When he saw...

When he woke up and saw those white hospital walls he felt himself start to crumble.

He closed his eyes to save himself from an instant headache at the bright lights in the room.

"No." Was all he was able to croak out before his throat protested hard. It was so dry. He tries to swallow but his mouth is bone dry so he just gags and wheezes.

"Hey, hey. No, sweetheart. Don't talk. Here, take a sip." There's a voice right next to him but he doesn't know who it is. The bright lights in the room keep him from opening his eyes and he just focuses on the cool water that starts to fill his mouth. "There. That's better, right?" The soft voice coos at him and put a firm hand just behind his shoulders to help him keep himself upright.

He doesn't even attempt to speak, just nods his head and gulps greedily at the next cup of water that is put to his lips. It's refilled once more but this one he'll take his time with. Taking a deep breath to try to calm his breathing from drinking so much water so fast, bringing his left arm up to wipe his mouth from the excess. His right arm felt numb and he didn't even want to look at it right now.

However, he did want to know who it was that was helping him. They deserved a thank you. He looks over and is barely able to pry his eyes open before he hears a monitor start to speed up the same time his heart to try to beat out of his chest.

Blonde hair.

Red eyes.

Fuck no.

He starts to scramble to the side of the bed. Just to drop to the ground the moment his feet hit the floor. The chill of the ground raises the hairs on his skin but he can't think about that right now.

He needs to get out of the room before he actually dies this time.

Mitsuki's heart shatters when she sees the fear that crosses Izuku's face. She's up and out of her chair the second he starts to freak out.

"Izuku, no! Sweetheart, no. I'm not my son. It's Aunt Suki! I promise Katsuki is no where near this hospital." She doesn't dare touch him. Not until he sees that he knows that it's her and not Katsuki. Izuku must have decided that it was too much for him to try to get out the door and just curled himself into the corner next to the door.

Crouching next to him and putting her hands out to him palm up down to show him her manicured and polished nails. Nails that her son would never have. Nails that she knows her son's soulmate knows Katsuki would never have.

"It's Aunt Suki, Zuzy. You know I would never hurt you, baby." She keeps her voice calm and as soft as she can. The last thing she remembers from the last time he was over at the Bakugou household was how scared he'd gotten when the volume in the house was raised. Remembers how he jumped and flinched as voices pitched higher than normal speaking.

Still, he refused to acknowledge what she was saying and showing him. Terrified and trembling against the hospital wall. The sting behind her eyes as she watches him shake and mumble to himself. It feels like acid. Her stomach churns and she feels like she's to blame for how this sweet child has been put through.

It is her son that's done this to him after all.

"I'll, um. I'll go get someone else for you, Zuzy." The words are thick in her throat and she swipes violently at the few tears that manage to escape over the brim of her eyes. She doesn't deserve to cry.

She carefully stands up and tries not to make any sudden movements. Slow and easy steps towards the door her surrogate son had previously attempted to make his way to were taken and the door opened without a sound. She stepped not even a full foot out into the hallway before she was being questioned by her husband.

"Hey, he up- what's wrong? Ki what's wrong?" She shakes her head and steps further out into the hallway. Masaru set down the can of soda and wrapped sandwich he'd gotten from the cafeteria, for Mitsuki, by the entrance to Izuku's room so he could bring his wife in for a hug. "Baby what's wrong?"

"Everything. Everything is wrong." She can't help but let out angry tears. "How could this have happened? We-we gave him love and tried to understand everything he's ever told us even when we didn't. We showed him how soulmates were supposed to love each other. We fucking taught him to love others like he wanted to be loved! How Masaru? How did this happen? Where did we fuck up? What did we do wrong?" Tears were streaming down her face. Hot and fast. She couldn't hold in everything she'd been forced to process in six hours anymore. It was all hitting her all at once. "Izuku woke up and probably saw my hair or maybe my face and just- he just looked so scared. Terrified. Our son terrorized and abused his soulmate to the point where he crawls up in a corner and waits for something to happen to him. Th-the scars, Mouse. There's s-s-so many."

Masaru just held his wife closer and clenched his teeth tighter and tighter till he'd given himself a headache. He doesn't know how they really got there but he knows they had failed their son somewhere along the way in raising him and nearly killed their son's sweet soulmate in the process. Where they failed, Izuku paid the price. He was livid with himself but this was not the time for him to feel sorry for himself. He'll find time for that after he's dealt with their son and have gotten Izuku out of the hospital and into safe hands.

"I don't know, love. I don't know what to tell you. I don't know what we did. All I know is that we have to move forward and do our best to fix and amend what's been done. Right now there is a terrified little boy in a hospital room that needs us and probably several nurses. Let's start there and work forward. It's all we can do right now." He gives Mitsuki one last squeeze before he pulls back from her. He takes her flushed and tear stained face into his hands, angling her face till her fire red eyes meet his. "One step at a time, sweetheart. That's all we can do right now. Helping Izuku right now is what we can do." He watches as her tears slow and come to a halt. Her eyes losing their unfocused and slightly hazy look to become more determined.

"I'll go get a nurse. He can't look at me right now. He needs someone," she paused to find the right word, "not blonde." The words were filled with a deep pain. She left before he could say anything else. Down the hallway to the nurses station to find a not blonde nurse to come check on Izuku.

In the meantime, Masaru bend down to pick up the can of soda and bag of chips that were momentarily forgotten. He takes a deep breath and slowly opens up the door to Izuku's private hospital room. Courtesy of All Might.

There's a whimper when he takes his first step into the room. He didn't see anyone of the bed and felt his heart leap into his chest. He calmly but frantically searched the room with his eyes. Snapping his head to the corer behind the door on his second step into the room.

The sight broke his heart a second time.

It was one see the boy broken and laying limp in a hospital bed.

It was a whole other thing to see him with his arms curled around his knees that were drawn up to his chest while he quietly muttered to himself and flinched at every sound that was made.

His anger spiked once more but he stomped it down like it was a campfire. Getting angry right now will not help Izuku.

He leans over and sets down the items in his hand on the table that was pushed out in the middle of the reason for some reason. 'Maybe Izu shoved or kicked it on accident trying to get away from Su,' his mind was quick to supply him.

"Izuku? Can you hear me?" Voice soft and as gentle as he can manage still manages to make the boy flinch and make a small whine. "Bumblebee?" At the sound of his old nickname Izuku's voice stops mid mumble and his body stiffens. Masaru was finally crouched in front of the boy and shifting so he could sit down. "Hey, Bumblebee. It's me, Uncle Ru. Can you look up for me?" 'Hold the tears, Masaru. Hold em' dammit.'

Izuku doesn't look up though. He doesn't trust the voice that calls him. Even if it is what his aunt and uncle used to call him when he was younger, he couldn't trust it.

Kacchan knew that name too. His soulmate could just be playing another trick to get him to look up and just wail on a clear shot of his face again. It wouldn't be the first time his soulmate would have used their childhood against him.

He was bad and Kacchan was still pissed off and he couldn't chance it but he was so tired and there was this shooting pain that was bone deep in his right forearm that he was trying so hard not to acknowledge even though he knew that he would need some help with it and he wonders if there's someone that was willing to give him a blanket but he doubted that there was anyone that was actually looking to help him right now since he was such a bad soulmate for talking bad about said soulmate to a friend he wasn't even supposed to have because he was not to be trusted and for good reason it seems since all he's done was hurt his soulmate and prove that he wasn't trust worthy like who even talks derogatory about their soulmate when all they've done was try to protect them from themselves and give them love the way they've earned the love and teach them lessons on why they're being taught love like that in the first place but there was a small crowd of voices in this head that was telling him he was wrong and that Kacchan was wrong but how could Kacchan be wrong if that was his soulmate who was his perfect equal down to a biological level which offset his absolute failure at all aspects of life with greatness and perf-

"Izuku. Son, I need you to look at me." The voice was firm and demanding but also kind and familiar. He hesitated. "Now, Izuku." Again the tone was the same. He didn't want to get in trouble any further so he looked up. It was All Might. He didn't think that All Might could use such a quiet voice in his hero form. "Good. Thank you. Are you able to stand up? You need to get back in bed." Izuku just wanted to curl back into himself. He didn't want to get up. Everything hurt and- "I know you're scared but no one in here is going to or would be able to hurt you. As long as I'm in your sight you can not be hurt, okay? I will not allow it." All Might was squatting in front of him so he wasn't able to see anyone that might have been behind him but All Might has never lied to him. He was starting to cramp up so he had no choice but to believe him and trust him to keep him safe.

"I-" His throat was still protesting any type of actual speech. He gripped his throat and rubbed at it while he tried to clear the dry lump there. He decided to just look up to All Might and shake his head lightly.

"You can't stand?" The question had him shaking his head in shame. "That's okay. You've been through a lot in the last twenty four hours. Let me help. Can I pick you up, Izuku? Is it okay for me to put my hands on you?" All Might made no move to reach out to Izuku. Not a single budge or twitch of his muscles.

He was going to wait there for as long as Izuku needed to allow him to touch him. Izuku nearly broke down at the realization. He didn't though, just took another deep breath and nodded.

All Might was quick but gentle as he put his arms under his knees that he'd relaxed and behind his back that felt like it was on fire from strain. All the man took was two, maybe three steps before he was easing Izuku back onto the softer than usual hospital bed. The small boy adjusted his position till he was comfortable, trying to buy himself time before he looked up too see who all was in the room with him and All Might.

'No one can hurt me. All Might is here. No one can hurt me. All Might is here.' It was a mantra he started in his head to remind himself that both All Might was there and that he wasn't going to allow him to get hurt right then. He tried to block out all other voices or words that tried to make its way to the forefront of his mind. Finally he slowly looked up to see All Might standing next to his bed close by, a nurse right next to him to check over the monitors that he was hooked up too again and his "Aunt Suki? Uncle Ru?" His voice shook violently and scratched to the point of pain. He could feel tears starts to burn behind his eyes as he watched his soulmate's parents hold each other at the foot of his bed.

"Hey, Bee." His Aunt Suki gave him a small wave and his Uncle gave him a watery smile.

Shouta Aizawa-Yagi was horrified.

The state of Izuku's apartment was disgusting. There were alcohol and blood strains splattered throughout the entire house. He'd called in a favor to a buddy of his at a private investigative agency to expedite the process so they could get the show on the road. Child protective services was called and there was an investigative team from the police station sent down to write up reports of everything inside the building.

He'd watched as they started at the carpets and revealed dried pools of blood underneath. Watched when they'd brought out a spray and turned on a black light. There was so much heart wrenching evidence.

The investigators went through and cataloged each and every thing inside of the Midoriya residence. Including everything inside of Izuku's room.

They found a stash of food and water. Medical supplies hidden away in a makeshift desk. A single school uniform. A laptop that looks like it had seen better days. A single threadbare blanket, fitted sheet and pillowcase. A stained mattress that sat on stacked pallets. A safe that they couldn't find the key too. They'd flipped through the notebooks on top of the boy's desk to reveal, in detail, much of the boy's injuries over the years from a frightening young age in the margins of the papers. Simple notations of abrasions, breaks, bruises, new scars, any type of blood lose, any possibly fractures and et cetera. It also showed almost every single hero that Shouta could name and then some.

Showed their quirks, fighting style, personal beliefs, basic information and everything else you could even attempt to think of. Shouta knew the notebooks were dangerous and if they'd fallen into the wrong hands then they could bring down the entire world of heroism and villainy. That was why he'd called in the favor to his friend in private investigations. If the notebooks were brought to the station along with nearly everything else in the house than it would be entirely too easy to have one or all of the books go "missing" and be swiped by a quirk or sold off by shady officers.

They didn't find a whole lot in the boy's near shoe box of a room, but his mother's room was another story. There were bottles, ranging from still sealed to completely empty, that were laying around the room just like the rest of the house. Lines of cocaine at the woman's vanity across from her bed that looked like she'd been interrupted from snorting when the boy's started fighting. Pill bottles of prescription medication for depression, acid re-flux and back pain that were all in Inko's name but there were also a few pills laying on the night stand that didn't match anything prescribed to her. All the medication was bagged and sent in for testing to make sure everything was what it said it was and to figure out everything else.

Shouta thinks the worst thing they found was the box of letters and envelopes that was hidden deep in the woman's closet. They were all letters addressed to Izuku. Not a single one was open but there was probably pushing a hundred of them. They all had small dates written on the back left hand corner of them and the most recent one was dated for just over three weeks ago.

The sender's name was what made Shouta stop in his tracks after he'd found them.

"Midoriya Hisashi"

"He should be able to be released later on tonight."

It was the Youthful Hero Recovery Girl that was brought in, per special request from All Might, to tend to Izuku's injuries.

"Toshinori, can I speak to you?" Yagi looks from Izuku and the Bakugou's to the small, gray haired woman and hesitates. The two of them were standing closer to the door than to the trio so he couldn't exactly hear what all was being said but he could see Izuku being timid towards the couple. He didn't want to leave the small boy and have him in a panic or feel even more uncomfortable than he already seemed. "He'll be fine. The concern they show is real. They're not going to hurt him."

"That's not what I'm worried about." He confides in the small woman. He's only known the boy for a relatively short amount of time but he sees him as his own. He feels overwhelmingly protective over the child but knows that there's some things that he needs to navigate on his own. He'd thought that the child's soulmate situation was getting better in the terms of Izuku coming to realize that the other boy didn't actually care for him. Then he'd almost been beaten to death in his own living room while his own mother watched on with little to no urgency to help.

Shouta had called him not even a few minutes after he'd left with Izuku and gave him the rundown of everything he'd seen and what was happening after they'd left. He was so livid with what had happened, Izuku's supposed mother and himself that he was pretty sure he'd need to replace his steering wheel because he felt it compress in his hands. Thankfully his phone was hooked up to the truck's bluetooth and he wouldn't have to replace that and he could still get and give updates to his husband.

"You'll stay in view of the window. He'll be fine, Yagi. I need to speak with you." Recovery Girl was firm as she spoke with him, leaving no room to rebuttal as she walked out the door.

Toshinori sighed and walked over to Izuku and the Bakugous.

Who were all three in tears.

The two adults looked like they wanted to be close or hug Izuku but kept their distance in what seemed like fear. Probably scared that they would accidentally hurt Izuku or make him uncomfortable. They seemed to be putting Izuku first, above their wants, and for that Toshinori was grateful.

As he stepped closer he heard Izuku ask about his soulmate and the answers that they were giving him.

"He won't be allowed anywhere near you. For a long time, Bee."

"He's just lucky we aren't disowning him. What he has been and continued to do to you is beyond disgusting."

"We should have known not to trust what he was telling us. Should have come to check in on you in person."

"Nothing like this should have ever happened and we take responsibility for not doing more. For blindly trusting our son and taking his word that he was as kind to you as he was telling us."

"We're going to make sure he learns and is punished fully for his wrong doings. Even if that means allowing him to go through court systems. Regardless of what's legally decided, he'll be taking classes to understand and fix his attitude and therapy sessions to work through whatever the fuck is wrong with him. I don't know where we fucked up Bee, but we're going to do our damnedest to fix it and make sure nothing like this happens ever again."

"I'd like to not have to bury our son before we turn old and grey so I second that. Bailing you out of jail would be a process and a half, love." The man looks to his wife with wide eyes and shakes his head. Mrs. Bakugou lightly and playfully shoves her husband's shoulder.

He's never had a child, or raised anyone himself, but he could see that these two parents were good ones. Could see it in the way they take responsibility in their mistakes and are willing to put in the work to right their wrongs, no matter if it was by their personal hand or not. Plus the small smile and amused huff of breath that came from Izuku made him want to cry. It wasn't a full smile or that loud laugh the greenette was known to give but it was a step in the right direction.

'Having these two involved in Izuku's life was going to be paramount his recovery', he thought to himself. Clearing his throat, he caught the attention of the three tearful beings. "I need to go talk to Recovery Girl. I'll be right back. Do any of you need anything while I'm out there?" He received three shakes of the head and three 'no thank you's. 'So Izuku was taught manners from these two. Makes sense.' "Okay. I'll be right outside the door if you need anything." He looks down to Izuku and gives him a soft smile.

"Thank you, All Might." Izuku's voice was small and scratchy but his eyes conveyed what his voice couldn't. He was grateful. For what? All Might had no idea. He just hoped that Izuku would be able to soon find comfort in more than just himself.

Walking to the door he closed it behind himself softly.

"You plan on giving it to him, correct?" Was the very first thing he'd heard when he stepped out into the hallway. His head snapped left and right to make sure that they were alone but should have known better after seeing the hallways were empty. Recovery Girl wouldn't just speak about One For All if there were people around.

Keeping in mind that he'd promised himself to stay in eyes view for Izuku's sake, he leans against the wall right next to the door and scrubs his face with his hands. It's been a long night if he did say so himself. "Yeah. We've been training to increase his muscle mass so it doesn't rip his body to shreds when I give it to him. He's been doing good with gaining wight and his strength. He was too thin when I first met him, but he's entirely too intelligent for me to have not even considered him to take it." He takes his head from his hands and watches the woman nod.

"I can tell you now that it hurts for the boy to even walk, let alone train." She tells him bluntly.

"What?" The statement stops him in his tracks.

"The boy's x-rays are horrifying Toshinori. His right femur was broken some time in the last five years and was never set correctly. Right ankle has several torn ligaments. His left tibia and fibia have fractures all along it up to his knees and there's a small chip in his patella that should be either replaced or at the very least shaved down till it's smooth. It's just tearing up the muscle and it'll need to be replaced when he gets older for sure. That's just one of his legs. One, Yagi. His arms? That right arm shouldn't even have feeling in it. He shouldn't be able to move it as well as he does. I know you said he's quirkless and his chats say the same thing but there is something inside that boy that's keeping him upright and alive. There's only so much that the boy's determination and persistence to survive can do." Her words strike him to his core. They're blunt and teetering on the note of harsh. "Whatever training you've been doing with him needs to come to a stop right now till I can can him properly." Her eyes pierce right through him.

"Of course." He sounds distant even to himself.

'All of those preexisting injuries and he was still smiling? Making jokes? Training and running like nothing was wrong?' He couldn't keep his thoughts away from trying to put himself in the boy's shoes. Toshinori knew he wouldn't have been able to go on doing what Izuku was doing with the pain he must be in. He knew he would have been bitching and complaining and whining about the pain. He knows quite a bit of pain due to being a Pro Hero for so long but even he has his limit of what he can tolerate before he becomes, what his husband calls "a whiny bitch".

"How long till you can start doing what you need to fix everything?" He looks to Recovery Girl. He wants to get Izuku on the road to real recovery as soon as possible to help him know a new life without constant pain and suffering.

"I would need a parent or guardian's permission for the surgeries and medication and to put him under while I work." She gives him a pointed look and he's already pulling out his phone to message his husband that'll he'll be over to pick him up soon to get things ready and start the adoption and emergency guardianship papers for Izuku. He listens on as he types. "If I had that right now I'd be able to start in a week. Give him some time to recover from this but still have that left tibia in the early healing process to re break it and set it properly. He won't be up or moving around for at least a month once I start. His body is going to need a lot of time to heal on it's own. If I use my quirk too often on him, his heart is going to give out."

His fingers stopped on his keyboard, hovering momentarily as he absorbed the information being given to him. He finishes his message and pockets his phone, nodding having come to a semi-half plan in his head.

"I should everything sorted by the end of the week, if not sooner. I'll give your official line a call when everything is coming to and end to start setting up times and get him settled in the house and make sure everything will be accessible to whatever he'll need for recovery and if he needs physical therapy but that'll be down the line some won't it?" He takes in a deep and puts his hand to his heart. It's beating rapidly and his chest is tightening. He hasn't even gotten Izuku yet and he's already been beaten and close to death.

It's a horrible start to parenthood.

He doesn't know what he's doing.

He's obviously doing a terrible job so far.

He doesn't deserve to sign papers to declare the boy as his kin.

He'll only make the kid's life worse.

There was a sudden slight stinging sensation across the right side of his face. It didn't hurt by any means but it was enough to catch his attention. He looks up to see Recovery Girl shooing away a rather large nurse who's hands were shrinking to a more proportionate size. "Thank you, dear!" Recovery Girl called down the hallway to a woman and then turned back to him with eyes filled with a raging fire. "Don't you dare start throwing yourself a pity party. There was only so much you could do in both the eyes of the law and as a new person in that child's life."

"I know but I don't know what I'm do-" Recovery Girl's loud scoff cuts him off.

"No parent actually knows what their doing, Toshinori. None of them. Not that couple in the room, not the ones down the hall, the new parents two floors down, the parents that graduated to grandparents. None of them, Yagi-san. Everyone likes to act like they know but they really don't. All you can really do as a parent is give your child love, security, understanding and try to part wisdom on them every now and then. Hope that they take your teachings to heart and don't end up a mass murdering psychopath." Her words are sent to him with a harsh tone but they bring him a semblance of comfort. He knows that the woman speaks from experience, having both birthed four children of her own and then adopting two more. She was now a grandmother to several kids so she'd know that angle as a parent as well.

He can do nothing more than trust her words.

She beckons him to crouch down and she brings him into a hug.

"You're doing good so far, Toshinori. You and Shouta will give that boy a better life no matter what. Just because you aren't his biological parents doesn't mean you can't be his parents." She releases him and rests herself against her cane once more. "Don't let this discourage you from giving that boy a real shot at having a loving home and family. You can't predict the future. You couldn't have foreseen this. Give him the love, support, and care he desperately needs and deserves." The air between them is heavy for a moment. She lets the words settle of him and sink into his bones before she waves her cane at him and starting her way down the hallway. "Now go back in there. Check on him. Go get Shouta and by the time you get back he should be ready to go." She doesn't give him a backward glance before stepping into the elevator at the end of the hall.

Steeling his nerves he nods to himself before turning around to knock on and then open Izuku's room door.

He stuck his head in to see the two adults sitting on either side of the foot of the bed. They were both talking softly with each other while Izuku watched on with a small quirk of his lips. It would be a whole scene if they weren't in a hospital room and Izuku weren't nearly mummified in bandages. His entrance catches Izuku's attention and All Might sees tension release from the boy's shoulders.

"Sorry that took so long." He apologizes.

"You're fine, sir. We've just been talking about Uncle Ru's attempt to make a cake for one of his friend's and how Aunt Suki had to stop the house from burning down because of it." There's humor in the boy's voice but his face is so tired. Just the sight of him makes All Might himself feel tired.

"That sounds interesting." He remembers how he himself nearly did the same thing trying to make Shouta breakfast about two months ago. He was thankful that his husband knew his way around the kitchen because he'd live off of take out and fast food otherwise. The two adults both give small laughs to his reaction and All Might turns to them. "Thank you. For being here with him. I know it means a lot to Izuku and it does for Eraser and I as well." The man is quick to wave him off but the woman gives him a nod. He turns so he's able to address all three at once and starts with Izuku. "So I need to go grab Eraser Head before we're able to bring you back to my house." Then he moves to address the adults, "Would you two mind staying a bit longer while I go get him?" And finally addresses all three. "Would that be okay? If not I can just call someone to go get him and bring him here."

He sees that the two at the end of the bed were ready to stay as long as they could around the boy, but sees that Izuku is having to take a moment to consider it.

All Might completely understands and wouldn't leave the room again if that's what would make Izuku feel more comfortable.

"How long would you be?" His voice has a small shake to it and he looks nervous. Like he's scared that whatever he says or asks will be the wrong thing.

"An hour maybe. Two tops. I'd like to be able to do this one thing before we head home. As soon as we got back here though, you should be ready to be discharged. Recovery Girl just wanted your body to rest under surveillance for a bit before she released you." All Might didn't know exactly what to stay so he stuck with the truth. Getting Shouta would only take him maybe half an hour but he wanted to bring Izuku's things back to the house or at least pack it into the truck before Izuku was released from the hospital. He didn't want to even bring Izuku around the area that he used to live in, for fear of accidentally triggering any unwanted thoughts or memories.

Watching Izuku weigh his options in his head he's ready to just tell Izuku that he can wait till tomorrow to do what he needs to do and call Nemuri to go pick up Sho from Izuku's old apartment.

"I can go?" The man, Izuku's Uncle Ru as he put, speaks up and catches the other's attentions. "If it'll make it easier on Bee, I can and pick up Eraser Head." He looks from Izuku to All Might and finally lands on his wife next to him. He shrugs his shoulders and makes a final statement before standing up. "I know that way and it shouldn't take too long. Besides you might be discharged earlier and I'd hate for you to be in here longer than you need to be. I know how much you hate hospitals, Bee." He shoots a sympathetic look to the boy and Izuku lowers his head in what seems to be shame. Both of the Bakugous have a sadness pass over their features but they shake their heads in almost sync. 'Well that's an almost telepathic reaction and thought process it seems.' He makes the comment in his head before coming to a solution in his head.

"If you're okay with it. I really can just call over to a friend that I know is probably up right now." He makes the last offer.

"This will be easier and faster." The man shakes his head before looking towards Izuku. "I've missed you, Bee. I'll be back soon." A positively radiant, but small, smile is formed on Izuku's face and the entire room holds their breaths as they bask in the purity.

As broken as he is he still bring life into the room.

All Might now understands the boy's nickname.

'Bumblebee is very fitting,' he thinks.
