In the ruins of the Republic City Police Station, Naruto was with Mako, Bolin, Sasuke, and Korra. They were looking for files on Samoda. They tore through documents, but couldn't find documents on Samoda.
"Mako, are you sure that you can find Samoda's records?" Korra asked.
"The Republic City Police Department has the records of every citizen in the city. Mako looked through the files, but could not find the file for Samoda. He saw a secret door with caution tape and a sign saying, "Do Not Enter" on the door.
"Maybe it's in that obvious door with the caution tape and the Do Not Enter sign." Bolin said.
"If there's a Do Not Enter sign, then it's probably for a good reason." Naruto said. Bolin ripped the caution tape off the door and went in.
"Bolin, are you crazy?" Mako said. Naruto and the others followed. The door led to a hallway leading up to a locked door with a big red sign that read Enter At Your Own Risk. Naruto looked at the sign and came to the conclusion that this was where Samoda's file was.
"Samoda's file has to be here." Naruto said. "Since Samoda was puppeteering the Triple Threats, she has to be involved with them in a way."
"I agree." Korra said, taking the metal off the wall and Metalbending a key to open the door. She opened the door and found an envelope in a glass box that had the logo of the Triple Threat Triad, a triple yin yang of red, green and blue on it. Naruto broke through the glass box and opened the file. The file said that Samoda was the founder of the Triple Threat Triads, the nation's oldest Triad, and the biological niece of Yakone and daughter of Algonquin, Yakone's brother.
"Who was Algonquin?" Sasuke asked.
"According to police records, Algonquin was a prominent member in Yakkone's gang, but left the gang when his wife had died, so he fled the city and moved to the Northern Water Tribe with his daughter and teach his daughter how to Bloodbend.
Many Years Ago...
Algonquin was an old man with grey hair in a ponytail and a beard. He wore a dark blue fur coat and dark blue heavy pants with black fur boots. He carried a basket while climbing up a snowy hill, approaching a bare tree. He pulled out candles and a portrait of his wife as she appeared beautiful in the photo. Algonquin was sad as he lit the candles and began to sing his dead wife a song.
"Happy birthday, my love." Algonquin said, crying. Algonquin began to kneel over crying, as tears rolled down his eyes.
"Father, why are you crying?" Samoda said to her father.
"Your mother, my wife is gone." Algonquin said. "I am your only parent now."
"When will Mother be back?" Samoda asked.
"Goddammit, Mother ain't coming back, she's dead!" Algonquin said.
"Dead, what does that mean?" Samoda asked.
"It means she is lost forever, she no longer exists." Algonquin said.
"But why?" Samoda said.
"Death just happens to be a part of life." Algonquin said. "It may be tough to accept, but it's how the world works. There are people born every day, and people die everyday. In order to maintain balance, people have to exit this world in order for new ones to enter. We can't have too many people in this world because then this world would be too crowded."
"Oh, it all makes sense now." Samoda said. "Dad, you're the best."
"Thanks, my daughter." Algonquin said. "Now I will show you the art of Bloodbending, a skill that my brother built his whole criminal empire on, and you can build a criminal empire of your own on it if you wanted to..."
Samoda and Algonquin snuck out at night when there was a full moon without ever having to worry about Samoda's mother noticing, since her mother was dead. Samoda started bending the water in the blood of wolves, penguins, polar bears, and even polar bear dogs. She became so skilled with Bloodbending that she became corrupted by it, and turned into a psychotic child prodigy.
"Does it feel good to know this power?" Algonquin told her daughter.
"Yes, I have never felt more alive." Samoda said.
"There is water in everything that lives and breathes." Algonquin said. "You should know that, for once you master the animals, you should be ready for live humans." Algonquin taught Samoda to Bloodbend without a full moon, since she was so good at it, and she actually pulled it off. Algonquin clapped and cheered Samoda on.
"Yes, yes, great!" Algonquin cheered. "Now you must Bloodbend me."
"I will." Samoda said. "You taught me so much, but I will be my own master." Samoda Bloodbended Algonquin, making his body explode, as his head and limbs fell off of his torso spewing blood all over the Water Tribe snow. There were also intestines and brains on the snow as well. Samoda laughed maniacally as she never felt more alive.
"HAHAHAHA!" Samoda laughed. "With the skill of Bloodbending, I shall destroy all who get in my way and Republic City WILL BE MINE!"
Present Day
Samoda, now an adult, was waiting on Two Toed Ping to steal the mover so she can know the truth about the Avatar.
"Dammit, when is Two Toed Ping going to bring me that mover?" Samoda said to herself. "If he does not take forever, he will face my wrath!"
"But Samoda, Two Toed Ping has never been on a solo mission."
"I didn't ask your opinion, Shin!" Samoda said. She used her Bloodbending to explode Shin's head in perfect Scanners fashion, as blood flew everywhere and his brain fell on the floor.
"What the hell are you doing, clean that up!" Samoda snapped. Her goons went to get the cleaning equipment to clean up the blood and brains as well as the dead corpse. "Republic City is mine." Samoda said to herself.
That's it for part 17!
