Due to their upcoming festival, the teachers and the students spent their nights in the school. Even Natsu and Lucy had to work until dawn. They had only rested for a few hours before the festival began.

"I look like a panda." Levy sighed as she stared at her own reflection in the mirror. "Now Gajeel wouldn't even ask me to dance!"

"You're still cute as usual, Levy-chan." Lucy chuckled.

"Of course not, Lu-chan! Look at these horrible black round eyes!" Levy sighed.

"Work your magic on her, Luce." Natsu laughed as he sat down beside his wife. "But for now, let's have our breakfast."

"Where's mine?" Levy asked.

"Here you go." Gray sat down beside Levy and placed down a boxed bento in front of her.

"Oh, this is heaven!" Levy cried as she stared down at her meal. "I really need some broiled mackerel right now."

"Here's yours." Natsu gave Lucy hers.

"Thanks, you both are a life saver."

They opened their bentos and started munching down their breakfasts. There were only two hours left before the festival started. Once the festival started, they had to go to their posts and they only had two hours of rest during lunch time.

"I missed festivals like this." Levy said as she munched down her food. "I still remember all those sleepless nights we had to prepare for the festivals."

"I thought the teachers had it easy, since the students were the ones who were preparing for the festivals." Gray snorted. "Man, am I wrong."

Levy chuckled. "Talk about having a same thought."

"By the way, we'll be having a long weekend next week." Gray said. "Do you have any plans?"

"Just ask me directly, Gray." Levy chuckled. "These two must have a plan already."

Gray smirked and looked at Levy. "Yep. Sorry."

"Hey, don't ignore us!" Natsu protested.

"Why bother asking you, anyway?" Gray grinned.

"Will you go somewhere, Lu-chan?" Levy asked.

Lucy nodded. "It has been awhile since the last time we have our vacation outside of the city."

"Are you going somewhere far?" Levy asked.

"Not that far, but not that close either." Lucy laughed. "Do you know about Warrod Sequen's Garden Heaven, Levy-chan?"

"Ah, the one that has just opened earlier this month?" Levy asked which Lucy replied with a nod.

"You're having your second honeymoon, eh?" Gray wiggled his eyebrows.

Natsu smirked. "Sort of. It's our wedding monthversary next week."

"You're celebrating your wedding every month?" Gray asked in disbelieve.

"Aww, you're so romantic, Natsu!" Levy squealed.

"Of course not!" Lucy said while slightly blushed. "Next week is our sixth month of our marriage, that's why we're celebrating it."

"Who knew you can be so sweet?" Gray fisted Natsu's arm lightly.

"I wish Gajeel is as sweet as that!" Levy sighed contentedly.

"Every guy has their own sweet points, Levy-chan." Lucy laughed.

"Alright, I won't disturb you next week, Lu-chan." Levy grinned. "But don't forget about your protection!"

"She's safe." Natsu said and Lucy slapped the back of his head out of embarrassment.

"Wow, you're even following her fertile days?" Gray asked.

"Duh." Natsu blatantly said. "Gotta be careful."

"Natsu!" Lucy complained.

"Ah, I wish we can spend our summer holiday together!" Levy munched her mackerel. "But now that we are teachers, we can't do that because of our make-up classes."

"Alright, you four, stop chatting and finish your meal." Laxus suddenly popped out. "The festival is going to start soon."

"Ah, crap!" Natsu and Gray quickly gobbled up their meal.

The festival started and all the teachers went to their respective posts. Natsu decided to take his wife and their friends to Lisanna's class's café and ate their lunch there. They only had two hours to eat and Natsu clearly didn't want to go alone. The festival went well and without anyone realizing it, the lunch time came.

"Natsu, let's switch!" Max—the art teacher—came to Natsu's post.

"Thanks, Max." Natsu said and gave his band to Max. Natsu left his post and his eyes saw his wife who was coming towards him.

"You've switched?" Lucy asked as Natsu ran up to her.

"Yeah. Where are Gray and Levy?" Natsu asked.

"They're going to inform their partners first and told me to meet them in front of Lisanna's class." Lucy said.

Natsu nodded and sneakily took Lucy's hand into his. "'Kay, let's go."

Lisanna's class was packed with people by the time they got there.

"Natsu-sensei!" Lisanna waved her hand when her eyes caught Natsu. "Over here!"

Natsu and the others made their way to Lisanna and she guided them to their reserved seat. Lisanna was so happy Natsu came to her class that she didn't even mind on the fact that he brought his own companies rather than coming alone.

"Wow, you look so cute in that outfit, Lisanna!" Levy praised as she sat down.

A faint blush crept into Lisanna's cheek. "Thank you for the compliment, Levy-sensei." Well, she was indeed hoping she could steal Natsu's attention while wearing the pink maid outfit. A big bow adorned the back and the color did compliment Lisanna's white hair so much.

"What should we order?" Natsu said as he opened the menu in front of him and Lucy.

Lisanna was slightly taken aback by the fact that Natsu didn't even compliment her a bit, but she swallowed down her disappointment. She knew just how strict Natsu saw her as his student only and she steeled herself not to force herself on him.

"What would you recommend, Lisanna?" Levy asked.

"Ah… Our curry rice tasted delicious, Levy-sensei!" Lisanna let out a smile.

"Then… One curry rice for me." Levy ordered.

"Same as Levy." Gray said.

"I'll have one omurice." Lucy ordered. "What about you Natsu?"

"Hmm… I'll have omurice as well." Natsu ordered. "What do you want to drink, Luce? Ice tea?"

"A cold lemon tea sounds perfect." Lucy agreed.

"How about you two?" Natsu asked Levy and Gray who sat in front of him. They nodded back to him and Natsu looked back at Lisanna which made her heart skipped a beat. "Then four ice lemon tea."

"Okay," Lisanna mumbled as she scribbled down on her notes. "so… Two curry rice, two omurice, and four ice lemon tea."

They nodded back at her and Lisanna let out her best smile although she could feel her blush on her cheeks when she looked at Natsu. "Please wait for a while, then."

She then scurried back to the kitchen.

"Ah, a typical teenage in love." Levy giggled. "She's so cute."

"What does she see from Natsu, anyway?" Gray scoffed.

"Ohoo… Are you jealous?" Natsu smirked.

"Yeah, right." Gray rolled his eyes.

While the four of them chatted, Lisanna peeked her head through from the kitchen and had her share of staring at Natsu. She sighed in content and blushed heavily upon seeing his laugh. Her heart raced when she heard his low voice. Even though the class-café was packed with a lot of people, but Lisanna could see and hear Natsu clearly.

"Lisanna, aren't you going to cook?" Wendy suddenly popped beside her. "I thought you're going to cook for Natsu-sensei?"

"I've made his omurice." Lisanna said back while keeping her stare on Natsu and didn't even spare a glance at Wendy.

"What about the others?" Wendy asked confusedly.

"Sherria is cooking it." Lisanna replied.

Wendy sighed and shook her head lightly at her love-struck friend. She then returned back to the kitchen to help Sherria making Natsu's group's orders.

Just then, Lisanna's breath hitched and she widened her eyes a bit upon seeing Natsu's hand patting Lucy's head softly. Lucy let him be, and neither Gray nor Levy complained. Lisanna blinked and it took her another few seconds to be convinced of what she was seeing.

Is that even a normal thing to do between childhood friends? In front of so many people?

And it wasn't just that. Natsu's gesture looked so natural and fluent, like he had been doing that for a long time. Apart from patting her head, his hand also gently rubbed it and even caressed her hair absentmindedly. It looked like a habit of his.

While Lisanna was questioning what she saw inwardly, her breath spontaneously choked when she saw Natsu turned his head around to face Lucy. It wasn't the gesture that made her breath choked, it was his eyes. The way his eyes looked at her… Anyone could see it clearly if they paid attention to it. It wasn't the look of a childhood friend, it was the look of a lover. His gaze on her looked so gentle and loving. It was as if she was his whole world.

Pain struck Lisanna's heart sharply and she couldn't hold her tears from forming. No wonder Natsu didn't bat an eye on her whenever she tried to steal his attention. Why would he when he was paying his whole attention to someone else? Now, Lisanna knew who was the lucky woman Natsu loved. Who had his heart from the beginning and made it impossible for her to steal it away.

It's Lucy.
