Sorry for the wait, everyone. I was busy with graphic design projects and trying to get back into writing. So here's the next chapter! This might look rushed but I'm trying to finish this before moving on to the next volume of Rust's story with Libra! Please be patient with me. ;u;

Shit!

As the Blood Breed lunges at the group with his blades, both groups separated from the attack and impact of it as it made a small crater on the floor tiles. Libra to the left and the DBT to the right. Where was Rust since he is tied up by Zapp's Blood Arts? Well, Ink managed to grab him before Blood Breed misses him.

The Blood Breed pauses himself and looks between Libra and the DBT then begins to sniff. Then looks at the DBT group, mostly at Rust. Zapp curses under his breath.

"You! You're the one, aren't you?!" The Blood Breed pointed at Rust. This got everyone on the DBT's side tense. Shdwkyz cut the threads on Rust. The blond got up and rolls his shoulders, "I really have no idea what you're talkin bout, man." The blond glared. "Lies! You the smell of my master on you!"

"Honestly…what did you do?" Shdwkyz whispered to the blond.

"I don't know," Rust asked. "I can't remember crap."

"I think what he meant was that the Blood Breed you fought at the hospital is this man's master," Hellmare explained. Rust gritted his teeth, "If that's it, then…this guy is a bigger pain in the ass."

"SILENCE! YOU MISERABLE BRATS WILL DIE! I WILL MAKE SURE OF THAT!"

"Sorry…no way." Ink and her team got into a battle stance. However, the teens didn't get to attack as the Blood Breed was attacked by Libra. Crimson strings encased the Blood Breed and cuts him in several pieces. However, the pieces turn into crimson bat flying to the night sky. This is one of the Blood Breed's abilities to escape but this Blood Breed is not going to escape until he avenges his master. The bats slowly form a humanoid form, in the meantime.

Hellmare then goes on and says, "We should leave. We should leave the Blood Breed to Libra" "What?!" Rust blinked. Some members of the team don't want to leave.

"I know this is hard but the HLPD is coming and I don't think we will be much help. We might get in the way. Not to mention, Libra still wants Rust so that's a good reason that we have to leave." Hellmare explained the reason. Of course, nobody wants to refute but at the same time, nobody likes to leave a fight where one of their own is targeted. Especially at their own party.

"Got it. Rust?" Ink wanted to hear his two cents first.

"Ugh, yeah. Good point! Like Hellmare said, we gotta go!" What Rust hates is being useless and not dealing with his problems head-on. Navarro nods and takes two bombs before throwing at Blood Breed, "Heads up!" He yelled at Libra about the upcoming bombs before they exploded in a massive smoke.

"The fuck?!" Zapp as he tries to swing the gas away from him and his group while the teens start to jump to rooftops. Thanks to their demonic abilities, they managed to land on the lower rooftops with ease and they plan to get down into the alleyways.

"Okay, let's hope those Libra assholes back up their shit talk and take care of that damn vampire for us. In the meantime, we need to split up." Navarro said.

"Agreed, let's meet up at Central Park and go uptown."

"Wouldn't the police be there?" Oblivion asked.

"Yes but there's not a lot of them since they're coming this way. So they will spread throughout the city. There are yellow lines because of the mess last week but it might give us time to regroup there and go uptown." Shdwkyz stated.

"Let's do that then." Ink stated. With that, the team split up.

Shdwkyz with Hellmare. Maggie with Navarro. Then finally, there's Ink, Rust, and Oblivion. The rest who was with Jaron are already gone and probably going to be at the hideout by now. Rings from their phones vibrated and all of the teens picked up and hit the speaker.

"Fosh." Ink answered and since everyone is on call, everyone listens to the conversation between the leader and the hacker.

"Hey guys! Me and everyone are out of the building and going straight to the hideout. What's going on?"

"We're out of the building and we left the Blood Breed to Libra. Hellmare said it's better if we retreat since that guy won't stay down! So we split up! " Ink explained to the situation.

"Got it. Okay, the HLPD is coming in about five minutes, so you have to leave pronto! I just hacked their communication and it said that they're going to secure the area of the building and trying to find you guys! What are you guys planning to go?"

"Central Park." Ink answered.

"Huh?! But there are yellow lines there surrounding the mess from last week and policeman patrolling it." Fosh said now sounding concerned.

"Shdwkyz said it's not a lot since they're spreading out since Hellsalem's Lot can become crazy during the weekends!" Ink replied.

"Okay, got it! Alright! I hacked the cameras in the city so I'm going to help out by making sure you guys don't get caught. So, have one person be on the line in each group." Fosh instructed. Now using their smartphones as walkie talkies to communicate.

"Right!"

"Don't worry about us, Fosh. I and Hellmare will make sure we won't get caught." Shdwkyz replied.

"Agreed. Focus on three groups." Hellmare added since the two are the hardest to catch and they want to lessen the workload for Fosh for the sake of his stress.

"Got it. Will do." Fosh said as he is in the car at the passenger seat with Jaron as the driver. Ophelia, Gerald and Taz sitting in the backseat. Fosh has his laptop on his lap while looking at all areas surrounding the penthouse using the cameras. Just like he stated before, the HLPD has arrived with Daniel Law coming out with his microphone barking orders to secure the area and tell another group of armored officers to find the punks. Punks meaning them to be exact. If anything, they were glad to be out of that building.

"Guys! Daniel Law is here."

"Ah fuck!" Navarro cursed.

"Me and Shdwkyz are away from the area and are heading via route in Central Park" Hellmare stated.

"Same here," Navarro added.

"Ditto," Oblivion said.

So far, the teens haven't encountered problems from the HPLD since they left the building already. But the teens did hear explosions from the penthouses as it is now up flames.

"Rust, we need to keep moving!" Ink said, grabbing his shoulder urging him to get a move on. Rust grits his teeth and listens begrudgingly as he keeps moving on. Ink frowns as she also shares his concern, "Don't worry, Rust. "Ink gives him an ensuring smile, "These Libra guys are this super-secret organization, right? So, they must be really strong. I think they're going to be okay."

"Right..." Rust sighed. The trio walked in silence. As they are almost neared at Central Park just by walking across the street. Ink widens her eyes and stops the two from walking the street before a shadow drops to the sky as it made impact with the ground, creating a crack on the pavement.

"Seriously..." Oblivion narrows her eyes to see the vampire once again. "I thought they take care of this guy already."

"Foolish demon children! When I was healing myself, one of my bats managed to track you down! I just made a copy of myself to keep those lousy fang hunters busy while I just searching for you by smell!" The Blood Breed laughs as he points at Rust and his friends. "So, give up and accept a quick death!" The vampire laughs as he turns his hands into claws.

Oblivion and Rust glared at the Blood Breed as they readied themselves, getting into a stance. He grins as he approaches but then he pauses as his mouth curls, seeing something absurd.

"You girl! In the middle. Why are you smiling?" The Blood Breed pointed to which the duo blinked and glances over to Ink.

"Oh nothing! It makes me wonder if you're strong like your master you keep talking about." Ink hummed with a smile on her face.

"What?"

Already, Rust and Oblivion can tell where this is going. Rust can hear Fosh going 'oh no...' from the other line of Ink's smartphone.

"I mean...your master is strong! Like really strong! He gives me a run for my money! It's pretty fun. But! I bet Libra is super strong if you have to make you a copy of yourself!"

"What are you going on about?!" Blood Breed demanded. Does she think that fighting a Blood Breed, his own kind is fun?!

"It means I can take you on." Ink said. If the Blood Breed didn't explode, this next statement came from Oblivion just to summarized her friend's statements.

"It means you're weak if you have to run away from Libra." Oblivion added to which Rust grins, crackling his knuckles.

"I'm going to show that a being like me isn't something to play with, you infernal brats!" The Blood Breed now lunges as the trio dashed forward as well. Not long, the battle between them is heard down the street.

Meanwhile back at penthouse, everything is on fire and everything has been completely trashed. The patio, the artificial grass on the lawn, and most of the furniture are on fire. Thanks to Zapp, of course.

"Are you trying to get us killed?" Zed asked annoyed.

"Shut up, fish sticks! Besides you're the one who dried up the pool with your wind techniques!" Zapp pointed at Zed with his sword annoyed.

"Excuse me for the putting fire out for own sake." Said Zed deadpanned.

"If anything, those little shits made more of a mess than I was!" Zapp argued.

"Can you guys focus?!" Leo cried.

"Why you still here?!" Zapp demanded, "Follow them, you damn pubehead!"

"HUH?! How the heck am I supposed to follow them when they jumped down to the rooftops?! I don't do parkour!" Leo yelled.

The Blood Breed can't help but laugh at these fang hunters. "Such foolishness! While you're so busy taking me down, I managed to find the demon brats. What you're facing right now is mere copy of my power!"

This got the three shut up as they turn their heads and all widen their eyes at the vampire. The vampire just sneered at them, their attacks are going to kill him if he wasn't careful so that's why he made a copy of himself. But now hearing what that girl in the navy jacket said to him, it angered him.

"Luckily for you, I have something else to kill!" With that, his copy disappeared into a blood mist.

"Damn it! We gotta to find them!" Zapp cursed. "Leo, call the Chief!"

A figure crashes into a brick wall resulting in smoke debris before clearing. It reveals Oblivion being knocked out cold from the Blood Breed's large blood hands or mostly likely claws.

"Oblivion!" Rust yelled but gritted his teeth as he and Ink are facing off with this vampire.

"You think you can beat me! You're all nothing but damn brats!" He roared.

Ink and Rust got scrapes on them but they're still standing. Libra aren't wrong, Blood Breeds are strong. Ink and Rust glanced at each other for a moment before they dashed forward together at the vampire.

Ink is the first to strike as she thrusts her sword forward. The Blood Breed smirked as he allows the sword to go through him. "Ha! You think going through my chest would wor-" He didn't get a word in as Ink grips the handle of her sword and sliced upwards, cutting upper body and head in half. Ink then jumps back before Rust delivers a punch downwards from the air, striking true, creating a small crater with the Blood Breed in it. Rust leaps back as he lands right next to Ink.

"Did you think we got him?" Ink asked Rust.

Rust narrows his hazel blue eyes onto the crater to which something moves in there. "Yeah but he's not down."

And Rust is right, the Blood Breed roared as he got up and unleashed his blood tendrils at them both. Ink then spins her sword like a spinning blade, ripping through the blood tendrils as a way to defend themselves. However, the vampire did not let up.

"Ink!"

"Don't worry! I can keep this up!" Ink grinned like a maniac as she starts to push forward by walking towards the Blood Breed. "Let's get close to him!"

Damn brats! That lighting brat was a pain so I send her flying, knocking her out so she won't use her lighting on me. Yet, these two are still annoying. I need to get them both at the same time! Then the curl of his lips went upwards as one of his tendrils went through the ground, passing the two. It was ripple as the two turn their heads to see what the tendril is going for.

"Oblivion!" They both yelled.

Ha! Tricked them!

Ink didn't spin stop her sword due to the onslaught and so Rust runs over to the ripple to stop it only to fall for the trap. Where the tendril changed direction and went after him. He got impaled through the shoulder and leg.

Rust coughed up blood before he was dragged across the wall and was thrown into the wed of blood as the pointed end of the tendril bursts into strands sticking to the walls.

"Hahaha! You have been caught in my web of blood. No way, you will get out of there!"

Shit... Rust coughed as he is hanged upside by blood strands due to the Blood Breed as his blood begins to spill onto the floor.

"Rust!" Ink yelled to which the Blood Breed laughs. "Ha! Not so confident, demon?! This is what you deserve for going against us. First I kill you and then that I will suck the blood from your friend."

"I won't let you!" Ink now growled demonic as her face distorted into a demonic face, surprising the Blood Breed and blocks upcoming the attack. The vampire gritting its teeth as he tries to overpower her but to no avail as Ink managed to keep up despite being beaten down and friends being in endanger. But sooner or later, he will win!

Ugh.. Rust is losing consciousness due to the loss of blood being spilled due to the tendrils that went through his shoulder and leg. He pants heavily as his eyes became heavy and sight begins to blur. Hell no...

And then...he struggled against the crimson restraints as he reaches out his metal hand with his now focused sights on the Blood Breed fighting Ink. Then his eyes glow red, his teeth begin to sharp and his metal hand begins to fist. Damn you. I'm not going to let you get away with this. Then the demonic voice inside his head, encouraging him.

Devour! Eat him! Show your prey your power!

He doesn't know how he did it, but it had the name, one that will slip through his mind after being used.

Then he released the tension from his body as he snaps his hand open, shooting out a configuration of blood and metal towards the vampire. When Blood Breed realized there's a huge shadow in front of him, he turns to see a crimson beast filled with sharp razor teeth. He yelped and instantly jumps away however, just like his master, his lower half is ripped off from his body.

Woah... Ink widened her eyes to see the power that Rust has unleashed. She then snaps out of it as she heard the Blood Breed yelled in a rage. He uses the remaining blood of his blood to bring back his legs but they were just large strands of crimson that make him stay upright. "Damn you! I will kill you for this!"

There's my chance! Ink thought and dashed forward in front of the vampire with a blue glowing great sword, Wyvern in her grip. "Not tonight, you won't!" She yelled.

The Blood Breed snaps his head to see Ink swung her sword right at his neck. He has no time to counterattack!

"VALOR!"

The blue glow soon became a huge azure of flames, hitting on contact with the vampire's neck.

SLASH!"

Severing his head in the burst of flames and sending it flying across the street. The blue flames engulfed his body, blazing it. Soon the flames from her sword fade into smokes, she exhales before lowering her blade. She hopes that makes him stay down for good. Now to check on the others!

"Rust!" Ink cuts down the strands that are binding him. Rust drops into the floor on his feet, panting. "Rust! Are you okay?" Ink asked, laying her hand on his shoulder. Rust with his eyes red looks up and smiles weakly, "Yeah...ugh.." Rust breathes in and out as Ink picks up his arm and put it over her shoulder.

"That's good... let's get out of here and-" Before Ink says anything,

"BLARGH.."

"RUST!"

"Ugh..." Oblivion shakes her head as she gained consciousness. She starts to get up as she shakes her head.

"Oblivion!" She heard her name called by Ink. She looks over to see Rust coughed up blood and his head laying on Ink's shoulder. "W-what happened?" Oblivion wasn't a person that expresses emotions easily as she always speaks monotonically. But this got her really worried to see Rust like this.

"I don't know...he uses this awesome power to deal with the blood breed and I managed to finish him off. Then he vomits out blood." Ink said in a panic. "We need to get him out of here and get him to Ophelia." Ink said. Oblivion nods as she grabs Rust's arm and puts it over her shoulder. The two girls helped Rust to Central Park where the rest of the team ran over to him.

"What the hell happened?!"

The battle between the demons and Blood Breed was five minutes. Ink urged the rest not to get involved since it brings more attention. Despite saying so, their battle creates a commotion and starts to attract the attention of bystanders. This includes her team as they heard Ink and Rust's cries over the line, making it hard to ignore the situation. And so they came to see the state of them.

"Guys. We need to get out of here." Shdwkyz said.

"Then let's go before the cops get here." Ink said. With that, the team went into the park and soon retreat into the darkness of the night.
