Chapter Fifteen: Fuzzy Feelings
Emma was happy as one could possibly be. Things were going amazing with Regina. She couldn't be happier about it. She had a girlfriend, a girlfriend she was crazy about. Every minute spent with Regina only served to make Emma fall more and more for her. She never thought it was possible for someone to feel this way about another. She never thought that would happen to her. Not really. She didn't even know she wanted something like this with another person until she first laid eyes on Regina. How lucky was she? Emma couldn't even begin to comprehend it herself.
Which was why Emma was in a hurry driving to the stables, to see Regina. Emma had called her earlier to make a lunch date. Regina had told her she would love to, but she was working and couldn't make it to town. So, Emma had the brilliant idea of including the stables with her rounds. Was it too far from the city? A little. But, it was in Storybrooke and so, covered by the Sheriff's department, and so, Emma combined her lunch break with her rounds and decided to go see Regina.
Emma parked her cruiser, picking up the bag from Granny's before leaving the car. She walked to Regina's office and was surprised to see that she wasn't there. She asked one of the staff and she was told Regina was with the new guy in the training area. Emma was bothered by the way the woman said 'new guy' but she put it past her and kept on her journey to find Regina. She found her exactly where the girl told her she was, and Emma couldn't help but frown at the way the guy was standing next to Regina. He had his arm on her lower back, his hand to low for her linking, making her smile while they were patting a horse. Emma walked faster towards Regina determined to have the man as far away from her as possible.
"Hey," Emma said as she got closer to them.
"Emma, hi," Regina said greeting her.
"You weren't in your office" Emma kissed her on the lips, "A girl told me you were here"
"Yes, I was showing Robin the training area and our new horses," Regina said standing beside Emma "Emma, this is Robin" Regina introduced them.
"Hi there," Emma said outreaching her hand
"Milady," He said shaking her hand.
Milady? Who the hell talks like that? Emma thought. He was better not be using that ridiculous pick up on Regina. She was taken. Well damn taken. Emma gave him a smile that didn't reach her eyes and said:
"It's nice to meet you, Robin. If will excuse me, I need to take my girlfriend away now"
"Of course"
Emma intercalated her hands with Regina who gave Robin a few more instructions before walking away with her. They reached Regina's office and Emma settled the bag with their food on the desk before pulling Regina to her arms and give her a kiss. She wrapped her in her arms tightly, kissing her with all that she had. When Regina's tongue invaded her mouth Emma was lost. Their kiss became a little bit more aggressive as Regina took complete control of it, making Emma moan in her mouth. Regina's hand made their way down Emma's back, grabbing a handful of her ass, squeezing it so hard that Emma gasped.
"Hi there," Emma said when they broke apart

"So, did you miss me?"
"What you think?" Regina winked at her. "How long do you have?"

"Really?"

Regina laughed wholeheartedly and moved to open the bag from Granny's. She was genuinely surprised when she saw that Emma had brought her a salad and the green juice she was so fond of.
"I don't know how you drink this thing," Emma said
"It's good for you"
"It's green"
"That's how you know its good for you," Regina said taking her chicken salad and sitting down on the chair.
Emma sat down on the chair in front of Regina and took her sandwich out of the bag.
"So, that's Robin guy," Emma said
"What about him?"
"He's a little too handsy, don't you think?"
"What are you talking about?"
"He had his arm around your waist, and his hand was almost touching your ass"
"Oh, that. The horse we were patting, his a little aggressive. He had just tried to kick us. I lost balance and Robin got me before I felt"
"Oh. Well, still. I mean, there is no need for that much of touching"
"Are you jealous?"
"Of that guy?No!"

"Im not jealous, I just don't like him touching you that way, that's all"
"Well, I told you what happened"
"I know"
"Is everything okay?" Regina asked
"Yep! All good" Emma said with a smile
They continued to eat their lunch with light conversation. Regina was trying to convince Emma to have riding classes but Emma kept making excuses not to. It was one thing to ride a horse with Regina right behind her, but it was another whole together making a fool of herself alone in front of Regina.
"What time are you leaving today?" Emma asked
"Around five"
"I didn't see your car in the parking lot"
"Yes, I took a cab here. My car wouldn't start this morning"
"Oh. Well, I'm off at five. If you don't mind waiting a bit I'll come and pick you up"
"Oh, Emma! You don't have to do that"
"I know I don't. I want to. Call it the girlfriend experience" Emma said with a wink
"Well, I do like the sound of that. What else does this….experience provides?"
"Let me come and pick you up and later I'll show you"
"You got yourself a deal, Miss Swan"
Emma's phone rang and Emma sighed when she saw it was David calling. She knew she needed to be back at the station but she really, really wasn't in the mood to. She answered the phone and told er deputy she was just finishing the rounds and that she would be back in a few minutes.
"I have to go," Emma said getting u from her chair "I'll come to pick you up later, okay?"
"Okay," Regina said getting up as well.
Regina walked Emma to the door and gave her a kiss. Emma left the office with that warm feeling on her belly that only came to her after seen Regina. She went inside the Sheriff's cruiser and drove back to the station. She did her best not to think about the Robin guy, but, truth be told, she was a little jealous. She didn't like the way he was touching Regina. And it wasn't just the touch, it was the way he was smiling at her, it made Emma feel uncomfortable. She was the one who was supposed to make Regina smile like that. Emma shooked the thoughts out of her mind and focused on work. She was actually grateful for all the paperwork as it provided a distraction.
"Hey, Emma" David said, "Do you have the file from Ruby's arrest?"
"Oh, yeah, I didn't file that. I tossed it out"
"What?"
"It was nothing, David. There was no reason to file it and put it on her record"
"Emma, you can just decide what cases you will process and what you won't"
"What exactly are you saying, deputy?"
"I know Ruby is your friend, she's my friend too, but, she started a fight and damage private property"
"Are they suing her for that?"
"Not that I know of"
"Then what is the problem?"
"The problem is that it isn't the first time she does that and we can just keep letting her get away with it"
"Look, don't worry about it, okay? I'll go down the rabbit hole and work out a deal for her. I'll fix this"
"Okay, but next time…"
"Next time, if there is one, we do what we have to do"
"Okay. My shift is over, so, I'm gonna get going"
"Alright. I'll see you later"
Emma went back to work annoyed by David's accusation. For a moment she felt like the male gender of Storybrooke took the day off only to piss her.
"Are you going to let me go too, Sister?" A voice asked behind her
"You know I won't, Leroy"
"Why? Because I don't have boobs?
"Shut up, Leroy"
Yep! The men of the town had definitely taken the day off just to piss her off. Emma dove back to work, hoping the hours would pass faster for her to go pick up Regina. She needed to see her again. Her day always got better the moment they were together. The clock ticked by and before Emma notice it was time to go. She gathered her things and opened Leroy's cell letting him go. She drove to the stables and immediately relaxed at the sight of Regina waiting for her in the parking lot. Regina let herself inside the bug and kissed Emma's cheek hello. Emma's heart immediately filled with that familiar warmth only Regina could provide. Emma drove to the manor, holding Regina's hand the whole way there, listening to her talking about the rest of the day, and about this cute who was taking lessons.
Once in the manor, they both worked together in the kitchen making dinner. Emma chopped and Regina cooked. It was sort of like their unspoken agreement. One that Emma dearly loved. She felt so domesticated doing this sort of thing with Regina. She certainly never done it before and Emma realized that she actually liked it. Regina had made them a beautiful delicious dinner that they ate with a glass of Regina's cider that was just as good. After dinner, Emma started to clean while Regina kept kissing her neck and grabbing her ass making it impossible for Emma to focus on what she was doing. They moved their activities to the bedroom and Emma realized that as much as she liked the domesticated version of herself, this was the part she liked the most.
"So…" Emma said pushing Regina's blouse above her head "Did you miss me?"
"I believe I already answered that," Regina said kissing her neck
