Hey hey hey! It's Thursday, and I forgot to post on Tuesday, so I thought I might as well remember to do it today. (tho I'm kinda rushed tbh but welp)

Anyways, here's the chapter!

"I wonder if Iceclan moved the border in further." Firefall muttered. "They're going to get to the reef soon, so maybe they can't go any further?"

"They'll find a way." Redshadow growled.

Iceclan always does.

But when they reached the border, Redshadow was surprised to smell that the markers hadn't been moved in. In fact, they had been moved back to the original spot.

WHAT?! When did this happen?

Firefall seemed just as surprised as he was.

"Huh." Robinlight stared at the border in amazement. "Seems as if Froststar had a change of heart… ?"

"SOMEONE must have convinced him to do it." Rainfeather piped up from the back of the patrol. "These things don't just.. happen with Iceclan. Who managed to convince him though?"

"Darkpaw, go back and tell Quailstar." Robinlight ordered his apprentice, who sped back toward camp.

"Hey look, an Iceclan patrol!" Firefall called out.

Maybe they can tell us what the heck happened.

"Hi." Robinlight dipped his head to the patrol as they padded up to the border as well.

"Um, hi." Redshadow recognized the brown-spotted she-cat he had fought a moon ago.

"Wha-" Robinlight started, but the she-cat cut him off. "Um, there was a… challenge in camp."

"A challenge?" Firefall whispered in his ear. "There hasn't ever been a challenge in Reefclan as far as I know. Petalfluff HATES them, and denies every single one brought to her."

Huh. It would be kind of interesting to see an actual challenge…

Robinlight's eyes were wide with amazement. "Who would be brave enough to do that?"

"Um…" the she-cat turned to her patrol as if wondering if she should say the name or not. One of the cats nodded. "Her name is Mistyfrost. She, well, thought it was pointless what Froststar was doing… she um, well, and Froststar don't exactly, um, well…" her voice trailed off.

They don't get along. Redshadow finished in his head.

Wow… Froststar's kind of a pathetic leader… He can't even keep control over his own Clan! Losing to a challenge as well… that makes him look REALLY WEAK.

"Well, we should go." Robinlight padded away from the border. "Thanks for talking to us, though."

"Um, sure?" The she-cat called after him.

"A challenge!" Firefall exclaimed. "I can't believe it! There's just one thing I'm confused about. Why did Mistyfrost do that? I mean, why would she care? It just seems odd… is Iceclan trying to trick us?"

"Why would they try to trick us this way?" Redshadow replied. "Why not just move the border in more? It seems to me that Froststar lost, and was forced to move the markers back. Whoever Mistyfrost is, she must be really good at fighting."

"Yeah…" Firefall's voice trailed off. "But she never specified if Froststar lost or not."

Yeah but he did lose and his face was priceless when he did. Anyways, tell me what you thought, and stay safe!
