(Mid Chapter Authors Notes)

I stare blankly at a wall as Raven, Summer, Qrow, and surprisingly Kali meanders around the kitchen... Cinder is being a good girl of course, watching Tv.

Willow is back home, and I'm just doing... stuff and things? I've already finished up an 'ancient' relic and mural... it took surprisingly less time that I thought... only two days... eighty lesser divine abilities and countless petty.

I mean, if you think about it, the system said that one moderate divine ability was worth like forty lesser... so if you think about it, I technically used more than two moderate divine abilities to make it.

I assume that I won't be able to stack abilities like that when I am creating life... I really don't want to delve into the entire 'god left me unfinished' thing.

'Speaking of creating life... maybe I should create like... an entirely new race? That sounds pretty fun... elves? Maybe... it would have to be only like one person though... I want them to be slightly stronger than regular humans, perhaps even faunus, and I don't really know how much power is needed to make a life... I mean, I've got that fifty percent bonus from my perk, but I'm not too sure if that'd be enough to transform a clay figure to a living, breathing, person.'

I tilt my head as I begin thinking over the many things I could eventually create.

'hey, system... how much power would I need to create a dxd-esque angel?'

One moderate divine ability to create the body, then one for the soul and consciousness, and then one the racial abilities... this would only give you a 'two-winged angel'.

'three in all for a two-winged angel... that I could unlock the aura of... that's actually a little horrifying. They're, what, several times stronger than a human would be? Then add in Aura like Kaioken~'

'I'm actually going to include them in my murals... that's sounds like a good idea... I guess I should get onto re-doing them...'

I blink as I notice something in the far reaches of my perception. "Yo holy shit! Mountain Glenn is being attacked by hordes of grimm!"

Four sets of eyes lock onto me... Cinder honestly doesn't even acknowledge that I said anything.

"What?" Summer hisses.

I tap my chin. "Alright. New plan."

A dark hooded cloak with tattered ends rapidly covers my form, then a simple black and red mask with the design of a grinning face covers my own.

With a small twinge, my eye color changes to silver... I have gained none of the powers of the silver eyed warriors, only the cosmetic silvery glow-y eyes... and that took two of my currently ready lesser abilities.

Eight remain...

I let out a hum. "Alright, let's go save some people, then."

I turn and point to Kali. "You. I'm trusting you here. Watch Cinder."

"A-Alright." She nods as the rest of my group rapidly move around the cabin, opening storage spaces and grabbing their weapons.

Sadly, Kali's team has basically fallen apart... I don't really see them doing many missions together in the future... well, maybe... at least Willow won't be a fucking drunk in this timeline, so it could be possible that they reunite and go do some missions.

Team SABR quickly file into the back of the Mothertrucker/Battle Bus/Qrow Mobile/Home.

I look back to them all. "Now, you all might be wondering why I am doing this... and the reason is simple"

A clone dressed exactly like I am steps out of the mirror.

We both blink at each other.

"Maybe I should have done that before I put on this costume."

Clone me slowly nods, then with a smile he tears away the cloak, revealing the purple eyed form of base me.

The rest of S(A)BR look between us.

That took two lesser abilities.

"How long are you going to last?"

"probably four or five hours at least... and I'm probably around half as strong as you."

"So about on par with Vytal festival me?" I ask.

"Yeah yeah, maybe a bit stronger." He nods.

I turn to the group.

"Anyways, the plan is this: you three, along with... me..." I point over my shoulder to my clone. "While I, the original me, act like a masked silver eyed warrior that can create light weaponry."

"…"

"Why?" Summer blinks.

"Because I need lore."

"…"

"What?" Summer squeaks

""THE LORE, SUMMER!"" Me and my clone exclaim at the same time.

*CHZZ*

'hrm... Merlot has been busy...'

A THICC beowolf is cleaved in half, the inside of its mouth a strange teal-blue, the same with its eyes and stripes across its body, it was nearly twice the size of a normal Beowolf, and its head looks more like an ursa head than an actual beowolf head... it also has some sort of dust imbedded in its back... no kind I've seen before... I wonder what type it is... it's making these grimm emit a green smoke so maybe... poison? They are also yellow towards the base... so shock dust? Is that how he is controlling them? Shocking certain muscles to get them to move in certain ways?

Maybe it was a habit from before he joined up with Salem?

A scythe made of light and life energy slices off the legs of a nearby regular beowolf, causing it to fall.

The grimm broke through one of the outer walls... so now, I alone am trying my hardest to stop the swarms.

By myself.

The rest of the huntsmen are escorting people to the underground metro tunnels and getting them on trains.

I hold up a hand, then slowly a single arrow sized spear of life forms from my petty spam, then with a flick I send it hurtling towards a house-sized nevermore above, it sinks into the grimm's chest and knocks it out of the sky, its chest and lower neck rapidly decaying from the life energy coursing through it.

It lands with a crash somewhere behind me as it begins fully turning to smoke.

My scythe cleaves cleanly through the chest of an ursa and out its side.

I quickly weave through the waves of grimm, culling at least a good seventy percent of the stragglers with simple slashes and darts.

My ploy is to pretend to be an angel... who's race I am going to be writing into my murals once I am done with this.

Three white darts form in my offhand and are launched towards a set of three beowolves that got past me, sinking into the back of one's head, the spine, and one right in the ass, melting off the poor bastard's back legs.

The head of an ursa major lands next to me as its head is removed from its body.

This scythe cuts through them like they are made of Paper Mache... only pausing briefly on armor with a hiss... it's like I have a one-thousand-degree knife!

I hear a loud bellow and see a giant elephant grimm barrel through the gap in the wall, making it slightly larger as its shoulders bash into the edges of the walls.

"Goliath?" I mutter as with a twist I change my grip on the scythe into a reverse grip.

The blade straitens into a spear tip and with a spin I throw the spear at the large grimm with a loud *BOOM*

The blade crashes into its face mask, sinking at least a good four of five feet into it, causing the grimm to drop and slide to a halt in front of me, dead.

An arrow of light appears in my hand as I grab it, then it slowly begins growing as I kick an alpha beowolf right in the chest, it takes a good minute or two before it transforms into something that I would call a 'spear' of light, thus allowing me to use it once more as a weapon without risking its durability as I continue channeling petty divine abilities through it to make it continue growing.

Killing grimm like some sort of rip off Doomslayer is... fun.

The limbs of a nearby beowolf are sliced off, then it is killed by a quick stab through the chest.

I grab the arm of a nearby ursa as it swings down at me, the ground cracking slightly as I halt the blow, suddenly its arm starts rapidly decaying as I channel life energy into it.

I calmly punt it away as I stab a nearby boartusk

Another arrow tears through a nevermore that strayed too close.

'most people have made it to the station... fake me and the rest of SABR are helping evacuate people and killing any grimm I miss.'

I look down to see a deathstalker rapidly skittering towards me.

"Hrm."

I duck under its snapping pincer and with a swing of my spear, cleave it off at the elbow joint, then with a twirl I stab the spear right into the grimm's eye.

'these grimm are going to keep coming...'

I make a split decision and rush over to a nearby building, leaping off the backs of grimm as I land at the bottom.

With a slash I send the lightspear cleanly through the concrete wall.

I run along the building, cutting cleanly through the front wall of the five or six story building

I rush behind it and kick it, sending the building crumbling towards the wall as if it were a tree.

*CRASH*

The building covers the hole, blocking most larger grimm from entering, but quite a few are just climbing through the building's broken windows.

'alright, that's done, Glenn is mostly evacuated, and I'm out of lesser powers.'

I fling the spear over my shoulder, the construct of life energy sinking into an ursa major and killing it instantly.

I disappear into an alleyway and fall into a puddle.

"A-Alright... Asmodeus... a-are you ready for me to send people in that direction?"

"Yep." I hum through the flip scroll "It's completely finished... now I just need people to find it who won't immediately loot it... I mean, I set up golems that will get infused with life energy upon people fucking with anything valuable looking, soooo now you just need to get a scientific team in it."

"A-Alright... I-I'll see what I can do... did you leave any sort of ruins nearby but outdoors? T-that way I can use the excuse of sending researchers to look into those ruins.

"I did." I nod, not that she could see it.

"A-Alright, I'll send an exploration team, I l-love you."

I slowly blink disinterestedly for a moment until Summer elbows my ribs.

"Yeah, yeah, I love you too." I eventually sigh out from Summer's prodding.

I hang up.

"Summer." I deadpan. "Why?"

"She's carrying my half daughter. You have to be nice to her." She pouts.

"I fail to see how it's your half daughter... but sure." I frown. "Also, I don't know how you got me to agree to that."

She just pouts.

"And might I ask why you are doing this?" I growl.

"I want a family, Deus... a horde of adorable daughters that I can spoil to my heart's content!"

"You do realize that I'm ageless, right?"

She slowly blinks and nods.

"You do know that because I have the life domain, I could potentially extend your life, right?"

I get another nod.

"So why not wait, and hear me out here, for them all to be your kids... infinite life equals infinite babies."

"Because I want a family now." She answers in a tone as if she just granted me the secret of the universe.

I grab the bridge of my nose. "You are getting me to sleep with other women because you lack patience?"

She looks down at her stomach with a frown. "Do I look like I am getting fat to you?"

"Nope." I shake my head, stepping about the bomb of a question.

"hrm..." She hums.

'little shit avoiding my earlier question.' I internally snort with an eyeroll.

"Now, I have to go give my ancient ruin a once-over to make sure I didn't miss anything... I'll be in bed."

I turn and sit down on the corner of the bed, then I lay back and close my eyes.

My sight floats through an old cave full of stalactites, eventually reaching a door with three holes in the center, along with three rings that go around the circle, each with separate sections that have pictures on them.

Yes, I ripped off a Skyrim claw-door puzzle, what of it?

I also made a spooky skeleton holding the claw to its chest a while back in the cave system.

The claw is made out of just simple purple crystal, not a dust crystal or anything, just a gemstone... not amethyst of course, but something else... Sugilite I think it was? It's definitely a vibrant purple.

Anyways, I pass through the door and enter the 'inner chamber'… standing before me is a stone statue with reflective silver eyes holding a white crystal in its grasp... said crystal is condensed life energy, and is floating above its open palms.

I glance around the room, seeing six suits of armor with greatswords swords jabbed into the floor.

I look up to see the image of a large eye, purple crystal for the sclera, and just a silvery mirror for its pupil.

There are four large pillars holding up the roof, and on each are several torches that will ignite into vibrant purple flames shortly after the door is opened.

Along the walls is the real feature of this ruin... it tells a story in its colored tiled and chiseled stone.

The first shows dragons, a blackish purple one that was based upon a western dragon, and another, a yellow gold one with a long body, they create Remnant as a whole, the plants, the grimm... magic... then finally... the people.

It skips ahead to a womanly figure bowed before the god of light with a man laying down behind her, then the same image but to the god of darkness who flicks magic at the man and causes him to stand, then the god of light shows up, kills the man, and tosses the woman into a golden lake, when she emerges it cuts to a new scene where she repeatedly tries to kill herself, then to her recruiting people to strike against the gods.

The next shows an army before the twin gods... then a beam of purple surrounds the dark god...

Killing everyone and causing colored crystal to sprout from the ground in many locations.

The gods then disappear into space, taking a moment to destroy the moon on their way.

Then something different happens... a new figure, a purple man with two silver dots on its head to signify eyes, that figure falls literally out of a tear in reality.

He wonders around the planet, looking for any sort of life, coming across destroyed keeps, villages, and towns... all abandoned.

The only life remaining being the grimm who attack him at every chance they get.

It appears the one day, he simply has enough, and creates new life with a white crystal... a woman with four black wings, silver eyes, and blond hair, then he creates another, this one with six and black hair, then another, this one with ten wings and white hair, these figures decimate the surrounding grimm with their light spears, then, one day, he creates a group of humans, these humans built themselves a city, protected from the grimm by the angelic figures...

Soon enough, another group of sentient life spring into existence, this time, each with an animal trait...

But something is wrong... the first figure is no longer seen as a purple figure... and now is grey, with nothing more than a purple outline, he looks to his hands, then across the world, he slowly floats up, towards the sky.

He disappears.

Next the moon is shown with a small purple glow, and thus the last of the story, a god on the moon, waiting for his powers to return...

'eh, that should be good, right? If they beat the animated armors, they get a life dust crystal about the width and length of my forearm.'

They could probably do a lot with this... make Penny earlier, make an ultimate anti-grimm weapon, revolutionize medicine, hell, maybe even play god and create some sort of creepy hybrid I'd have to murder.

I let out a long sigh and return my vision to my body, I look left to see Summer sleeping to my left, and I can hear the quiet sounds of Kali and Raven conversing in the kitchen/living room/driver's seat area.

Cinder's sleeping peacefully in the small bed next to my own, and Qrow is... sleeping in the closet/mirror room for some reason.

All is calm... all is peaceful... I'm probably going to fucking ascend because I realize just how much faith worshipers give me.

A single person is worth one hundred faith...

I'm expecting to get at LEAST maybe five hundred people or so to worship me with this little ruin... maybe more... and that's Fifty THOUSAND faith... literally half of the miracle bonus I got from punching the Midgard serpent.

I have a rough estimation that there's around maybe... ten million to one hundred million people on Remnant... that's anywhere from one billion to ten billion faith if I can get them all to worship me...

'system... what would you say the divine rank of the brothers are?'

Remnant's perception upon them during their last moments on the planet placed them as such:

The Lesser Brother, God of Darkness

Erased all of magic and humanity from the world, crippling the planet forevermore

Divine rank 279

The elder brother, the god of Light

Allowed the removal of humanity, cursed a mourning woman to never die

Divine rank 316

My eyebrow quirks slightly. 'that seems... a little low...'

The twin gods worked together to achieve the creation of the planet and humanity, otherwise, they aren't much stronger than most other intermediate deities.

'ah, oh well.' I mentally sigh with a small headshake before laying back down fully. 'I guess I'll just see what happens in the morning.'

Just gonna hurry and get this out to you all so I can go to bed.

I hope you are all still enjoying this and I want to know what you think of this chapter.

Also, a question: Eventual crossover, Yay or Nay

Guest reviews:

Reader 451: That realization will haunt good ol Deus for as long as he lives... Which is forever due to pseudo immortality.

PersonMcPerson: Pfft nah, Salem is still a bit too unhinged to be a true waifu, maybe give her 100 or so years or relaxation to mellow out. As for 'responsible Zues' bit... eh, I mean, it's sort of hard to not be more responsible than Zues... dude probably has more kids than I have brain cells... I mean, he definitely has more than three kids, right?

AL: Just wait till Deus revives her family as a christmas present one day in the far future~ that'd be wacky.
And no, I use roll20, and I haven't figured out a macro to make me roll only natural 20s yet... sad times ahead. You seriously thought I MET people?! Who the hell do you think you're talking to! I'm the guy who hopes to die so he doesn't have to finish the 3 question homework assignment he has... I'm much too lazy to go elsewhere.

I'll see you all whenever I decide to post another chapter~
