Rest and relaxation. A pair of words the Helltaker would have never thought would suit one of demonic ladies who now resided in his house. Last night had been ... a bizarre experience to say the least.

Pandemonica's arms encircled the puffy body of the lengthy velvet pillow to her figure as her legs had a firm grip on it as well. Her fatigue felt nonexistent. Abstract. What an amazing feeling she solemnly felt.

Next to to her was the man she had just spent last night, his back straight against the bed's wooden frame shirtless, and if memory served her right he was exposed in his lower regions as well had it not been for the blanket he covered his other region with.

"What?" Her eyebrow furrowed in annoyance he face her figure

"You seem relaxed"

"Mmhhmm" She mumbled into her pillow, allowing her eyelids fall as she felt sleep call to her once more.

Guess I'll have a go at the shower." He slowly moved his way out of the bed shifting the bedding making his attempt of standing obvious to the Pandemonica.

"Eurgh!" He immediately responded as he felt a strong whip latch onto his arm.

"Stand and I'll crush your arm." She had her tail whipped around his arms.

She hugged on his skin like he was a warm compress as her forehead brushed against the side of his chest.

"Don't get ahead of yourself." She voiced dangerously, as she then pressed her cheek against his chest.

"Ah ... understood." He replied, still mildly surprised of how clingy she had become with skin contact. or maybe it was because of how skin contact can relieve the feeling of being tired. Either way he wasn't complaining, having a voluptuously naked Demonic secretary share skin contact in bed was the opposite of a bad thing.

"Ask away."

"What?"

"You look liked you had something on your mind. Best let it out while we're here." She answered professionally, like a secretary addressing a new resident of hell of what circle they'd be residing in.

"Read my mind." He admitted.

"Your confused expression to be precise, make with it." She stated flawlessly.

"Promise me you won't crush any part of me." He attempted to ease the blows of sharp pain he knew she would undoubtedly inflict.

"No." She replied in nonchalant fashion, never one to hold back on inflicting pain. The special type that stimulated.

"Figures." He replied plainly in defeat, his aptitude in persuasion was never in his highlights of skills. "Last night." He added as he voiced it in a way that made it seem like it was a revelation.

"Yes? What about it?" She asked, slowly rising from the bed as she sat. Her eyes looking at him like he was a lost soul with no direction in the conversation.

"..." He gave her a look that could be summarized as the nonverbal way of saying "Really?"

Didn't you have a question She stated nonchalantly, oblivious to the Helltaker's implications.

"I'm sure you're aware of it too." He finally voiced out.

"I have no idea of what you're talking about." She waved off like he was the most incompetent being of all existence. Her eyes refusing to meet his gaze, as a tinge of red creeped its way into her features.

"Pandemonica."

"You and your foolish assumptions, just because we've shared a night means I'm entitled answer your questions." She mocked with a teasing voice as she sat up from the bed, although there was a part of her voice that implied a different emotion.

"Uhm Pandemonica."

"W-What is it now?" She asked annoyed mid-stretch,

Y"our tail ... it seems kind of ..."

"A-ah w-what?!"

The said arrow-tipped tail moved in excitement, something she had not seen in a very long time. What was it Zdrada said about how a Demon's tail can reflect restrained emotion. Seems like a talk would be needed later at the house, with some deserving punishment as well.

"Heh seems like there is something you're hiding." He noted with confidence, seeing Pandemonica's blushing expression.

"So resolved on figuring it out?" She straddled his figure with unmatched strength as both of hers hands snaked up to the nape of his neck

"Not as much anymore." He answered as he felt her supple weight onto his lap.

"Good answer." A teasing smile appeared on her features.

"So ... wanna have another round before we go" He offered taking into account their current position.

"You know very well how much I'd sleep after that."

"I see no problem with that." He gave a solid grin, aware of what was next to come.

"Very well, just know there's something I've been meaning to try."

Her tail held the bag of coffee beans they had picked up yesterday.

"For being such a troublesome partner." She ate a coffee bean as she closed her eyes, relishing the taste. "Understood?" She opened her eyes revealing her sharp pupils alongside with her features with that of the Sadistic Demon.

Author's Note: Heyo! (5x) Oh wow I did not expect the amount of support to ramp up during my temporary leave from this site due to ... academic reasons. Well with the reason for my absence out of the way I would have never expected to see us reach around 90 followers (damn was that a welcome surprise!) alongside some very generous comments on the story!

My apologies and my thanks for telling me of my mistake, thanks to you I've managed to correct that mistake by revisiting all the previous chapters that omitted them. In regards with the POV, that is something I indeed have to improve on - it's became a habit of swapping perspective on the fly without giving indication. Also in terms on the story being rushed ... yeah I won't argue with you on that, taking into account all the material I can work on means uhm .. suffice to say that I fail at finding ways to make them longer for the benefit of most. As always you have my thanks!
