Chapter 17 - Infantino Steet

Sarah's P.O.V.

I was laying in bed, facing the roof next to Barry. It's now 24 hours till Savitar kills me.

Sara" Barry said my name.

I sighed before laying on my side facing towards him

You know what I'd love right now?" I asked Barry while smiling

Anything you want" Barry told me.

A cheeseburger" I told Barry who looked at me.

A cheeseburger? Okay. Well, it's just a little late, so it might be hard for me to find a place. that's open that has it." Barry tells me.

Big Belly Burger" I said to Barry while I pouted my lips.

Just stay with me, okay? The whole team working on this. And we can accomplish a lot in 24 hours." Barry said

I know we can. I'm fine, Barry. Really." I told him before he kissed me.

Barry got out of bed, grabbed his watched and raced off to Big Belly Burger. While I crawled over to Barry's side of the bed and grabbed his phone and pressed record.

Hi, Barry. Um... there's something that I need to say to you. I love you. And if something happened, I need you to hear this. I, Sarah Estelle Snow, take you, Bartholomew Henry Allen, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To have and to hold from this day forward. In sickness and in health. To love and to cherish. Until death do us part."

During the morning I was putting on a jacket while Barry was on the phone to Cisco.

Hey, Cisco. What? Where? All right, I'll come pick you up." Barry said before hanging up."

What is it?" I asked Barry

Lyla. Hey." Barry said to her as him, Cisco and I arrive at ARGUS to meet up with Lyla.

Gentlemen. Sarah." She said when we walked up to her

It's a wee bit chilly. Wanna take this inside?" Cisco asked Lyla

Every squared inch of that building is bugged Figured it was better to talk out here." Lyla informed us

Yeah, I love the breeze on days like this" I said while I held Barry's hand

So, I got your message. But you're gonna have to run me through exactly what you need again" Lyla told the three of us

So, we're building a cannon... Bazooka... thing. It's a sort of trap." Cisco began to say

In order to turn it on, we need something to power it. Something extremely powerful and regenerative." Barry informed her

Okay," She told the guys

Yeah, so I tasked our satellite to look for anything that might have our specific power requirements, and... wouldn't you know it... we found something that has exactly what we need. And it's right there in that building. Crazy. huh?" Cisco explained to Lyla

I really don't think you should be spying on me, Cisco" Lyla told him

Is it spying if we're friends?"

But he's right, isn't he? You have something, don't you?" I asked Lyla

It's a piece of the Dominators' technology. We got it from the ship that crashed in Central City. " Lyla announced making us all happy

That's great" Barry said to her

You can't have it, Barry" Lyla told him

Lyla we've searched everywhere. This tech is the only thing that we can use. " Cisco tried telling her

I can't do it" Lyla replied.

Is this because of baby Sara?" Barry asked Lyla

Look... I'll admit, it's been hard not to wonder what it would have been like to have a daughter instead of a son, but this is less about what happened then why it happened." Lyla said

I made a big mistake" Barry stated

Exactly my concern. Barry, this is the kind of tech that wars are fought over. If something happens and it gets into the wrong hands, people could die. Million. And frankly, I don't know if I can trust you to have it. " Lyla said before she starts walking away.

Lyla, if we don't use this, Sarah is going to die. Tonight" Barry announced as Lyla looked at me.

I'm sorry, Barry. I can't help you this time. You'll have to find another way."

Are you serious?" Joe asked Barry as everyone was in the Cortex

Yeah. Yeah, if Lyla won't let us have the Dominators' tech, then we are gonna break into ARGUS. and we're gonna steal it. Wally and I will phase through the walls. We'll be in and out of there before anyone even gets off a shot" Barry told everyone

Uh, hello? No, you won't." Cisco said

What is that?" HR asked Cisco as he points to the computer screen

That is a meta human power dampener. And it's all over the building, so you can't use your powers inside. " Cisco informed Barry

Can we use anything else to power this Speed Force gun?" Joe asked

Speed Force bazooka" HR corrected

Nothing else. Manipulating extra dimensional energy requires, well, a ridiculous of energy, and the Dominator tech's the only thing that can do that. " Cisco explained to Joe

Hey, I have... I have an idea, gang. What if we just put you... put Ash on a plane to Paris or somewhere far away?" HR suggested

There's nowhere on Earth that Savitar wouldn't find her. Guys. Stealing this Dominators' tech is our only option, all right?" Barry said

Barry. ARGUS is more secure than the pentagon. If your powers don't work in there, how are you gonna get past security?" I asked him

Okay. This is what we're dealing with: surveillance cameras. Eye scans. Palm prints. Heat sensors. Laser sensors. " Cisco listed

They really though of everything, didn't they?" HR mumbled

That's just the first floor" Cisco finished his sentence.

So, you're saying this is most fortified structure in the history of fortified structures, they can't use their superpowers, and we have less then 14 hours to steal the thing" Joe said

And none of us are master thieves." I added.

No. No, we're not"

Barry has been out for a while and left me in to the Cortex with everyone else. I sighed as I looked at the clock.

I know we don't have a plane. We steal a plane, okay? We'll put it back. All right? And we parachute out of the plane, and land on the roof... gotta land on the right roof, all right? And then right down the air ducts. Mission: Improbable style. Easy." HR explained to Cisco

Easy? What about the counter terrorism missiles?" Cisco questioned

Hello, Joe! Cisco, Iris. Sarah! Love the ice and the look. Sparkly." Snart said as he walked into the Cortex with Barry.

Snart, what the hell are you doing here?" Joe asked

Snart's gonna help me break into ARGUS get the power source." Barry informed all of us

I can see you all have a lotto talk about. I'll be down in your lab, getting everything ready. " Snart said while we walked out of the Cortex

Barry, are you out of your mind?" I asked him while I walked up to him

I thought he was with the Legends" Joe said

He is" Barry said back

No, he dead." Cisco corrected him

You time traveled again? That's what got us in this mess in the first place." Iris told Barry

I thought you said you would never do that again" I told Barry while he looks at me

I also said I would do whatever it takes to save you. That hasn't changed. And I'm pretty sure you all feel the same way, too. Right? Look. I'm not changing time. I will put him back, right where I found him. After we get what we need." Barry announced

Fine. You say we need Snart's help, we need his help. So what's the plan?"

My guess is the power source is most likely here." Snart said wile pointing the bottom of the map.

Why there?" Joe asked

Because it's the deepest part of the facility, and if it's a valuable as you say it is, then the deepest recesses of any facility are usually the most secure." Snart explained

Hm. Smart, Snart" Cisco said before laughing then stopped as we weren't laughing. " I'm gonna keep hackin' away and find out for sure" He said while he left the Speed Lab

Do you have any idea what else might be down there?" Barry asked Snart

Don't matter. There are only four rules you need to remember. Make the plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails... throw away the plan. Follow my lead and you'll be fine." Snart informed us

We all are" I added

Just don't sit me at the single's table at the wedding reception." Snart said making us laugh.

Just out of curiosity, you have a plan for getting in there?" Joe asked Barry

I've got that covered." Barry said before we saw Tracy and HR enter the Speed Lab

Oh, ah... here, hold that for a second. Yeah, okay. Just don't look." HR said as he covered Tracy's eyes. Hey, Flash. Superhero. Cowl on please? We got civilians in the house."

It's okay. HR, we're trusting Tracy with out lives. We can trust her with this" Barry said while walking up to HR.

Good point. I'll put my hands down now" HR said before he put his hands down so Tracy could see.

Oh! Totally should've figured that out." Tracy said while we all smile

Well, carry on" HR said as him and Tracy leave.

All right, Joe, Iris. I need you to take Sara some place at away from here. Far away from me." Barry tells them two

Barry" I tried to say

I can't know where. If I know, then Savitar knows. " Barry said to me

We'll get Wally. We'll keep her safe, don't worry." Joe said to Barry as him and Iris leave so it's just Barry and I.

So here we are" I said while I shrugged my shoulders.

This is not goodbye, Sara," Barry tells me

Yeah" I said before I put my arms around his neck. " Look I know you're gonna do whatever it takes to save me, but don't lose yourself in the process, okay?"

Okay" Barry said before kissing me before I walked out

Iris, Joe, Wally and I made a decision to go to Earth-2. So Wally made a breach, we walked in and arrived at Earth-2.

Hello" I heard a familiar voice.

Hey, Harry" I smiled towards him

Kid, Joe, Iris. Sarah. What brings you folk to this section of the multiverse?" Harry said

I used to watch you do that as a kid. I thought you were so cool." Iris said to Joe as he was cleaning his gun while she came over and sat next to me.

What's I tell you? Guns aren't cool, they're just for protection" Joe corrected

Joe, look, I know this is hard for everyone, but I feel like it's hardest for you.. Joe, can I tell you something?" I asked Joe

Since my father left, you have been the closest thing to a father than anyone I've ever known. And I want to say thanks for being there." I smiled to Joe making him smile.

Hey, dad, what was that song you used to sing all the time?" Iris asked Joe

You don't remember?" Joe questioned

I don't remember" Iris smiled

What Does It Take' " Joe said before we all got up while Joe started singing

We all laughed and we pulled in for a hug.

I love you, two" Joe said to Iris and I.

We love you too, dad." Iris said before I pulled out of the hug then slowly pulled off my wedding ring off of my finger and passed it to Iris.

Take this for me, please. Just in case. Make sure you give it back to Barry" I told her

Okay." Iris said before hugging me
