Hi guys! I haven't posted in millennia. I really didn't know where to go after Chapter 17. Silya got complicated for me and I started writing random ways to finish her. Also, I've been going through a lot of stress and my life is getting a whole lot more complicated for me. But that's not important right now. When you read this, I do add some scenes from Umbara and you may know that the dialogue isn't actually the same. To be honest with you, I'm probably just gonna edit it all later again and post it with the right dialogue. The scenes, anyway, don't include the clones and only Silya and Krell but I might edit it and add things in if you want me to. Just review. Anyways, here's the chapter that took me so long to post:
One. Year. Ago.
Expansion Region, Umbara.
The blast obviously impacted them. The clones. Umbara was no place for a padawan like her. Green globes of electricity flew down towards the clones killing of a few and throwing back the others. Silya was station a few clicks away from the Jedi Master.
"Why can't we help them?" She asked like she was three again.
The master, who's voice was as deep as Silya's uncle (and that was deep), spoke to her in a harsh tone but didn't answer the question, "Hasn't your master ever taught you about clones other then they are on your side?" he asked.
She wanted to say: "You never answered my question," but, she said this: "Well, she said, um, she doesn't really, well, I guess... Um."
He stared blankly at her, "Exactly, clones are only meant for war, they aren't meant to be rich, or famous, or any kind of that bull."
She shook her head, "I don't think so, I mean, they didn't really do anything wrong back there, I would do the same thing if Rex wasn't in charge."
"That's a weak-minded decision, and you would have your lightsaber on your side, you would be safe," he said.
Silya stomped her foot, "Then why can't I help them?". He was looking at her funny like her teacher did one time on Kuat when she got just one equation wrong.
"As I said that's all Bull and-" he was cut off by Silya once more. She was being exceptionally annoying to this man who over ranked her.
"Then bullshit that bull!" she yelled making everyone stare at her gayly, almost everybody, no one heard her curse before, "I don't care if I die in battle because some -she made air quotes- stupid clones can't fend for themselves! I don't care if there are stupid Jedi who won't help them, and I especially don't care if I don't have the permission to help them. Everything about this conversation is bullshit, frankly, in my opinion, you're bullshit, now I will nicely ask you to step aside and let me through!".
The worst part about that paragraph was that Silya Alamak, who had the Council on her side, had just called a Jedi Master bullshit. If you know how the story goes, you would understand that this man is not a peaceful one and didn't respond in anger to her, but with almost delight. In reality, he didn't respond to her, he stepped back and let her through. In his mind, he knew that he would try and turn her to his side. Somehow and someday.
Present. Day.
Coruscant, Apartment 76, 0500. Day 18.
She woke to the usual sirens outside. Probably some other police chase. It would've been fun if she was allowed to go ahead and help in that. But she didn't want to and she was not stupid enough to even try to. 'Twas the fifteenth day since she left the Temple, the one thousand one hundred and tenth day since she left home. She missed her mom and dad very much, but she missed her master the most. She would've been there to talk her through and help her. Actually, she would probably never have left the Temple if Adi Gallia was still alive. Silya didn't blame Obi-Wan Kenobi for it, she blamed Darth Maul and Savage Opress.
After about five minutes lying in bed, Silya jumped out and tied her hair in a ponytail while using the force to undress and dress. She yawned and brushed her teeth. It was cloudy today but she still had to leave for work. Once she was done with this shift, she would grab her money from the bank and leave for Kuat if it was that easy. Her grandmother, she heard was already on her way over to Coruscant and would arrive on the upper levels. She'd contacted them on day thirteen. She was going home.
The door opened from her apartment and she stepped outside. She'd bought the piece of trash five days ago knowing it'd probably be out of her hands in a few months or only days.
When she arrived at work, she was still tired, but grabbed the packages and climbed onto the bike. She zoomed toward the first destination, which was a restaurant. The man there smiled at her but said nothing. She could tell he was sleepy like her. She went off to the next three destinations which were miles apart. When she stopped to have lunch she nearly collapsed on a diner's chair.
"You okay sweetums?" the waitress asked.
"What?" Silya asked sleepily, "Oh, yeah, I'm fine, just super tired."
The waitress shrugged and turned away, "Your order?".
"Coffee," Silya answered, "Extra caffeine."
"I'd never question that ma'am."
The coffee came, and went, Silya left after paying and reached to hop on her bike again when someone bumped into her nearly knocking her off her feet. The bike toppled over and almost threw the packages into an abyss. Silya's eyes widened.
"Hey!" she exclaimed whirling around, "What was that-".
The figure grabbed Silya and dragged her into an alley.
They were wearing a blue and white cloak, and boots. They obviously weren't human so Silya was about to say to kriff off but when it removed its hood, Silya was appalled.
"Ahsoka?!" she gasped, "Wh-what- are you here to end me, have the Jedi gone bad?! I don't-".
The Togruta silenced her, "I don't have much time, listen, I'm a fugitive now, they blame me for the attack on the Temple, they blame me for that, okay, but I need someone who knows this place well, plus, you have the speeder bike, you can help me, please, meet me on deck 51 at 0150, please, Silya, I need your help!".
And with that, Ahsoka rushed off, Silya was stunned, she was even more stunned when Anakin Skywalker rounded the corner and stopped right in front of her.
"What did she tell you?" he asked. Silya could tell he was desperate right now. She didn't know why but she could tell he needed to know what Ahsoka had said. Well, Silya didn't care and would never rat Ahsoka out.
"She didn't say anything, sir," she replied coolly as if she never knew the great Anakin Skywalker, "I was just pushed in here."
He grunted and ran in Ahsoka's direction. Silya sighed and walked towards her bike with her arms crossed. She wished she had time to tell Ahsoka she couldn't make it, she wished she could've said that she was going home. What even happened though, Ahsoka is not the type to leave the Jedi Order for bad. So what did happen? She grabbed the packages and placed them neatly on to the bike again. She drove off thinking memories inside her giant brain.
One. Year. Ago.
Flashback #2
Expansion Region, Umbara.
"They'd be walking into a trap out there Master!" Silya exclaimed after Rex had left the room, "It'd be suicide."
Krell responded with ease, "This whole mission is suicide young girl, it is my job to lead you and your boyfriends to safety."
Silya gagged, boyfriends? What kind of stunts was this man trying to pull, "First of all," she argued, "They are only friends nothing more. Secondly, even if we were closer, it would only be to brother standards, like, um, Neyo! He's my favorite Commander so far and mostly because he's the first clone I ever met. And third, you could at least lend them a hand out there as I did."
He didn't respond. He was thinking. This girl was going to be harder to beat. Even if he tried, he'd probably be a piece of trash standing in her way. But he knew that there was much more than this girl was going to do than be a pawn in the Jedi Order.
Present. Day.
Coruscant, Upper Levels. 1500 Day 15.
"So what're you here for, kid?" the clone asked.
Silya shrugged, "I'm headed back to Kuat, my home."
The guy nodded but then tilted his head, "Haven't I seen you before? Were you ever around the Jedi Temple?".
Silya froze but responded, "My grandma, who's coming to get me was with me if you saw me, cause that was when I went."
The trooper shrugged, he took her pad and slid it through the metal detector.
Silya was past the gate to the landing pad, it also meant that she wouldn't see any more clones as of yet. Her grandmother did not take a liking of them. She used the standard Naboo Guards as her guardians. Although this was, Silya Alamak was wrong that she would not run into any more clones. Surrounding her, were about one hundred standard troopers. Everywhere she looked, she would see a man asking for identification. Then one tapped on Silya's shoulder.
"Hey, kid, I need identification, so, hand it over."
Silya smiled under the cover of her hair. She was going to use so much compulsion.
"Go. Away."
The clone frowned, "I'm gonna need a better answer than that."
"GO. AWAY."
The clone wielded a weapon and when Silya was about to pounce, she looked up and saw Neyo. She gasped but lost her footing and fell. Neyo saw her face too and under the mask widened his eyes.
"Neyo.," Silya muttered.
The clone smiled underneath and held out a hand, "May I help you milady?".
Silya rolled her eyes, "Shut up," she said and walked away, but of course, he caught up to her.
"Is there someone I should know about?" he asked.
She shrugged, "My grandma is coming today, then I'm going back to Kuat."
Neyo was quiet suddenly but he nodded and pointed over to the landing deck. Silya sighed and walked towards it silently.
She thought that he would stay there but he followed her and started talking.
"I never thought you were the kind to talk to a civilian," she teased.
He shook his head, "It's better than talking to her."
Silya raised her eyebrow, "What do you mean?".
She knew that they would probably have a new general already, but she didn't know that they were allowed to hate her.
He sighed, "General Allie, you've seen her right?".
Silya nodded, "You don't like her?".
He was silent but then he talked. Silya felt almost bad for him, she'd known him for three years like a brother, and she had barely any contact unless they were fighting together.
"I bet the other guys are fine with her, but she doesn't impress me."
Silya sighed, "You miss her don't you..".
He turned away, "It was good seeing you again kid."
Silya frowned, "You too."
And he was gone. Silya's flight came and went, but the story didn't end there.
Thank you for reading!
I haven't posted in forever and I'm sorry for not doing it.
I hope you have been safe and healthy 'cause even if I don't know you, it's hard for everyone to learn about someone who has a disease.
Anyway, Stay safe, and goodbye.
