Felipe's POV:
Right after Daniel inherited me the nexus...and the other scarlet macaws came back...they...they told me that, it had been Mary...that it had been my best and only friend's mom...that, she had been the monster, who betrayed her best friend, and killed my adoptive dad...my family...my, only family since I was born...I was really never accepted by other birds of my age since I was a bit heavy with them, and I usually used to hurt their feelings or even them...but, I didn't do it intentionally, that, was just my way of being...and, I really tried to change but, I simply couldn't...that was who I was, that was my personality, my way of being...and, no one tolerated me...so, basically the only two birds who loved me and I loved back were, Daniel...my adoptive father, that I didn't care if he was adoptive I saw him as my real one dad, who, supported me, trained me, thought me about life...and, Jewel, my best friend...my, only friend...I loved her so much, she meant very much to me since I could be who I truly was without any fear of her stop talking to me, and, I don't know if that was wrong or right but, honestly I don't care, I loved my friendship with her...and, then, that day I, simply...didn't get it...I lost the only two macaws who truly meant something to me in just a second...I lost my dad...and, I lost my best friend's trust...I know it may sound weird but, you need to understand me, Daniel and Jewel were the only two birds I ever got along well with in my life, I trusted them sooo much, I was happy with their company, and then all of a sudden, poof, my dad died, and the other scarlet macaws just told me it had been Mary, Jewel's mother who had killed him...h-how would you feel? Because...I just, felt confused and, sad and, angry and, CONFUSED basically! And, then the whole tribes rivalry situation began, so I could never talk to Jewel, but I really didn't want but at the same time I wanted to know if it was true, but, well what do you want me to tell you?! My brain simply was a mixture of ideas and questions...and it was like that for all thse last years, since that occurred, my brain was just a simple mixture and it seriously was killing me in confusion! ...But well, now that I know the truth, the TRUE truth, I learnt two important lessons...the first one...NEVER, arrive to conclusions if you don't truly know what happened for real...and second...never act by impulse...those macaws that killed Mary acted by impulse and killed her without hesitation...and, I was going to do the same thing to Jewel that day we fought...good thing that it didn't happen because, if it did, well, I simply couldn't have resisted life anymore...but well, since now I know those two important lessons, I swear that I'll do my best to turn into a better bird...and that I won't commit those mistakes EVER again in my life...

Wow, I don't know you but, in my opinion this last detail was a very noticable evolution of Felipe :3 (and actually it was something that I didn't have planned from the beginning, it was something I added at the last moment, and I don't regret it, good thing I added that detail since I consider it important for Felipe's character, and also because I think it allows you a bit more to empathize and understand his point of view a bit more :b). Ahem well so? What do you think about the chapter? Did you expect something like that to happen about Mary and Daniel? Did you like it or are you disappointed? Because let me tell you that if you are disappointed cuz you expected another thing, is, kind of what I wanted, because the point was to get you a bit into Jewel and Felipe's perspective, that they basically didn't know ANYTHING of what truly happened, and they only had FAKE speculations, and at the end it wasn't what they truly expected so, yea :b. Also if you are wondering, basically that´s why Mary´s death is very traumatic to Eduardo and Jewel, since they saw her in that state :/. Well and, last fun fact, this chapter was originally going to be the one titled as "Felipe", but I changed it because I thought that these titles of chapter 17 and this one ("The truth?" and "The true truth") would give it a little bit more of suspense uwu.
