owl boy."
"Don't send him back here!" Akaashi growled. "I was enjoying my peace."
Later that night Fei was surprisingly able to avoid her brothers way easier than she had expected. She walked into the gym where Bokuto said he would be practicing and was surprised to see Tsuki was there as well. She didn't say anything at first as she watched the scene in front of her. Kuroo was off to one side, working with Lev on his receiving as Akaashi and Bokuto where working on Bokuto's spikes. Poor Tsuki was left to block on his own.
Fei watched Bokuto nail every spike Akaashi sent his way and Tsuki failing miserably at stopping them. So when Bokuto went to make a straight, Fei rushed in and easily received the ball. The room seemed to go silent at the realization that the ball had been received. Tsuki snickered and looked over his shoulder the short girl.
"Wondered if you were going to join or just watch like a creeper from the door." Tsuki said and Fei playfully punched his arm.
"Had to get a read of him first." Fei said with a smirk. "And I'm not Oikawa!"
Tsuki raised an eyebrow. "What does that asshole have to do with anything?"
Kuroo chuckled from his spot across the gym. "Creeper is what she called Oikawa when they met."
Tsuki clicked his tongue and glanced down at Fei. "Should have known you would start shit with the likes of him."
Fei giggled and shrugged. She then turned her attention on to Akaashi and Bokuto. "You ready for this boys?"
Bokuto snickered. "Bring it on Devil Child."
Fei couldn't deny that Bokuto was a talented Ace. She was only able to receive two out of five of his spikes. It wasn't helping that Tsuki wasn't really trying that hard to block him. Leaving most of the work up to Fei. She could feel exhaustion setting in. Tsuki seemed to notice as well as he put in a bit more effort in blocking Bokuto's spikes.
With the last one of the night, Fei stood close to Tsuki. He had a feeling he knew what was on the girls mi d and rolled his eyes. Getting ready for her attack. As Akaashi set the ball, Fei grabbed on to Tsuki's shirt to keep him from jumping. Akaashi looked a bit surprised. He didn't see Fei standing behind the tall first year.
As the ball came down and Bokuto jumped up to Spike. Fei easily climbed up Tsuki's back and blocked the ball. Hitting it hard to the ground at Akaashi's feet.
The upperclassmen looked at Tsuki and Fei in complete shock as the other two just snickered back at them.
"That is cheating!" Bokuto demanded and Fei gave Tsuki a high five as she cuddled up to his back with a yawn.
"That is using my resources." Fei said and Tsuki rolled his eyes. "Tsuki and I are calling it a night."
Fei yawned as Tsuki helped her get a bit more situated on his back. She wrapped her arms around his neck and cuddled up to him even more. Kuroo felt a low growl escape him at the sight and quickly made his way over. He went to lightly touch Fei's back and Tsuki moved out of his reach. He could already tell by the girls steady breathing that she had fallen asleep and he wasn't going to allow Kuroo to accidentally wake her up.
"What the hell?" Kuroo growled. Akaashi and Bokuto stiffened at the awkward scene in front of them. Tsuki just rolled his eyes.
"She is already sleeping." Tsuki replied calmly. "Don't wake her. I'll be heading out."
"Like hell you will." Kuroo growled. "That happens to be my girlfriend you have on your back."
Tsuki rolled his eyes again. "Listen, if any one has the right to stop Fei from sleeping on my back. It would be Tadashi. But he thinks it's cute. So if you don't mind. We are heading back to our room."
Tsuki went to turn away once again when Kuroo reached out and grabbed his arm. What he wasn't expecting was for his hand to be slapped away.
"Stop it Kuroo." Fei growled. "Let's go Tsuki."
Tsuki seemed to have a smug look on his face as Fei cuddled back into his back and he turned to walk away from the audience they had. Kuroo growled in annoyance as he watched Fei leave. He knew his jealousy was going to be an issue for Fei.
"Oh, damn…" Bokuto started and Akaashi quickly covered his mouth before he could anger the Nekoma captain.
"Maybe it's time we all call it quits." Akaashi suggested. Akaashi nodded towards the door where Kenma and a few of the other Nekoma players had come in to witness the end of the little scene. Kenma just rolled his eyes and walked away. He wasn't ready for the drama to start already. He was well aware of how jealous Kuroo could be. And we was also well aware of how clingy Fei was with the Karasuno boys. He was just hoping the drama would have waited till the end of camp.
"Where you awake the whole time?" Tsuki asked with a tad bit of amusement in his voice as they got closer to the Karasuno room. Fei shook her head into his back.
"I woke up when said something about me being his girlfriend." Fei replied with a yawn. "I'm just proud of you for claiming Tadashi. To be honest I didn't think I'd ever see the day."
"Tch." Tsuki clicked his tongue. "It went right over their heads."
"Oh but I'm still telling Tadashi! That little blush he gets is to adorable not to spill."
Tsuki didn't protest. But the little blush he got to his cheeks was enough to tell Fei that he was completely ok with her telling his boyfriend. And secretly he was hoping he was around to see the blush as well.
