When Vishnal and Margaret arrived at the restaurant, they saw Porcoline, Dyla, and Leon all chatting at the front.
"Porcoline! You know how to drive the airship, don't you?" Margaret asked as she rushed up next to him.
"Oh, Meg, um I've done a few times, but it's not something I'd really list as one of my skills." he sheepishly mentioned.
"Please, Porcoline! You have to take Vishnal to the capital right now! Frey is about to have her baby and Arthur needs to know!" Margaret pleaded.
"Well I'll be damned." Leon added.
"Yes, the Princess instructed me to go get Master Arthur. Please, Porcoline, I've searched all over the town and you're the only one who knows how to fly it!" Porcoline was silent for a moment. He set down the spoon in his hands.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE!" He boomed into the restaurant. For the second time that night, the restaurant grew silent. "It seems that we have run out of food! Please take the time to finish up your meals, but the kitchen is closed for the night!"
"Huh? What's going on?" The restaurant customers started to buzz with confusion.
"Alright, I'll do it for Frey." Porcoline stated the the group presently around him.
"Oh, Porco, thank you!" Margaret gave him a big hug.
"Vishnal, Leon, you're coming with me. I'm going to need some muscle on the airship."
"What about me?" Dylas blurted out.
"No, Dylas, you're needed here to handle people's bills and see them out. Meg, I want you to go check on Frey and make sure she's ok. And tell her I'm on my way." Porcoline suddenly had a fire in his eye that burned brightly.
"Ok!" Everyone said together and they all went their separate ways.
Margaret poked her head into the large doorway of the castle.
"Um, hello?" She called out.
"Ah, Lady Ventuswill! I'm looking for Frey, have you seen her?"
Venti nodded and brushed back one of her wings. There was Frey leaning against her, clutching her stomach.
"Frey!" Margaret cried and ran over to her. "Frey, Porcoline, Vishnal, and Leon have all gone to the capital to get Arthur!"
"Really?" Frey winced. Frey hadn't known how long she had been waiting by Venti, it seemed like forever ago that she sent Vishnal on that errand.
"Ah, Venti! Here comes another one!" Frey gripped Venti's claw as tightly as she could and she let out a pained moan. He other hand gripped the lower portion of her stomach and she leaned forward. She panted and tried to steady her breathing as best she could for a few moments. Frey gasped and squinted her eyes shut. Frey threw her head back and finally gasped for some fresh air.
"Frey, let's get you to the clinic." Margaret knelt down in front of her and brushed the hair out of her face.
"I think that might be best. There's only so much I can do." Venti replied.
"O-ok." Frey squeezed out. Margaret helped pull her up. "Do you think you can walk over there with me?"
"I'll try." Frey said on wobbly legs.
"We'll just take it nice and slow, ok?" Margaret held her up and Frey nodded.
"Bye, Venti." Frey said as she looked back.
"Bye, Frey, good luck!" Venti smiled at them. It hurt her to see her friend in so much pain, but she knew it was the only way to a new life. She sighed and put her head down.
Inch by inch, Frey and Margaret had finally arrived at the door to the clinic.
"M-Meg!" Frey stammered. "Ahh!" Frey yelped and grabbed her friend's hand. She doubled over in pain and liquid came gushing out from under her pajama dress. Frey squeezed tightly on Margaret's hand.
"W-What?" Margaret gasped. "Come on, let's get you inside, quick!" They rushed inside to find the place dark and seemingly empty.
"Jones! Nancy!" Margaret yelled throughout the clinic. Jones came running down the stairs in a panic.
"W-What is it?" He asked.
"Frey is about to have her baby!"
"Oh, I see! Nancy!" He yelled up the stairs. She came running down as well. "It's time, Nancy!"
"Oh, goodness! Hello, Frey!" She walked over to Frey and took her from Margaret. "There. There, Jones and I will take very good care of you. How exciting, yes?" Frey slightly nodded. Jones and Nancy prepared the bed and Frey gently laid down. Frey looked to her side.
"Look, it's Clorica! Did she ever wake up?"
"Yes, actually she did for about an hour, but then fell right back asleep after she had had something to eat. I went to tell you and Vishnal, but I couldn't find you, I'm sorry." Nancy brushed the side of Frey's cheek.
"Now, Frey, I'll have to check a few things first. Would you please prop your legs up? Nancy, will you show Margaret where she can wait?" Jones asked and Nancy nodded. Nancy led Margaret out into the waiting room. "Margaret, why don't you head home. This might be a very long night. We've got it from here." Nancy smiled.
Margaret looked a little sad, but nodded. "Ok, just tell Frey good luck for me." She told Nancy. Nancy smiled and headed back behind the curtain after Margaret left.
"Jones, do you know when the baby is going to be born?" Frey said anxiously. "I'm waiting for Arthur, he's not here yet, but Porcoline went to go get him…" Nancy dabbed her forehead with a cool cloth.
"It's definitely on the way, but we've still got a little while to wait." Jones reassured her. Frey nodded. She just wanted Arthur to be here.
