Chapter 17-The Bunker
Jasper Monty Athena and Westley were sitting with each. "What do you think they're gonna do with the Grounder?" Jasper asks.
"I'd rather not think about it," Monty says
"Well, it's been days since Bellamy captured him. How long till his friends come looking?" Athena says. Monty Westley and Jasper put a nut in their month.
Emma was in the dropship. "Hey, Miller, Roma's parents are waiting for you on the radio," Connor tells Miller, who nods as he leaves. Emma climbs up the ladder and opens the hatch.
"Hey, we don't have a lot of time," Emma tells Lincoln. Emma closes the hatch and walks over to Lincoln. "I brought you some water," Emma tells Lincoln. Lincoln drinks the water.
"It's good, right? Sorry I haven't seen you since everything happened," Emma says to Lincoln.
"Bellamy has been keeping everybody away. Besides, my brother. Who you have become quite chatty with," Emma says to Lincoln, who chuckles. Emma takes off her jacket. "Let me clean you up, at least," Emma says.
My name is Lincoln," Lincoln tells Emma.
"Lincoln. I'm Octavia. Well, is that it? Is that all you're gonna say?" Emma asks.
"It's not safe for us to talk," Lincoln tells her.
"Well, if we shouldn't talk, then why didn't you tell me your name?" Emma asks Lincoln.
"I want you to remember me after I die," Lincoln tells her.
"You're not gonna die. Don't say that," Emma tells him.
"Emma only one way this ends," Lincoln tells her.
"My brother won't let that happen," Emma tells Lincoln, who looks at her.
"Emma, what the hell are you doing in here?" Miller asks as he came back up.
"I was about to leave. Billy had me come up here to clean him up," Emma tells Miller, who nods. Emma leaves.
With Clarke Bellamy and Murphy.
"You know, the first dropship is gonna come down soon. Pretty sure you can't avoid Jaha forever," Murphy tells Bellamy.
"I can try," Bellamy says as they arrive at the bunker.
"The depot is supposed to be around here somewhere. There's got to be a door. Maybe he'll be lenient," Clarke says to Bellamy.
"Look. I shot the man, Clarke. He's not just gonna forgive and forget. Let's just split up, cover more ground. Stay within shouting distance," Bellamy says. They nod. Murphy walks off by himself.
"Clarke Bellamy, I found the door," Murphy says. Murphy pulls the door open as they come over to him.
"Really think this place hasn't been touched since the war?" Bellamy asks.
"A girl can dream," Clarke tells him. They walk down the stairs. They see a selection as they go down the stairs.
"Hell of a place to die," Murphy says. They get to the bottom.
"So much for living down here. This place is disgusting. Damn it," Clarke says.
"Anything left down here is ruined," Murphy says.
"They must have distributed most of the supplies before the last bombs went off," Clarke says. "I found some blankets," Clarke tells the other two.
"Excited about a couple of blankets?" Murphy asks.
"Well, it's something," Clarke says.
"How about a canteen or a medkit or a decent fricking tent? Argh!" Bellamy says as he kicks a barrel over. The barrel falls, and guns fall out. "Oh my god," Bellamy says.
"What?" Clarke asks.
The Dropship
"Oh my god," Monty says. Athena looks at him.
"What?" Jasper asks.
"Earth is scary. It's amazing fresh air, trees, nuts. These taste better than usual, right? Oh, I'd like to give earth a giant hug," Monty says.
"Your acting weird," Atena tells him.
"I feel weird, but in a good way," Monty tells her.
"I'm going to pee," Jasper says. Emma was sitting with Octavia when Jasper came over.
"Octavia? Octavia, I think I'm going crazy, or the Grounders are here, or I'm going crazy, or," Jasper says.
"Ok, calm down. Just tell me what you saw," Octavia says to Jasper as Emma watches. Jasper points at the air.
"Him," Jasper says.
"Jasper, there's no one there," Emma tells him.
"He's right there! We have to run. We have to run. Why isn't anyone doing any-," Jasper was saying.
"Stop it. Shut up. Jasper, are you on something?" Octavia asks.
"I love you, and I just want you to know this. We're all gonna die soon, ok? I love you," Jasper tells Octavia. Jasper tries to eat another nut, but Octavia grabs it.
"Is this all you've eaten all day?" Octavia asks him.
"It is, but who the hell cares now?" Jasper says.
"You're totally bombed. Relax. Here, buddy. Take this," Octavia says as she hands Jasper a stick.
"It's a stick," Jasper says.
"No. This is an anti-grounder stick. So as long as you hold this and you sit right here, grounders won't be able to see you," Octavia says. Jasper sits down.
"Yeah, makes sense. I'll just stay right here," Jasper says.
Octavia looks at Emma. "Give this to Miller," Octavia tells Emma, who nods as she leaves. Emma walks into the dropship.
"Here's some food Miller," Emma says to Miller, who nods as he eats the nut.
