Hello, fellow humans. Lol. Hope you enjoy the chapter! :)

Nightpaw padded slowly into the Apprentices' den. Smokepaw was busily grooming himself and didn't notice Nightpaw. Nightpaw padded over to him and sat down. She noticed him trying to groom a spot on his back that was hard to reach. Nightpaw leaned over and groomed it for him. Nightpaw went back to her sitting position and looked at Smokepaw. He was staring at her with a shocked look on his face.

"What?" Nightpaw asked him. Then she realized that she was inivisble. She closed her eyes and snapped out of her invisibility and Smokepaw calmed down.

"I thought it was you." Smokepaw meowed and continued grooming himself. Nightpaw stood up and wound around Smokepaw, her tail flitting over his face. He shook his pelt and glared at Nightpaw.

"Don't try flirting with me." Smokepaw growled. "That will just make me want to tell Shadestar about your secret more."

"Well you wouldn't do that." Nightpaw meowed sweetly.

"Why?" Smokepaw asked.

"Because you'd feel too guilty about it." Nightpaw meowed. Nighpaw faintly heard Smokepaw mutter something to himself but Nightpaw couldn't hear what he said.

"You know what?" Smokepaw asked her.

"What?" Nightpaw asked him.

"In some ways, you're just like Crowpaw." Smokepaw said and angrily stomped out of the den. Nightpaw sat staring in shock at the entrance to the den. That's what every cat thinks about me at first. They meet Crowpaw and then they assume I'm the same. Nightpaw thought glumly.

Nightpaw padded out of the den and started walking towards the dirtplace. She was just about to walk in when she saw Smokepaw sneaking out of camp through it. Nightpaw closed her eyes and snapped into invisibility and followed him. Nightpaw snuck out of camp behind him. She followed him out into the forest and ran to catch up with him.

Smokepaw started off towards the MapleClan border. Why is he going there? Nightpaw asked herself. Then Smokepaw whipped around and Nightpaw's breath caught in her throat. He narrowed his eyes and then turned back around. Nightpaw let out a sigh of relief. She continued to follow him all the way to the MapleClan border.

Nightpaw watched Smokepaw sit down beside the MapleClan border and wait. What he waited for, Nightpaw didn't know. Nightpaw yawned a shuffled her paws.

*snap*

Smokepaw looked over in her direction and narrowed his eyes.

"You can come out now, Nightpaw." Smokepaw hissed. Nightpaw sighed and closed her eyes. She heard a popping noise and opened her eyes again. Nightpaw looked at her paws to make sure she was visible. She was.

"What are you doing here?" Smokepaw asked her.

"I could ask you the same thing." Nightpaw growled. Smokepaw padded over to her and swiped a paw at her. Nightpaw ducked. Smokepaw growled frustratingly and Nightpaw smirked.

"Awww, little Smokekit can't fight!" Nightpaw meowed and smirked at him.

"Yeah right, Crowpaw." Smokepaw hissed and leapt at Nightpaw. She closed her eyes and turned invisible. Smokepaw let out a hiss and swiped his paw in a completely different direction. Nightpaw snickered and Smokepaw glared at her. Nightpaw heard a crack and saw a branch falling down. She ducked out of the way and Smokepaw let out a hiss of frustration.

"SMOKEPAW, WHO ARE YOU FIGHTING WITH NOW?" Nightpaw jumped when she heard the booming voice. Nightpaw closed her eyes and snapped out of invisibility. Willowheart stomped out of the bushes.

"SMOKEPAW, NIGHTPAW GET BACK TO CAMP NOW!" Willowheart yowled furiously. Nightpaw and Smokepaw padded back to camp next to each other with their heads down. Willowheart stomped behind them. Nightpaw cast an apologetic glance at Smokepaw and he glared at her.

The three cats got back to camp and padded away from each other.

"Smokepaw! Nightpaw!" Ashstripe meowed. Nightpaw turned to face her mentor. "We're having another training session right now."

Nightpaw groaned inwardly and followed her mentor back out of camp. They padded over to the training clearing where the other apprentices and mentors were already waiting. Shadestar was sitting grooming himself while Crowpaw was sitting next to him.

"Willowpaw and Redpaw will go first." Shadestar meowed. Nightpaw watched the two apprentices fight each other. Redpaw won by a long shot. Willowpaw glared at Redpaw but he ignored her.

"Now Smokepaw and Littlepaw will fight." Shadestar meowed. Smokepaw reluctantly fought Littlepaw, and won. "And now Crowpaw and Nightpaw will fight."

Crowpaw shot a surprised glance at Nightpaw and she glared at him. Nightpaw padded to the center of the clearing. Crowpaw got into his battle stance, Nightpaw did too. Crowpaw sprung at Nightpaw and she effortlessly dodged him. Nightpaw could tell that he wasn't trying.

Nightpaw struck her paw against his cheek and blood spattered out. Crowpaw stared at Nightpaw in shock, hesitaing for a few moments. Nightpaw leapt on his back and started ripping fur out. Crowpaw tried to flip over, but Nightpaw pushed him to the ground. He let out a yowl of pain, but Nightpaw kept clawing him. Then she stopped and hesitated. What am I doing? She thought. Nightpaw stepped off of Crowpaw and backed away.

Nightpaw ran away from the group and back to camp. When she was out of sight, she closed her eyes and became invisible.

"Nightpaw?" Nightpaw heard a voice mew. Nightpaw opened her eyes and saw Smokepaw standing at the entrance to the Apprentices' den. "I know that you're there, wherever you are."

Nightpaw closed her eyes again and became visible. Smokepaw padded over to her and placed his tail on her shoulders.

"What happened back there?" Smokepaw asked her.

"I don't want to talk about it." Nightpaw meowed. Smokepaw shurgged and laid down beside her.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" Nightpaw asked him.

"I don't know." Smokepaw meowed. "I just feel like it's the right thing to do."

So there's that chapter. I was thinking of killing Crowpaw for a moment, but I didn't! But maybe he will die sometime…..

MWAHAHAHAHA
