ANYWAYS, I stayed up until 3am last night, which was fun, but also means I'm about to pass out. Heck yeah, we love running on little to no sleep.

PhoenixEcho2007- Thank you! And just to say: HoneySnow writes Featherstride and Mistyfrost. I write Redshadow and Firefall. As we go into the next book, I think that it'll become more obvious.

ANYWAYS, ON WITH THE CHAPTER!

Featherstride padded along the familiar path that led to the gathering spot. She glanced over at Beepaw to find him walking alone and not talking to anyone.

I feel so bad. He didn't want Berrypaw to be punished like this!

Berrypaw wasn't allowed to go to this gathering, and Beepaw was really sad about it. "Do you think Beepaw's okay?" She asked Honeystorm. Honeystorm shrugged. "I don't know. But did you know that Rapidcreek..." (btw Honeystorm and Rapidcreek are a thing just so ya know)

Featherstride padded over to Beepaw as Honeystorm started ranting about Rapidcreek and how awesome he was. "Hey Beepaw, I know that you're sad about Berrypaw not being allowed to the gathering and all, but it could've been a lot worse!" She pointed out.

"I know," Beepaw started. "But I feel like it was my fault. I'm so glad Aspenstar is a kind leader. What if he exiled Berrypaw!" He wailed.

Featherstride forced down a laugh. "You couldn't get exiled for that!" She mewed.

"Really? Oh, good." Beepaw replied.

"I'm gonna go sit with my friend, is that ok?" She asked.

"That's fine." He replied.

Featherstride padded away from Beepaw and scanned the clearing. There she is!

She headed towards the ginger she-cat and sat down beside her. "Hi!" She exclaimed.

"Hi." Firefall replied.

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

Firefall shifted her paws. "Well….." She started. Oh no! Is she saying we can't be friends anymore?!

"I smelled your scent at the border yesterday. Along with another cat. This is your one chance to explain before I tell Quailstar." Firefall finished.

"Oh!" She began. "I can explain!" She mewed.

"You better." Firefall growled.

She's being very hostile. And with good reason.

"I was walking past the border and I saw one of the Gladeclan apprentices across the border, hunting. so I hissed at her to come back. I made her bury the prey on your side, because it's rightfully yours. Please don't tell on her! She's already banned from this gathering!" She explained.

"Oh. Okay. As long as you make sure she NEVER does it again." Firefall threatened.

She nodded. "I will. I promise!" She mewed.

"Good." Firefall replied, purring.

Okay, everything's fine.

She settled down next to Firefall and watched the leaders announce what happened. Quailstar began. "We are pleased to report that we have the territory back that Iceclan stole. Why it is back, we do not know." She looked at Froststar with a questioning look on her face.

Froststar shifted his paws. "Umm…" He started. "I-I lost a challenge! Okay?" He hissed.

"Really?" Quailstar replied, disbelief in her eyes. "And who DARE challenge the GREAT Froststar?" Quailstar teased.

"I did." A blue and white she-cat stood up from where she was standing as everyone turned to see her. Froststar was looking at her, glaring.

"I, Mistyfrost, challenged Froststar and beat him." Mistyfrost explained.

Quailstar let out a mrrrowww of amusement. "You got beaten by a queen? Your own mate, actually." Quailstar teased.

She's enjoying this. "She's not my mate anymore!" Froststar hissed.

"That would explain it." Quailstar mewed. Quailstar looked at Mistyfrost and dipped her head, without saying anything.

"Well, THAT was enjoyable." Firefall mewed.

"Froststar usually leaves us alone, so I don't hate him as much as you do." She pointed out.

"Well, you can learn to hate him." Firefall replied.

"Yeah." She mewed.

I can learn to be like you.

Just going to mention, I adore that ending line. ANyways, tell me what you think, (was it satisfying to see Froststar get humilated? What final ships do y'all have? Knowing me, who is going to die?) and stay safe!
