A year after starting the relationship:

Yugi learned how to speak Arabic now, and sometimes the both of us tease the coworkers by speaking in Arabic. Yugi and I also took dancing classes so he is no more stiff, he even dances around in the lunchroom.

We all have a lot of fun, the shenanigans Duke and Honda had still is a subject we love to talk about, but they retort with our permanent boners, with are cured now.

Bakura learned for the second time not to anger a Neko, when Yugi was completely okay he ignored Bakura for a whole month, and Ryou supported Yugi, but after this Yugi somehow learned how to change back when he was part or full Neko without the sneezing.

Yugi has grown last year, the coworkers and I see an amazing change in him, and we all love it. Since Yugi has a driver's license the tickets I always get are dramatically reduced, but if that is so strange, Yugi loves to drive, and I love to sit back and let me drive. Don't judge me I'm stil a prince, wink.

Yugi and I both made a life changing decision, we both needs somthing different, and we are going to do it in a couple of weeks.

I'm closing the register and Yugi is cleaning the tables, he is softly humming a song we both like allot.

I walk in to putt my kas away and see Anzu looking strangely at me.

"What?" I ask.

"I thought you were humming that song."

"Nah Yugi has this soft voice."

She drops everything and runs out, I place my kas on it's place and follow her.

What touched me is Anzu tearing up, Yugi with his eyes close sings the song over the rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and softly sways his hips.

She walks over and starts singing with him, he drops the towel and takes her in his hands, they dance together, I can't help it, take my phone and film it, next I place it on the group app.

Me: what do you think of this guys?

Duke: Atem, phones are only allowed at the work floor if there is an emergency!

Honda: No way, is that truly our Yugi?

Tea: Finally our baby boy is back to himself

Nobody except Duke responded to the fact I used my phone, no they loved the fact I filmed our little one, and shared it with the group.

Today when shift is over, Yugi, Tristan, Serenity and I go straight to Rotterdam, tonight is an fun event at the bar, and I signed me and Yugi in, specialy today is gonna be a great surprise for him, it's exactly a year since we became an item, we have our down moments together, but one step down forces us to make at least three steps up together, and we sheries the up moments both to the fullest.

I drive, Yugi and Serenity sleep a bit, Tristan sits next to me and takes over when my arm begins to bugg me, I fell last week of the stairs and now I keep having trouble with it, we went to the hospital for x-rays and it seems there is a bone in my wrist not healed properly last year so surgery is required to fix it, and that happens in three weeks, luckily I have now soft cast, but when I'm operated I get a hard cast again.

And with Yugi being more independent now, he can help me so mom stays home in Egypt.

I rented a big van because tomorrow we must take everything along, I'm going to miss this place. If we are in Rotterdam I take Serenity and Tristan to their hotel, and then Yugi and I go to the guitar shop, My new guitar is finaly done, even is one of my surprises, I only hope it's a succes.

Yugi looks like always, twisting his eyes a bit, if we walk in the guitar shop, but he says nothing, Yugi knows I love to buy stuff for my guitar.

"Hello I have an order on the name of Sennen." I say to the same guy we saw the first time I had Yugi with me.

"Ah two Bohemian?"

"Yes correct."

He pick two big boxes, and I take one of them, and the other he gives Yugi, "Good luck." he says towards me, "And kid, don't let him go, when I had the chance I blew it I was to late." he says towards Yugi and shakes his head sadly.

"Thank you." I say to the man and we walk out.

"Atem? What is this? And what did he mean?"

"You'll see sweetie, at the room."

When we are at the room, I say. "Me first sweetie, then it is your turn to open your box."

I pick my guitar out first, a nice black one, and the golden eye of Horest in the center, and it's a acoustic one.

Then it is his turn.

He first picks out the amplifier, and looks confused.

After he takes out the new guitar, his hand is shaking and I am getting nervous.

He opens the bag and just looks at it, he says nothing.

Shit! I think.

"Atem, it's beautiful, I love it." he says while hugging me.

A blue electric guitar is laying in the bag, and the sing of Yin Yang is blasting off.

Between the strings is a envelope attached, dear Yugi it reads, he didn't see it.

"Hey Yugi, what is that?" I say while pointing at the envelope.

He opens the envelope, and while reading the paper, I go behind him on my knee.

He turns around tears in his eyes, sees me on my knee holding a litle black velvet box, words are not necesery he is in schok, and then he speeks up, "Yes I will marry you Atem."

I putt the silver gold ring around his finger, and we are giving a hell of a make out sesion after that.

He let's me read the letter.

Dear Yugi.

We are now friends for a year and a half, and lovers for a year.

You was devastated when I went to Egypt, and happy when I came home.

Many ups and downs we have overcome together.

And I hope we will overcome many more together, and I always can call you home, because that is as what I see you, my home, no mather where we are.

Please turn around and see what I've got for you.

And remember, I love you always.

I smile, I know what was in the letter because I emailed it to the guitar guy.

"Let's call Egypt Sweetie." I say. "Mana and mom can't wait the till they hear the news."

I call Mana, mom does stil have an old facion Nokia.

"Hello? Hey Atem, Yugi! How are you doing?"

"Great Mana, can you get mom and dad for a second?" I ask.

"Shure we are yust having lunch, hey its Atem and Yugi gather around Mom, dad, Seth!"

"Hey everyone, I want to introduce you all to Yugi, my now fiance."

"Mom and Mana are screaming of joy."

"Show us the ring!"

Yugi holds up his hand, and both Mana and mom screaming again.

Dad, says "show your spouse son."

I hold the phone so that Yugi completely is in the screen.

"I aprove son, he is a nice young man fit for you, take care of him."

"Thank you father."

"Mana, you want to see my new guitar?" Yugi asks exited.

"What do you think Yugi, show me your new baby!!"

Yugi grabs his guitar, and shows it, "Wow a beauty fit for a celeberty."

"Yeah I'm going to tune it, I want to bring it tonight."

"What is tonight Atem?" mom asks.

I swith to Egyptian that Yugi hasn't learned yet, tonight Brian May come to the bar, I'm glad the guitars showed up on time.

"Why sweetheart?"

"Brian May is his inspiration and it is a surprise for him, I hope he would love to sign our guitar."
