Hanahaki AU. Kagome wakes up with petals in her throat. At first, she believes it to be for Inuyasha, but what she found out was that her heart had moved on a long time ago. When she realizes who these flowers are for, she doesn't know how to deal with it. Will she die at the mercy of Naraku or the flowers growing in her lungs? Her life just got way more complicated. "Then we must treat it. Now. Tell me what we must do."

"It is not that easy, Sango."

Fire flashed in her eyes, "And why not?"

Blue eyes stared into brown ones. "This is a disease of unrequited love. The only cure is if they love me back."

"Who is it? If it's Inuyasha, I'm sure he will return the feelings. He may be confused but he really has genuine feelings for you."

"It's not him."

"What?"

"I just don't feel the way I used to feel about him anymore." Kagome blinked and said quietly as if she was talking to herself, "I've moved on."
