Haley took a deep breath and re packaged the box. She left the home got into her car. Put the package in the passenger seat. Buckled her seatbelt and turned on the car. She slowly began to pull out of the driveway then made her way onto the road.

Haley took her time driving through town. Not really paying attention to what was going on around her. She was not going to be out into the world for long.

...

When Nathan saw a car he didn't recognize parking by his home. He paused waiting to see who the person was and what they were doing. The sight of Haley emerging from the vehicle took his breath away. Even in pain and heartbreak she was stunning.

Haley reached the front of his home. And tossed the box by his feet.

Her gaze focused. "What the fuck is wrong with you! The girl you wrote those letters 't exist anymore. You're wife killed my daughter! Tried to kill my husband and would of killed me if he hadn't shielded me.!"

"I hate you! I regret ever meeting i exist!" She tossed the last keepsake tying them to each other. The bracelet he had given her. Haley turned and walked away from him back to her car.

...

The entire encounter with Nathan left her drained and her body felt drained and tired. Haley took off her shoes got back into bed.

She laid down and closed her eyes trying not to fight the sleep any longer.

Haley felt herself sink into the mattress. Her face buried into the pillow as sleep washed over her.

A loud wailing filled her ears. Haley smiled as she let go of the monitor and went into the hallway.

She took careful steps and went straight into the nursery.

Her heart overcome with happiness as she walked over to the crib and peered inside.

Taking in the sight of her daughter who had her father's blue eyes and her mother's dark hair.

Haley scooped her up and held her securely placing kisses all over the infant's face. "Momma's girl. I love you my sweet girl. Let's go lay down with daddy." She said. Making her way out of the nursery into the hallway.

"My two favorite girls. Now this is the way to start the morning." Chris said.

Haley carefully laid the infant girl in between them on the bed.

The couple looked to each other lovingly. Their wedding rings shining brightly in the sun's reflection.

"We need at least two more. Another girl and a son." Haley said.

...

Haley awoke with tears in her eyes soon realizing it was all a dream. She got up and opened her nightstand. Taking out a pair of scissors. She rolled up one of her arm sleeves. Pressed the sharp edge of the scissor to her skin and gasped. As the sensation caused her arm to ache and burn. The cut bled and she found herself able to breath again. To see the pain on the inside reflected on the outside.

She quickly grabbed paper to stop the bleeding put her sleeve down and scissors away. She had found it at last an outlet for everything dark she felt and said to herself.

Haley then pulled the covers over herself. Deciding in that moment to engulf herself into the darkness and heartbreak she felt that was never ending.
